You have Gino Montero which is quite good! Although I'm not that much familiar with the Mexican independent scene. Plus, I would recommend you to get a grades picture mod! The default ones are so bland. El Mitico Jr is definitely one to keep an eye on aswell, from the Mexican independents (He's been a massive draw for basically all of my other TEW saves, in both Mexico and America - bonafide main event material) As with Gino Montero, he will be in the Rip Chord Invitational (the last two singles matches before the main event are qualifying matches, this is for every fed leading up to the show)

BREAKING NEWS | NEW ROSTER SIGNINGS CZCW have bulked up their roster after losing two of its top stars, hiring Ernest Youngman and Rudy Velasquez - it is rumored that COTT Chief Executive Officer, Sam Keith, sees great potential in both men as the future of the Confederation, going so far as to call them future COTT World Heavyweight Champions - CZCW have been chosen to host the two thanks to their great roster turn-over and hard-hitting style - hoping to give them that extra edge. It is unknown whether the rest of the Latino Kings will be hired to join Velasquez, or if he will be going on a solo venture from here on out. Ernest Youngman bio: "The Assassin Of The Squared Circle" Ernest Youngman is a hot prospect from Chicago. With a very thick and muscular torso he resembles the sort of wrestler that was prominent during the 1960s and 70s, but his style is very modern, being based mainly around hard strikes and innovative bone-crunching moves. He is also particularly noted for having extremely strong mat wrestling skills. If he develops correctly, Youngman could become a very big name in the business. His first big break came in 2013 when he joined PSW and he has progressed nicely in that environment. In late 2015 he gained Venus Angeletti as a manager which helped boost his image. Rudy Velasquez bio: Rudy Velasquez is one third of The Latino Kings, a group of young Latin American workers who were trained privately by the late Shawn Gonzalez and then made their debuts in 2006 for DAVE. Shortly after, when the promotion folded, they followed their mentor south to FCW in Puerto Rico. Since joining FCW, The Kings have been very successful, and are now integral to the roster. Rudy is probably the best worker of the three, mixing speed with good technique, and a natural understanding of psychology. He regularly teams up with Hector Galindo, and the two make a pretty good tag team. Their gritty gang-related characters also work well, probably because they're fairly close to reality.

BREAKING NEWS | NEW ROSTER SIGNINGS OLLIE have independently hired El Mitico Jr from the Mexican independent scene, it is said that management saw a video of him at a local event and instantly knew he had the talent to be a top star - he is expected to debut on their next show following the Rip Chord Invitational, and big plans are already in-store for him and his career in the COTT. The same thing can also be said for Ant-Man, MAW's newest signee - Sam Keith brought him into the promotion and expects him to rise up the ranks, but first he's got to earn his spot, just like everyone else. El Mitico Jr bio: El Mítico Jr is the grandson of the original character and probably one of the first fourth-generation wrestlers on the planet (his great grandfather wrestled professionally before the formation of OLLIE, and his father wrestled a handful of matches on the independent circuit when he was in his late teens). Although young, he already has solid basic skills due to his amateur background and seems something of a wrestling machine; his stamina levels are freakish and his technical excellence is far in excess of what one normally sees in someone with so little in-ring experience. El Mítico definitely has the feel of a future star about him. Ant-Man bio: Johnny "Ant-Man" Heizenger is a 2009 graduate of the Piledriver School of Wrestling who got his ring name due to his freakish power, which is far in excess of what a regular 220lb wrestler should have - although he looks like a lightweight, he can easily pick up and slam 400lb monsters. With the benefit of good all-round training behind him Ant-Man can work a variety of styles and is considered a good, solid, versatile prospect. He was hired by ACPW in mid-2011 and has fit in to the promotion well, becoming one of their premier acts.

