(not so) Short Bio: 
*James Knox, aka bad ass biker who ran with a crew called the Immortals MC, as their road-captain.

*Partook in meetings with other groups, clubs and MC's. Went to buy a new street drug called' Steam' with some bro's, took a sample and the stuff pretty much blew his mind.

*Drug-deal turned wrong, he was betrayed by some of his brothers and attacked. Escaped with his life with help from the drug-chemist Bodhi. She eventually knocked him out and sent him to hospital.

*Woke up in hospital, the drug didn't wear off and he started thinking he was Hyperion, the great Titan of Greek mythology. Had crazy strength, stamina and fury. He fled as soon as he could.

*Found Bodhi and went into hiding with her for a while. They fled to Bethesda, Ohio (her home town). They waited until the other bikers were arrested/ killed and with their past lives over they partook in the local business of Bethesda- professional wrestling. Signed up for the AWF and started a long career.

*'Hyperion' took over James Knox's mind, driving him forward to battle. He was conflicted, but somewhat in control. Won many fights, climbed the ranks up to the AWF Heavyweight Title and started losing himself.

*Turning heel and more aggro than ever before, 'Hyperion' poisoned Knox's mind. Nobody knew who was in control anymore, Bodhi tried to help but Hyperion lashed out and left her barely alive after a vicious attack. She left him and moved to Japan.

*During a title match, Bobby Barratt hit Hyperion so hard with his bat Debra that he literally knocked the 'Hyperion' out of Knox's head. Waking up not knowing where he was or who he was, Knox ran away.

*After a long hiatus, he returned to the ring at the behest of Bodhi, who refused to give up on him. He came with her, as she slowly brought him back to normal. *She had hoped to save him, but after a few matches and losses, the stresses built up and 'Hyperion' returned, more furious than ever. His empire burned around him, and he decided to rebuild. He put his mind to action and properly built up the 'Church of Hyperion'.

*After a long and storied return, winning the Fired Up! tournament of 2019 and reclaiming his most coveted title, the Prestige Championship, Hyperion was truly the King of AWF.

*His demons returned to him, with 'Knox' trying to take back his mind. Troubled by his own psyche, Hyperion surged forward with the Church (more commonly branded as a 'cult' by those outside of it). This resulted in a very dangerous, very menacing Hyperion. Unhinged and unstable.

*With his newly formed stable of Legion (Hyperion, Kuroi, Natasha & StormCrow), the group grew in power and strength. Their numbers also grew, with more than a thousand followers worshipping them. Over time, cracks would appear in the foundation.

*StormCrow wanted to leave, but was forced against his will to create an elixir of the Gods for Hyperion and his followers, dubbed 'Ambrosia'. A psychedelic with submissive effects, he would use this to control and bait his followers into remaining loyal and unquestioning his actions.

*StormCrow broke free of his shackles a few days before the year-end pay-per-view 'A Very AWF Christmas', and set alight Hyperion's church along with most of his community. This enraged not only Natasha and Kuroi but set Hyperion on the warpath. Unstable like never before, Hyperion entered into a battle at AVAC to defend his Prestige Title.

*He lost the match to Seth Dillinger, thanks to interference from StormCrow. This set him into a bigger fury, and he chased down StormCrow to the backstage area. He encountered StormCrow in the halls, and beat him to a pulp. Raising his iconic trident over his head, he plunged it into the chest/ shoulder of StormCrow in an attempt to kill him. At this same time, local police arrived on the scene and arrested Hyperion.

*He was brought before a judge on charges more than just assault- conspiracy of leading a cult and a handful of cult-related deaths at his command. Hyperion was convicted and sentenced to twenty five years behind bars.

*Five months later some cracks in the case are revealed, and Knox secures an early release.

*His first match after his release is the insanely intense Call to Arms tournament, putting his team of five against nine other teams of five.

*The biggest member of 'Team Fuck Mongo', he fought alongside Rat Bastard, Steve Awesome, Dylan Black and Jack Diamond to secure the victory of the tournament. Only Hyperion and Diamond survived until the end.


Since then he has wandered the roads between reality and delusion, looking for his next fight, trying desperately to shake off the voice of Hyperion in his mind. But deep down, James Knox realizes Hyperion will never leave him. So he fights, for control and for dominance. Of his mind, and the world.
