Another "EFED" I'd try is a Fight Club in the Altered Carbon universe. Where people can get re-sleeved if they get killed in a fight. Where winners get better sleeves and where losers get re-sleeved into characters they don't want.

The anime movie is great too.

Well I am currently considering either: A) Bringing Suzuki Blitz Wrestling back from the dead... B) Making a small fed where every match takes place in a steel cage C) A mma fed, though I know nout about professional mma xD D) Making a fed where every show takes place inside a fictional night club No matter the option it would be a small fed based out of one arena with fortnightly results and a 1000 max word limit for RPs while I'd add in a shadow roster to help fill out the show until enough people join so that I can slowly write said "roster" out. We did this in SEC (SSS & KSW combined). Kudo-Shuto Warzone, it was all cage fights and done in shitty warehouses and stuff. Should be in the archives if you want some inspiration

I keep coming back to the idea of running feds and keep havin to talk myself out of it lol.
As much as I loved running Empire, AWF and PWA, running "straight" feds can get stale pretty quick. I think I have the most fun with feds (or ideas for feds) that have a gimmick.
I'd really love to go back and give BYOB another shot. I felt like it was something different. Not for being a backyard fed but one where it was very openly staged, with the competitors being a bunch of grown men who were really just "playing wrestler" and taping it, but still working themselves over in the process as they let their angles get between them in real life. (See: Mack Daddy kills Plank and Trevor beats him up at work, causing Mack to take out a restraining order and make Trevor do commentary from his attic)
I felt like I never got into the real meat of that fed, the idea being that shows would take place in different wrestlers' houses from time to time.
I also have ideas for an old school style of fed, like NWA is right now, though I think someone else is using that idea.
And I've got a similar idea to Nausicaa, a nightclub wrestling fed. Jackson Steele's XXX Wrestling club.
Thing is, I make graphics up for these ideas I have and then... Just get bored lol. Or I can't bring myself to commit to doing it all again.
One more thing that's been going round in my head though is a change in writing style. I struggled to make things interesting with a move-by-move account of matches and "script" style dialogue. I always admired Mad Dog's matches written in straight prose. If I tried a fed again, I'd probably do that. I already started transitioning with my last few roleplays for Steele and Rocco Rose. I like the idea of being able to jump in and out of the heads of wrestlers or the commentary team while a match is going on. Tell the story, rather than just a list of moves with a conclusion.

Back in my early roleplaying days I found this weird fantasy online place (can't remember the name) where your character was based around three things-
Race: literally could be a werewolf, half-dragon, vampire, elemental, elf, dwarf etc. Anything you think you can write about confidently.
Location: we had a fictional map/ world and each place had certain 'rules' but more so the things you fought were based off your home.
Traits: some had special powers like elves, others could summon bats like vampires, werewolves regenerated health, hybrids could do weird stuff etc.
You roleplayed as your character for a month and at the end of the month each character got a 'chapter' in their story that was them in combat. Could be with another player or could be against something the writers came up with. It was always very fun to read though, and never lead into titles or that. It was all just about the really wild reading material.
Super nerdy I know, but my half-human mage, half-werewolf could fuck shit up. Basically a fire breathing werewolf. Man I miss that nerd fest.

] I make graphics up for these ideas I have and then... Just get bored lol. I do the same with characters, think up and idea and know it'll be awesome, but then I make up graphics and search picbases and suddenly I'm like 'meh'. I'd rather them die as ideas on my laptop than after a couple shows, and you have to face the shame of knowing you got bored.

Wow, I'd love an Altered Carbon style Fed with an added twist that the sleeve also comes with a personality. Altered Carbon is interesting because we get to see a variety of different actors playing the same character but here, physical looks are unimportant as efeds are text base.
What if you were sleeved in say John McClane (die hard) and you'd have to RP as him to fight in a match where if you win, you can choose a better character to re-sleeve into?
The possibilities would limitless and it can be set in a futuristic world or fantasy world (or both). But it would have to be angle and RP based like Malev suggested his open world one, for it to work, to make it fun, and by seasons.

The spin-offs in videogames and media I'm fine with, but not the actual game. Writing about it though seems to work for me. Maybe I just like writing over anything, or maybe, just maybe, I don't want to come over and play wizard-sticks in your wifes basement. Stop asking me.

I don't know how open you'd be to co-run a Fed. But If you like writing and Hades is genius creating gameplay modes and love Fantasy/SciFi stuff. Maybe you two should work together on a seasonal efed.

Thanks lot for the vote of confidence but I'm done trying to create something here.
Demigods and GOTU are clear examples of people not wanting to have anything to do with my ideas, but if you like the Altered Carbon idea Guill, you can have it and run it with Hyperion if you like.
Besides I'm getting hammered with music production requests, so work is gonna take over my life again soon.

Sowy. I know you tried hard to make something work here.
I do like the idea of co-running an Altered Carbon seasonal efed, but if I did it, it would be in an unrealistic setting to spark imagination and break barriers.
And matches wouldn't be written like efeds normally do with a move set, finishers and color commentators. It would be like Hyperion suggested it, telling a story as they fight.
The story would be around a league, where fighters get the chance to fight everyone accumulating points for every match won.
