The show started with absolute chaos. Gabriel Blight was minding his own business in preparation for his tag team match later in the evening. As he was limbering up, the Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions; Bloodline walked around the corner in foul moods. Fuentes and Mayorga carried their championship gold with pride over their shoulders and did their best to intimidate the young grappler. Santiago Ortega has taken a bit of a backseat in support of his teammates who hold the richest tag team prize in NPW - but seemed eager to put himself back into the fold as of late. When the three men approached Blight, it was clear that there were looking to intimidate him, and to his credit, he stood his ground.
When Blight refused to bend his knee and bow to them, Ortega lost his cool and started to assault Blight. As Feuntes and Mayorga shouted encouragement, Ortega forced Blight head into the cement wall near the locker room area. As Blight crumpled to the ground, Ortega continued his assault with a nasty barrage of strikes from the top position. Blight soon stopped responding, and appeared to be out cold.
Lee Stevens was within ear shot of the commotion, and arrived on the scene to see what the noise was all about. When he arrived, he saw the Bloodline stable mocking Blight, who wasn't moving an inch. Stevens called for the medics, as Ortega slowly backed away. Mayorga was about to lunge at Stevens, but Fuentes held him back, saying that the damage was done, and that Mayorga should keep all of his energy for their match later on in the show.
Stevens seemed concerned for the wrestler he was set to team with against Spin Cycle - and as the camera closed in, things weren't looking good for Gabriel Blight. When the medics arrived, they started working on Blight, hoping to help him regain consciousness.

[Gus Arnold's office.]
Gus seemed a little on edge, and he might not even be aware of what just took place between Bloodline and Gabriel Blight. Instead, Gus was standing with Liam Beesley, the man he has entrusted with running his warehouse, and carrying the honour of coach and trainer.
Gus confirmed to Liam that Gordon Carlson wasn't cleared to compete tonight, and that the doctor was holding him out of action for 30 days. Which also meant, Gordon wouldn't be able to compete at this years August on the Atlantic show, let alone in tonight's main event.
Liam said that he was proud of how Gordon handled himself in Mexico, and that he felt he was easy to work with during the lead up to the event. Gus then said that Carlson had made arrangements for someone that he knew and trusted to take his place in the Main Event of tonight's show.
Beesley responded that he thought that was high praise coming from someone of Gordon's mettle. Gus agreed, and said that he had also heard great things about this competitor, but he needed to be sure that he was in the building, so that he could confirm his desire to compete.

20 Minute Time Limit
Henri Bryndisarson vs. Rudy Palmateer
--
This contest was being billed as two bulls, ready to lock horns with one and other. Rudy Palmateer has the local reputation of being someone not to be trifled with. The same could be said for Henri and he's proven it with his breakthrough victory in the Battle Royal a month ago. Henri took the fight to Palmateer early and often in this contest. Anytime Palmateer looked to have an answer for the onslaught, Henri would find a brilliant way of using his wrestling knowledge to keep Palmateer off balance and inevitably, regain control of the situation.
As the match continued, it appeared as though Rudy was getting slower, while Henri wasp picking up the pace. Henri slapped a cobra clutch submission on Rudy, which Rudy wasn't ever able to break free from. Henri had it synched in tight, and clearly had no plans of letting go. We watch the natural progression as Rudy started to fade away, and stopped struggling. The referee was in position to check on him, and when he raised his arm and let it drop three times, the referee called for the bell to award the match to Henri.
Winner: Henri Bryndisarson via Cobra Clutch submission (6:14)
This is where Henri asked for a mic, and said it was going to take someone bigger and badder than Rudy Palmateer to slow him down. In fact, he said that he wasn't looking forward to having the wrestle Gabriel Blight at August on the Atlantic either, as he didn't seem thrilled as the prospect of squashing a fighter that he had a size advantage over. Henri said he was in Northern Pro Wrestling to prove that he was at the top of the food chain, and that he believed in the old adage 'the bigger they are, the harder they fall'.
[Boom.]
[Joe Ghaven.]
[Ethan Mills.]
Ethan had a mic in hand and said that he couldn't help but overhear Henri, and thought that this would be the perfect opportunity for him to introduce his client to the NPW Roster. Ethan said that the man behind him was "Iron Bear" Joe Ghaven, and you wouldn't be able to find anyone bigger if you tried.
The camera panned back to showcase the massive "Iron Bear" who stood nearly seven feet and weighed north of four hundred pounds. Joe stood there with his arms crossed, staring a hole through Henri.
Ethan said that since Henri was looking for a bigger challenge at August on the Atlantic, and since their schedule was completely clear on that date - Ethan suggested that Henri put his money where he mouth was, and accepted the challenge of the "Iron Bear."
Henri stood tall and said that he would be happy to 'welcome' Joe to Northern Pro Wrestling, and do so at August on the Atlantic.
Ethan smiled, knowing that this would be a great opportunity for his client to get off to a fast start in Northern Pro, by being included in the August on the Atlantic event.

