HEY YOU! YES YOU! THAT'S RIGHT I'M TALKING TO Y... Kuroi for the love of God put clothes on! This is serious!
Got your attention? Good this is where I'm gonna explain the trial run of the touring Junior Heavyweight title belt. NOTICE I SAID TRIAL RUN! We are going to use the first four events to gauge both interest and details. So the nitty gritty might change. Also I guess it's possible MCCW could reopen and reclaim the belt? Maybe? We'll see? Probably not. So here's the rules as of this post!
1) The Junior Heavyweight title is defended once a month and will EVENTUALLY run down the list of active feds from top to bottom (X*Crown fed will count as where it would be if there were no X*Crown so J-ROK is second not first
2) The CURRENT RP limits for this belt will be 2-3 weeks in advance the match is confirmed and the window opens (depending on hosting fed), matches are 1 on 1 unless it's a global show and we mix it up. Limits are 2 RPs at 1500 words or less. Competitors can be selected however the fed head wants (competition, volunteer, forced booking) with the only rule that the wrestler must weigh NO MORE than 225 pounds. SO no porkers like uh *checks notes* Death Trap at 260! .... Oh now I feel bad.
3) Gimmicks can match the fed style but try not to go too extreme. ANd try to go for matches with a clear win condition (pin, submission, escape structure, etc)
4) If nobody in your fed wants to challenge or you just don't want to try for the belt right now you can pass your turn but let me know far enough in advance to alert the next fed in line!
5) The competitor for the belt MUST BE HOUSED IN YOUR FED AS THEIR PRIMARY. So Brad Swann can only challenge in FWA.
For the first four defenses since RRW just had a defense among itself (with an invader), we wanted to use the feds at the bottom of the list to get eyes on them and then we'll cycle to the top of the list and start with AWF in March. Also before that defense the admins will reevaluate the rules and whether we want to continue with this touring thing. I will be running the logistics of it and alerting people who is coming up next. So without further adieu ...
NOVEMBER'S DEFENSE - THE FIRST TOURING EVENT WILL SEE JIMMY VANGUARD CARRYING HIS NEW TITLE TO FIRESIDE! On the 3rd episode of Inferno big things are already planned and now there's one more.
DECEMBER'S DEFENSE - THE JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE GOES NEXT LEVEL! NLW gets to flaunt it's stuff on it's end of the year show!
JANUARY'S DEFENSE - SO since the first two are PPV's I skipped one fed so WWX will get the first crack at this event. If they choose to skip or not participate we'll see an unconventional defense in CAR! (I'll work it out with h2f I promise)
FEBRUARY'S DEFENSE - We go to the great white north as NPW gets to house this final test run match.
I hope you are excited. I know the touring belt idea has been a popular one and Dylan is KIND of working the X*Crown that way too but this should be fun.
