Isabel Rios [NPW] vs. Deco [J-ROK]
The Darkstars(c) vs. Solomon Graham & Danuwaanahili
North American Double Crown
Lethal Lottery Royal Rumble
No Time Limit
Dylan Black, "Timeless" Alex Turner, "The Real" Lord Dominicus, "The Only Star" Eric Dane, Maverick, Jesse Jamester, Scott Steel, Nemo, "The King" Brad Swann, Jay Stevens, "The Professional" Leon Van Zandt, "The One Man Dynasty" John Cavanagh "Your Canadian Hero" Jonnie Valentine
John Cavanagh grabbed Lord Dominicus bodily and started to once again use his size advantage over the smaller (but EVILERER) Lord Dominicus. As they moved to the ropes. You could also see the lightbulb go off in Lord Dominicus’ head. Using Cavanagh’s own momentum against him, rolls him through into a monkey flip. Kipping up and pointing to his own head (GENIUS!) while Cavanagh scrambled to his feet with the ropes.
Lord Dominicus used Dylan Black as a Launching pad!
SHINING EVIL WIZARD!!!
Cavanagh tumbled over the top rope as Lord Dominicus used his superior evil agility saving rolls to return to the ring unscathed!
**John Cavanagh eliminated by Lord Dominicus at 19:19**
Black who turned around at the cheek of being used as some type of launching pad, he IS the X*Crown champion after all, only saw Leon Van Zandt. Van Zandt is obviously not the sprightly high flyer would stoop to such levels, but the two men decided it would be better to lock up and wrestle it out.
Scott Steel noticing Eric Dane and Alex Turner taking time to gather their wind. Scott made the two steps over to shield Dane, and also asked him in a not indoor voice if Dane was okay. Dane nodded and waved the Mountain away.
Meanwhile, LVZ was showing Black several of his favorite catch wrestling moves. Black was no slouch and both men were trading counters, all while being mindful of the positioning they were working towards with the ropes.
[20:00] Nemo enters at #12
Nemo made his way to the ring with purpose. Lord Dominicus was taking this opportunity to try and woo The Gigantic Man to the EVIL side. Nemo jumped right into the middle of this situation. Both men slowly turned their heads to see Nemo standing in the ring. Nemo stared at them. They stared back before going after Nemo, who held his own! He traded blows with Lord Dominicus and The Mountain at the same time!
But you know how numbers work, and eventually Dominicus landed a solid elbow strike that put Nemo off-balance. Lord Dominicus pointed at Nemo and did his best to get Steel to do what Steel does best.
Eric Dane noticed this was having none of it! Dane scolded the big man and told him to get on Nemo who all this time had been recovering. Lord Dominicus and Dane got into an argument, the subject of which apparently being custody of Scott Steel! Dane jabbed a thumb through the eyeholes of LD’s mask and placed Dominicus in a textbook headlock. Nemo, utilizing strategy, kicked Steel in the shin gaining the momentary advantage over him.
Van Zandt had taken control of Dylan Black with his superior wrestling skills and after cinching in a tight hammer-lock he started to force Black over the top rope. With an adept catch of the foot. Van Zandt dumped Black over the top rope before turning his attention to Nemo who had decided to pick on someone much nearer to his size as Steel tried to rub some feeling into his repeatedly battered shin.
The X*Crown Champion, ever the sly veteran, managed to skin the cat and pull himself by the ring ropes right back into the ring and into the waiting, but decidedly not comforting arms of Alex Turner who began pummeling Dylan with fists and forearms a’plenty!
[22:00] Scott Steel (has already been in for 18 minutes)
For reasons, Scott Steel is still announced as entering the Battle Royal, with “Overkill” by Motorhead blasting. This causes some minor confusion allowing Dylan Black to take a much needed breather. Scott Steel, hearing theme music, not mindful it is his own, starts getting ready to rage with someone new.
Eric Dane and Lord Dominicus took this opportunity to brawl pushing each other back and forth for the necessary position of eliminating the other.
