GIMMICK: There has always been a darkness that has dwelled inside of Roy throughout his entire life, a voice that distorted the frequencies in his mind more so than others. It was an ever persistent entity that seemed to drive Roy into madness. He was once consumed by it and was considered a host for his entity. Through time and mastery though Roy has managed to create a self discipline and tap into this Psychosis that has allowed him to dip into the dark arts. His interaction with the spirits of sorrow have left him in a bit of a mad state, as he is in constant grips with wanting to attain more power to fuel his inflamed desires. He is a derranged entity who has tapped into horror tropes to display a demanted macabre presentation and personality that seems almost supernatural.

Laymens Terms: Doomsayer, prophet of the misfortune that is to come, tells the tale of a sorrow that will swallow the world whole.

APPEARANCE: Mangy, looking at him you would just make you feel grotesque. His grooming habits are unkempt, his body covered in an assortment of tattoos, having two full sleeves and neck tattoos. BIOGRAPHY

Roy Harlowe, the son of Rufus Harlowe a former wrestler who grew prominent in the late 80s, early 90s. After his father peaked he settled down and started a wrestling school. Roy has been around wrestling his whole life, he grew up with it and was given expectations he could never quite meet with his father. Their relationship grew strained as time went on and the insecurity allowed for Roy’s “Demons” to take over as his personal relationships with friends, romantic partners in a toxic manner. It wasn’t until Roy Harlowe ran into Darian “The Portrait” Gray that the true essence of his sorrow manifested into a corporeal form. Becoming the face painted masked wrestler “The Sorrow” he became a living embodiment of his vile emotions and darkness that dwelled within. As time progressed, Roy managed to break free of Darian’s manipulations where he retreated into seclusion. As time went on, Roy learned to control this dark reality that had become his life and found ways to tap into different realms that opened his eyes to a new kind of madness. Finding artifacts from an ancient time long since passed, he has managed to brainwash his former mentor Douglas Greater with the help of an ancient helm that has created a fiercely loyal subordinate. The other artifact was an ancient luchadors mask known as “The Leviathan”, the mask was say to embue that wearer with unbridled rage and limitless reservoirs of strength and vast resources of stamina. Trapping his dead friend’s son in the mask, in hopes of easing Roy’s conquest to glory

ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION:

The heavy drums and guitars blast over the PA system speakers like a series of machine gun fire, the light strobing and flashing white and red, through the darkness and decay of light comes Roy “The Sorrow” Harlowe, his face shrouded in a bloody hockey mask. Roy makes swift motions as he comes traipsing through the back curtain with a devious manner about his body language. He slowly circles his way around the stage before he slowly slithers his steps down the ramp towards the ring. As he passes by audience members, telling them how he feeds off their sorrows and how it gives him strength. Roy dismisses the peons as he makes it to ringside.

Announcer: “Approaching the ring from The Winding Road, weighing in at two hundred and twenty three pounds!! Roy “The Sorrow” Harlowe!!!”

Roy launches onto the apron in a single leap and bounds onto the apron. Swiftly Roy begjns kneeling as he serpentines and slithers over the bottom rope and rolls onto his back. Sitting up and then kicking up in a very fluid motion. Roy circles his hands over his face, removing his bloodied hockey mask and then revealing a menacing twisted grin on his face with a set of wild eyes glaring fiercely into the lens.
