We switch to the back and see Jonnie Valentine helping a limping Syberus into an ambulance, Valentine gets in the back with Syb, a worried look on his face and the door closes and the Ambulance zooms off, lights flashing. We then join Jeremy Tucker and Andrew Fulton at the commentary desk at ringside for the main event.
Jeremy Tucker : Welcome back everyone. Tokyo could not have been more welcoming as we head into our main event. It feels like this Japanese crowd will miss us when the show’s over, but you can tell the expectation is immense and they want to see this title match play out with all their heart.
Andrew Fulton : I have enjoyed the show, but I feel exactly like the crowd. I don’t want to say Sayōnara to this event, but I really want to see this clash pan out. KGB vs The Society always gets spicy. Add the revelation that Syberus and Valentine aren’t in the house to watch Tux and Rally’s backs makes it even more interesting.
[”Circus Apocalypse” by Vermillion Lies begins playing as Armand von Krauss walks out from the back. He looks around at the crowd with an arrogant smirk before lighting up an Egyptian cigarette. He walks down to the ring while smoking his cigarette, soaking in the boos from the crowd. Once he gets down to the ring, he flicks the cigarette butt into the crowd. He steps through the ropes and leans in his corner.]
Frank Salazar :The following contest is scheduled for ONE and is for the SWAT WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! Introducing first … hailing from Cologne, Germany. Coming in at 6’2 and 245 pounds …. Representing the KGB! ARMAND VON KRAUSS!!!
Jeremy Tucker : He looks confident and ready for the battle.
Andrew Fulton : The crazy kraut has an evil, telling smile. He must feel the potential for this to be his night.
We see lotus flying on the Titan-Tron for a few seconds as more and more join in, until day turns to night as the image fades out, and the next image you see is tanks firing in the air, and right after that image we see soldiers walking in unison and that image fades out and another of a huge nuclear explosion as you see nothing but ashes and dust of a city. The lights in the arena go completely dark for a few seconds as it comes back up a blue light is seen up the show of the steps as someone is standing up there wearing a gray hoodie with their head down. As they slowly pick up their head, we can see an intense look in their blue eyes, we see that it is Frostbite. He takes a walk down the steps as fans reached out to touch his hands or his broad shoulders. As he stops midway looking into the crowd as he nods his head as the crowd chants his name. He gets to the bottom of the step, he climbs over the barricade. He quickly takes off his hoodie and hands it over to some fan at ringside. He turns his attention to the ring, his intense blue eyes gleaming. He climbs the steps slowly and deliberately and jumps over the top ropes. He takes a slow walk around the ring, glaring judgingly at the crowd as the lights turns back to normal and his music fades; he is ready for a war.
Frank Salazar : Introducing now, hailing from Boulder, Colorado. Coming in at 6’2 and 225 pounds .... representing the KGB .... The Cold Hearted Bastard .... FROSTBITE!!!
Jeremy Tucker : The tag partners shake hands and begin to stretch out using the ropes waiting for the champions to arrive.
Andrew Fulton : If they want to win this they need to keep the champions from using their advantage as holders, titles don’t change hands on a DQ or count-out. As there’s no love lost here, that might be a big challenge tonight.
Hate or Glory" by Gesaffelstein hits and Rally Jackson makes his way down the ramp way. He is taking his time and looks seriously out of shape, he gets in the ring and struts around in a confident manner and then cracks his own neck and the ref approaches him and starts patting him down.
Frank Salazar : Introducing now, hailing from Rio de Janeiro. Coming in at 6’1 and 300 pounds .... representing the Society of the New Breed .... he is one half of the SWAT World Tag Team Champions and the current SWAT WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!! THE GOLDEN GOD .... RALLY JACKSON!!!
Jeremy Tucker : Rally Jackson is our World Champion and Tag Team Champion holding two titles, when holding one title here in SWAT is impressive enough.
