*The camera opens up in a gym. It zooms in on our MCCW World Heavyweight Champion Death Trap in the corner doing pushups on a blue cushion mat. He is dripping with sweat and appears to be tiring out as the pushups begn to come slower and with some trembling. He seems to hit his goal and rolls over onto his back panting. He grabs a towel and sits up and wipes down his face and neck. He then brushes out his hair with the towel to dry that. He looks over at the camera.*
: Being back at the grind takes effort. Being at the top of your game for every match because you represent the company you work for and are an ambassador ... it is tough work. And I'm not complaining, far from it. I needed something like this to really test me. It's a far cry from the days where we would do two TV shows a week and compete on every show. Now MCCW has the most grueling schedule and it's once a week, no house shows as of yet and every once in a while you get a break to heal. But this EOD shit is insane. I'm not saying I'm too old for it but I'm certainly not the young man I once was. I'm busting it at the gym, drinking ... *he shudders* ... kale smoothies, and doing pressers basically every day with a show on Wednesday and a match on Sunday. And I'm on the hottest streak I've had in my career.
*He stands up and blasts a shot of gatorade from a sports bottle into his mouth. He wipes his beard with the back of his hand and puts the towel over his shoulder as he takes another gulp and sets the bottle aside.*
: First it was Eichi Yamaguchi in a steel cage on the Mastery Tour. Where I won that belt *points to the belt in his bag*. Then it was Alexis Grace. Then Koch Knocher. Then the big hoss that was Duke Kosloff. And now ... Maverick. I'm running through some top tier talent, world title holders and contenders. And I've beaten them all. I made every single one of them tap out. They all gave up. Even Maverick ... known for being impossible to put down. Well my reputation is the same. This old man doesn't know the meaning of the word quit. It's why in my career I have never tapped out. Sure Ishnari knocked me the fuck out a few times ... ruddy bastard ... but overall you can get me down but you can't make me quit. And that gives me an advantage, an aura of power that you have to shatter and try to put me out for good because I won't hand you the win. Meanwhile I will make you cry for your mommy. And after three weeks of two matches a week and another coming with Ai Moe and Jason Justice ... I have to keep myself at my limit so I can keep delivering kicks that hit like a mack truck and submissions that are crisp and bone shattering. I need to keep the mind sharp with my workouts so I don't make mistakes and give people openings to exploit. I lost twice to Nelly Angel at the hottest point of his career when I first came back, and I was rusty, out of shape, and lacking discipline. But once I found that discipline ... once I sat down and made myself watch the tapes and the slideshows, once I was in ring shape once again ... I became an unstoppable force. Eichi and Jason Justice are the only people to put me down since then. I'm up to twelve wins where nobody else even has ten yet. And I am the world champ.

: And that is what is going to carry me forward. Two more end of days matches. A rematch with Justice for my title next week. My focus, my discipline, my hard work, my skills are what is going to carry me. I've endured insane punishment from Koch and Duke, I outlasted the Persistent Force that is Maverick. I earned the adoration that is showering over me this week. All people want to talk about in pressers is how I do it. What is my secret? Where is the fountain of youth? Can I touch your abs? And it's no secret. I've always been up front about what I'm about. I haven't changed since the last time I was XHF World CHamp. I haven't lost that spark. And that is why no matter who is put in front of me I will not let up, I will not underestimate them, and I will not risk my reputation. And that is what brings us to Ai Moe.

Still suppose I should worry about a former EOD winner ... and this new guy who I might face next week if I win here who has been under the Jackson Steele training program.

From what I understand she's the women's champ in LXW and is making that place her own. Champ versus champ. And a former world champ in SBW as well. Others may overlook things like this. Sure the fed closed. But hey Raiden Ishimori came out of there too and it seems like the people who stuck around are worth their salt. So listen to me when I say this Miss Moe. I am going to give you my all, everything I got, all you can handle and more. I am leaving nothing on the table except my sweat and tears.
