The XHF Network, in association with Northern Pro Wrestling, Proudly Presents: End of Days Week 2
Date: October 4th, 2020
World Cup Stadium in Seoul, South Korea
Capacity: 66,704
Attendance: 22,250 (Masks required)
The show kicked off with Gus Arnold in the middle of the ring. The patriarch of Northern Pro Wrestling, and Eastern Canadian Wrestling as a whole - welcomed the fans in attendance to the event. Gus spoke about how proud he was to see the organic growth of Northern Pro Wrestling. Gus said that he owed a debt of gratitude to the XHF Network for believing in him and the product. Gus waited for the applause to subside before continuing.
Gus said that this event had a very 'old school' feel to it. In his day, Gus reminded the crowd that everything was earned, and nothing was ever given. A tournament such as End of Days definitely forced each and every participant to earn their way to the top, while competing against some of the best wrestlers from all over different areas of the globe. Gus then took the opportunity to formally welcome every outsider who was there to compete, and said that he wished them all the very best. Gus said that his firmly believed the cream would always rise, and in an event such as this - nobody would be able to run and hide. Those who were the most prepared would give themselves the best chance of advancing.
Gus then shifted gears and spoke about the respective debut's of Bryan Chase and The Dark Stars. Gus noted that there has been and will continue to be in influx of new talent looking to cut their teeth in NPW. What better way to make your debut with the promotion, then to be thrown into the fire and pressure that comes along with competing at an XHF Global event.
The crowd cheered, as Gus took a moment to let his message linger.
Jay Stevens name was brought up next, which drew a roaring ovation from the fans. Gus said that Jay had fighting spirit and that never say die attitude. Jay would have his hands full with Manuel Mayorga tonight, a man who has yet to have his shoulders pinned to the mat in competition. Gus also heeded warning to the young grappler in regards to the numbers game and how he might be at a disadvantage.
With the North American Cruiserweight Championship set as the Co Main Event, Gus reminded everyone of his respect for the division, and how he believed it should be considered the Main Event at any event going. Gus went through the championship history, and noted that the Cruiserweight Cup was something that he looked forward to every year before confirming the tournament would take place once again in January 2021. After the cheers subsided, Gus continued. He said that he felt the division was in great hands, as all three of tonight's competitors would make a fine champion and would push the Championship to new heights going forward.
Gus finished his speech by reminding everyone of the months that lead up to the Main Event. Gus said that it was Gordon Carlson who stepped up to put NPW on the map in the XHF, and that he was deserving of this Champion vs. Champion opportunity tonight. Gus spoke about Eric Dane, and his storied career. Gus said that he hoped that Dane was 'all in' with Northern Pro Wrestling, and was willing to give him every benefit of the doubt in regards to his future with the company. Finally, Gus said that "Timeless" Alex Turner was both polarizing and captivating. Gus couldn't help but acknowledge the recent boon in business that occurred the moment the controversial superstar set foot inside of a Northern Pro Wrestling ring. Gus said that the fate of the promotion was in his hands, and we all had Timeless to thank for orchestrating the main event tonight.
Ultimately, Gus was in great spirits, and urged everyone on the card to use it as their personal launching pad towards greatness. Gus bowed to the crowd, before leaving the ring, which signified the commencement of the event.
With the introductions out of the way Gordon Carlson appears on the stage to a loud appreciative reaction from the 22k Korean fans ready to witness a spectacle. Ethan Mills runs out behind him and steps in front of him before making enthusiastic gestures to the entryway summoning his ward, Joe Ghaven who is quite large. Ghaven shakes Carlson's hand as Mills dances around them being loud and boisterous. As they enter the ring a spotlight falls on the three of them. Carlson seems confused but Mills is clearly behind this and hams it up.
The music for the Marston brothers hits and the two brothers hit the stage. The new RRW team take in the reaction from the crowd as the lights radiate off the XHF Junior Heavyweight title belt Adam has on his shoulder. The two men high five and move quickly to the ring ready to start the action. Jake and Gordon head to the center of the ring to begin End of Days week 2 sponsored by Northern Pro Wrestling.
TAG TEAM ANNIHILATOR ROUND ONE MATCH
One Fall Match, 30 min time limit
Gordon Carlson and "Iron Bear" Joe Ghaven vs. The Marston Brothers
The fans are all atwitter as the two men begin to circle each other to suss each other out. They grapple and begin an exchange of quick simple submissions and joint locks. Carlson begins to get the upper hand until a hammerlock is reversed with a pele kick. Marston began to use his speed and the ropes to his advantage darting in and out with quick strikes to Carlson before he could catch his bearings again. After a picture perfect dropkick put Gordon down, Jake tags in his brother Adam. The two seem determined to make Carlson beat them and avoid the huge obstacle that is the Iron Bear. The two hit a double suplex to Carlson. Carlson rolls to his hands and knees and is greeted by an offensive flurry from the Junior Hench-weight Champ. The flying fists are finally countered when a discus lariat is reversed into a German Suplex. Ethan Mills shouts at ringside for Carlson to tag in his client!
Carlson seems annoyed but agrees. He moves to his corner but Adam catches his legs and drops him with a drop toe hold. He drags him back to his own corner and tags in Jake. He then hits a scoop slam which Jake follows with One Last Ride (Swanton Bomb) off the top rope. Jake pins but Carlson kicks out at one and a half. Jake begins another flurry of offense using his speed to avoid counters from Carlson. Carlson finally connects with a European Uppercut. Jake and Carlson trade blows as the crowd oohs and aaahs with each retaliation. Carlson tries to whip Jake to the corner but he reverses and sends Gordon into his own corner. He tags Adam and the two send a combined strike assault to the chest of Carlson. They tag again and continue the barrage. Finally they pull him from the corner with a double northern lights suplex. Jake tags back to Adam and the XHF Junior Heavyweight Champ is ready to go. Carlson however springs to life and hits a jaw breaker and then a small package. He gets a two but that's it. Ethan Mills is irate at ringside trying to get the Iron Bear into the match.
Carlson catches his breath and as Adam gets to his feet he unleashes a hip toss and then an arm drag. He locks in an arm wrench. As Adam struggles he turns it into a cross armbreaker. Jake springs over the ropes with a leg drop to break the hold. Carlson rolls towards his corner but Jake drags him back then steps back to the apron. Adam shakes out the cobwebs and moves in with a trio of elbows to the face. Ethan Mills leaps to the apron and Marston temporarily takes his attention of Gordon and charges Mills. Mills leaps off in fear and yelps. As Adam turns back Carlson trips him up with a kick to the knee and then Carlson rolls backwards and suddenly finds the energy to spring to Ghaven. The tag is made and the crowd comes unglued. Ghaven slowly steps over the top rope and Adam now looks concerned. Country Strong still uses his own speed advantage to avoid the massive strikes from the Bear. He unleashes a steady stream of hit and run kicks and knees. Joe is starting to get annoyed and his legs sport red welts from the stiff strikes. Finally Ghaven manages to shove Marston but he uses the momentum to go off the ropes and come back with a flying shoulder block sending the Bear stumbling. Jake reaches over the ropes and slaps him in the head. Ghaven turns with a look of shock at the disrespect. Mills again comes unglued with rage. Adam however dropkicks him into the corner where Jake pele kicks him. Marston grabs the arm and rotates Ghaven for the Country's Lariat!
