YŪREI was once a normal wrestler on the Joshi wrestling scene of Japan between the years of 2016 to 2019 before she took a much darker turn in her career path and became the woman she is today. On a war path of destruction, she’s finally humbled herself to join the much bigger leagues after months of excursions between the United States and the United Kingdom. For YŪREI, she has one goal in mind and that’s to knock every girl off their podium and to make the The Nightmare Queen sit at her rightful throne.
HISTORY
Born in Seoul in South Korea, the younger sister to former Shouten Kakuto Seisho star, Ryu Nakamura, and more to a long lineage of other members of the Nakamura namesake in Japanese Wrestling. Hana Takeda-Nakamura is a fourth generation wrestler, alongside her brother, and has been training alongside him since 2014 with their father and grandfather training them in everything they were taught. Being just a small bit younger than her brother, she was born three months after the family had moved to Seoul before moving back to Japan and relocating to Yokohama when she was four years old in 2001. For her childhood, until the years of 2014 had arrived, she was obsessed with Professional Wrestling as she watched her father and grandfather still compete in the ring, before both retired seven months apart in 2012 and 2013. In 2014, she began her training and didn't have her first professional match until 2016, the year her grandfather had passed away. Her time in the Japanese wrestling scene wasn't cutting any good ties with the larger companies, displeasing her father in the process as Ryu had began to shine brighter than before, and as Ryu had signed on the dotted line to Shouten Kakuto Seisho, The Nightmare Queen was born. A newer look, a less sympathetic and darker attitude was taken over in Hana Takeda-Nakamura as she dropped the name of the family that brought her riches and fame in the sport to become The Ghost of Japan... YŪREI. Finally being given the spotlight she solely deserves, and overtaking the light from her older brother, she is the one who enters J-ROK with one goal set in her mind, eliminate everyone.