Nemo, in what some might call a mental lapse, chose to confront Scott Steel, by himself, actually verbally jabing the man about the eaten dog. Steel, who turned a noticeably new shade of red, grabbed Nemo by the throat. Nemo, realizing his now almost too precarious position, did what any good and reasonable man would do, he begged, classic style big gesticulations.
Unfortunately, The Mountain wasn’t even with him, easily lifting Nemo with one hand and hurling him like a shot put over the top rope. Nemo cleared the entire ring apron and came crashing down unceremoniously in a heap on the mats surrounding the ring. Steel continued to yell in his own language at Nemo, who was motionless on the outside.
**Nemo eliminated by Scott Steel at 25:52**
Leon Van Zandt took notice that Scott Steel, who nobody wanted to tangle with, was engaged in a war of words with an unconscious man. Sliding through the fray and taking advantage of leverage dumped a completely shocked Steel over the top rope, sending him unceremoniously on top of Nemo. Gus Arnold, prepared for this exact moment, sent down a small army of official looking types and mounties to wrangle Steel back up the ramp.
**Scott Steel eliminated by Leon Van Zandt at 26:17**
Dane and Lord Dominicus both took notice of what had just gone down. Dane was beside himself, and Dominicus had a quizzical look on his… mask. It didn’t take long, however, before Dane shrugged it off and jabbed a thumb into his eye, kicked him in the dick, and unloaded on the (second) most EVIL man in Northern Pro Wrestling with a vicious, eye-crossing, teeth-chattering Starbreaker Knee!
Leon Van Zandt, ready to go back to work, went to take himself another shot at Dane when he was blindsided by Alex Turner who had left Dylan Black in a heap in the opposite corner. Dane recovered from LVZ’s initial burst and joined Timeless in pummeling the grappler until the two of them figured they could get Van Zandt up and over and continue with their own issues. It wasn’t easy, and it wasn’t pretty, but finally with the combined might of both men’s cunning, including a couple of low punches by Timeless and Dane biting the hand that Van Zandt had an iron grip on the rope with, the two of them managed to eliminate the newcomer before both of them collapsed into the two opposing corners on their side of the ring.
**Leon Van Zandt eliminated by Dane/Turner at 29:08**
Across from them Lord Dominicus was shaking loose the cobwebs, and Dylan Black had pulled himself up and had a mighty determined look plastered across his face.
The Final Four were set, and it was just about to get wild!
The final four men had no doubt earned their place. After what has been an incredible night up until this point, was only fit to get better. Three of the pillars of Northern Pro Wrestling were still alive, and mixed with the fact that the current X*Crown Champion was still in the match meant that the cream truly rose to the top in this contest.
Timeless and Eric Dane paired off, while LD and Black paired off, and the fight was on. The crowd were on their feet, knowing full well that one of these men was set to leave the ring with the North American Double Crown championship in tow.
Timeless nearly eliminated Dane, after a huge clothesline, but Dane crumpled to the apron and rolled under the bottom rope. Meanwhile. Dylan Black was doing his best to eliminate Lord Dominicus. Timeless thought that he had eliminated Dane, so he turned his back to focus on the other two.
Timeless dove right in, as he saw LD hanging on for dear life. Timeless started working with Dylan Black, edging LD closer and closer to elimination. Eric Dane had dusted himself off, took a deep breath and marched to the other side of the ring. He actually tried to dump all 3 men out at the same time!
What ended up happening though, as LD saw Dane's charge, and he wrapped his legs around Dylan Blacks Neck. Dane charged and looked to dump both Timeless and Black from behind. Dane's efforts were rewarded as his efforts coupled with LD's quick thinking actually forced Dylan Black and Timeless out of the match at the same time!
The Bell Rang!
DING DING DING!!
Timeless and Black had fallen to the floor side by side, and both could be seen arguing with the other. Eric Dane looked down, and shouted some obscenities in their direction. These comments fired both men up, and they started brawling with one and other on the outside!!! The X*Crown Champion, and the soul of Northern Pro Wrestling were swinging with bad intentions. The NPW security team was on it, and did their best to get in between both men.
