BIOGRAPHY

Adam Michael Sanders life got really interesting once he moved to San Diego. The Michigan native attended college at UCSD with a degree in telecommunications, he began to become a fixture in the EXODUS Pro fan club called Section B. After being a fan of the company for so long, he started dating former EXODUS Pro wrestler Kenzie Rydell, who through her, met former three-time World Heavyweight Champion Adrien Cochrane. After learning from him for over a year, Adam took a shot at a wrestling career at #FSociety. He wrestled two matches, winning one of them, but after transferring to the sister company, FAW, he lost all five of his matches, causing him to leave the industry.

His mentor decided it was best for Adam to try to learn from the person who trained him. After spending some time at Camp Nightfall with Nightbringer Ryan Corey, Adam is ready for a new chapter to his career in WCG. And after a few months in the company, he capture his first ever championship with a victory over Shawn Young for the WCG Long Beach Title. He began dating fellow WCG competitor Izzy Roxx in early January 2018 but their relationship ended as Izzy's manic depression became too toxic for Adam to handle. Sanders bounced back as he began dating then-WCG South Bay Champion Tasmin Richards and then winning the Aerial Warfare match for another chance at the WCG Long Beach Championship. Unfortunately, the company closed before he could cash in his title shot.

He and Tasmin went to the Ascension-brand of HYBRID Wrestling right after. Adam wasted no time getting his feet wet as he was right back into feuds with fellow former WCG stars Prince Sekmethotep and Sela-Rica Lark. Adam was able to capture the HYBRID Underground Championship from Lark and has had the most defenses with that belt as of this writing, including a high profile defense against Prince.

Adam found himself a member of a stable as his friend Jesse Anderson began to be the target of management and their Crusade. He banded with Anderson, Danielle Anderson, Martin West, Billie Sky, and Hannah Watson. They called themselves The Reckoning. The trio of Adam, Billie, and Martin won the HYBRID Triad Championship under the Reckoning banner.

ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION:


The drum fill followed by the opening guitar riff for the title track off the fourth studio album by Canadian punk band Sum 41 begins to blare on the Ascension PA system. The fans begin to cheer as the lights go dark and a single spotlight appears on the ramp.

One, two, three, four

The rest of the band joins the guitar as Adam Sanders emerges behind the curtain. The fans give the Awkward One loud cheers as the spotlight follows his trek towards the ring.

Announcer: From Grand Rapids, Michigan, weighing in at two hundred forty pounds, he is the Awkward One… ADAM SANDERS!!

Well, I won’t be caught living in a dead end job
While praying to my government guns and gods
Now it’s us against them, we’re here to represent
And spit right in the face of the establishment!

Sanders walks up the stairs, walks down the apron a bit and puts both arms in the air. The fans continue to give loud cheers for the AWF competitor as he steps between the top and middle rope to enter the ring. He steps on the opposite turnbuckle, the chorus of the song becomes the backdrop for him to hop back into the ring.

APPEARANCE: Varies greatly. Can wear a suit, can wear t-shirt and shorts. Wears glasses a lot, but sometimes doesn’t.

MANAGEMENT STYLE:
Eddie doesn’t interfere in matches (with ONE exception in a cell match and even that wasn’t physical contact) and doesn’t even come to every show. The only two clients he ever does promos for is Adrien and Adam. Adam has been getting better at doing his own promos once he feels comfortable somewhere, but Eddie helps out as much as he can.
