Red Bastien has left and EWE board has appointed Manfred Koch as EWE new general manager. He is going to be the authority figure and is understood that the announcers, Manfred Koch and Brian Maxine will play a key role within the company going forward. Manfred Koch already made some changes:
EWE On Your City is now dormant for the next 2 months as the newly appointed General Manager Manfred Koch scheduled a competition to take place within EWE for the next two moths.
This competition will feature several bouts in a round-robin tournament although the number of entrants is still to be announced and the matches. There will be a Men League and a Womens League. With the winner not only gaining the prestige of the tournament but a match for EWE Supreme Title in December at EWE's Rumble (name still to be decided).
OOC: That's right! We will have a competition within EWE. Wrestlers will be split in two blocks and every XHF user-wrestler will enter and some of EWE big names. How many I'm not sure. Which will lead to the question of how I'm going to do this in a sort of entertainment company and figure out results.
As we need to have angles and angles actually play a big part in EWE everyone will throw some promos - in-game, no writing, sorry - This promos will be aided by Manfred Koch and Brian Maxine who will be rated in Microphone and the wrestlers in Entertainment which is a conjunction of skills. The rating of this angles will count towards your overall rating.
Every fights everybody on their block once. The in-ring performance will be counted as a rating as well. The first show results will be decided onn all-time EWE Ratings and afterwards will be the tournament only ratings.
A win gives 2 points a loss 0 points and a draw 1 point but don't expect draws.
Which means we will have a lot of events coming up and everyone participates in them. I will book the tournament now and this 2 months should go quite fas as there is no need for storylines.
Supreme Champion, Finlay won't compete. Tag Champ, Ulf Hermann won't compete. #1 Contender, Rambo won't compete as he will build his match with Finlay at the PrimeTime Wrestling League Final. And Lords of The Ring #2, won't compete either. This wrestlers might have some matches during the competition to keep their momentum and build-up matches that are already schedule for the competition ending big event. All the other events will be free as per usual and with lesser intent.
I think this is a great way to give a "soft reset" after season finale and put everyone where they should be. After the tournament we return to the heavy storyline-based EWE.