The thud is heard throughout the arena as Ghaven just stands stiff. Marston holds his forearm. Ghaven just shruts and palms Adam by the head with the Iron Claw before tossing him literally one handed across the ring. Adam tags Jake as he holds his back in agony. Jake climbs the ropes and leaps but is caught and slammed hard with a front slam. The Iron Bear continues to just absorb all the flying and striking offense with little effect. He gets in strikes here and there which are usually followed by a tag as the Marstons try to stay fresh against the refrigerator with arms that is Joe Ghaven. Ghaven tosses Jake into the corner and hits a body avalanche and he spits up blood. At this point we are past the fifteen minute mark. Adam tags in blind as Ghaven hoists Jake up over his head with a gorilla press. Adam uses all his might to chop block the big man and he collapses to his knees where Jake hits a DDT on the way down. Mills is in shock as Carlson has rested and calls in for a tag. Ghaven slowly pushes to his hands and knees but gets a basement dropkick from Jake on his way out as Adam clobbers him with a knee trembler. Ghaven is stunned. Adam mounts and rains punches in for an eternity before pinning. At two Ghaven hurls him across the ring. He slowly gets to his feet and is greeted by a stiff lariat. He stumbles but stays up and Carlson manages to blind tag. Adam manages to pull Ghaven into his own corner where Ghaven floors Jake with a shotei as he runs in. Adam however crushes his throat with a huge lariat. He then clotheslines Ghaven over the ropes to the outside! He leans over to check on his brother.
Carlson manages to hit him with a trio of German Suplexes for his trouble. Adam fights back when the submission attempt is made by kicking Carlson repeatedly in the legs and chest. Carlson backs off and Adam gets to his feet. They trade blows but Gordon gets the upper hand and hits a cobra clutch slam. He locks in a figure four leglock. Adam manages to roll over the pressure and Carlson has to break the hold. As the two men get to their feet Adam hits a headbutt which stuns both men. He hits another. He then sets up for the Country Lariat but Carlson catches the arm and drops into the kimura! Ghaven has Jake in a bear hug at ringside to prevent interference. As the arm is ready to break Adam finally verbally submits.
Winners by Submission via Kimura Lock and advancing in the Tag Team Annihilator: Joe Ghaven and Gordon Carlson (25:32)
New NPW signee Bryan Chase entered the ring first taking a minute to appreciate the atmosphere of the raucous Korean crowd. Irwin Collins followed him shortly after and settled into his corner awaiting the start of the match

Bryan Chase vs. Irwin Collins
The fans were intrigued by the Bryan Chase signing, as he's rumoured to have a ton of upside, and should be a strong addition to the roster. He would have the opportunity to test himself against Canadian Journeyman, Irwin Collins. Collins was a player in the Cruiserweight Division back in 2018, scoring some upset victories over some of the local talent which was signed at the time. In recent months, Collins has struggled to move up the ladder in NPW. A victory here would go along way in rejuvenating his career, but that would certainly be no easy task.
Bryan Chase offered a handshake to Irwin Collins who quickly slapped it away. The two men circled as the bell sounded to start the match. Collins fakesd a collar and elbow tie up then quickly caught Chase off-guard with a quick knee lift strike to the kidney. Collins followed it up with a vicious Europe style uppercut that knocked the spit out of Bryan’s mouth, saliva flew five feet into the air before landing on the time keepers shirt.
Collins fires Chase into the far corner turnbuckle then rushed into a flipping head scissors that was blocked, and Chase sent Collins face first into the middle turnbuckle! Irwin clutched his jaw and was clearly in agonizing pain. Collins and staggered up to his feet just as Bryan Chase hopped onto the top rope and leapt off with a Springboard Dragoncanrana! (Cheque, please!)
Chase hooked both legs tight while leaning forward as the referee counted to three! The referee raised the right arm of Bryan Chase who quickly finds a protective mask. Chase was so hyped about his victory that he jumped into the crowd to celebrate his victory with the fans. Could there by a fine on the horizon? The fans loved it, as it would appear as though Chase's reputation proceeds him, as he picked up a very quick victory over a veteran opponent.
Winner: Bryan Chase via Cheque Please (3:02)
[We see walking down the hallway the trio of Timeless, Roxylishus and Troy. Troy is wheeling Timeless’ bag and he is reminiscent of a young Triple H with the Kliq or a current day Caffrey trying to grasp at Radu’s relevancy. Timeless has a ‘Born to Fuck’ t-shirt on with his ref shirt slung over the shoulder and is wearing his hair in a ridiculous man bun. Roxylishus is looking incredible in a short short skirt and a Northern Wrecking Crew boob tube trying to, very unsuccessfully mind you, hold them huge norks in place.]
Timeless : So I have these clowns in the palm of my hand out there tonight, I am in charge and I can do whatever I see fit!
Roxylishus : Have you ever been a ref before?
Timeless : All you do is count to three … when you want to. How hard can it be? Watch.
Timeless : (slapping the concrete) One ……. Two ……. THREE!
See. Its as easy as 1,2,3.
Or, we could go the Roddy Piper Wrestlemania XI route.
[Timeless walks up to a road agent and gets in his face.]
Timeless : WHATYA SAY? WHATYA SAY?
[The road agent looks irritated so Timeless super kicks him and Roxylishus promptly drops for anther cover.]
Timeless : One ………….. Two ………………..
[Timeless stops counting and gives Roxylishus the double bird.]
Timeless : Ohhh, that worked.
[/a]Roxylishus : You could always pretend to hurt your back, that’s a stock standard. Here, look.
[Irwin Collins is standing in the corridor after his match, he looks a defeated man and Roxylishus levels him with a Diamond Cutter. She then steps over him, standing over his face her feet either side, she grinds and then BAM! Drops down with the splits. SPLIT SPLASH!!! Timeless drops for the count.]
Timeless : One …………….. Two ………………. (he clutches at his back, and smiles, Roxylishus smiles back, then gives him ‘the look’ and a nod to continue) … THREE!!
Irwin never had a better day.
[Timeless looks into the camera.]
Timeless : Tonight XHF! Prepare yourself for the unexpected. As I single handedly hold two careers in my fingertips. And the NPW gold.

Our first taste of tag team action came in the form of a Northern Pro affair, which featured the debuting team of The Dark Stars taking on Spin Cycle. SPin Cycle march to the ring in a no-nonsense fashion. The duo from Queens have been scratching and clawing their way through the NPW ranks for over a year now, and have seen moderate success. They looked to welcome The Dark Stars to the territory, and keep them at bay on their quest to climb the ladder.
The Dark Stars were accompanied by their wives- The Dark Novas. As a unit, the four of them were clearly on the same page, which would seem daunting for any opponents they may encounter.