Meanwhile, Lord Domincus had rolled back into the ring, nd crept up behind Dane and Dropkicked him out of the ring!
Lord Dominicus started jumping up and down, the fans were going CRAZY!
LD! LD! LD!
Eric Dane looked perturbed, as he looked over at Gus and asked him what 'the hell' was going on?
On the other side of the ring, Timeless and Dylan Black were brawling their way up the aisle, as NPW security did their best to prevent them from continuing - with very little luck.
In the ring, Lord Dominicus acted as if he was the winner - but it was here that Gus Arnold reminded the two remaining competitors that this match would be decided under traditional rules. Pinfall, Submission was the ONLY WAY to earn the North American Double Crown.
Eric Dane let out an arrogant laugh, and told LD he should read the rules a little closer next time. Undeterred, LD shot back and said that he was well aware, and he was merely playing a prank on 'The Only Star.'
Dylan Black & 'Timeless' Alex Turner were eliminated by Lord Dominicus & Eric Dane
Gus Arnold stepped into the ring, and asked for Lord Dominicus and Eric Dane to take opposite corners. Gus walked into the middle of the ring, and called for NPW's top official to come to the ring to officiate this singles contest between the final two.
DING DING DING
The crowd was white hot for this. After nearly two months of hype, the final two were about to mix it up. The current North American Cruiserweight Champion was going to test himself against a multiple time World Champion and Hall of Famer, by the name of Eric Dane.
When the two men locked up, Dane used his size to walk LD back into the ropes. In a sign of disrespect, Dane started to mess around with LD's mask. The crowd appears ready to hop the guard-rail and lend LD a hand. Dane's gesture fired LD up, as he fought his way off the ropes with strikes, which brought Dane down to one knee - and then hit a running knee lift that dropped Dane to the mat. LD stayed on top of Dane, mounting him with strikes, and forcing Dane to turtle up to block as many of them as he could.
The referee started to count, as Dane had grabbed the ropes in a last ditch effort to get LD off of him. The referee intervened, and while he did, Dane tried to grab LD"s leg to take him down. Dane held on tight, working LD down to the mat. LD showed he was well versed on the mat, by maintaining balance and jumping with a back kick that caught Dane flush in the sternum.
LD hit the ropes and hit Dane with a basement dropkick, followed by a pin attempt which resulted in a two count.
[Jesse Jamester.]
[Scott Steel.]
The two other members of the Syndicate walked toward ringside. This caught Gus' attention as he shifted in his chair nervously. Steel was shouting obscenities as saliva spouted every which way. 'JJ' looked cerebral, like a true cold hearted killer who was ready for action.
LD took a look, and had to feel instant pressure as the two Syndicate member circled the ring. LD asked Steel how Little Eric and Lord Dogminicus were doing, which suddenly snapped him out of his blind rage. Dane was feeding off of the energy of his crew being at ringside, as it brought his morale all the way up.
When Dane and LD locked up again, a short knee to the gut from Dane, followed by a flowing DDT followed. JJ rubbed his hands together in delight, as Steel started shouting about lord knows what. Dane pulled the referee in close and started complaining, this allowed JJ to rare back and blister LD with a stuff right hand.
Dane laughed and looked down at Gus, and said "It's no DQ, right?"
Gus was ready to jump in the ring himself to even the score. Dane executed a butterfly suplex on LD and floated over for the pin.

NO!
LD rolled the shoulder, which brought the crowd to their feet. The North American Cruiserweight Champion wanted to spread EVIL throughout the holidays, but he couldn't have imagined that EVIL forces seemed to working against him as the Syndicate seemingly had a major advantage in this spot. They had stuck together throughout the Lethal Lottery match, they had laid waste to many wrestlers on the path to this very moment, and nobody had been able to turn them back.
The crowd were doing all they could to will Lord Dominicus back to his feet and to give him a fighting chance of making a comeback.
LD could feel their energy, as he started to club away on Dane, as Dane grabbed his mask to jerk him into position for what appeared to be a Star Driver. LD was defiant, and when Dane picked him up LD scooted out the back door, hit the ropes and caught Dane with a Tornado DDT!
