Thursday, Week 3, January 1991 | Normal Show Intent | Iberia, Europe
From Main-Event to Opener
FIT FINLAY & ??? VS. SAMU & STEVE WRIGHT
MAIN-EVENT | TAG TEAM MATCH
In the main-event of the Night 1 we have place for the on-going feud between Finlay and Red Bastien. Bastien's lackeys will try to put Finlay out so he can't wrestler on the night 2 for the EWE Supreme Title. But Finlay already said that he has friends too and his partner for this night is yet to be announced.
ULF HERMAN VS. ERIC ALGAR
BEST OF 16 ROOKIES CUP '91: SINGLES MATCH
Maybe a bad draft for Eric Algar who showed a lot of potential to become the Rookies Cup winner but he has to face "The Tower of Power" Ulf Herman who has a lot more experience and wants the Rookies Cup. Maybe it is also a bad draft for Ulf Herman? He did asked for more competition but can Eric prove the critics wrong and advance in the tournament?
IAN MCGREGOR VS. PSICOSIS
BEST OF 16 ROOKIES CUP '91: SINGLES MATCH
Psicosis really wanted to face Rhapsody but it won't happen tonight and his chances of advancing in the tournament just got slimmer as he has to face Ian McGregor technical prowess. Ian McGregor defeated Robbie Brookside to qualify for the tournament but it was almost a handicap match, he certainly is looking strong. Who will advance?
PITBULLS VS. WORLD CLASS TEAM & GEORGE TAKANO & GORO SHIMURA
POSSIBLE 2 VS. 4 HANDICAP MATCH
Gedo and Jado continue to use their backstage tactics and asked Red Bastien for this match with the promise of bringing 1 new talent to the company and George Takano as a special guest. Bastien agreed to book it but he might need a favor from the team later on, pretty much like "The Godfather". If Pitbulls don't find themselves 2 team-mates for this match they will have to face Gedo, Jado, George Takano & Goro Shimura.
RHAPSODY VS. RASHID ALZAR
BEST OF 16 ROOKIES CUP '91: SINGLES MATCH
One one side we have the ninja Rhapsody who barely speaks but has proven himself as a great competitor and got qualified at the last event on the other side we have Rashid Alzar who proclaims himself to be a Rising Star. Who will make it to the next round? Certainly we have all the ingredients for a great match between both rookies!
CHRIS BENOIT VS. NUKILLEAR
BEST OF 16 ROOKIES CUP '91: SINGLES MATCH
One of the favorites to win this Rookies Cup Edition, Chris Benoit will face the Mad Scientist, Nukillear, who used some kind of potion of invincibility to qualify himself to the Rookies Cup. Will he have the same tactic this time around?! Will it have any effect and can he take Benoit out of the competition?!
DA VACANT VS. ADAM SANDERS
BEST OF 16 ROOKIES CUP '91: SINGLES MATCH
The humanoid robot, Da Vacant, seems to have superpowers as he Spinner McKenzie around the ring last time without even touching him. But can he do the same to Adam Sanders? Sanders qualified in a very atypical fashion at the last event and surely he doesn't want to lose this opportunity.
THE HANDSOME SAILER VS. ZEZE TABORDA
BEST OF 16 ROOKIES CUP '91: SINGLES MATCH
At the first event of EWE history, Sailor won his match and interrupted a Taborda promo searching for a treasure he left backstage before heading into the ring. Taborda didn't liked this and trashed his treasure beating Sailor with it. Since then, Taborda wanted to show that he is better wrestler than Sailor and fought against Jason Cross the man who Sailor just defeated but had to cheat. Sailor has the Wrath of Neptune on his side. And this is the real deal now will it end both man competition? Or take it to another level?
SHINIGAMI & TRACEY KEMP VS. KLONDYKE KATE & ??
POSSIBLE 2 VS 1 HANDICAP MATCH
At the first event of EWE history after Shinigami won her match against Julie Starr she was run down by the Monster Klondyke Kate, who also destroyed Tracey Kemp in a match last show. Shinigami was commentating that match and stared and challenged Klondyke Kate showing tat she wasn't afraid and Tracey Kemp helped her when Klondyke Kate was about to attack. Both women kissed afterwards. If Klondyke Kate doesn't find a partner she might find herself in a handicap match vs. The Reaper & Tracey Kemp.
JOHNNY ANGEL VS. KIRA IZUMI
BEST OF 16 ROOKIES CUP '91: SINGLES MATCH
The Bar Brawler, Johnny Angel certainly is one of the favorites to win the Rookies Cup '91 and he will face the man who was already beaten up several times, Kira Izumi. In an unlucky draft for Kira Izumi the question that arises is, will the donuts do anything for him? So he won't get beaten so badly? Let's hope so.
DONUT MAN VS. CROSS RECOBA
BEST OF 16 ROOKIES CUP '91: SINGLES MATCH
The first match of the night will have Donut Man facing Cross Recoba. Donut Man has recently forme a tag team with Kira Izumi and we already saw the power that he has specially after he eats his donuts. But the cocky Cross Recoba already knows this and after last event showing against the Cubano and his words saying that the Rookies Cup was his only goal within the EWE before leaving he will do anything in his power to overcome the Donut Maniac.

This will be a the biggest event EWE presented so far. There are already some matches booked for the Night 2 but I will create the thread for it after Night 1 is held since the event is one week later. This card is subject to change.