Spin Cycle vs. Dark Stars
Niko stood out early with his ability to use a traditional wrestling style with burst of power to keep Reggie Taylor grounded. The frequent tags that the Dark Stars employed was absolutely textbook, as they rotated between the fresher man, while constantly keeping Jamal Williams in the corner. Williams was itching to get involved in the match, but was unable to do so, as one of the dark stars, or the referee would interrupt his repeated attempts.
Taylor took the brunt of the punishment for the first six minutes of the match, before finally executing the hot tag to Williams. Williams was able to keep the Dark Stars reeling for a few moments, until they eventually cut him off. Taylor wasn't much help, as he was recovering from the brutal beating he had endured throughout the contest.
The Dark Novas were certainly proud of the efforts of their husbands and made sure to voice their approval throughout. The Dark Stars showed a nasty edge to them, which should be monitored going forward. A blind tag from Williams, after he was able to escape underneath a double clothesline attempt brought Taylor back into the match. The referee tried to gain control but this was Spin Cycle's moment to shine. They played well off of one and other, and were able to finally exert some positive offence at around the ten minute mark. Niko was sent over the top rope, leaving Kono in the ring to fend off both men,
The referee physically got between the skirmish and forced Williams back into his corner. Niko then sprung onto the apron and blindsided Taylor from behind with a back brain kick. Taylor stumbled forward right into a nasty DDT from Kono. The two men looked at one and other, and after a legal tag was made to Niko, the duo executed their Death Strike finisher!
Taylor was out cold, and Niko made the pinfall. Williams tried to make the save, but Kono speared him to the mat while the referee made the count.
Winners: The Dark Stars via Death Strike (12:33)
After the bout, The Dark Novas entered the ring, and the celebration was afoot. Tag Teams of Northern Pro Wrestling should be leery, as The Dark Stars made a statement in this lopsided showcase and seem poised for big things in Northern Pro Wrestling.
Wellington Dunne enters the arena into a spotlight with one of the letters of SAGA in it. He marches to the ring cracking his knuckles and neck as he goes to loosen for his fight. The arena goes all out for the self-proclaimed King of Immortality as Maverick enters the arena. He checks his wrist and nods. He takes off his jacket and stares a hole through Dunne as the crowd goes wild for the former X*Crown Champion. He marches to the ring with a purpose mouthing off at Dunne the whole time. Dunne is giving it right back to him. The lights return to normal and the music cuts as Mav and Dunne get nose to nose and jaw jack before the ref gets them to step apart and calls for the bell.

King Maverick vs. "The Glasgow Bull" Wellington Dunne
Mav wastes no time as he charges Dunne with a blitz hitting a series of dropkicks one after the other. He gets DUnne to his feet and whips him off the ropes and hits a back body drop before taunting to the crowd with a crowning gesture to himself. He turns around and waits as Dunne stands up. He fires off an Iconkick but Dunne ducks it and bowls Mav over and begins firing off forearm shots to him. He grabs Mav by the shoulders and hauls him to his feet before hitting a suplex. Mav arches his back and now Dunne taunts. Dunne barrels in with an elbow drop. Mav grabs his chest in pain and rolls to his feet. He runs off the ropes and ducks a clothesline and on the return hits a slingblade on Dunne. Dunne is quick to his feet and the two begin a series of grapples and reversals. Some strikes are mixed in but in general Mav keeps using his speed to evade while Dunne uses his strength to deflect blows. Mav whips Dunne and follows but Dunne springboards off the middle rope with a cutter, the Scottish Face Breaker. Dunne rolls into a pin. Mav is out just as the second hand hits the mat.
Dunne grabs him and begins to manhandle him around the ring. He uses his heavy strikes to soften Mav up. Mav continues to avoid the big moves however rolling off the shoulders of bombs and sliding out of clutches. Mav finally is brought to his knees by a straight up kick to the dick. Eight minutes in and Dunne now has the "king" on his knees. He begs him to bow to him but Mav spits in Dunne;s face. Dunne crushes him with a series of heavy knees to the face. He then hits a clear closed hand fist to the bridge of the nose. Mav collapses holding his face. Dunne picks him up and hits a powerbomb. Mav is down. Dunne instead of pinning rolls out of the ring. He grabs a steel chair. He slides in the ring as Mav gets to his knees.
[CRACK]
The chair crashes on the back of the former X*Crown Champ. He slams it onto the mat and grabs Mav. He brings him to his feet and sets him up for the Well'n'Dunne on the chair. Mav slips out however and hits an Iconkick. He then picks Dunne up with the Storm Zero onto the chair! Both men stay down on the mat. Mav slowly rolls into a pin with his arm draped over. Dunne kicks out at 2.5.
Both men are slow to their feet. They trade punches. Mav boots him in the gut and hits a spine buster. He holds the pin. Dunne rolls the shoulder at the last moment. Mav is slow to his feet. Dunne is seen reaching into his tights. Mav moves in for a submission but gets a hard right hand to the face and crumples to the mat bleeding from the face. Dunne slowly stands up. He kisses the brass knuckles before tossing them to the mat. He pulls Mav up to a DDT position and clubs him on the back several times. Dunne hits a spine buster and a jackknife pin. Mav kicks out at the last second. Dunne locks in the Bastard Breaker! (Arm-trapped STF) Mav screams in pain but he refuses to lose. His perseverance is legendary. Dunne continues to wrench the hold. Maverick flails but inches his way toward the ropes. However he doesn't grab them. He uses his free arm to grab the knucks Dunne dropped and send blows to the crown of Dunne's head. Dunne releases the hold. Maverick slowly pulls to his feet on the ropes but Dunne barrels into him with a lariat sending him to the floor. Dunne takes a minute to shake out the cobwebs. As he leans through the ropes to grab Maverick.
[SMACK]
He is hit in the head with a stop sign. Mav slides into the ring and tosses the stop sign at Dunne and hits the Icon Kick to the sign into his head. He places the sign on the downed body of Dunne and flies off the top rope with a splash. Both men writhe around in agony. Maverick pins but Dunne rolls the shoulder at 2.99. Mav this time hooks both legs. Kickout at 2.5. Mav is shocked. He tosses the stop sign out of the ring and pulls Dunne to his feet. Dunne sends a few weak shots to the gut but Mav shakes them off and knees him in the face. He then hits the Infinity Driver!! He rolls the leg up. One Two Three!
Winner by pinfall and advancing in the EOD Tourney: Maverick [21:21]
Adam Sanders enters the stage and looks around at all the Korean Canadian wrestling fans. He makes his way to the ring after a short wave. Spike Skye is right behind him all hyped up for the event and psyching up the crowd.
END OF DAYS TOURNAMENT ROUND ONE MATCH
Falls Count Anywhere Match, 30 min time limit
"Awkward" Adam Sanders vs. Spike Skye
The match started out slow as Spike Skye and Adam Sanders feel each other out with short bursts of offensive moves.
It picks up when Spike stuns Adam with a spinning wheel kick and begins a flurry of daredevil moves that seem like he’s desperate for a win here.
