Sorry I make jokes when I'm nervous. And I'm kinda new here. I mean, half of you know me, but... well... giant purple guy and all. We need to heist that soul stone before he can get his hands on it, I agree. But we shouldn't go for it until we can properly use the Time Stone to save whoever we sacrifice. So we should wait until we know where the time stone is, and that it's in safe hands. As a relatively newbie, I feel I should wait until I cast a true vote. Although, that guy who sees everything does kinda scare me. Like, you see everything everything? Even when I'm in the bathroom?

I think I am picking up on what Mongo is putting down with that sort of softclaim, and it isn't a cop. If it's what I think it is, then Mongo is quite smart to do what he's doing, actually. UNVOTEh2f reads as strong town to me right now. DT looks mostly good for at least bringing up the Soul Stone thing. So does johndoe -- I like that he's the only other person to engage in mechanical speculation with me about what to do with the Soul Stone. It feels like scum are maybe avoiding talking about the Soul Stone because they don't know whether it's the correct play or not? Which makes me FOS: Hype, Dunne, Ryan, BobbyI'm going to VOTE: Draven, however. I dislike that he basically starts spewing IIoA when he arrives in the thread. Like what did that summary post do? There are no opinions given, other than pointing out the obvious like "the Mongo wagon is without reason" (no shit, it's an RVS wagon) or "Seth has a point about the Soul Stone" (what point? I made two separate ones) or "Mongo claiming cop is very interesting" (this is nothing, this means nothing). Happy with my vote here for now. *removes one of his headphones and hits stop on the walkman* Wait, what? The only reason I haven't discussed the soul stone yet is because I don't think there's a discussion to be had at this point. In my opinion you've jumped right to the issue of effectively gung ho-ing a player and hoping for the rest of the game that scum don't steal it. I feel like it's a pointless discussion on day 1. Nani the fuck? I'm pushing for us to NOT sacrifice anyone and all agree we aren't going to do it early so we don't derail the game later.

Both are as evil as one another, and definitely scum characters. Also why would you be nervous of Mongo seeing all! I guess because maybe... You're not the president after all! You're a Kree scum imposter!

If you think Kanyon is scum, why aren't you voting him...?

I'm unsure of really how to proceed and I've been going over everything so far. I'm a little clueless because this IS like, my second or third game admittedly.

Also just putting this out there that prioritizing the Soul Stone is gonna be hella important for town to do as early as possible, I think. We know mafia start with one gem and town starts with the rest, except for the Soul Stone. (Well actually, Kuroi says it's randomized, but giving scum TWO Infinity Gems to start seems like a huge head start.) If we get the Soul Stone in town hands and successfully lynch the scum that has their gem, town can be in control of every stone pretty early, which puts Mafia on a timer. The right sacrifice for the Soul Stone is probably the person with the least useful ability for town. I am not advocating for a claim. I think we can address this D2, maybe even D3, but we'll need to get that Soul Stone at some point. Granted you were saying from day 2, but this feels like an early discussion to me.

Right, and the very next post is me saying that we SHOULDN'T do anything like that after thinking about how we could just not sacrifice anybody and play the game as normal.

Wow so much to read. I think Seth is making waves for the town to not sacrifice and get the soul stone so he can have one of his minions do it instead. Just a thought.

(OOC [maybe]: I am new to this game and was confused by Mongo, are we in character or not?)

Yes or no you can choose apparently. In character is more fun. You know like design schematics and popular movies and advanced physics

"i haven't read anything so here's a take based on literally nothing that makes zero logical sense" thanks for the contribution vasty I don't automatically think he didn't read. That is a valid concern based on how some of our games have gone. That said Seth is right. Unless we have two town masons who the scum don't know exist and can be sure they are gifting the stone to a townie it'd be hard to justify the risk of gifting that stone to Thanos. I Also don't see Randy as scum as he is still trying to learn the game and nothing he's done screams scum more than new.

Yeah it's hard to call between new and scum at first. We've all been there and I'd definitely give him a pass for a while based on that.

If you think Kanyon is scum, why aren't you voting him...? He's new and I'm sure he's just having fun. If I'm changing my vote to anyone its you, big loud mouth bully. But as I have no solid leads or hunches on anyone, I'm actually going to Unvote
