Hey everyone!
End of Days was a rousing 5-weeks of insanity to herald in the new season of the XHF Network!
I wanted to give some major props to everyone who helped make it possible. For the feds who hosted the shows, the rpers who kicked so much tail and made the rounds highly competitive, the writers who produced exciting matches, and DT for heading up all this mess while I got to sort of lay low for a while. It was a wild time and I'm really proud of everyone who participated. It was an awesome time guys.
But things never stop for the XHF Network and coming into this new seasons there's several things I wanted to announce.
First up, I'm going to officially say that there will be no more Network Admin-run global shows until January. We did a lot this year because of the pandemic giving people more time to write but it's time to step back and let the individual feds get more spotlight time and the Network admins a breather, lol. Members are more than welcome to run their own independent events, feds can have Xtractions, and I know J-ROK's December show is semi-global. Just no more this year being run by the Network Admin staff, lol.
In that thread, starting in January there's going to be a shake-up in the XHF Network's global commentary team. Due to his age and years of work, Jerry "The King" Lawler will be stepping down after nearly 20 years commentating for the XHF and assuming some sort of backstage role. However, we let him choose his replacement and he picked.....Randy Angel. So uh, I hope you like a drunk who's wrestling knowledge is highly suspect because that's what you're getting.
Another announcement to make is that, as noted before, we're getting REALLY BIG, lol. So big we keep hitting proboards subforum limits. There have been many people with many ideas but after discussing it among the Network Admins we've decided to launch a special secondary board exclusively for archival purposes. It's not much to look at right now but in the coming weeks we're going to begin the process of moving shows and other relevant information from feds.
-The initial archival wave will focus on Network feds that closed in 2017 and Non-Network fed archives. After the shows/info have been moved to the new board we'll be combining those feds into newer smaller areas (not deleting anything from this board, just subforums).
-If you'd like to help in the migration process let me know, because it's a lot of copying and pasting.
-We may also have a special staff to oversee that board.
-AND, that board will need a really banging layout since it likely won't change frequently, so if you are an AWESOME graphics maker hit me up. If we get a few applicants maybe we'll hold a contest!
Finally, DT will post more about this later in a reply but we've decided to upgrade the status of the XHF Junior Heavyweight Championship. No longer will it be tied to a single company but instead will actually have an official touring schedule through the feds. Yes, that's right even YOU, shrimpy loser, can win a global title!
*Checks character's stats*
Oh I mean, "Yes that's right, even YOU, awesome and totally at a healthy weight and good condition wrestler, can win a global title!"
We're looking into even more changes but those are the most exciting and soon-to-see ones. Keep rocking guys and remember to keep things Xtreme! Thank you for making this THE place to be in efedding!
