Psycho KGB: "(Tonight we come off of the great show that was Sadistic Summer, Brad Swann became our King of Hokkaido in the co-main event and STRiFE made another title defense. We saw Eric Havoc steal the title from Randy Angel and Dodo-A-Gogo prove why they're one of the best tag teams in the world today.)"
MUSHI: "(Tonight we are just one day away from Night of Champions, a huge event that'll see Dodo-A-Gogo face off against Rage and Fury for the Power Ballad Championships. Don't miss that or Dylan Black fighting for the X*Crown tomorrow. We're rooting for you guys to steal the show!)"
Psycho KGB: "(Tonight though, we have many matches in store for you, Havoc vs. Angel, Gods of War debuting against Sons of Loki. a tag team match with bright stars looking to showcase their skills and folks, there's more.)"
Psycho KGB: "(We see MYOJIN take on Zach the killer, IZM get her hands on SKY Force finally and the return of Wolf Fang Ayame! Also the final match of Sanada Inoki before he leaves for FWA, gross! and in the main event the Uber Rookie Brendan Harding faces off against The Future Ace Momoko Honda and looks to end her 8 month undefeated streak and title reign!)"
MUSHI: "(This and so much more folks, you're in for a great show tonight!)"
Match One: J-ROK Straight Edge Championship Match; Standard J-ROK Rules; 60 Minute Time Limit
Eric Havoc Vs. Randy Angel(C.)
Eric Havoc Vs. Randy Angel(C.)
To start the match, Eric Havoc has a lot of trouble against Randy Angel. Trying to figure out how Randy Angel is still standing up and drinking so much in the match.
As Randy takes the advantage in this match, he stops to drink a little of his flask. No matter what he does, he still cannot seem to put Randy down for the three count.
Eric would turn things around with a Tribulation (crucifix powerbomb) and then finishes things off with the Devastation (pedigree) for the win.
Eric Havoc celebrates with the title in the ring as Randy Angel slinks off with his flask in hand.
Fumio Daemura: "(Your winner of this match and NEW J-ROK Straight Edge Champion... Eric Havoc!)"
The Owner heads out and hands Eric the belt for real this time, as he won it in this match. He leaves him alone to celebrate his victory.
Eric crouched to his knees, holding the microphone as his championship belt lays on his shoulder, laughing with shallow breaths, “I told you all, and I told the whole world, you never bet, against The One. EVER!” he spoke.
He stood up, stumbling a little bit before finding balance, speaking again to the crowd, “I wrestled, once upon a time, for the biggest company the world, I gave my passion, blood, and tears for the sport, but they never saw my potential, as such, I left, travel around the U.S before coming here, to resume my passion, and now, I’ve won my first wrestling title EVER, and I have NO INTENTION of letting this go! But to prove I won’t be some lazy part timer, as such, I wish to make this statement, at the next house show, The Havoc Open Challenge will start, any and ALL competitors, even ones not signed to this company, from around the globe will be welcome to fight me for this beautiful championship because my mission is to make this title mean something than what the pathetic Randy Angel made it into, turning it into a beer coaster for his next spice. That won’t be what I do, consider this a Championship reboot.”
Havoc began counting his fingers as he listed out some ideas, “Number One, new design, Number two, new strap, thinking a white strap leather to signify the new direction it’s going to become, and finally, side plates with technical wrestling moves to show the proudness of Technical Wrestling. I see a bright future for this belt now that I hold it. I will personally use my money to fund the design changes, if J-ROK Management has a problem with my ideas for an Open challenge for every show and house show, I don’t care. If the fans have a problem, I DON’T CARE!”
He went on to finish, “And if anyone has a problem with me, I. Don’t. Care! Sayōnara!” He dropped the microphone to the floor, ordering the ref to put the belt around his waist.
Match Two: Tag Team Match; 30 Minute Time Limit
Gods of War Vs. Sons of Loki (w/ Kingsley Solomon & Joel Hawkfield)
Gods of War Vs. Sons of Loki (w/ Kingsley Solomon & Joel Hawkfield)
The Gods of war take an early advantage in the match when Fuji and Kaz cut the ring in half while keeping Fenrir in the ring to work him over.
