To Steele’s point, I’m less enamoured with a great move set and writing a five star match based on move to move transitions. Sure, some of that will be written about, but I prefer to rehash where the character has been, and where they’re going. Is easy for a reading to skim Or forget what they saw the previous few shows, so why not remind them why this match/conflict is important.
I’ve been writing results in recap form, and it helps with burnout. If I sit down to write, I feel less pressure to hit everyone’s fav moves and carry on writing 3 TV matches per show... that’s the way I would burnout. I thought about writing results like you would see on a website from a fan’s perspective who was at the show.
Or even results like purolove.com for a Japanese fed.
For big events I’ll sprinkle in something fresh to stand out like a pre-show or say a “lethal lottery” draw show with commentary etc.
Either way, these are some of my thoughts. Keeping things to 1000 words is also a means not to put pressure on the handler to produce long roleplays consistently if that’s what burns them out and also pushes quality. If you have more to say, let’s use it on a show or in the reaction section.

] I make graphics up for these ideas I have and then... Just get bored lol. I do the same with characters, think up and idea and know it'll be awesome, but then I make up graphics and search picbases and suddenly I'm like 'meh'. I'd rather them die as ideas on my laptop than after a couple shows, and you have to face the shame of knowing you got bored. Lol yep. I've got ideas floating around for a badass old dude character, a Young Bucks-esque tag team, a complete comedy character, a reboot for Rocco Rose... but I know that as soon as I start to try and flesh them out and actually RP for them, I'll start to flounder and get tired of it.

My problem is motivation, I just don't have enough time usually. I'll pop up some great ideas when I have a moment to daydream but actually sitting down to write is tough, knowing its a whole evening or so to get it all done.
When I retire from real life I'll run a fed and a couple of characters. Gimme like...thirty-ish years.

...so D&D I know you, Hype. DD&D feds. because you're a freak. Funnily enough I wasn't a fan of D&D or playing the table-top games like Warhammer. The spin-offs in videogames and media I'm fine with, but not the actual game. Writing about it though seems to work for me. Maybe I just like writing over anything, or maybe, just maybe, I don't want to come over and play wizard-sticks in your wifes basement. Stop asking me. I'm the only one allowed in my wife's basement, if you know what I mean.
