SHW Press Release w/SHW Commissioner, Lloyd Gustav
“Good afternoon, wrestling fans! SHW Commissioner Lloyd Gustav, coming to you with some very important news about Scarborough Heritage Wrestling.
First and foremost, our first televised event will take place in just a few days on April 30th and on it, we will host a tournament to crown our very first SHW Openweight champion! The participants for this tournament will be…
“The Adonis” Skyler Noah. He has traded in his championship match guarantee contract that he won in a battle rumble at FWA Reckless Warzone for a spot in this tournament. On top of winning it, he had an impressive showing, managing to Bodyslam “The Samoan Sensation” El Chico! Will his abnormal strength be the thing that helps him win this match?
“Half Man, Half Dragon” Kiran Link. The Young Dragon has been undefeated in his career thus far and as such, he has earned his place in the tournament. He comes to us from New Jersey and is part of Wayne Graham’s Dragon Brand. Will that be the difference maker in whether or not he wins it all?
T.J. Rellik. A veteran of many years and the man who taught J.J. Dallas everything he knows. He proves a great threat and could very well win this tournament. Will his craftiness be enough to get him through?
El Flecha. A talented wrestler from Mexico who hasn’t had much of a fair shake. He is the boyfriend and fiance of Juanita Guerrero and potential Brother-In-Law of Rey Miedo. Will this tournament be the very thing he needs to make an impression?
Rupert Hamish. This young man comes to us from Leeds, England, and hasn’t really made an impression elsewhere. He’s in this tournament because I believe he has what it takes, but one question remains: Will he go the distance?
Eddie Evans. A well-established name to FWA fans, but somewhat unfamiliar to those in the IWA. He’s an FWA Original and at one point had a contract with CHAMP Wrestling. Can Eddie win this tournament and bring honour to Morris The Meathead’s name?
“The 99mm” Draco Cutler. The right hand man for the leaders of the American Nightmare, SWANN and Jeffrey Shaw, sent here to SHW to keep them in check. He comes to us from Michigan and is hot off the heels of his big win at Reckless Warzone. Can Draco’s ring smarts advance him through the rounds, or will they get him disqualified?
Black Demon. Coming to us from Carolina, Puerto Rico, this man is the cousin and rival of FWA Wrestler, Angel Fuerza, and has been involved in MANY violent matches across the course of his career. Will his violent nature be the very thing that takes him through the tournament?
And those are all the participants in the SHW Openweight championship tournament. I hope you all enjoy the show. Until then, fans, I have been Lloyd Gustav for SHW and I’m signing off.”