And it’s not the first time he’s held that accolade in recent times. Whilst being Tag Champ Eddie D helped him win The International Title; Eddie D beat him for the same title? Eddie’s actions make absolutely no sense to me.
Andrew Fulton : Eddie couldn’t beat Syberus for it, so why not move the title along to someone you can beat; someone that happened to take a hot mess in your kit bag? Maybe that’s me being cynical.
Jeremy Tucker : And that would be so unlike you…
Andrew Fulton : Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit because it aims to belittle or hurt someone, and to laugh at their expense. They all think I’m the heel at this desk, but they don’t know the real you Jerry. They don’t know the real you.
Tux stands at each side of the top of the ramp for a moment to soak up and encourage the crowd’s cheers. Then, in an ode to his gymnastic ability, he does a cartwheel handspring into a flip down the ramp to start his entrance. He slides into the ring under the bottom rope and climbs the turnbuckle for one last bit of adoration before preparing for the match...
Frank Salazar : Introducing now, hailing from Tokushima, Japan. Coming in at 5’8 and 185 pounds .... representing The Society of the New Breed .... TUXEDO MASK!!!
Jeremy Tucker : The local boy-made-good; the Japanese crowd giving the Tuxedo a hell of a reception here. The titles are being walked around the ring for all the fans to see and the referee calls for the bell.
Frostbite and Rally appear to be starting us off here… Wasting no time Frostbite and Rally lock up… Frostbite slaps Rally in a side headlock… Rally raised his legs up, brings them down fast and uses momentum to roll Frostbite off his feet and pops out of the headlock… Rally throws in some big kicks on Frostbite as he tries to get back to his feet using the ropes… Rally hits Frostbite with a big chop… Rally steps away and gestures at Frostbite to bring it...
Andrew Fulton : Don’t get cocky, there’s still a long way to go...
Jeremy Tucker : Rally and Frostbite lock up.... Rally forces Frostbite into a standing armbar… Frostbite reverses and twists Rally into a wristlock and Rally winces and drops to one knee… Rally powers back up… Rally does a clumsy but effective roll to counter the rotation of the wristlock… snaps free and gets in behind Frostbite with a waist lock… Frostbite turns left and right trying to get out… Rally goes for a German suplex, but Frostbite reaches through his legs, grabs Rally’s left leg, rolls forward and sends Rally sprawling facedown to the mat… Ankle Lock applied! ...Rally gets to the rope and Frostbite drops the hold...
Andrew Fulton : Both men seem to have come to a stalemate and backed off to their partners for advice. Both men tag out and Armand and Tuxedo Mask are tagged in and they pace around each other looking for a weakness…
Jeremy Tucker : Armand and Tuxedo are in a clinch as Armand walks Tuxedo into a neutral corner… Tuxedo manages to twist and force Armand into the corner instead… Tuxedo hits Armand with a back elbow… Irish whips him to the opposite corner and Armand hits the buckles back first… Tuxedo sprints over and dropkicks Armand in the chest! ...crushed in the corner Armand drops, now prone and suffering propped against the bottom rope… Tuxedo gets up and runs to the opposite corner, sprints back in at Armand and hits a huge running knee strike… Tuxedo runs to the opposite corner… sprints towards the corner, hops onto the nearest second rope …. Springboard Legdrop!
Andrew Fulton : But Frostbite has had enough… He runs around the referee’s blindside as the referee is distracted by Rally trying to get into the ring… Frostbite spins Tuxedo Mask around… SNOWSTORM!!! ... (a front brainbuster).
