Well Destiny did survive despite the self inflicted bumps in the road. I want to phrase this part with thank you to the players who still are sticking with it. I never meant to cause anyone pain or suffering. I love it just as much as you all do. We have fun yes, but over this last year I feel like I bonded with so many of you who like this old ass shit. Thanks for loving me, and thanks most of all for loving the game.
That being said, we're approaching the end of season 3, and I've been at this hardcore, on my own, for nearly two years. I've given up all but 8 sundays(very rarely a Saturday) to make sure this type of fed never dies. However, it's come to a point where I can't shoulder all this on my own. I need help. If only to give me the odd day off. We all have lives, and while I very much enjoy what destiny is, it's also mentally taxing. Taxing to the point it gets me to blow up on people and take anger out on the very people who have been so supportive of what we do. I can never make up for that, but I realize a change is in order.
So, this is an open call to whoever is willing to help me ref. You will NOT be expected to ref every week, but everyone needs a break every so often. I already have a temp lined up for season 4, but they made it clear it's not forever. They can choose to name themselves if they feel like it. But I also need that extra ref to make sure Destiny outlives my own stay in e-fedding. Its not fair of me to be the only one responsible for keeping dice alive for those players who like it. That isn't even my ego talking, it's being fair to the people who have come week in and week out that supported me when I had basically two people "locked in". Training will be given out to those interested of course. Hit me up on here or discord and we can talk specifics. I love you all.
