After the grueling experience of AWF's Fired Up, Keith Williams is back at home in North Carolina, isolating and recovering. Presently, he's shown in a room with framed posters and vinyl on the walls. In the corner is a record player that's halfway through playing a death metal band's album. The Paragon of Sleaze splayed out on his back, arms behind his head, looks up at the ceiling, a cozy, black leather couch beneath him.
Keith Williams: "Take a look around... And you'll notice that the only actual star on the upcoming Rebel Rock Wrestling show is me. It's a pity I had to come to a smaller promotion just to be treated right, my current employer would be wise to adopt these practices. My first match I'm already in the main event! I wouldn't have it any other way!"
A smile creeping over his face, Keith closes his eyes, headbanging along to the song being played.
Keith Williams: "Against the first champion of RRW no less! I won't waste my breath uttering the name of the guy who couldn't be bothered to defend his barely revived title. Him and his championship are blips on the radar, they don't count. Sweet, sweet Roxy... I can't tell you how ecstatic I am that you accepted my challenge. Looking back on that scramble you were involved in, it's a no brainer that you would come out on top. A woman of your caliber simply outshines and blinds mediocrity."
As the track changes, Williams' eyes flutter back open.
Keith Williams: "Don't mistake me for the type that would scoff about facing a woman and question their ability to submit a man. If you look between my legs, I'm no Ken doll with a blank space and nothing dangling. These big, hairy balls of mine? They allow me to get as competitive with women as I do with men. I don't feel bad about it either. If you want to wrestle that's your decision. More power to you for it! But when you step foot in that ring, I won't let chivalry prevent me from tossing you like a lawn dart."
Shifting his arms down, The Sleazy One places both hands on his lap and interweaves his fingers together.
Keith Williams: "Last time you had the benefit of a fifteen minute time limit and other people to help you get the job done. Not this time, girly! If you want to retain, you're gonna have to step up and climb this mountain of sleaze. You're not facing another chump hoping to get lucky. You're facing a champion, Roxy! Gold isn't foreign to me and I'll do everything I can to make sure I walk away from our match with one more title in tow."
Not staring at the ceiling now, Keith glances at the walls of the room. Going from one framed object to the next, coaxing more words out.
Keith Williams: "As the minutes tick by and the agony sets in, you'll regret ever winning the Ride the Lightning Championship. You'll wish you could go back in time and intentionally lose so that some other poor sap takes your place. When I say you better fucking kill me, I mean it. Use whatever weapons you can, pull out every move in your arsenal. Because that's the only chance you stand, Roxy. I intend to completely destroy you, to leave you a broken and bloody mess with a face that's no longer recognizable. You're going to earn the equality you crave with buckets of blood, sweat, and tears. In this fight, you're the final girl and I'm the monster, but it's not going to end the way you'd like."
Focusing his eyes on the camera, KW doesn't let up from the verbal attack on his opponent. The melodic and chaotic sound of the music in the background perfectly matching the intensity.
Keith Williams: "You can run away from home and try to live out fantasies, like a child. That doesn't change the fact you're worthless without your family, Roxy. No one ever warned you of the dangers of strangers and unfortunately for you, you've stepped right in the path of a predator. You want guidance, to be told you're a beautiful, unique snowflake. I won't offer that. I'm only a peddler of bad times."
Releasing his fingers from their interwoven prison, Keith moves his hands to his chest where he drums to the tune.
Keith Williams: "Your mother was right to worry, because not only am I going to pry your championship away, I'm going to leave your family's reputation in tatters. Once I'm finished with you, the name Vendetta won't mean a damn. Your efforts to branch out on your own will be for naught. If I have it my way, Claudia will get what she desires. I'll erase the existence of her daughter. And while you're struggling to survive, Roxy, deprived of your title, you'll have your mother to thank. How depraved is that?"
The music stops and the needle of the record player automatically picks itself up, moving back to its resting spot. Holding a finger up, Keith asks us to wait a second. He gets up from the couch and moves over to the vinyl. He picks it up, flips it, then puts it back down, pressing the play button again as the needle moves into position, starting the last half of the record. Done with the errand, The King of Sleaze returns to the couch and plops himself on it.
Keith Williams: "This isn't a tea party, Playtime Princess. You're about to find out how real and painful the consequences of facing me are. It's a lesson your mommy and daddy should have taught you, but I don't have a problem being the teacher. You might be confused, and that's normal. You've been so pampered like most second generation wrestlers. Put on a pedestal and hyped up just because you're the byproduct of success. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows, it's a mean and nasty place that discards the weak. You're gonna learn that, Roxy, if it's the last thing you do."
Settling in, KW tucks his arms back behind his head and closes his eyes once more as the cozy trap couch works its magic.
Keith Williams: "When I'm the Ride the Lightning Champion I'll have to start thinking about setting up a Sleaze Crown for my multiple championships. Maybe I'll get a mask made and call myself Super Sleaze Dragon. I'm a man with a plan and I won't stop collecting belts, no matter what company they're from! I'll do what no else can; I'll bide my time and put in five RTL defenses so I can challenge the eventual King of Rock 'n' Roll Champion. From there it'll be as simple as squashing them and reclaiming the Ride the Lightning Championship! I didn't come into Rebel Rock Wrestling on a whim; I'm here to hold hostage this company and its championships!"
Laughing, Williams seems certain he has it all figured out.
Keith Williams: "Roxy will be the first of many to find out... You don't trifle with Keith Williams."
Being this close to sleaze for so long, we leave Keith to enjoy his vinyl for fear of becoming contaminated and requiring a less than soothing shower.