Jeremy Tucker : Hitting his finish this early!? Well that has certainly destroyed Tuxedo’s momentum. Rally pushes past the referee in a fury and stomps on Frostbite as he tries to get back to his feet… Frostbite abandons his efforts to get up and simply rolls to the outside to a chorus of boos…
Andrew Fulton : Tuxedo is barely moving the referee is ordering a furious Rally out of the ring… Armand is gingerly getting up using the ropes after the onslaught he just suffered … Rally thunders down the apron and clotheslines an unsteady Armand back down to the canvas… The referee warns Rally… Rally just smiles, takes a slow walk back to his corner and daintily holds the tag rope with his pinky raised…
Jeremy Tucker : Tuxedo is back on his knees, but struggling as Armand gets back up… Armand shakes out the cobwebs and goes to grab Tuxedo, but he evades the grab… Jaw breaker on Armand!… Tuxedo is unable to get moving again, still recovering from that Snowstorm moments ago… Tuxedo uses the ropes to get up in a neutral corner and checks his head for blood but finds none… Armand is back up holding his jaw, blocking Tuxedo’s path for getting back to Rally for the tag… Tuxedo bounces off the ropes… slides between Armand’s legs to get back to his corner… Tuxedo tags Rally, spins around and punches Armand in the face, but Armand shakes it off like he hadn’t hit him…. Rally pushes Tuxedo out of the way headbutts Armand clean off his feet…
Andrew Fulton : That’s how it’s done. Leave it to the expert. The World Champ ups the brutality…
Jeremy Tucker : Armand has rolled to the outside holding his head and looks in some pain… Armand is gestures up the ramp? What’s he doing?
Andrew Fulton : James Fierce and The Compton Colossus Bruno are on their way down here!? … Rally just laughs at them… Quite rightly… The KGB can’t win if these guys get involved it’ll be a DQ… Fierce and Bruno are checking on Armand as Rally goes to the first rope and shouts mockingly at them all…
Jeremy Tucker : Out of nowhere Tuxedo planchas off Rally's shoulders and smashes back first into all three of them on the outside!!!! Tuxedo’s impact sends them all sprawling into the railings… The crowd are eating this up…. (The crowd start a chant of “Tux-eed-o”)
Andrew Fulton : Fierce and Bruno are tempted to retaliate but Armand and the referee warn them off… Tuxedo Mask seems to have knocked the wind out of himself in the dare devil move, but is quickly recovering… Fierce and Bruno retire to the KGB corner on the outside as Tuxedo rolls Armand back in the ring and Rally stomps on Armand as he enters… Frostbite is yelling encouragement at Armand to get back for the tag, but that’s going to be easier said than done…
Jeremy Tucker : Rally scoop slams Armand down… tags in Tuxedo and walks over and laughs in Frostbite’s face… Frostbite stays in his corner, disciplined…. Suddenly Frostbite tries to take a swing at Rally… but Rally steps out of the way and laughs some more as the referee demands that he leaves…
Andrew Fulton : Meanwhile… Tuxedo Mask has slapped Armand in the TUXMISSION!!! (Dragon sleeper spider crab)
Jeremy Tucker : … Rally grabs an exposed leg and does a heel hook!!! The referee is still telling Rally to leave but Rally is ignoring him… Armand could tap right here!?
Andrew Fulton : This is why Bruno and Fierce are here… They’ve got the referee’s attention as Fierce walks up the ring steps and threatens to get in there… The referee wants to check on Armand but Fierce has commanded Tuxedo’s, Rally’s and the ref’s attention… Frostbite has snuck in the ring and football punt kicked Rally in the back of the head!!! Rally drops the heel lock and rolls away… Tuxedo is eyes closed whining and begs Armand to submit… Frostbite jumps to the second rope in The Society corner and drops onto the unaware Tuxedo Mask with a fist to the face!!… Armand is finally free from the hold as the Referee finally gets some order…
Jeremy Tucker : Fierce has given up his pretence of getting in the ring… Rally has retired to his corner… Armand is face down and struggling centre of the ring… Tuxedo Mask is clutching his face not far from his corner and Frostbite is stood in his corner as if nothing ever happened…
Andrew Fulton : Not sure this changes much… Armand has taken too much pain here… This has probably only postponed the inevitable... Tuxedo wisely tags Rally back in… Rally goes to grab the struggling Armand …but out of nowhere! …with the last of his energy… Armand stumbles and dives to make the TAG!!!!