Things change rapidly when Spike goes for the Skyewalker and Adam rolls out of the way. Adam keeps the offensive edge with the use of some surprising power moves.
They’re not surprising in the “Surprise, it’s your birthday party” kind of surprise, but as in “how could so much power come from such a small and geeky frame” kind of surprise.
Adam nearly takes the win with a double arm ddt (Motor City Circuit), but Spike manages to power out of the pinfall attempt at the last moment.
It’s still pretty much a matter of time before Adam makes the attempt to wrap things up with “This is Awkward” which is the vertical suplex piledriver. Spike reverses the attempt, hits a suplex, and rolls out of the ring.
The two brawl outside of the ring, working their way up the aisle with Spike taking the edge back by hot shouting Adam onto the security railing. The referee follows since this is a “Pinfalls Count Anywhere” as the two fight their way out through the crowd and into the outside area where the vendors are.
Adam smashes the side of Spike’s face into a griddle where onions and peppers are being cooked for philly cheese steaks and held there for a few seconds to crisp up nicely before Adam hits his “This is Awkward” vertical suplex piledriver and goes for the pinfall. It’s a cursory three count and Adam Sanders is declared the winner and going on to round two
Winner and advancing in End of Days: Adam Sanders via This Is Awkward at (14:40)
Stevens is the first to the ring. He moves with a purpose intent to get a win over Mayorga and Bloodline. The tension between these two men had been simmering for weeks. Stevens accidentally brushed shoulders with the 'bully' of the Bloodline faction, and had been getting the death glare ever since. It didn't help Jay's cause that he was tearing through opponents since signing with NPW, or the fact that he was brought into this business by his father and godfather who are widely regarded as one of the best tag teams to ever do it. Mayorga finish himself as one of the co-holders of the Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships, an honour that only two teams have had in NPW. Bloodline as a faction have steamrolled their competition with force, and done so against some very credible individuals.
The stakes couldn't have been higher for either man. Add to the fact that this was a Global PPV match, and it just added that little extra. Mayorga was accompanied to the ring by his tag team Partner, and leader of the Bloodline faction - Esteban Fuentes as well as Cruiserweight standout - Santiago Ortega.

One Fall Match; 30 Minute Time Limit
Manuel Mayorga vs. Jay Stevens
Fuentes could be overheard shouting instructions, as Stevens got out to an early lead in the bout. Stevens has been in the lab, and working on variations of arm locks - all of which we are being told are extremely effective, and could come out of absolutely anywhere. Stevens was on Mayorga's arm early and often, shaking it out, twisting it so Mayorga had no choice but to flip forward and go with the pressure or risk having it broken. When Mayorga was finally able to break free, he rolled out of the ring looking perplexed. Ortega told him that he was the bully for a reason, and to go hammer the young kid.
Mayorga rolled back in, and after a blatant eye rake, started to hammer away. A nasty running clothesline turned Stevens inside out. Mayorga picked Stevens up and slammed him down with a sit-down powerbomb. The referee made the count, but Stevens was able to get his shoulder up before the three count.
Ortega jumped on the apron to distract the referee, allowing Fuentes to creep in and hold Jay's arms behind him so that Mayorga could execute a nasty discuss elbow shot that had been known to knock everyone out that he hit with it. Fuentes scattered, and Ortega leapt off the apron at the same time. Mayorga made the cover 1.....2.....NO!!
Somehow Stevens was able to kickout. The look on Fuentes' face said it all, as nobody had ever gotten up from that roaring elbow.
Mayorga decided to head to the top rope, for a high impact move - but when he came down for the leg drop, Stevens' had rolled out of the way. Mayorga was in pain, trying to get back to his feet. Stevens was in a neutral corner, and used the ropes to get himself back up. Mayorga charged forward, but Stevens used a russian leg sweep to use Mayorga's momentum against him, causing him to crash to the mat face first. Stevens then locked up an STF! Stevens is known for his vast array of submissions, and seemed to have this one locked up tight. But then it happened again. Fuentes got up on the apron this time, while Ortega rolled into the ring and dropped an elbow on the back of Jay's head - causing him to break the hold.
This was clearly a situation where Jay could've used some backup, but there wasn't any to be seen. When Stevens had shaken the cob webs, he was back to his feet, and Mayorga took a wild swing but Jay caught his arm, and flipped Mayorga to the mat, before using his own legs to create leverage!
CROSS ARM BREAKER!!!!
Ortega pulled the referee out of the ring before Mayorga could tap. Fuentes got into the ring and started laying the boots to Stevens! The referee called for the bell, disqualifying Mayorga for the actions of his teammates - but they didn't seem to care. Fuentes and Mayorga were now taking their turns with vicious ground and pound. Ortega rolled into the ring, and it was now a 3 on 1 situation! Mayorga and Feutnes each held one of Jay's arms and Ortega hit the ropes and caught him with a nasty bicycle kick! The force sent Jay into the ropes, and both of his arms were suddenly wrapped up.
The referee jumped into the ring, trying to break it up, but Ortega cut him off, and held him back. We watched as Mayorga and Feuntes took their turns lighting Jay up with vicious strikes. Mayorga grabbed Jay by the throat, and started cussing him out in Spanish, before pimp slapping him! Such disrespect.
Jay was helpless, and lifeless, as his body went limp. This is when more referees came from the back to break up the affair. Fuentes and Mayorga seemed content with their beatdown, and finally relented. But not before one last roaring elbow from Mayorga to Stevens!
[WHAM!]
Bloodline then huddled together on the outside, and gave warnings to anyone who wanted to test them, that they were ready to fight anyone, anytime.
The official ruling of the match is a victory for Jay Stevens via disqualification. But Jay didn't look like a winner. There was blood coming out of his mouth, and he was unconscious. The referees worked to free him from the ropes, and finally were able to do so.
The final shot is of three referee's walking Jay back to the locker room before we cut away.
The crowd is now hyped for the arrival of the final AWF star of the tournament. Dakota strolls to the ring with a cocky grin and a chair in hand. She lays the chair at ringside and taunts the crowd. Misha Constantine doesn't wait for her to get to the ring before his music plays and he slowly saunters onto the stage. He does his level best to soak up all the attention as Dakota glowers at him. She rolls into the ring and rolls up her sleeves as he takes his sweet time harassing the crowd and generally being a dick.

Dakota Jennings vs. Misha Constantine
This match starts out with a bang as Dakota Jennings and Misha Constantine begin brawling in the middle of the ring with Misha gaining the advantage with a high kick to the side of Dakota’s head. He sends her into the ropes and hits a superkick on the rebound!
Misha Constantine continues his offensive without any submission holds in sight, working on wearing Dakota down through the use of brute force first.
The tide turns when Misha goes to pick Dakota up and gets dropped with a jawbreaker. Dakota goes through different ways to manipulate Misha’s arm to try to get him to say “I Quit”, but he refuses. After a standing moonsault, Dakota applies an ankle lock, but this doesn’t bring the magical match ending words out of Misha’s mouth.
