The shot opens on Isabel Rios marching backstage, visibly angry, after helping hand Cassie Hunter off to the medical team for care. A handful of reporters gather, drawing a frown from the woman but she does stop for them, letting them form a semi-circle around her.
Reporter 1: "What caused you to get involved out there tonight?"
"Are you kidding me?! I saw two women trying to take out someone I personally respect out there. Why the hell wouldn't I get involved?"
Reporter 2: "So you and Cassie know each other?"
Isabel nods, leaning back against the wall, seemingly resigned to answering questions even if she clearly looks like she'd rather be elsewhere.
"Yeah, we've met a few times on the indies. Wrestled each other a couple times, tagged together randomly once. I won't pretend I know her real well or we're besties, but I like her, I respect her. And I should've been faster or grabbed a chair myself on the way out or... fuck."
She sighs, her head dropping for a second before exhaling slowly and looking back to the reporters.
"You saw what happened. I can say 'I tried' all I want, but I didn't get the job done. Any other questions?"
Reporter 3: "It looks like you'll be facing Deco from the J-ROK promotion on December 17th at Crowning of a Champion II. Any thoughts on that?"
Isabel looks visibly surprised for a moment before letting out a little huff, still clearly frustrated with herself. She pushes some errant hair back from her face.
"I mean... cool, I guess? Not really what's on my mind right this second, no offense."
Reporter 3: "Are you familiar with Deco at all?"
Isabel shrugs.
"I know the name yeah, of course. Lots of hype from people who don't give out hype easy. I've got some research to do, clearly. Sorry, can we be done here? I want to go check on Cassie. Thanks."
Isabel pauses a second to let the reporters make room for her before walking past, headed towards the trainer's room as the shot fades out.
