GIMMICK SUMMARY
IZM is the embodiment of what her father was when he wrestled. She embodies the fighting spirit, toughness, and the willingness to never give up just like him, and is even dedicated to Wrestling just as he was as IZM only cares about Wrestling. IZM was trained in the King's Road style of Wrestling and embodies every bit of it, and wants to continue the legacy of that style. She isn't afraid to show her emotions in her matches as you will see her expression of pain to her expression of rage. Her main goal is to carve her own legacy in the wrestling world while preserving a fading style of wrestling.
HISTORY
Izumi Kobashi is the daughter of legendary Puroresu wrestler Hideo Kobashi. She grew up in this sport and would often be at shows to watch her father wrestle as well as some of his students he taught. Hideo tried everything he could to get his daughter not involved in wrestling by making her focus more on Field and Track and even Swimming, but that was to no use. Izumi was set on being a wrestler like her father.
At the age of 14, Izumi would begin her training by her own father after he realized there was nothing he could do to change her mind. He didn’t treat her lightly, in fact he made sure to train her harder than the others secretly hoping that would cause her to change her mind. He was wrong as that made her more determined. He realized that Izumi was a natural athlete like he was and at times could outperform some of her fellow students. After finishing her training with her father and doing a couple shows for a local promotion he co-ran, she was ready to head off on her own journey.