Jeremy Tucker : Frostbite bounds in there and tomahawk chops Rally right between the eyes and stuns him… winds back and hits Rally with a huge chop and Rally is rocked onto his heels… Frostbite with a standing drop kick! …And Rally falls back into a neutral corner slumped back first into the turnbuckles… Frostbite heads for Tuxedo Mask stood in his corner… Frostbite hops to the second rope… Springboard Dropkick! …and Tuxedo drops to the arena floor… Frostbite ruling the roost here…
Andrew Fulton : Frostbite goes back to Rally, but Rally is back up and in a defensive stance… Rally swings a big right, but Frostbite ducks it… Rally swings a huge spinning left kick but Frostbite evades it and gets in behind Rally… waist lock from behind… Release German suplex!!! Rally rolls back to his feet with the momentum of the throw… Frostbite follows up with a sweet super kick!!! …for the uninitiated amongst you he calls that combo the Rebecca Plunge and Frostbite covers…
………...1
…………2
Tuxedo Mask dives in to make the save…
Jeremy Tucker : The referee argues with Tuxedo about the interference in the count… Tuxedo dismisses the referee’s protests and heads back to his corner… Rally is back on his feet and looks set on making the tag… Frostbite tries to stop Rally with a quick kick and a chop to the chest, Rally feels it but keeps pressing back towards The Society corner… Frostbite goes to deliver a double chop on Rally, but Rally hoists Frostbite up in a bearhug, pauses a second and runs Frostbite back first into his corner and tags in Tuxedo…
Andrew Fulton : Rally lifts Frostbite out of the corner and maintains the bearhug as the referee tells him to leave the ring… Tuxedo hit the ropes… Tuxedo leaps and lariats Frostbite out of Rally’s bearhug… Rally heads back to his corner, red chested from that last Frostbite chop…
Jeremy Tucker : Tuxedo puts Frostbite in a figure 4 leg lock! …Frostbite is in pain, centre of the ring, trying to play it down, but hitting the mat in frustration… Frostbite tries to turn the leg lock over to change the pressure, but Tuxedo forces it back down… Will Frostbite tap? Will Armand dive in there?
Andrew Fulton : Frostbite looks at Armand and looks like he’s telling him to stay out?! …Frostbite tries again, and this time successfully turns the hold over!!! Now it is Tuxedo in pain and Frostbite pulls himself and Tuxedo hand over hand towards his own corner and makes the tag!!!
Jeremy Tucker : Rally was distracted by insults from Bruno and slow to spot the reversal and the creep towards the tag but is bounding across the ring now too late… Armand meets him with a kick to the crotch… Rally doubles up in pain and Armand hits a pulling piledriver! …Armand sits across the back of Rally’s shoulders and ground pounds his head as the referee complains about the closed fists… Tuxedo has freed himself from a Frostbite’s legs… Tuxedo and Frostbite drag themselves back up… Tuxedo lunges at Frostbite but Frostbite has other ideas … HELL FROZE OVER!!! (flip over piledriver following up with a hard knee to the face)
Frostbite rolls to the outside and speaks with Fierce and Bruno quickly… Tuxedo looks concussed as Armand crosses to follow up… Armand grabs Tuxedo and… DRILLTIP!!! (Power bomb position into a freefalling piledriver)
Andrew Fulton : Rally is about to get back to his feet and stop any pin attempt, when behind the referee’s back, Bruno and Fierce drag Rally out of the ring by the feet and down to the arena floor…
Andrew Fulton : Beautiful… beautiful timing… the referee has no idea and is already down and counting for the cover… for the kids at home… That there is exactly how to cheat and face no consequences…
………...1
………………2
……….. 3!!!!!