Fenrir fights back, but stereo superkicks from Fuji and Kaz keep him in check. The Gods of War continue to wear away at Fenrir, but he manages to kick out of every pin attempt.
Fenrir turns the tide with a sunset flip power bomb out of nowhere against Kaz. He crawls across the ring and makes the tag at the last moment to Jormungandr!
Jormungandr rushes into the ring, taking the fight to both Kaz and Fuji at the same time before hitting his Sorrowful Rain (bridging dragon suplex) and taking the win for the Sons of Loki.
Fumio Daemura: "(Your winners of this match, Sons of Loki!)"
Match Three: J-ROK Tag Team Match; 30 Minute Time Limit
Haven Kassidy & Espirit Rain Vs. La Hijla de Falcon & Yurei
Haven Kassidy & Espirit Rain Vs. La Hijla de Falcon & Yurei
This is a whirlwind match of lightning fast tags on both sides as they went back and forth in offensive.
The tide turned for one team when Wolverina began "Wolfing Up". She lets out a ear destroying were-wolfish howl and makes a comeback before hitting a 630 degree splash from the top rope for the win
Fumio Daemura: "(Your winners of this match Haven Kassidy and Espirit Rain!)"
Match Four: J-ROK Singles Match; 30 Minute Time Limit
MYOJIN Vs. Zach The Killer
MYOJIN Vs. Zach The Killer
Zach the Killer and Myojin go at it toe to toe.
No really, Zach moves in with his hard hitting moves that aim to do as much damage as possible. Myojin counters the moves with ruthless efficiency to use Zach's own force against him in punishing ways. The two go back and forth with the advantage constantly changing.
When Zach gets the timing of Myojin's counters and begins to be able to hit his own moves again, Myojin changes tactics to go from a technical wizard to a high flying daredevil to throw Zach off of his game.
Myojin hits his Falling from Heaven (imploding 450 splash) to win the match.
Fumio Daemura: "(Your winner of this match... MYOJIN!)"
We see white noise on the screen before the owner of J-ROK appears. it seems something important is coming!
J-ROK Owner: "(The IJWF Board has informed me we need an IJWF Tag Team Title defense soon. So next month, we'll host a tag team title match for the IJWF Tag Team Titles. It'll feature Animus defending against Dodo-A-Gogo, and a representative of the IJWF promotions in LAW's Dynamic Duo, JET's Yuki Takikawa and Machiko Hasegawa, as well as Suplex Murder Party of Rose City. This will be a 5 Team Gauntlet Match with the winner going on to winning the IJWF Tag Team Titles.)"
we can hear the fans in attendance clap and cheer the announcement.
J-ROK Owner: "(Also, we'll host a Five Burrows Wrestling World Championship Match next month as Samantha Anderson-Tolson comes back to Japan before their Hiatus ends and defends her championship against a man who beat her last month, Carnivore. This and much more will take place, till next time take care.)"
Match Five: SKY Force Best of 5 Series Match 4 of 5; J-ROK Tag Team Match; 30 Minute Time Limit
IZM & Wolf Fang Ayame Vs. SKY Force (Nausicaa Suzuki & Shizuku Yamamoto)
IZM & Wolf Fang Ayame Vs. SKY Force (Nausicaa Suzuki & Shizuku Yamamoto)
Psycho KGB: "(This is the 4th match in the best of five series for SKY Force. One more win is all they need to earn their shot at the tag team titles.)"
this was a pretty solid matchup between all four women. the debuting IZM would be glad to finally get her hands on SKY Force after months of them messing with her backstage. Wolf Fang and IZM would work well together considering how new of a duo they are, but early on it'd be SKY Force taking control of the match. Nausicaa would keep Ayame down till she got a hot tag and IZM would get her much deserved revenge, winning the match with a Queen's Road to Heaven, a argentine backbreaker into a german suplex hold.
Fumio Daemura: "(Your winners of this match, IZM and Wolf Fang Ayame!)"