COTT RIP CHORD INVITATIONAL XI R E S U L T S
Location: Mid Atlantic (USA) | Attendance: 592 PRE-SHOW:LAST CHANCE BATTLE ROYALGeorge Wolfe df. 10 other men to win the Last Chance Battle Royal. Wolfe was an absolute monster in this match, proving why many see him as the "Chosen One" - his brutal skill and ring awareness at such a young age helped him in eliminating over a third of all the competitors in the match. It makes you wonder though, does he have someone teaching him behind the scenes? A manager of sorts? A mysterious figure of the past?OOC: Wolfe is definitely one to look out for in this save, maybe even a dark-horse - his chosen one gimmick mixed with his look, entertainment ability and wrestling skill mesh well and its only up from here. He's young and has room to improve whilst I work on pushing others up the card. 4C - CZCW - MAW - NYCW - OLLIE
BLOCK A Bradley Blaze Man Mountain Cahill Frankie Perez The Architect vs. | vs. BLOCK BFox Mask El Hijo Del Mephisto El Hijo Espada Roja Marvel Malloy vs. | vs. BLOCK CGeorge Wolfe Frankie Dee Bulldozer Brandon Smith Sayeed Ali vs. | vs. BLOCK DGreg Gauge Leftie Wilkes Honest Frank Gino Montero vs. | vs. MAIN SHOW: BLOCK A | ROUND 1 (MATCH ONE)Man Mountain Cahill df. Bradley Blaze in 8:12 by pinfall with the Mountain Topper The tournament started with hometown star, Bradley Blaze, going one on one with the Man Mountain himself - the crowd were roaring for Blaze, attempting to cheer him to victory - but unfortunately for him after 8 minutes of battling a beast, he was finally put away with the Mountain Topper - knocking him out of the tournament, and allowing NYCW's Man Mountain Cahill to advance to the Quarter Finals. BLOCK B | ROUND 1 (MATCH ONE)Marvel Malloy df. El Hijo Espada Roja in 12:50 by pinfall with the Marvel Breaker OLLIE clashed with CZCW in the opening round of Block B as the tag team breakout star, Marvel Malloy, fought the well-renowned El Hijo Espada Roja! Malloy proved himself, backing up his words that he has what it takes to win in singles action, that he has out-grown the tag team division (having been one half of the inaugeral COTT World Tag Team Champions) and that he is one to watch when it comes to the future of COTT - maybe even winning tonight's tournament to start. BLOCK C | ROUND 1 (MATCH ONE)Bulldozer Brandon Smith df. Sayeed Ali in 12:15 by pinfall with the Tombstone Piledriver It was a battle of the hosses that kicked off Block C! NYCW's Bulldozer clashed one on one with the former three time 4C Champion in a hard-hitting fight that ended after Sayeed fell victim to the Tombstone Piledriver. Bulldozer proved that he was the biggest of the hosses and won the crowd over with his no-nonsense, ass kicking persona. BLOCK D | ROUND 1 (MATCH ONE)Greg Gauge df. Leftie Wilkes in 11:22 by submission with the Proton Lock Greg Gauge was heavily cheered by the fans, being the Mid Atlantic Champion - there were some "smart fans" in the crowd cheering for the injured nemesis of the champion, Roderick Remus - but besides that his reception was loud. Unfortunately, whilst Greg seemed to have been trying to put on somewhat of a decent opening match, Leftie Wilkes let his side down - and almost seemed a bit sloppy in the ring, attempting to perform ariel moves he couldn't quite pull off, and when lost on what to do, applying a standard heel headlock to get heat - something that made the match feel slightly repetitive. BLOCK A | ROUND 1 (MATCH TWO)Frankie Perez df. The Architect in 16:11 by submission with the P-Clutch MAW's technical wrestling machine went head to head with that of CZCW's, in what was one hell of a technical masterclass. Frankie Perez and The Architect put each other into locks almost unimaginable to the human brain, and the audience loved every second of it - it wasn't a match that will be going down in the history books as one of the greats, but it will certainly be remembered in the COTT annuls for a long while to come. BLOCK B | ROUND 1 (MATCH TWO)Fox Mask df. Hijo Del Mephisto in 11:35 by pinfall with the Fox Hunter The two masked ariel assassins fought it out in match two of Block B - The reigning OLLIE Campeones de Universo came up short to the man fox, who is often touted as the face of CZCW. This match could have gone either way, but it seems Mephisto's tag team loss to the Eternal Kings at OLLIE's recent show messed with his psyche - allowing Fox to take the advantage and advance over OLLIE's regional champion.
BLOCK C | ROUND 1 (MATCH TWO)George Wolfe df. Frankie Dee in 9:44 by pinfall after using a foreign object George Wolfe, despite proving why he was the Chosen One in the Last Chance Battle Royal, seemed to have met his match in the 4C Champion - Frankie Dee. This test of his strength must have unearthed the brass youngster, who sought to use a foreign object to put an end to his foe - knocking Frankie Dee out of the tournament... This did break rule 5 (No foul-play in the tournament, otherwise you risk disqualification), however rule 6 overruled that in being that the ref's decision was final, and he had counted the pinfall victory (after not witnessing the foul-play). Therefore George advanced, but at the scorn of everyone else involved. BLOCK D | ROUND 1 (MATCH TWO)Honest Frank df. Gino Montero in 9:15 by pinfall with the Frank-N-Hurter There are plenty rumors running around backstage that Gino was originally the winner of this match-up, but plans had to change last minute as Honest Frank pulled out his creative clause - refusing to lose the upcoming OLLIE star. This did not go down well with management, but they could do nothing else than give Frank the green-light to go over. How this will affect his business as the new NYCW Empire Champion, we will soon see.
