To simplify the process and make it easier to understand i will break down the cards posted for Ravage and/or PPVs.
Deadlines:
First and foremost, World Wrestling Xistence has three separate deadlines: Promos, Segments, Strategies. Each is usually determined by the Head Booker of the card. Please pay close attention to the timezone. If you are on a different timezone from the one specified, take into account when you want to post your promos. If you're not able to make any of the deadlines to send your strategies, segments, or not able to promo. REACH OUT TO THE WWX STAFF IMMEDIATELY!!
Failure to communicate with WWX management (either myself or Dave) and missing deadlines reflects poorly on the superstar. There are circumstances in real life, but communicating frequently if you are going to miss deadline or that you wish to have more time is vital to your success in WWX.
Blatantly no-showing will mean that you will be booked less on the cards. No-Showing multiple times (minimum of two) and without reason why you missed a card, can lead to removal from the roster and placed on "Inactive" with a tag next to your name "Released From Contract".
Segment/Strategy Requests:
If you are not booked or visiting from another fed within XHF or even outside of XHF, but wish to be featured on the card (i.e XHF Champions hyping title defense for the month), immediately send a message to myself or Dave with strategy or segment written out. If you are unsure about what is allowed or acceptable, seek us out before deadline has passed to get clarification.
Winning v. Losing Factors:
We have all been there. You just waged war in the promo section against your opponent. It looks close. Too close. Your character loses the match on what looks like a technicality that your character is not known to show. Here's a few things to consider upon finding out if you lost:
1. Are you in a storyline?
2. Consistency
3. Did you send in a strat(egy)?
4. Did Booking tell you ahead of time?
Most of the time, the glaring one within WWX is that the person that lost, usually doesn't send in a strategy before deadline. Strategies in WWX, provide a few things for the Head Booker or myself:
1. If you're in a storyline, it gives you a venue to reflect your character better than we can. You know your character, especially for those who been efedding with the same character for over five years. Help us better show everyone who your character is as a heel/face.
2. Consistency is self explantory. You are responsible for your ability to promo on a biweekly schedule and how often you do reflects your character's ability to win the match. If your opponent has promo gap on you of 5-10, the sequence of events in the match are going to favor your opponent. If its a margin of 1-2 at the finish, its going to look real close.
3. #2 leads directly into this: Did you send a strategy before deadline? What about after deadline? Sometimes, we will accept what you want to happen in your match under special circumstances and communicating with us BEFOREHAND. But it gets tricky, what if someone not in the match strat for you to lose? Or just to appear for a bit amusement and hype? That can happen, it adds spice to the match, if its a storyline, you have now more to add to your story and more motive to win going forward. Remember this is fictional and a community that thrives off each other.
4. This is a very SPECIAL REASON. i said the last words in caps because, if you are told ahead of time, the realization is that there's more to come with the storyline. Keep in mind, we are not locking you down creatively by controlling your storylines outright. Your segments, if pre-booked or asked for by us, is us trusting you to run with the situation involving your character. At this point, losses/wins ARE A NON-FACTOR. Communications under this reason are because we trust you. Treat it differently and/or try to abuse it, it will be misplaced trust going forward.
================================
Q: What kind of strategies are expected in WWX?
A: Your imagination is the limit to what you want to happen in your match. You will be informed, if needed if it needs to be changed or its not accepted. Generally if you don't see it on the show, it was not approved. If you ask about it, be respectful and open-minded on why the head booker or myself denied it.
Q: Can segments be sent in for post-match antics?
A: YES! Make it interesting, but keep in mind that we have final say on what happens, your segment can be tweaked to fit the situation.
Q: Can you "crash" a championship match?
A: You can. Know that you have to factor if those in the match will strat to expect you or not. Also, depending on which championship it is, still has to be cleared by the Head Booker or myself.
Q: Can XHF Championship matches be crashed?
A: Due to the nature of such matches, that is at the discretion of XHF Alliance Board and the WWX Management team.
Q: If no segments are booked, does that mean segments are not allowed?
A: No, quite the opposite. Its open "first-come, first serve" approach to having yourself on the card if you are not booked. If you are booked and what more screentime, send in a segment.