Match Six: J-ROK Singles Match; 30 Minute Time Limit
Sanada Inoki Vs. Mayumi Kurokawa
Sanada Inoki Vs. Mayumi Kurokawa
Psycho KGB: “(A big match between two feuding stables tonight folks.)”
MUSHI: “(Kado and PURE have been at each others throats since Olympia fought for the Visual Kei Championship.)”
The match would start with Inoki taking charge of the match at first by laying into Mayumi with a serious of stiff punches and kicks. Mayumi answers back with a series of shoot kicks and forearms and nails the Eye of the Storm (Palm Strikes, followed by a Sinning Backfist, and finished with a Jumping High Knee). Inoki would be dazed by this as Mayumi goes for the Super Cyclone (Tornado Kick) and covers only for a two count.
Inoki gets up and begins a serious of strikes once more and manages to laid a stiff Lariat at the end of the barrage. Mayumi is laid out and Inoki goes to the second rope looking for the Killer Knee (Second Rope Diving Knee Drop), but Mayumi manages to move out of the way just in time and quickly beams Inoki with the Ame-no-Tataku (High Speed Roundhouse Kick) and follows that up with the Super Cyclone (Tornado Kick). Mayumi quickly covers and gets the three count winning the match.
Fumio Daemura: “(Your winnes of this match, Mayumi "OMI" Kurokawa!)”
After the match Inoki gets up and has a thousand yard stare on his face. He looks lost and as he leaves the ring you can tell he isn't himself and is a trance.
Main Event: J-ROK New Wave Championship Match; J-ROK Singles Match; 60 Minute Time Limit
Brendan Harding Vs. Momoko Honda(C.)
Brendan Harding Vs. Momoko Honda(C.)
Psycho KGB: “(Tonight we see Brendan Harding face off against Momoko Honda after an impressive showing in the King of Hokkaido Tournament last month. But unlike many opponents in that tournament he’s facing one of the other two people who are undefeated in J-ROK.)”
MUSHI: “(The other two being Visual Kei Champion STRiFE and King of Hokkaido Brad Swann. Very good company to be in and very very dangerous opponents to fight. Honda has been champion since December 28th of last year when she beat Blake Belladonna in SSS’ last show. Tonight she looks to keep her belt and keep making history.)”
Fumio Daemura: “(This match is set for one fall and set for a sixty minute time limit. This match is for the J-ROK New Wave Championship! Introducing first the challenger, in the blue corner, standing in at 6’2 and weighing in at 220 pounds from Camden, London, England, accompanied to the ring by Roza Pavlichenko, he is “Dr.Zen” Brendan Harding!)”
Fumio Daemura: “(And his opponent in the red corner standing in at 5’1 and weighing in at 114 pounds, from Kyoto, Japan, she is the current REIGNING DEFENDING J-ROK New Wave Champion with 10 defences so far, she is “The Shining Star” Momoko Honda!)”
Both opponents stare each other in the eye as the referee holds up the belt and the bell soon rings after. The biggest match in the short career of Brendan Harding is about to begin. Both lock up, the more experienced Honda taking full control early on. Stopping any and every attempt he’d make at trying to take over.
Honda would keep in a headlock for the opening of the match, rolling him over and now both on the ground. She keeps the headlock in tight, making it harder for him to breath. He eventually musters up some strength to lift up his smaller opponent. Back on their feet now, but still in the headlock he lifts her up again and hits her with an atomic drop. She keeps the headlock in tight as he lifts her again. This time she lets go and flips over behind him.
She tries to lift him up for a German, but he blocks it and gets behind her. He goes for a german suplex of his own and she lands on her feet. Honda runs the ropes and goes for a huricarana. He stops her, holding her still and pulling her up to a powerbomb position. She starts punching him hard in the face and scratching at his eyes, he loosens his grip, going towards the corner. Momoko gets a footing and flips off his shoulders, now on the middle rope and letting in a flurry of punches. He catches one and pushes her off, sending her flying into the opposite corner.