QUARTER FINALSBLOCK A Frankie Perez Man Mountain Cahill vs. BLOCK B Marvel Malloy Fox Mask vs. BLOCK C Bulldozer Brandon Smith George Wolfe vs. BLOCK D Greg Gauge Honest Frank vs. BLOCK A | QUARTER FINALSFrankie Perez df. Man Mountain Cahill in 7:47 by submission with the P-Clutch Despite a strong showing in round one, fatigued kicked in for the Man Mountain - and this was perfect for the technical assassin, Frankie Perez - he chopped the beast down to size before applying the P-Clutch to grant himself the victory in less than eight minutes - proving why brains beat brawn in a tournament of the best that COTT have to offer. There was some great heated moments in the match aswell, and the fans were really behind a Perez victory.
POST MATCHMarvin Earnest is seen at the interview set-up next to the entrance ramp, Frankie Perez makes his way up the ramp and towards him.Marvin Earnest: Congratulations are in order, Perez, you are the first to advance into the semi-finals: how ya' feeling?Frankie Perez: * deliberating* I've, uh, started my climb up the ladder here in COTT and it doesn't just stop right here, right now. It keeps on rolling... And I want to prove to everyone, the fans, management, Sam Keith and anyone else who matters that I, Frankie Perez, am the future of the Confederation. But don't just hear my words... Allow my actions to speak louder. He motions towards the ring. The fans pop.
Frankie Perez: I chopped Cahill down to size, it may have seemed like a tough battle before-hand - but afterwards I proved that any giant can be slain. Thankfully next round will be just the same, except I won't be facing giants, I'll be facing two of the best that my promotion, CZCW, has to offer. Unfortunately for them, I know their skill-sets in and out and next round will be just the same - I will chop them down to size, apply the P-Clutch and advance into the finals... Just stop, watch, wait and see... He moves away from the interview podium as he raises his fist to the crowd, garnering another pop. He heads into the back.
Marvin Earnest: Well said statement by "Kill Switch", Frankie Perez - coming up next we will see who Perez will be battling in the semi-finals as two of CZCW's best clash... It's Fox Mask versus Marvell Malloy... And it's coming up, right now! BLOCK B | QUARTER FINALSMarvel Malloy df. Fox Mask in 14:56 by pinfall with a Marvel Breaker It was a hard-hitting, CZCW style match that had some good heat behind it - Many thought that Fox Mask would be the favourite, seeing as he is CZCW's top star - but in a surprising turn of events, Marvel Malloy scored the upset after hitting a chance Marvel Breaker, shocking both himself and the fans in attendance. Maybe he really can make a name for himself out of the tag team tournament?
POST MATCHMarvel Malloy makes his way to the interview podium, energy levels at an all time high.
Marvin Earnest: Well Marvel, congratulations on your mad upset vict- Marvel grabs the microphone out of his hand.
Marvel Malloy: Okay enough talking old man, can we talk about how I just pinned the "so-called" figurehead of CZCW in a throwaway quarter finals match?! Isn't that just "mad"... Well, quite frankly, old man Marvin, I don't think it is... See, I said I would shock the world at the Rip Chord Invitational by breaking out of the tag team division and I've done just that - heck, I'm probably the best damn wrestler in all of this tournament. I'm facing Perez next, right? Easy... A breeze! He may be the Kill-Switch... but I'm the off button!Marvel shoves the mic back into Marvin's chest. He fumbles around to put it to his mouth.Marvin Earnest: But don't you think you're getting a bit ahead of yourself? He scoffs.Marvel Malloy: Ahead of myself? *laughter* I haven't even began Marvin!Marvel pats the announcer on his back before heading up the ramp, big fat cheesy grin on his punch-able face. BLOCK C | QUARTER FINALSBulldozer Brandon Smith vs. George Wolfe in 11:50 by pinfall with a backdrop driver If George Wolfe thought he met his match with Frankie Dee, he was in for one hell of a surprise coming up against Bulldozer Brandon Smith... Maybe the Chosen One was too far over his head? Or maybe the Bulldozer really was just that good? Not much heat behind this match, the crowd weren't all too loud - but that may be because they were following a CZCW bout.... Who knows... But one things for sure, Bulldozer has advanced to the semi-finals. POST MATCHMarvin Earnest: Brandon- Brandon! A few words please, a message to your opponent in the semi-finals! Brandon quickly gazes at the camera.