Jeremy Tucker : We have new Tag Team Champions!!!
Andrew Fulton : And now comes the pain… Frostbite is already under the ring apron handing out chairs to Bruno, Fierce and Armand… Tuxedo is struggling to get up in the ring whilst Frostbite and Fierce have already delivered a chair gut shot each on Rally on the outside… Bruno rolls Rally back in the ring and all four men are in the ring, with chairs in hand, ready to rain down some extra salt in the fresh wound of losing the tag titles…
Jeremy Tucker : What is this? RADU MATEI!!!! He’s on the ramp and this Japanese crowd have popped the roof off in response!? Radu Matei is coming down here armed with a chair to make the save? There is no love lost between Radu and the Society, nor he and the KGB …
Andrew Fulton : Armand makes the call for the guys to bail to the outside, to spread out and not give Radu too many targets and free momentum… Smart move as Radu hits the bottom of the ramp heading for the ring… Bruno tries to slow Radu’s progress and gets a chair jab to the ribs for his trouble and Radu keeps coming… As Rally gets to his feet Armand strikes Rally with a brutal blow to the back of the head that floors him and dives out of the far side of the ring as Radu slides in…. Radu slides in the ring and is holding the KGB off it appears with the chair … Rally starts to come too and turns around holding his head from the chair shots and see’s Radu there holding the chair and confronts him ….
Jeremy Tucker : This doesn’t look good, Rally thinks it was Radu who chaired him? More commotion from the backstage. Now what?!
Eddie D?!! The Renegade Champion is here, but why?
Andrew Fulton : It’s Anarchy baby… There’s not always a rhyme or reason to it… He’s THE big deal around here… We know he hates Rally if you need a reason.
Jeremy Tucker : …Eddie D is running down here with his baseball bat and Bruno and Fierce back off, body language that they don’t have a beef with him…
Andrew Fulton : Eddie aims the bat at them to make it clear he doesn’t care who he hits right now… Radu and Rally now shoving each other … I love this … I love the fact that Eddie being here makes no sense right now and only he knows his motives…
Jeremy Tucker : Eddie comes up behind Radu and shoves him into Rally and they collide, and then Radu and Rally start swinging wild haymackers at each other …. This is insane!!!!
Andrew Fulton : Eddie sees his opportunity, drops the bat, runs and double clotheslines the pair over the top rope to the outside!!!!
Jeremy Tucker : This has instigated a brawl between the two… Rally and Radu are caught up in a slugfest on the outside, the trust not there and Radu is not about to ‘not defend himself’ against the aggression from the SWAT World Champion… Meanwhile Eddie waves for the KGB to get in the ring and begins stomping on Tuxedo Mask like there’s no tomorrow…
Andrew Fulton : Frostbite, Fierce and Bruno get in the ring… Eddie holds a struggling Tuxedo up in a full nelson whilst the KGB take it in turns to rib shot Tuxedo with metal chairs!!! …This is the beat down the KGB intended aided by Eddie D… Meanwhile at ringside… Armand gets a cheap shot on Rally on the outside with a blind side punch to the head, to swing things in Radu’s favour… but Radu, not in a grateful mood, hits Armand with football tackle into the ring post!!!! Radu heads straight back after Rally who hasn’t given up the fight…
Jeremy Tucker : Where are the security team and the officials… The referee has called for the bell to be rung over and over to get someone out here… Hang on… Lucky Linda La Fey and ‘The Founder’ Paul Soutter are running down here now! Answering the call to break things up.
Andrew Fulton : The call has clearly gotten back to the locker room that this beat down needs to come to an end… Linda and Soutter have stopped short as Fierce and Frostbite keep them out of the ring with the threat of chairs they are wielding whilst Eddie and Frostbite have hung Tuxedo in a tree of woe in the far corner and are laying in big knees on the exposed Tuxedo to a host of boos from the crowd…
Jeremy Tucker : El Combatiente and Javier run down to the ring now also and slide in there. Linda faints one way but sprints the other and slides into the ring… Soutter keeps Fierce focussed on him as he edges up the ring steps… Javier is pointing at Soutter and Linda and yelling at EC to take them out and join the KGB, the KGB has clearly gotten to him … El Combatiente though does the opposite and spears Frostbite. The Tokyo crowd exploding.