Harding runs towards the smaller opponent only for her to slip through his legs. He’d grab her foot and slide her back to facing him. She’d go for a kick before being caught. She would flip over and run the ropes. He’d hit her with a rana before she would cartwheel out of it and attempt one of her own. He’d flip onto his feet and run onto the apron. Climbing the ropes and jumping off with a diving shotgun dropkick, driving Momoko into the corner hard and damn near knocking the wind out of her.
She comes bouncing out of the corner and right into a european uppercut. Falling hard, Harding grabs her by the arm and hits her with the SHOOPlex, a snap backdrop driver. He’d go for the pin.
One!
Tw-
No Honda grabs the ropes and breaks the pin.
He grabs her and goes for it again, this time she ducks the attempted grab and rolls him for a schoolgirl, she lets go, rolling him through and hitting him with a superkick. She waits for him to get to a knee before hitting him with a shining wizard Tsunami strike!
MUSHI: “(One! Two! Thre-)”
Psycho KGB: “(Kick out by Harding!)”
Honda picks him backup and starts unleashing a barrage of strikes. He tries to block a few, but most hit. She’d finish it off with a spinning roundhouse kick to his head, knocking him down. She grabs him again preparing for the end. Going for the running headlock driver she hits it!
Psycho KGB: “(Tidal Wave! It’s all over!)”
MUSHI: “(One! Two! Three!)”
Fumio Daemura: “(Your winner of this match and sti- no wait that was not a pin! Folks Brendan Harding was not pinned! This match is continuing!)”
Brendan did indeed stop the pin! His foot on the ropes. The entire KBS Hall is making noise now. Even Momoko is in shock. She moves him away from the ropes this time and climbs to the top. She dives off for that match ending, career ending diving elbow drop she calls the Happy Landing…
Brendan with his feet high in the air, Honda comes crashing elbow and ribs first, bouncing a whole 2 feet off his feet and landing hard on her neck from the landing. She struggles to get up, but gets up nonetheless. She’s soon met with a running headbutt Harding calls the Thannix Cannon. He lifts her up for a reverse suplex and turns it into a tombstone. A combo he calls the Zen Driver. Close to the ropes he makes the pin.
One!
Two!
Three
No Honda with a hand on the ropes. Just barely but still not enough to end things for this match! Both battered and broken manage to get up to their feet using their fighting spirit alone. They scream to the heavens, with the stained glass making a picture perfect backdrop to this war taking place in these halls. They trade strikes, making bloody welts on one another. Both a mess, each strike looks to be weaker than the last. Slower than the one before.
Honda goes for a cross armed neckbreaker, her Earth-Quaker finishing move. Harding stops it and runs her into the corner. He lifts her up to the top. She tries fighting him off, but eats a few european uppercuts. He climbs up to the top with her now. Hitting her with a Zen Driver off the top rope.
Psycho KGB: “(ZEN DRIVER ULTRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!)”
One!
Two!
Threeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A loud thud can be heard. Then silence. Not the bell not the fans. Not even the wrestlers. Everyone in the venue is in pure shock. No one says anything for minutes. Soon a fan or two begins to clap. The bell rings soon after signaling for the finish of the match.
Fumio Daemura: “(Your winner of this match and NEW J-ROK New Wave Champion… Brendan… Harding!)”
The masked owner comes down to the ring to present him with the belt and flowers. They take a picture after the owner shakes his hand and leaves the ring to Brendan who celebrates in an eruption of cheers for the newly minted champion. Momoko still laying on the mat just now gets up to her feet, leaning on the ropes. She walks over and grabs the belt from him. Roza steps in front of them, ready to fight, but she shakes her head no, telling him to turn around. She puts the belt around his waist and shakes his hand before going to the back, leaving him to celebrate.
Psycho KGB: “(What a match folks! We have two new champions and Night of Champions 11 tomorrow.)”
MUSHI: “(A great show here tonight folks, and a huge congratulations to the new New Wave Champion, Brendan Harding!)”
Psycho KGB: “(Tune in next month in August when we’ll have multiple title matches in store for you and the go home show for not only our ppv, Psychedelic Violence; Crime of Visual Shock, but the first week of this years End of Days Tournament! We’ll see you folks next month!)”