Bulldozer Brandon Smith: Watch out. Marvin is so pumped about how bad-ass that was he begins to perform badly.
Marvin Earnest: W- H- I- wow. Th- there you have it folks. BLOCK D | QUARTER FINALSGreg Gauge df. Honest Frank in 8:22 by submission with the Proton Lock Honest Frank finally got his comeuppance as he fell short to last year's winner, Greg Gauge! Frank tried his best to out-wit the Mid Atlantic Champion, attempting to take shortcuts here and there when the referee wasn't looking - but Gauge's ring awareness and fighting IQ was too much for the veteran, and eventually the youngster toppled the NYCW Empire Champion with the Proton Lock - forcing the bitter man to tap out! POST MATCHMarvin Earnest: Gauge! Please, come join me over here!Gauge, Mid Atlantic Championship slung over his shoulder, walks on up to the announcer and puts a hand on his shoulder, looking around at the all-too-familiar interview set-up.
Greg Gauge: What's up Marv? He smirks at the fans and the camera.
Marvin Earnest: You have one hell of a challenge coming up, you face the Bulldozer himself in the semi-finals - how you feelin' man?! Gauge looks down at the belt.
Greg Gauge: I feel like a champion, Marv!He pats the title as the Mid-Atlantic fans cheer.Greg Gauge: And tonight I'm looking to add another accolade to my collection - last year I won this thing, this year... I'm winning it again baybay! And when I do, Nicolas Lopez, I'm coming for that b-e-a-utiful World Heavyweight Championship belt of yours... And I'm bringing it right back here to the Mid-Atlantic bay... Baybay! He gives a wink into the camera as the fans pop loudly for their hometown hero. He shakes Marvin's hand before heading back up the ramp.
SEMI FINALSBLOCK A vs. BLOCK B Frankie Perez Marvel Malloy vs. BLOCK C vs. BLOCK D Bulldozer Brandon Smith Greg Gauge
vs. BLOCK A vs. BLOCK B | SEMI-FINALSJust as the first semi-finals match is about to take place, Perez is jumped by Malloy during his entrance! He is attacked from behind with a steel chair, and Malloy viciously continues to beat him with it in the ribs. He's laughing, almost sadistically, and taunting the crowd - his ego bursting at the seams!
Marvin Earnest: Malloy seems to be lost in his own ego! It's clouded his judgement!Ernest Forthdyke-hume: This is a clear violation of the rules! The referee quickly exits the ring, rushing up the ramp, where he is joined by other personal as they finally pull Malloy away from Perez. He checks on Perez before heading to the ring announcer, giving his final verdict on the situation.
Ring Announcer: I have been informed that due to rules five and six, Marvel Malloy has been disqualified from the tournament - therefore under rule eight, Frankie Perez will advance to the finals with a bye... If, he is still medically cleared to compete!Marvel drops the chair, the realization finally kicking in - he's fucked himself over.
Ernest Forthdyke-hume: What a rookie mistake! He thought he could gain an unfair advantage on Perez without any consequences?!Marvin Earnest: Marvel is certainly not going to forget this... and neither's Perez, those ribs look broken! Can he even compete tonight?!Ernest Forthdyke-hume: Well if he can't... Then the winner of the next match is crowned the champion?! Marvin Earnest: Who knows, Ernest - only time will tell!Perez is slowly helped to the back, but it seems he's left on his own two feet. Malloy is escorted out of the venue.
BLOCK C vs. BLOCK D | SEMI-FINALS Greg Gauge df. Bulldozer Brandon Smith in 15:41 by submission with the Proton Lock The broken fingers from earlier seemed to have really effected Bulldozer in this match, slowing his momentum down with the nagging pain and the mind-over-matter of the situation certainly didn't help. Hometown hero, Greg Gauge, managed to will the fans behind him in chopping down the terminator, only just managing to apply the Proton Lock after fifteen minutes - following Bulldozer's many powerful reversals out of the devastating hold. If Gauge didn't know how to avoid the Tombstone Piledriver, we'd be telling a very different story right now.
BREAKING NEWS | FRANKIE PEREZ CLEARED TO COMPETE!Frankie Perez Greg Gauge vs. RIP CHORD INVITATIONAL XIFrankie Perez df. Greg Gauge in 20:37 by pinfall with the Perfect Parity - Wins the Rip Chord Invitational XI Perez and Gauge went at it in the finals of the Rip Chord Invitational! It was technical wrestling machine vs technical wrestling machine, and despite Perez' bruised ribs, he managed to hit a last chance Perfect Parity to pin the former winner. Gauge was ever-so-close to winning, with the final moments being an applied Proton Lock on the bruised ribs before Perez only just reached the ropes - leading to Gauge getting caught off guard at the break-up of his infamous finisher. Perez, bruised ribs and all, was officially the winner of the Rip Chord Invitational XI.
