We’re opening inside the arena, home of In Harms (Geta)Way, but it’s clearly after hours here on the eve of the big night as the hallways are dark. Yet it’s enough for us to hear a voice. A voice refusing to tremble. One stern and comfident. He’s clearly comfortable in the dark and isn’t phased by the subject matter
Reeshi :: It’s not enough. And it’s never going to be. Simply put what has taken place between myself and Steve has gone from wrong place, wrong time to one holding such personal vendettas. And it’s all on you Steve. I know, I know, same old song and dance, blaming the other for what is about to occur. But it’s true. I’ve never been one to hide from my actions nor hide from responsibility. I came out here after seeing my titles in possession of somebody they didn’t belong to and I told you, hell I told the world that I didn’t blame you for the misfortune that took place that night. I blamed our dumbass of an official that clearly made the wrong call. I told you I would come...but not for you. I simply told you I would be coming for those titles. And that’s exactly what I intended to do when I chose to cash in my little rematch clause. What happened instead was you tried to create a riff between myself and Platinum, and then you tried to humiliate me.
The voice, so calm and sterm before becomes even more serious than it was before
Reeshi :: Midgets. About half a dozen or so midgets all gnawing on my fucking leg. Some kind of joke. Some kind of attempt to lighten me up and let me have some fun. Well I am having fun Steve. I had plenty of fun this past Friday night when the Hierarchy took out the moter city mafia and their little bitch Mandi. You’re not so big and tough when it comes down to getting down to business are you Steve? No, that whole lighthearted, laughing matter is more your scene. And that’s fine, but you’re in a situation where there’s no room for laughter, there’s no room for jokes. You’re holding stolen property. Property that belongs to a man who has built a reputation for hurting people. A man who has reached legendary status by ending careers of XHF legends, causing more pain and punishment than anybody on this roster could possibly dream of, and lets not forget, having the whole damn company kissing the ground I walk on for my XHF Title accomplishments. I’ve beat the fear and respect into every individual in the back and all they did stand across the ring from me. All they did was dare step into my ring...to my yard.
The voice relaxes again though still calm, stern and comfortable
Reeshi :: But you Steve...you dare do so much more. You insist on mocking me. You insist on trying to humiliate me. You know full well you didn’t earn that X*Crown Title. You know full well you don’t deserve to hold them. And furthermore you know the whole locker room realizes it too. Is attempting to knock me down a notch your way of enlisting some sort of credibility to your name? I appreciate the effort Steve, I really do. But you picked the wrong time...a time where you’re holding my belts....and you sure as hell picked the wrong guy. Because now your actions...not only will they not raise your credibility...not only will they make you appear legitimate atop the XHF world, but as I showed you Friday night...they knock you back to reality and beyond. The reality is, you didn’t even deserve to be in that fatal fourway to begin with. Kanyon sure as hell didn’t. I beat his ass three months running. So not only did you not deserve to be there but you beat a man that deserved his spot even less. You beat a man who is feable and week. One that brought down the integrity of those belts and failed to get past the man who was restoring such integrity. The reality is you’re at the bottom of the todem pole with Kanyon. You’re holding up the rest of us while we stand tall, in the spotlight of the wrestling industry and showcase this company. It’s the rest of us that put these people in their seats, and it’s the rest of us that will continue to put those people in their seats while you scrape the very cement we built this ring on desperately searching to make the card.
Reeshi steps through the shadows of the darkened hallways and now stands so his head is slightly light up. Though shaded we now see the figure and his face is slightly visible
Reeshi :: Steve, I gave you analogy of a banker coming to collect not only on the loan but the interest itself. What happened to you on Friday...that wasn’t either. That was your down payment. You still owe me those titles and you still owe me that interest. I begin to collect on Wednesday, but you know as well as I do that the large, large sum coming back to me...that transaction will take place on Sunday. Not only do I get back my titles, but I will get my interest. This is a Last Man Standing match Steve...this isn’t something people play around with. This isn’t a joking or laughing matter. This is my domain. This is about pain and torture. This about punishment. And there is nobody in this business that knows about all of the above better than the most ruthless, relentless, maniacle, sadistic yet methodical son of a bitch this company has ever seen!! Wednesday is nothing more than to soften you up for Sunday. To get your feet wet so to speak. I won’t beat around the bush. I know you’re still hurting from Friday. Wednesday is merely to add more salt to the wounds, to make them a little bit fresher before I finish the job on Sunday. Take your bumps and take your bruises. Because there’s only one king of Detroit and it’s been the same guy that’s been king of the XHF for the last six or seven years.
Reeshi steps right into the camera this time
Reeshi :: Consider this a lesson learned Steve. As I said, around here we have levels. Stick to yours. Hang out at the bottom with the Funaki’s and the Obsidian’s of the world and leave the big spotlight to the guys who can handle it. Leave the real fun to the big dogs. You’ve had your 15 seconds of fame and now I have the privilege of stripping you of that right; of that spotlight. Just as quickly as Kanyon gave it to you...I will strip you of all that and more. See you tomorrow night...just hope you make it to see me on Sunday.
Scene fades