Bruno misses with a chair swing on Linda and Linda kicks the chair out of his hands… Disarmed Bruno decides that he’s better off regrouping and drops and rolls to the outside… Fierce is distracted by the commotion behind him and Soutter shows great reactions and strength to rip the chair from his hands over the top rope and Fierce backs off and manages to bail to the outside before Soutter can waffle him with the chair… Soutter and Linda command this half of the ring now… Linda grabs a chair and Soutter and Linda turn their attention on Eddie D and Frostbite… Eddie gives Tuxedo one last punt, drops to his butt, salutes and winks at Lucky Linda and rolls to the outside laughing… Frostbite bails also and meets up with Fierce and Bruno at the ring steps.
El Combatiente and Javier are in the ring and help Tuxedo Mask out of the tree of woe in the corner and drag him to the centre of the ring to recover… El Combatiente goes to the top rope overlooking the ring steps and stares threateningly down on the KGB… The crowd praise the save made by La Fey, Soutter and El Combatiente with a huge cheer… The KGB are still assessing whether to turn on Rally and Radu, still brawling at ringside, or make another grab for Tuxedo… Maybe it’s just me, but Javier has some awkward looking body language and is trying to tell El Combatiente something, so the wrestler bends to hear him…. I think we have a camera close enough to pick up what’s said… Do we have a translator? …
Andrew Fulton : The producers are saying in my earpiece that the message was basically deciphered as “if El Combatiente could do a ‘big gesture’ he could join the KGB tonight!?” I don’t think that’s lost in translation… Look at El Combatiente and the torn emotions… his manager is telling him to do some big aerial attack on Tuxedo to show he’s with the KBG in their war against The Society, but he clearly mentally set out down that ramp to defend the guy from the beatdown he’s been receiving… The pain in his body language… he knows how they tortured Javier and feels somehow guilty for it …. This is the type of dramatic moment that makes this sport great Jerry…
Jeremy Tucker : Armand has gotten back up and looks at El Combatiente and points deliberately at Tuxedo to make the message clear… El Combatiente looks out at the fans and back at Tuxedo, down at Javier and down at Armand… Soutter and Linda are busy fending off Fierce from re-entering the ring… El Combatiente sets himself on the top rope, facing Tuxedo, still prone in the centre of the ring, he raises his hands! …. And leaps off … with a huge moonsault onto Armand on the outside!!!
Andrew Fulton : I think there’s your answer folks… El Combatiente gets a couple of swift punches in on Armand before retreating to the relative safety of the ring…
Jeremy Tucker : The KGB help Armand back to his feet, but Armand shoves them off, embarrassed and smarting… The referee hands Armand and Frostbite their SWAT World Tag Team Titles and orders them up the ramp… The KGB retreat slowly up the ramp to a hail of boos… Armand and Frostbite thrust their title belts in the air, and they all begin to congratulate each other…
Andrew Fulton : Radu and Rally are still exhaustedly brawling at ringside as Eddie just sits at the timekeepers table laughing at the pair, hitting the ring bell occasionally for his own amusement to punctuate the punches Rally is taking… El Combatiente once again mounts the turnbuckle pointing to the KGB and the Tokyo crowd explode for him …
Jeremy Tucker : That’s about all we have time for folks. So long everybody…
Jeremy Tucker : Welcome back everyone. Tokyo could not have been more welcoming as we head into our main event. It feels like this Japanese crowd will miss us when the show’s over, but you can tell the expectation is immense and they want to see this title match play out with all their heart.