POST MATCHFollowing the main event, Frankie Perez is handed the trophy by COTT officials - raising his arm as confetti is released and photos are taken by photographers. Sam Keith comes out from the back with the COTT World Heavyweight Champion, Nicolas Lopez, who wears an expensive purple t-collar, baring the top half of his chest, with smart navy suit trousers. They get into the ring as Keith introduces the two, a firm, almost intense handshake ensuing.
Nicolas is smiling, but its that of a fake smile, almost as if he knows the man before him could very well end his last reign on top. He doesn't look all too happy with the outcome...
But carries on smiling none-the-less...
[CUT FEED]
For being the smallest of the COTT promotions, (with a normal gate of around 300), MAW did quite well for themselves with this show! Unfortunately it wasn't broadcasted anywhere, but die-hard COTT fans will be sure to buy the DVD in the upcoming months. I'm happy with the result, not the best show ever, but it done its job. So glad this write up is over LOL. Hope you enjoyed the read! Stay tuned!

I've enjoyed the read. It just has to many images to scroll down. Greg Gauge vs. Perez was somewhat expected but Bulldozer Brandon Smith for me is one of the best wrestlers you have. Gauge will probably get "stolen" soon. It would be a lot more intuitive to show the ratings in the end or after each match. Those big images broke my immersion of the show. Plus you should push The Architect. OLLIE came out looking bad too. Wait to see more progress done.

Excellent show! *clapping gif*
I think shying away from making Gauge a back to back winner was the right move. Wolfe is definitely one to keep an eye on and I like how you’ve used the win to sow the seeds of a story.
KUTGW!

Plus you should push The Architect. OLLIE came out looking bad too. Wait to see more progress done. Yeah I completely agree with the too many images, I'll definitely be reducing them into a written format and adding a "spoiler" button so you can drop down the image if you want. After this show, I have realized just how good Bulldozer is - Honest Frank, the bastard, will be having a rough time in NYCW now that's for sure. I think all I've got to do is form the character a little more, storyline wise, just to make him a less one-dimensional badass. He's on my push radar for sure. Gauge went over because he was a regional champion, whereas Bulldozer was not - and especially because we were in the Mid Atlantic, I just felt it was the right choice to put the MAW Champion over in storyline wise. I have no doubt Gauge will be gone from the Confederation in a month or two (hence, why he didn't win). The Architect put on a good ass match with Perez, I'm not too fond of the render and his look, but if he carries on improving and impressing me I'm sure he'll be moving up the ranks a lot faster. OLLIE, unfortunately, were screwed over by the big name talent - Gino Montero was actually written in Frank's place, but due to the bastard's creative clause, he was able to block me from booking Gino going over in the first round. Therefore plans had to change otherwise the whole tournament had to be re-written so *shaking a fist at Frank*.

Excellent show! *clapping gif* I think shying away from making Gauge a back to back winner was the right move. Wolfe is definitely one to keep an eye on and I like how you’ve used the win to sow the seeds of a story. KUTGW! Thank you very much! It just felt wrong to put over Gauge again, especially considering the owner of the Confederation is his father. But, he lasted so long because I knew it would mean more if the winner went over the fan-favourite, clean cut, face of the Mid Atlantic. Wolfe will definitely be getting a push in MAW, hence the decision to make him win the Last Chance Battle Royal and advance into the quarter finals (beating the 4C Champion, albeit, with a tainted upset). His chosen one gimmick is a lot of fun to play around with, and I will definitely be exploring the story that "someone is mentoring Wolfe behind the scenes". So a big mysterious reveal kinda storyline! That good shit! So far I have sowed the seeds for two stories coming out of the show: COTT: Nicolas Lopez (C) vs. Frankie Perez CZCW: Marvel Malloy vs. Frankie Perez Not to forget the slow-burn heel turn happening in OLLIE with the World Heavyweight Champ: OLLIE: Nicolas Lopez (C) vs. Marcos Flores So... Whilst we build to Nicolas Lopez vs. Frankie Perez... We already have two storylines for the two of them to get them ready for the big main event! And the other competitors benefit aswell! Also... that Wolfe story I mentioned earlier... I've just figured out one hell of a reveal hehe. Stay tuned to the upcoming MAW shows.

I think the Gauge move was smart because, long-term, we know he's off to SWF, USPW or Japan.
Josh Jacobs can be moulded into a poor-man's MAW Main-Eventer on the cheap.
