Washington DC. Rose Garden. Evening.
*A podium stands at the head of the Rose Garden. A socially distant and responsible group of journalists sit awaiting as the man! The president! Curtis D. Kanyon emerges! He walks to the podium as cameras are heard click clacking.*
: Good evening. Tonight, I can report to the American people and to the world that the United States has conducted an operation that killed a large nest of murder hornets, the leader of bee killing, and a terror who’s responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent men, women, and children.
*The president holds back a tear.*
: Today, at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against their compound in a tree in Washington state. A small team of Americans carried out the operation with extraordinary courage and capability. No Americans were harmed. They took care to avoid civilian casualties. After a vacuuming, they killed the murder Hornets and took custody of their bodies.
*Curtis makes a fist and nods.*
: Yet their death does not mark the end of our effort. There’s no doubt that more hornets will continue to pursue attacks against us and bees. We must –- and we will -- remain vigilant at home and at the bee keeping farms.
*Curtis smiles.*
