WRESTLER’S BIOGRAPHY
Former AXW original, Swann started out as a blue chip prospect looking for their next big break. Eventually he was kidnapped alongside close friend Kevin Cross and was tortured by (then) AXW enforcer, 'Sheriff Law'. Once they were finally let free, something had snapped inside the prospect... Next thing you know, he turns his back on AXW and becomes the "Icon Protege" underneath the tutelage of XHF legend Bobby Barratt. As his experience grew so did his ego, and following a tag team match with the NAK alongside Barratt, Swann snapped. Sent to the hospital due to a severe concussion, Swann also lost sight of his right eye and a scar cut itself through it - giving him an evil look that he could now never put behind him. It was during this time he called himself "The Iconic Prince" with a second voice implementing itself inside of his scrambled head. Barratt, needing his back protected, dubbed Swann an official Icon - using him during his darkest days.
Then, Swann just disappeared. He came back with a vengeance a few months later, his beard grown out and hair getting longer - under a mask as 'Prince Demonio' in the mysterious faction "HELLBOUND". He swore revenge on Barratt, and in a losing effort to him at AXW's anniversary show [Final Frontier], he was unmasked... Once more going on a hiatus from the wrestling business as a whole.
Just when we thought we had seen the last of such a tormented soul, he returned to the XHF in comedy fed 'Champoon Wrasslin' and declared himself the new owner, having bought a majority stock-hold. He re-dubbed it "Champion Wrestling" and promised to change it from comedy into a serious fed - just one of his new business prospects set to reinvigorate his career once and for all. The insanity inside of him had seemed gone, becoming more intelligent than ever before.
Finally returning to AXW during AXW's Civil War event, Swann won the main event battle royal for a guaranteed shot at the AXW title - changing his status from 'curtain jerker' to 'Main Event player'. Then, with briefcase in hand and more intelligent than ever... He pinned the longest reigning, most dominant Champion in Dreadvan and became the NEW XHF European Champion - holding it for a whopping 151 days.
Following his 100% ownership of CW, and it's eventual close, Swann seemingly left the business to pursue a career in paintings and art. Little did we know it was to help himself in returning to the ring, as the aptly dubbed 'Canvas Connoisseur'. After battling Nelly Angel in a landmine deathmatch at XHF Supremacy, Swann went flying in the air following the explosion and landed 2,287.6 miles away in Seattle. Everything was fine. Everything's fine.
Swann, whilst wrestling in MCCW, appeared in Destiny Wrestling to answer World Champion, Thomas Galloway's, open challenge for a shot at the World title down the line. This match saw a new side of Swann no-one had ever seen before, snapping the leg of Galloway in half - he would later go on to win the match due to Galloway getting disqualified, trying his best to escape Swann's wrath. Two weeks later and Swann had his World title shot, defeating the champion, remaining undefeated, and becoming World Champion for the first ever time. It was around this time he dubbed himself the King of Destiny and formed his own Royal Court of loyal followers, most notably the "Royal Simp" Mike Lio to begin with. His "rule" was challenged by then owner Johnny Bulldog, who demanded a match with the World Champion - title for power. If Swann won, he would become the new owner of Destiny Wrestling, cementing himself as the undisputed King of Destiny and Johnny Bulldog would be forced to join his court - if Bulldog won, Swann was out of the company and he became the new World Champion. However, it wasn't as simple as that. All the odds were against Swann, as Bulldog couldn't get disqualified and could have someone in his corner - whereas Swann could get disqualified and couldn't have anyone in his corner.
Low and behold Swann absolutely squashed Bulldog in the match. Despite all the odds, he won the ownership of DW in dominant fashion, remaining undefeated and World Champion - the true King of Destiny. In turn Bulldog accepted the fate and bent the knee for his new King, ultimately realizing that his power was too great to deny. Bulldog became his loyal Master of Ceremonies. Two more weeks until his reign was challenged again, this time by the former World Champion - Thomas Galloway - who was handpicked by Swann to be his opponent at "The Rhapsody". Galloway accepted the match and put his own terms on the table, it would be an ironman deathmatch - Galloway's unique match that he had never lost in, even going so far as to "kill" the Killer, Killa Kai on one occasion. Swann, with wicked intent, accepted the terms and waited with bated breath to finally oust his rival from his newly acquired Kingdom once and for all.
The match went forth and Swann shocked the world when he absolutely domineered the match-up, winning after knocking Galloway out with a 5-1 lead. Never before had Galloway been put down like that, let alone in his very own match. Swann offered him the chance to bend the knee, join the court and accept Swann's reign as the King of Destiny - but Galloway, stubborn as always, refused and Swann lumped off his head with the patented broad-sword.
The King's reign continued strong until one night, during a 'Kingdom Match' against Anthony Caffrey at Night of Champions 11, Swann was sent flying out of the throne room window - plummeting into a river that seemingly swept away his life, for good. Or, so we thought. Now he is back, a shock return at the J-ROK/FWA Xtraction event saw him come back from the dead with two blind eyes and a raging fury - and, a new contract to the FWA. He would debut for the promotion at FWA Battle For The Arts 2, going on to defeat FWA Professional Wrestling Champion, Duncan Aries, in the main event via submission stoppage - whilst at the same time competing in the XHF's End of Days tournament.
ENTRANCE INFO
THEME SONG - Bohemian Rhapsody
ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION -
'Bohemian Rhapsody' hits the PA as the fans loudly boo in terror. The lights dim black with a spotlight shining lonesomely on the ramp. The venue shakes. Out from the back through clouds of smoke and white strobes arrives King Brad Swann, a white crown upon his head - an evil snarl on his grotesque face. The demonic psychopath slowly strolls down the ramp, hunched over like a gremlin... The single spotlight following his every move. He doesn't look around at the fans, keeping his distance. When he reaches the ringside area he makes a few slow laps of the ring, still just only the spotlight following him.
He eventually walks up the ring steps and enters through the middle rope. The hardcam zooms into his face under the spotlight, the crown shining atop his demonic guise. Slowly he raises his arms out, palms stretched, garnering a loud reception from the live crowd that despise his very persona.