Dakota glides out of the ring and brings in a steel chair. She waits for him to get up, but Misha hits a Martello de Negative Kick to send the chair back into Dakota’s face! Dakota is laid out on the mat and not moving, Misha finally applies a rear chin lock to see if Dakota will say “I Quit”.
However, Dakota is out cold and thus cannot say the words that will end the match. She has blood oozing from a gash in her forehead where her own steel chair struck her in the face as she was swinging it to his Misha.
Misha releases the hold and rolls Dakota onto her back so that he can begin slapping her around to try to get her to wake up. When she doesn’t move, he climbs to the top rope. He goes for a shooting star senton, the Irae Dai, Dakota rolls out of the way!
Misha is quick to stand up, but gets nailed with an uppercut from the steel chair’s edge. Blood and spittle fly from Misha’s mouth as he goes down to the mat. Dakota brings the chair up over her head and brings it down against Misha’s skull while shouting for him to submit.
She wraps Misha’s head up into the steel chair, goes to the ropes, and comes back to stomp on the chair. She tells him to submit!
She sets him up again and goes to the top rope. Misha sees her up high, but doesn’t seem to be able to move after being smacked in the head so many times with the steel chair.
Dakota leaps high into the air and lands with a foot on either side of Misha’s head. He sighs, knowing that he has been defeated, and says “I Quit” so that Dakota can go on to the next round.
Winner by TKO and advancing in the EOD Tourney: Dakota Jennings (16:04)
The crowd hushes as they are greeted by the lovable, oh so punchable face of Copycat as he runs onto the stage. He starts to flex and pose but is tackled to the stage by Terry Bradshaw who teabags Copycat. He stops and takes off his pants ... which are full of something ... Copycat springs to his feet shouting and runs to the ring. Terry puts on his ring tights right there in front of the crowd and walks to the ring winking at the ladies. Specifically the older ladies.
Neo James Carner and Keith Williams enter behind them and stop when they see the brown stained pants. They both slowly move away from them and towards the ring holding in a wretch remembering the old men from this week. They walk to the ring.
TAG TEAM ANNIHILATOR ROUND ONE MATCH
Tornado Elimination Match, 30 min time limit
The ReVenants vs. Terry Club
The match begins with Keith and Copycat. The two tangle up and Keith easily overpowers the malnourished Copycat. Keith throws him to the mat and gyrates. He laughs as he strokes his moustache ... but Copycat is on the mat crying. Keith's smile fades as he looks at NJC with a quizzical look. NJC just shrugs. Keith moves in and gets rolled up in an inside cradle. He kicks out at 1. He pulls Copycat to his feet and begins beating him up with some hard strikes. He locks in a fujiwara armbar. Copycat calls for Terry to help but Terry is cleaning his nails on the apron. NJC is in the ring tapping his foot. This is a tornado match ... Keith eventually loses his grip as Copycat's arm shapeshifts into a toothpick and back again now free. Both Revs look at each other.
NJC: Wait ... he can actually do that?
Terry Bradshaw thinks they're talking about his nails and gets angry. He charges in and tackles them both. He begins headbutting NJC. Keith pulls him off and locks in a full nelson. NJC punches Terry repeatedly. Copycat sneaks up and tickles Keith to release the hold and Terry then kicks backwards while the ref is distracted and crushes Keith's balls. He then headbutts NJC. Terry's head is bleeding from the headbutts but he just howls in victory. Copycat rolls up Keith but he kicks out at 1.5. Terry begins stomping Neo as he tries to roll away. Copycat slowly pulls Keith to his feet and the wincing Rev is able to muster enough for a tradeoff of various strikes. Copycat eventually ducks away and hits a back drop. Neo looks at him in shock. He can wrestle? Neo has to quickly regain composure. He begins firing off blows to Terry who just kind of ignores them. He is clearly being damaged as welts begin to appear he just seems to ... not notice. Terry eventually hits a punt to the gut and then slams Neo face first to the mat. Copycat pins. One! Kickout. Keith comes from behind with a sleeper on Copycat. He struggles, Terry again refusing to save him. But he again shapeshifts his body into Joe Ghaven whose size is enough to break Keith's grip. Keith is suitably worried until he takes a punch and realizes Copycat doesn;t get their strengths ... this continues for a while, Keith shrugging off Copycat's strikes and locking him in submissions only for Copycat to change form and slip free.
Terry continues to take damage and not notice from NJC's varied offense and retaliates with stiff blows. Neo finally is able to suplex Terry over the ropes to the floor. Copycat takes this chance to morph into Keith who is now irate. Copycat however yelps first.
CopyKeith: HOW DARE YOU! That moustache isn't worthy of Alex Trebek!
NJC turns around and blinks. There's two Keiths. They look the same. Keith sees the confusion but before he can reveal he is the real Willias, NJC kicks him in the head but the ref won't count the cover. Copycat pulls him off and hits NJC with Keith's own Queen Anne's Revenge. The blow isn't super powerful but it allows Copycat to pull Keith to his feet and grapple him. They spin for a bit and again NJC is confused.
NJC: OH COME ON! HOW IS THIS FAIR? ... OR POSSIBLE?
CopyKeith: We do work with a vampire...
NJC clotheslines CopyKeith and apologizes to Keith. They pull Copycat up for a double suplex but he resists and Terry Bradshaw peels NJC away and hits a big powerslam. He turns. CopyKeith points at Keith. Terry nods ... then football tackles them both ....... because Terry. He picks up Keith and hits a brainbuster!! NJC intercepts and clotheslines both of Terry Club. He brushes his hair back as Copycat reverts to normal. NJC picks up Copy and hits him with the Clock Tower Bomb. Bradshaw however grabs him and sprints to the turnbuckle and tosses him so his head hits the metal post behind the corner. Bradshaw then repeatedly slams his face into the turnbuckle and tosses him with force back where Copycat instinctively rolls him up for a three count. NJC is in pain and shock! He's eliminated. Bradshaw however in his infinite ... wisdom? ... tosses him over the top rope. The ref warns him but Bradshaw slams NJC into the steel steps and then picks the steps up. He slams them into NC and gets himself DQ'd. Copycat is in tears.
Keith sneaks up behind and hits a German Suplex with a bridge. Copycat kicks out at 2. Keith looks at the ref confused. He stomps Copycat some and lifts him up. Copycat turns into a copy of NJC and hits Keith with the Clock Tower Bomb! He pins. One Two, kickout at 2.5. Keith is again in shock. Copycat tries to roll him up but Keith stops this and picks him up. A trade back and forth of simple wrestling maneuvers and holds ensues. Copycat is actually impressing. Right up until NJC who was allowed to remain at ringside due to being attacked with steps reaches in and pulls Copycat's legs out and he crashes face first. Keith takes advantage and hits the K-Driver. He pins for the three.
Winners and advancing in the Tag Team Annihilator: The ReVenants (29:59)
Pat the Postman of Destiny enters the arena and the fans silence at his unusual appearance and massive size. He waves to the crowd and talks to some scared kids and leaps onto the ring apron and then leaps over the top rope in a stunning display of acrobatics.
