Character Rules
In an effort to prevent difficulties relating to content and the larger proboards from remember the XHF in a negative light; we have the following character rules:
1. Personal Protective Equipment: clothes. There will be many obstacles between your character and victory (e.g., a wall of fire). To help them, we suggest they put some pants on but require they cover their groin and wear something to prevent a “nip slip”; no wardrobe malfunctions please. This can be a shirt or a well placed feathered boa. It could be tassels or pasties or superglue a fish to their chest but keep ‘em covered. This is applied to all genders and species (excluding vehicles).
2. Your characters will not be killed or sustain life-threatening injuries in this race (unless requested by the handler) however they could be harmed a little bit (e.g., broken bone(s)). Keep this in mind if you want to use your active wrestler as the driver. We are still in the XHF universe here.
3. Characters per team, you are allowed a maximum of three (3) crew members. One (1) must be in the car, and up to two (2) as support / pit crew. How you wish to assign their roles is up to you. You are welcome have one support person the sandwich king and his whole function be to eat sandwiches the day of the race but note that this will still be counted as a team member. You are welcome to use assistive technology as currently available in the XHF universe but note that this may include other teams having a cell phone blocker or EM pulse cannon too.
4. All crew members must be living organic organisms. Bears are horrible drivers, trees are worse, but that’s on you. Artificial intelligence will be allowed as a modification to the vehicle only (see vehicle rules). No robot drivers, sorry.
5. Extra non-team member characters are allow in the roleplays but they have to watch the race from the spectator section.
Additional rules may be added if they are deemed necessary.