[Backstage.]
[Willard Manchester.]
Manchester was preparing himself for later on in the show. Manchester had issued an open challenge at the last Northern Pro event, to which Gus Arnold said he would provide a wrestler from Canada that Willard hadn't competed against as of yet.
[Liam Beesley.]
This was the first time that these two men were face to face since their alliance slowly faded away earlier this year. Willard seemed obsessed with regaining the North American Cruiserweight Championship, and some of his antics seemed to fall out of favour with Liam - who had decided to use his knowledge for the greater good, and accept Gus' offer to help him train the younger generation.
We could feel the tension between the two of them, as Manchester snarked at Liam, asking what he was doing there. Liam responded that this was the first time that the two of them had been in the same building together in 2020, and thought it was the 'right thing to do' to come over and say hello.
Manchester said that he didn't need Liam's approved, or his greeting. Willard said that Liam forgot where he came from, and that if he was content to become a trainer for the rest of his 'prime years' then Manchester was wrong about him. Liam said that he didn't owe him an explanation, but said that he wanted him to know that he was hoping for the best for him as his career progressed.
Manchester said that he was confident in his abilities, even more so today than when he was the North American Cruiserweight Champion - and that his 'open challenge' was his way of remaining the world that he's still at the very top of the food chain.
Liam said he has never doubted Manchester's abilities in the ring, but some of his poor choices over the course of their partnership lead Liam to seek other avenues in the sport. But nevertheless, Liam said he still considered Manchester a brother, even if the feeling wasn't mutual.
This is when Liam gracefully left Manchester to contemplate what he just said. Manchester said that he hoped one day that the 'killer' in Liam would be brought back to life once again.

