Dear Friends,
The XHF is holding a network event (Night of Champions) and CAR will join; but how? Members of the crew aren’t trained wrestlers and it was decided that the wrestlers could not handle the awesomeness of facing our vehicles that won’t submit. I proposed we have a pre-game race! (I don't know if this translates, but where I went to college, "pre-game" referred to drinking beer and otherwise parting prior to the big event, usually American football.)
This race could have been in the ring with the wrestlers as obstacles but apparently that could actually damage the wrestlers. Instead CAR will host an extra event outside the main event. A short race in addition to the July race. The July race, another Sippy Cup qualifier, will have a roleplay window before the Night of Champions roleplay window. Remember, roleplays need a minimum of 5 words.
This XHF Network short race will not affect the point system or influence the Sippy Cup in any way; it will not offer any awards or compensation to the winner other than the glory of saying “I won the silicone cup!” ... and a silicone breast implant trophy...because you’re a boob.
Crews who want to be “in” the race but don’t want to roleplay, send me a PM. Crews who want to roleplay in the race, send me a PM. I am fully prepared to have only the jobers race in this adorable little tug as I fully understand and support that all of you probably have other obligations in Night of Champions. I would much rather have you all join the July race then the network race but if you would like to do both, or appear in both, let me know.
So what is a short race? A race between two or more cars over a short distance, usually a quarter of a mile, as a test of acceleration is called a DRAG RACE.The standard distance of a drag race is 1,320 feet, 402 m, or 1/4 mile.
But that’s not all! Vehicles will need to DRAG a bull statue weighing 1500lbs (~680kg) behind them for the full ¼ mile RACE.
