Entrance Description:
"Tear It Up" by Queen kicks in as Ryu Matsumura walks out from the back, rubbing chalk dust in his hands. He's wearing simple black calf high boots, black shin and knee pads, and black tights. He also wears a black, red and silver RSPW T-Shirt on the way to the ring. He reaches the end of the ring level ramp, wipes his shoes on the apron and steps into the ring. The streams fly from all directions as he raises his right hand, extending the #1 finger.

Biography:
Ryu Matsumura is well known in Japan for being one of the hardest strikers in the land. Thick meaty long legs, huge frame, oversized soup bones for hands. He’s almost as famously known for his uncanny ability to endure massive amounts of punishment. Folklore in Japan is that no one hits harder than Matsumura. A test of resolve for young Japanese fighters is to lure Matsumura into a shoot fight mid match, by slapping him in the face (Disrespecting him). This will awaken the Bushidô within. To take a beating from Matsumura is like to become a man in the wrestling industry.

Spending much of his career as a shoot fighter in the King of Bushidô Shoot Fighting Tournaments, he's made the transition into Pro Wrestling. Knowing the stopping power of his kicks and strikes, he tends to throw them at about 50% power most of the match, unless of course he’s disrespected by his competitor.