[Gus Arnold's Office.]
[Lee Stevens.]
Lee informed Gus that Gabriel Blight was on his way to the hospital to be examined after the attack put on him by Bloodline. Lee seemed fired up, and was looking to avenge what he saw take place. Gus tried to calm him down, and said that Bloodline was going to be in tough against Griffith, KUMA, Erickson and The 4th member of them later on.
Lee then asked what he was supposed to do, now that Gabriel wasn't able to compete. Gus told him that he would be wrestling Reggie Taylor, one on one.
--
[In the ring.]
[Willard Manchester.]
Manchester cut a promo about his open challenge, and how he dared anyone who believed in themselves enough to take on the best Cruiserweight in North America to come on down and make the match at August on the Atlantic Official.
[Boom.]
[WHAT!?]
[That's...]
His dark hair covered some of the features on his face. He flipped his hair back to show the camera who he was.
[SOLOMON GRAHAM!]
This man needs no introduction, as he's proven himself to be one of the best wrestlers in Canada for years! Manchester seemed a little confused at first, perhaps not knowing much about the man who has seemingly accepted his open challenge for 'AOTA'.
'Sol' entered the ring, and put Manchester over as a great 'former' champion. Sol referred to him as 'Willie' which seemed to irk Manchester, and had him considering his options in regards to taking the fight to Sol right then and there. Graham said that he felt he was the best wrestler under 225 pounds in Canada, and he felt he had proven it everywhere except Northern Pro Wrestling. Sol said that these types of challenges are what he lives for, as he looks to add the biggest names possible to his legacy - and that Manchester wasn't going to be the last, but he was going to be 'next.'
Manchester took a step forward, seemingly trying to see if he could shake Graham's confidence, but he found out quickly that this wasn't going to happen. As the two men stood face to face in the middle of the ring, Gus Arnold made his way to the top of the ramp and said a few words.
Gus reminded Manchester that he was the one who asked for this, and that he obviously doubted the fact that Gus had connections beyond just the Maritimes. Gus aid that Solomon Graham has proven to be one of the baddest men to walk the aisle in Ontario and Quebec for quite a long time. While Sol's contract is with the FullMetal Wrestling Alliance, that Sol would be touring Northern Pro Wrestling for the next little while. Gus said he was happy to have Solomon on the roster, and believed that the match at August on the Atlantic between the two of them could quite easily steal the show. Gus then put his official stamp on the contest, making it official.
Manchester dipped out of the ring, feeling a little blindsided by the chain of events. Perhaps Solomon Graham was someone he knew, or didn't know... but either way, he was someone who wasn't going to be intimidated by him.

Singles Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Reggie Taylor vs. Lee Stevens
--
After what had transpired earlier in the evening, Gus switched the tag team contest between Stevens and Spin Cycle, to a 1 on 1 affair. Stevens was on fire throughout the contest, and seemed to be using the spirit of his fallen compadre to his advantage. Any time Reggie Taylor thought he could slow Stevens down, he was sorely mistaken.
Zeze Taborda made his way to ringside during the contest and attempted to distract Stevens on multiple occasions. The referee didn't take kindly to Taborda's antics, and let him know about it. Stevens would then find himself at the mercy of Taylor and Williams in some 2 on 1 double teaming behind the referee's back.
Taylor attempted to put Stevens away with a running DVD, but Stevens slipped out the back door and delivered a masterful super kick that was shot out of a cannon. Lee then climbed to the top rope with ease, before executing a nasty frog splash. His momentum kept him forcefully on top of Taylor, and the referee was in position to count to 3.
Winner: Lee Stevens via Frog Splash (8:22)
--
Stevens shot up after the pinfall, and made a move towards Taborda on the outside of the ring. These two men were set to settle their differences at August on the Atlantic in a fall count anywhere match. Taborda thought better of engaging, and backed his way up the incline, and headed into the back.
--
[Backstage.]
Liam Beesley caught up with Willard Manchester who seemed to be a mix of emotions after his confrontation with Solomon Graham earlier in the evening. Liam proposed that Manchester allow him to help get him prepared for his match with Graham at AOTA.
Manchester said that Liam had gone soft, and that he wasn't interested in his advice. Manchester said he was doing better than ever before, and that he was going to prove that without anyone's help.

[Locker Room Area.]
Dusty Griffith and KUMA stood side by side, looking the part of two men you wouldn't want to mess with. It didn't take long before Ralph Erickson walked into the screen shot. Dusty took the lead as he often does, and asked Erickson if he had heard who their partner would be in the 8 man tag team match. Erickson said that he hasn't heard from Gordon in over a week, as he was too focused on Night of Champions and chasing down his dream of becoming the X*Crown Champion.
Dusty said that Gordon had nothing to be ashamed of, and he did us all proud. Erickson said that he lost on the outside of the ring, and the new X*Crown Champion is the one who pinned him, so he would be in line for a future opportunity he reckoned.
[LYNX!]
The masked man who made his name overseas crept into the shot. It took a moment, but everyone stopped what they were doing, and acknowledged his presence.
KUMA asked who he was, and what he wanted.
Through his mask, LYNX said that he was going to be the 4th member of their team, and that Gordon had entrusted him with the task. Erickson questioned how he knew Gordon, to which LYNX responded that they had both turned some of the promotions in Japan a few years back. LYNX said that it was Gordon who suggested that he join Northern Pro Wrestling, and that he was there to prove himself as a valued member of the roster.
Dusty looked him up and down, before nodding in approval. Lynx you say? Welcome aboard.
KUMA patted him on the shoulder, while Erickson was still trying to make sense of everything.