Zeze Taborda steps onto the stage next with a smug look on his face. This is his home turf and he intends to defend it. He struts to the ring getting the ladies to swoon and then looks at his opponent. His face droops slightly as he realizes just how large this man is. He shrugs and gyrates a bit before rolling into the ring for the match.
END OF DAYS TOURNAMENT ROUND ONE MATCH
One Fall Match, 30 min time limit
"Your Living Legend" Zézé Taborda vs. Pat the Postman
The match begins with Pat the Postman charging as the bell rings to start the match, bringing Zeze down with a shoulder charge. Pat bulldozes Zeze Around the ring, using his greater strength and power as an advantage.
Zeze makes a comeback, hitting a low blow to stun the larger man. He whips Pat into the ropes. He slips behind Pat on the rebound, hitting a backdrop that lands Pat mostly on his neck.
From there out it was Zeze Taborda with the offensive, hitting one big move after another against the big man to keep him on his back.
The tide turns when Ze ze goes to the ropes while Pat is standing in the middle of the ring t go for a running move, but Pat grabs him up into a press slam position and uses Zeze’s momentum to throw him from the ring where he impacts the security railing, pushing it into the crowd.
If this would have been the end of it, it would have been alright. However, Pat the Postman goes aerial! He leaps over the top rope to hit a suicide drop as Zeze is starting to get up. From there, it’s easy to roll Zeze into the ring after having almost five hundred pounds dropped on him.
Pat the Postman hits a coast to coast 1080 cannonball senton that sees him jumping from one corner of the ring to another in a shocking display of athleticism. From there, it’s a simple 1,2,3 for the cover and Pat the Postman goes on to the next round.
Winner and advancing to the next round of End of Days: Pat the Postman via 1060 Cannonball Coast to Coast Senton (10:25)
Suddenly from the crowd a young Puerto Rican who really looks more like an older Serbian charges in. He leaps the barricade and as Zeze is being helped to the back, he blows him up with a spear. He grabs him and runs Zeze into the barricade hard. He then turns to the man celebrating in the ring and rolls into the ring. Pepe Morales is out to make a statement and puts on a coal miner's glove! He then spins the huge postman and punches him hard in the gut with it before crushing him in the head with the glove. Morales, who we can't legally prove is Zoran Sainovic stands over the fallen people he would face next week and laughs.
Pepe: Ze end. I win. Let's do zis again next week.
Cut to an advertisement for the Sippy Cup and End of Days week 3.
Solomon Graham is the first to the ring. He moves quickly, ready to claim what he wants, the NPW NA CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE! The stadium falls into darkness as light piano music sets a sophisticated tone while a single spotlight slowly opens up on the entrance way. Smoke pours from the back and the sides and the front because this is just a heck of a lot of smoke- probably more than any one entrant needs. Suddenly a roar slices through all this veneer of safety and style as we're rocked into the hard guitar of "The Bear Song" by Green Jelly. Out from the back comes the face....OF A DINOSAUR!? Yes! It's feared wrestler, Dinosaur Bones! But as he whips around, showing that his mask is firmly affixed to his face he's accidentally becoming a bucking bronco for the real star of this match- LORD DOMINICUS!
LD: ONWARD MY STEED! TO VICTORY AND UTTER DESTRUCTION!
"The Dread Lord" Dinosaur Bones roars again as he carries his rider (Lord Dominicus) through the thick smoke and down the entrance ramp to the ring, finally getting them next to the ring. LD gracefully steps off of his seemingly inflatable steed and....totally misses the apron and falls directly onto the mats outside the ring. BUT HE'S BACK UP QUICKLY and after a boost from Dinosaur Bones, the noblest and MOST DREADED of mounts, he's in the ring. Dominicus scowls at the crowd (probably it's hard to tell with the mask) while Dinosaur Bones takes a jog around the outside of the ring to see if there's anyone to intimidate/eat.
Marcus Smith enters the arena holding the title on his shoulder. He hoists it high over his head for the fans to admire as he walks to the ring. He is stopped briefly by a wandering Dinosaur Bones but eventually is able to get past him to the ring. The ref takes the title and holds it high over head to signal the title match and calls for the bell.
NPW NORTH AMERICAN CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Triple Threat Match; 60 Minute Time Limit
"The REAL" Lord Dominicus vs. Solomon Graham vs. Marcus Smith (c)
Triple Threat Match; 60 Minute Time Limit
"The REAL" Lord Dominicus vs. Solomon Graham vs. Marcus Smith (c)
Before the bell sounded we were reminded that the first man to score a pinfall would walk away from the ring with the North American Cruiserweight Championship in his possession. The championship itself has been held by only the very best in the world under the 225 pound limit. After the most recent Cruiserweight Showcase event, it's clear that there are many talented contenders with their eyes on the prize. The injury to Lynx opened up a golden opportunity for 'The Real' Lord Dominicus to parlay his recent success within the promotion into a major opportunity at a Global Pay PerView!
Solomon Graham answered the open challenge of the former champions Willard Manchester back in July, and has been on a blistering winning streak ever since. His time limit draw with Lynx brought forth rave reviews from wrestling enthusiasts around the world. Graham is definitely worth of this spot, and the praise that has been heaped on him since he debuted.
The champion Marcus Smith finally broke through the glass ceiling after defeating the legendary Tyrone Walker in the Main Event of August on the Atlantic. Prepetually in the shadow of his father's lengthy resume, Smith has sought out training all over the world, and at the ripe age of 25 years old, is coming into his own as a true professional with the experience and pedigree to back it up.
With all three men in the ring together at once, anything was possible. Smith felt as if he was being hunted early and often, but the fans were there to show their support.
The young lion who has been building towards this type of moment for the past three years, was finally prepared to show the world and his list of doubters that he was a player in this business, and would be for the foreseeable future. The REAL LD played it smart throughout the match, picking and choosing his spots like a craft veteran. When the heat was too hot, he always found a means of exiting the situation and allowing Solomon and Marcus to battle it out.
Much to everyone's surprise, Dinosaur Bones stayed at ringside during the match, and would become a distraction, as he got tangled up with Solomon midway through the contest. His large tail clipped Graham when he hit the ropes and slowed Graham's momentum down enough for Smith to avoid his clothesline, and execute a spinning back kick to the sternum. When Graham rolled out of the ring, he admonished the referee for missing the fact that Dinosaur Bones was instrumental in that exchange behind the referee's back.
With the referee fixated on Graham, 'LD' struck, and took Smith down with a nasty double undertook driver. The referee turned around to make the count after LD shouted - but Graham rolled into the ring and broke up the pinfall attempt. Graham then took out his frustrations on LD, since 'DB' was definitely in his corner. Graham hit LD with a reverse neck breaker that really snapped his head with force. Graham then transitioned into a crossface LD was fighting it, and Marcus Smith was back to his feet in time to stomp on Graham, and force the referee to break the hold. Within minutes, multiple near falls, as the intensity in the match picked up.