[The other locker room..]
[Bloodline.]
[The Shooters Club.]
There was too much BRAVADO in one room, as both teams bartered with the other on how they should proceed in this contest. Fuentes eventually piped up and said that he and Mayorga were the Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions, they were the defacto leaders of the team and that Fredericks and Romance would be listening to them. The shooters club members looked at each other, and you could see that it was taking their best efforts not to explode into a fist fight after the degree of disrespect they were being shown.
Santiago Ortega was there was well, and we closed in on a shot of his knuckles, which were still covered with Gabriel Blight's blood from earlier in the evening. Ortega was really feeling himself, and threatened Fredericks, insinuating that if they didn't hold up their end of the bargain, they would have hell to pay.

8 Man Tag Team Match
30 Minute Time Limit
Dusty Griffith/KUMA/Erickson/Lynx vs. Fuentes/Mayorga/Fredericks/Romance
--
The word combustible comes to mind when this scenario unfolded before our eyes on the broadcast. The hero's had no issues maintaining their respect for one and other and showed some solid chemistry in the process. KUMA wanted to get his hands on his former teammates, and as soon as Lynx had Fredericks in a compromising position, he obliged, allowing the hulking Canadian Grizzly to get some much needed revenge on one of his tormentors. KUMA and Dusty showed some great collaboration as well, as they look to build some trust within their newly formed team.
Erickson seemed a little out of place in this contest, not having Carlson at ringside either with him or against him - but he didn't factor much into the end result. As Feuntes and Mayorga continued to criticize and look down upon their shooters club teammates, enough was eventually enough, as Fredericks and Romance decided to leave the ring area, and force Bloodline to fend for themselves.
KUMA wasn't going to allow that to happen, so he dropped off the apron, and chased Fredericks and Romance back to the locker room. This ended up putting Bloodline at a 3 on 2 disadvantage, as Dusty Griffith opted to stay at ringside, looking to get his hands on Fuentes, who had been a thorn in his side for months.
Ortega was threatening to jump into the match to make it three on three, so Lynx decided to meet him on the outside of the ring, and the two of them were wrestling away. The legal men at the time were Dusty Griffith and Manuel Mayorga.
Griffith used his strength and strong style background to hammer Mayorga senseless. Fuentes looked apprehensive about entering the ring, knowing full well that the 'Wild Bronco' wasn't to be tested.
Lynx seemed to have gotten the best of Ortega on the outside, as things were literally starting to crumble for Bloodline. They had started off the evening fierce and dominant, and were now finding themselves on the receiving end of things at every turn. Fuentes finally decided to get into the ring behind Dusty's back, but Lynx cut him off and drop kicked him out of the ring.
This left Dusty in a dominant position, and he executed his patented Back Drop Driver on Mayorga for the finish.
WInners: Lynx, Erickson, KUMA & Dusty Griffith via Backdrop Driver (13:44)
KUMA came back to ringside to celebrate with his teammates, as Dusty Griffith secured the victory for his team. The International Superstar heaped praise to Lynx for his efforts in the match, noting that he played a key role in the victory.
The final shot of the evening were of the Hero's with their arms raised in the middle of the ring.
The show started with absolute chaos. Gabriel Blight was minding his own business in preparation for his tag team match later in the evening.