Suddenly, the prize felt within the grasp of two men with the champion having yet to feel it. Both challengers came close, and it seemed to inspire them to push forward. Smith knew how close he was to losing the Championship that he had been striving to earn for over two years, and in just his second title defence, had to feel as if his days could be numbered.
As we hit the fifteen minute mark, the match started to boil over and there were plenty of near falls. Marcus thought he had retained the title after nailing LD with a brain buster, which is a move he has often used to defeat his opponents. But Solomon was there once again to break up the pinfall. Sol' then decided to hit the ropes but decided to slingshot himself over the top rope and catch Dinosaur Bones by surprise! His attempt was unsuccessful, as 'Bones' read it and swatted Graham down hard to the concrete floor.
Graham's risk would prove costly, as it all but eliminated him from the match. His height, mixed with the impact put forth by the monstrous Dinosaur Bones would be enough to wipe any man out if it connected properly.
Inside of the ring, Marcus and LD were jockeying for position, before Marcus went for a Dragon Suplex, to which he got LD up, but LD wiggled free and slipped through Smith's arms. LD used his legs to roll Smith forward and a semi-victory roll position. The referee was in position, and made the three count - with Smith kicking out just after the final count.
Winner and NEW North American Cruiserweight Champion: "The Real" Lord Dominicus (18:03) via Victory Roll
The Real 'LD' jumped around the ring and mocked Smith, as the young grappler had just lost the championship he had been so diligent to earn. When the time keeper handed 'LD' the title, he leapt right into the arms of Dinosaur Bones, who was prepped on the outside to be part of the celebration. The New Champion held the North American Cruiserweight Championship aloft, while riding his pet Dinosaur to the back one more time.
After a hard fought match to open the show, Carlson is back to close it out and looks rested but slightly dinged up. He marches to the ring with purpose to the adoring cheers of the NPW Korean faithful.
Eric Dane's music hits and the reaction turns sour. He stands on top of the stage with a scowl on his face and shakes his head at the crowd and Carlson. He slowly maneuvers to the ring holding his title on his shoulder.
[Orion - Eternity (Chillout Version) hits and Turner struts down the aisle, glaring at the crowd with contempt and disgust. Roxylishus stops to interact with one of the crowd, then wretches and turns away heading to the ring, she gets up on the apron and holds the ropes down for Turner.
Roxylishus grabs the mic and passes it to Turner.]
Timeless : I got passion in my pants and i ain't afraid to show it.
Crowd : I’M SEXY AND I KNOW IT!
Timeless : No (holding his hand up to block them) Your not! I (points to himself with his thumb) AM!
[Timeless drops the mic and saunters smugly around the ring impressed with himself. He enters the ring and puts on a referee shirt. He then holds up both titles to the crowd and hands them to the timekeeper.]

"The Only Star" Eric Dane (c) vs. Gordon Carlson (c)
Special Referee Title for Title Match; 60 Minute Time Limit
Special Guest Referee: "Timeless" Alex Turner
"The Only Star" Eric Dane (c) vs. Gordon Carlson (c)
The match that everyone had been clamouring for within Northern Pro Wrestling was set to commence. The ramifications of this bout were surely to be felt long afterwards, as two men at the top of their respective games were about to clash. The winner would be the unquestioned top guy within the company, and have two championship titles to prove it. The wildcard through this entire process has been "Timeless" Alex Turner. Turner was able to weasel his way into the confrontation with carefully timed information, and strong negotiating skills. Turner completed his referee certificate, and asked to be licensed as the official for the Superfight. Based on prior actions, it was clearly that neither Eric Dane or Gordon Carlson could trust Timeless, as his reputation speaks for itself.
Timeless looked to check to ensure that neither Dane or Carlson were carrying any foreign objects. Dane was insulted, even though Turner was merely doing his job, as he seemed to be taking his position of authority very seriously. The tension between Turner and Dane was palpable. Carlson on the other hand was razor focused on Dane, and complied without resistance to the 'spot check' from Turner.
Dane was interested in talking some trash to Timeless early in the bout, as his presence seemed to fire Dane up. Carlson was on the receiving end of an early barrage which was a reminded to everyone that there was still plenty of gas left in the tank. While Carlson was regrouping on the outside of the ring, Dane and Timeless shared a moment where Timeless begged Dane to hit him, then pointed to his referee's shirt, saying that he couldn't without risking a disqualification. Timeless seemed to revel in this newly found position of authority, and needled Dane whenever he could. During one of their back and forths Carlson snuck into the ring and blindsided Dane with a double axe handle. Repeated blows from above followed, breaking Dane down to one knee.
Carlson sent Dane into the ropes and charged forward with a hook clothesline, knocking the Hall of Famer to the mat. Timeless got down on one knee and asked Dane if he 'wanted to give it up', clearly trying to incite him even further. Dane used the negative energy to his advantage, as he leg swept Carlson when he moved in, and grabbed Carlson's neck, sinking in a deep reverse chin lock. This allowed Dane to wearing Carlson, while keeping his gum flapping in the direction of Turner.
This is when we could clearly see Gus Arnold move around from behind the time keeper's table and admonish Timeless for his actions. Gus threatened to pull him from the match if he didn't smarten up. Typical Timeless, he pointed to Dane saying it was him who was instigating and that he was innocent of any wrong doing. Gus didn't take kindly to the cherade, and said that this was Timeless' last warning. Either call the match from an impartial point of view, or he would call down his senior referee from backstage to continue the match.
Message taken, and noted. Timeless then legitimately asked Carlson if he was willing to give it up, but Carlson fought out of it, and with a few back elbows to the gut fo Dane, was able to break the lock, before hip tossing him to the mat. Dane popped up, and a deal collar and elbow tie up followed, which resulted in Carlson backing Dane into the corner, before rifling a few stiff chops to the middle of Dane's chest.
[SLAP!]
[SLAP!]
This fired Dane up, who reversed it, and started lighting Carlson up with a few chops of his own.
[WHACK!]
The second of which dropped Carlson to the mat. Dane hit the ropes and went for his running knee strike, which Carlson rolled out of the way of. Carlson knew he was within inches of taking the brace to the face, and would've been counting stars.
Timeless encouraged each man to continue the match at a quick pace, which Carlson didn't appreciate, as he was welcome to take a few moments to gather himself if Dane wasn't pressing forward. Carlson circled, and dove into another collar an elbow, which Dane avoided, before bringing both knees up and executing a backstabber! Which knocked the wind from Carlson's lungs. Dane didn't go for the cover, but he picked Carlson up and executed a slingshot suplex, using the top rope for more leverage. He took Carlson over with force, before floating over for the pin. Timeless was in position, but Dane only got a two count for his efforts.
In these big match situations, the experience advantage was paramount, and Dane held a huge advantage in that category. A match of this magnitude was just another Sunday for Eric Dane, but for Gordon Carlson - this match was EVERYTHING. We sensed that Carlson had some jitters, and lost some self control early when some of his attempts to gain an advantage in the match were thwarted by Dane. With Gus Arnold at ringside, and Timeless in the ring as well, the energy was all over the place. But in that moment, he needed to dig deep, because Dane was the first man to gain a pin attempt.
When Dane approached for more offence, Carlson dove for a double leg, and was able to use the position to regain some much needed oxygen. Carlson transitioned to the upper body, and trapped Dane's arm while trying to lock in an arm triangle. Dane was resisting, but Carlson found a way to keep the pressure on, before finally securing it. It looked tight, and Dane was scrambling. Timeless was there to check on things, but Dane refused to submit. Dane was able to feel around with his left leg and eventually stretch out far enough to drape his toes on the bottom rope. Timeless took a minute, before realizing that Dane had broken the hold, and those few extra seconds were paramount. Dane had to suffer longer than he should've and the observer had the wonder if Timeless' actions were intentional, even though he played it off as an oversight.
Dane rolled out of the ring once the hold was broken, and was gasping for some air for a moment - before pointing at Timeless while admonishing Gus for having 'that hack' be in charge of their bout.
Gus wasn't going to budge, and merely pointed to the ring, where the hungry Gordon Carlson stood waiting for the fight to continue. Dane had to wonder if this was going toe the way the rest of the match would take place. A crooked referee, an owner who was too stubborn to admit that his decision to hold the match in this context was chaotic, and finally a hungry up and coming champion who was looking to solidify himself as a main event player all around the world. Eric Dane was used to being on the favourable end of these types of situations, as opposed to where he found himself currently. He had to wonder in this very moment if he decision to turn his back on Northern Pro Wrestling was coming back to haunt him. Although Dane classified his 'pay' in NPW as being on the low - end, anyone with any sense of logic would argue otherwise. That, plus the fact that by hook or by crook, Dane was still headlining a Global PPV event in South Korea with the opportunity to become a Double Champion.
Dane took all of these thoughts with him when he entered the ring to continue, and Carlson wore the brunt of it, as fist of fury from Dane followed. Dane had Carlson on his heals, and then executed a short-clothesline that came off almost like a lariat. The clubbing blow had Carlson clutching his jaw and ear, the same side of his face that needed to be re-aligned after taking a right hand from the loaded glove of Timeless.
Dane started to execute his patented offence on Carlson, utilizing throws and strikes to pretty well maim the Canadian Grappler. But for as hard as Dane tried, he wasn't able to get Carlson out of there. Carlson showed tremendous grit, and stayed in the match after repeated pinfall attempts. Timeless could be heard telling Dane that he 'didn't have it' any more. But the observer believed that it was a nod to Carlson's endurance as opposed to a slight to Dane's offence.
Dane once again flinched at Timeless, who warned him that he would ring the bell if there was so much as a single finger laid upon him. Dane went back to the offence, but Carlson had other ideas, and with every ounce of energy that he had left, he mounted a comeback.
A wild swing a miss from Dane was met with a kick to the gut, and a vicious snap DDT from Carlson. He hooked the leg, hoping the element of surprise would be too much to overcome - but Dane was able to kickout at 2.
As soon as Dane tried to scramble back to his feet, Carlson snatched his neck and didn't ever want to give it back. Dane found himself locked up in a dragon sleeper. This is the submission that Carlson used to win the Canadian Heritage Championship, as well as punch his ticket to the main event of Night of Champions. Dane was fighting it, and doing his best to wiggle to the ropes. When all else failed, he finally was able to shoot his thumb up and it caught Carlson in the eye, which forced him to release the grip. That was a close call, and enough for Dane to start hunting a finish. A running knee strike was next, the one that Dane has been using to out everyone away over the past few years. The shot caught Carlson clean, as he went for the cover.
1....2.....NO! Somehow Carlson was able to get his shoulder up.
Dane looked at Timeless, as he felt the count must've been slow, but Timeless told Dane that his opponent wouldn't be denied, and he better do something about it. Dane was calling for Carlson to get back to his feet as Dane grabbed a body lock, and attempted an over the head belly to belly suplex, but Carlson executed a short elbow to bide himself some time, before reversing the lock and attempting a german suplex, but Dane curled his boot around Carlson's calf, defending the attempt. Dane nailed Carlson with a Back elbow that he didn't see coming which clearly stunned him!
Timeless told Dane that Carlson was out on his feet as Dane went behind Carlson and he was the one who delivered the German Suplex Hold! Timeless was in position to make the count!
1......2......3!!!
Timeless called for the bell. Dane raised his hand in victory, as Carlson laid prone on the mat. The back elbow nearly knocked him cold and Dane used his strength to launch Carlson dead-weight into the German Suplex hold.
Dane motioned for Gus to hand him Both Championships. But Timeless told Gus to hang on a second. Timeless then put Dane's hand down!
WHAT?
Timeless made the motion that Dane's shoulders were down as well during the 3 count, and in fact BOTH men's shoulders had been counted down. Dane was irate, and couldn't believe it, as he went after Timeless, who jumped out of the ring with his hands up. Timeless said that Dane's shoulders were still on the mat when he made the three count and that he hadn't been able to get his shoulder off the mat in time.
Timeless tried to snatch the Canadian Commonwealth and Canadian Heritage Championships away from Gus's grasp, but the grizzled old man shoved Timeless. Gus said Timeless was making a mockery of this contest, and that he didn't believe that his verdict was accurate.
Just then a replay video hit the big screen, where everyone watched to see if Dane's shoulders had in fact come off the canvas in time. The first angle appeared that he didn't! Timeless was telling the truth. Gus was shocked, and apologized to Timeless for not believing him. Timeless then warned Dane to stay away from him, because putting his hands on an official would mean a serious fine!
Carlson had just started to come too, and he watched the replay as well, looking utterly disappointed.
The replay aired again, and it appeared as though it was conclusive - that both men's shoulders had been on the mat for the 1-2-3 when Timeless made the count, therefore this was a Double Pin!
This is when Eric Dane went over to grab his Canadian Commonwealth Championship, and Gus informed him that he wasn't going to give it to him. Dane looked agitated, and questioned Gus as to why. Gus said that technically both men had been beaten, and neither man would walk away from the event with their respective championships.
Gus then walked away from ringside with both titles in his possession! Dane was gobsmacked, while Carlson seemed to accept his fate graciously. Our final shot is of Eric Dane looking frustrated over the outcome of his match.
--
[Bonus Footage.]
An overheard camera replay surfaced an hour after the event went off of the air. We are able to see what appears to be the Left shin of 'Timeless" Alex Turner draped across the bicep of Eric Dane, which didn't fully allow for Dane's shoulder to leave the canvas. Timeless made the count from behind the suplex, and out of the way of the hard camera.
The second shot is a close-up, where watch as Dane is trying to get his right shoulder off of the mat when Timeless makes the two count, but the pressure and weight from Timeless' leg holds his arm down.
The first angle made it appear as though Timeless was doing his job, and getting as close to both men as possible before making the three count. But the angle from above paints a completely different picture. Dane might've felt that his shoulder had come off of the canvas ever so slightly, but we can now confirm that the arm couldn't have come up due to the extra 200 pounds of pressure exerted by Alex Turner.
[Cut.]