The crowd exploded, and we watched as Scott Steel grabbed his ears and threatened as many fans as he could within ear shot.
LD hit the ropes again, and launched himself over the top rope and caught an unsuspecting Jesse Jamester with a flying forearm strike, that sent him backwards into the guardrail. LD was lightening on his feet, and taunted Scott Steel by yipping like a Corgi. Steel turned his head, as if to suggest that he could understand 'dog barks and yips'. This sort of rocked Steel to sleep for a moment, keeping the monster at bay, as LD rolled back into the ring just in time to catch Dane with a running bicycle kick, followed by a pinfall.

2....
TH-NO!
Eric Dane was able to kick out before the three.
The North American Cruiserweight Champion was on fire, and the fans were really believing in him. In an honest moment, LD looked into the crowd, who were ready to jump the guard rail to protect him if he needed them. Instead of embracing it, LD told them all to shut up or he would cast an EVIL spell on them all.
That didn't change their minds - but at least LD was able to get back to his evil ways with little regret.
As Dane was coming to, he was met with a kick to the gut, followed by a SNAP DDT from LD. LD floated over for the cover, and nodded his head as the referee's hand slapped the canvas.

Jamester pulled the referee's leg, interrupting the count. Gus immediately stood up, and asked the referee to ask JJ to leave the ring area, at which point the referee turned his back. Steel blinked ferociously, before sliding in a pair of brass knuckles to Dane. Dane slid them on his hand, and when LD turned around after watching Gus admonish JJ. WHAM!
Dane caught LD clean.
Dane tossed the Knux back to Steel, who somehow knew what to do with them. He launched them into the crowd, never to be seen again. JJ told Gus to look in the ring, where LD was out cold, and Dane was in the midst of picking him up. The referee turned around, and watched as Eric Dane lifted LD up, and drove him down to the mat with a vicious Star Driver. The referee was in position to make the count.

Sigh.
DING DING DING.
Your winner and NEW North American Double Crown Champion - 'The Only Star' Eric Dane (48:23)
Eric Dane raised his hand, as a smirk curled over his lips. Gus looked around in shock, as JJ entered the ring and lifted Dane from a seated position, and dusted him off. Dane got in Gus' face and told him to fetch him 'his' championship. Dane then went on a tirade, telling Gus that this championship was 'his' all along, and after jumping through all of these hoops - Gus and Northern Pro Wrestling were right back to where they started.
Gus didn't take too kindly to the tone in which Dane was speaking to him. Through gritted teeth, Gus grabbed the Championship Belt and the Haliburton full of cash and walked up the stairs. He looked over at Lord Dominicus who hadn't moved an inch since the pinfall.
As Gus was about to present Dane with the championship, Scott Steel Snatched it and handed it to Dane instead. Jesse Jamester took the Haliburton briefcase, and held onto it for the 'champ.'
The three members of the Syndicate raised their hands in unison, as Steel presented Dane with the championship.
Just then, Lord Dominicus started to stir, as EMT's were set to hit the ring to check on him. Instead, Scott Steel executed a big foot to the first EMT on the scene, clearing him flush out of the area. The rest of the EMT's backed way, not wanting to enter the ring at this point in time. As 'LD' started to come to, Dane nodded to 'JJ' at which point Jamester picked LD up and tied him up in the ring ropes.
Dane: "Hey Scott, with it being Christmas and all... Lord Dominicus has another present for you."
Steel's eyes light up with joy. He starts looking around the ring like a child on Christmas morning.
Dane: "It's under his mask, Scott."
The fans gasped, as Scott Steel approached a helpless Lord Dominicus. 'JJ' was egging Steel on, telling him how shiny the present was.
Dane: "That's right Scott. Unwrap his mask!"
Jamester held LD's arms back, but it was unlikely he was going to be able to fend off this 3 on 1 attack after what had just taken place, and with his arms tied up in the ropes.
[Jay Stevens.]
RAAAAAAAHHHHH~!
Stevens sprinted to the ring. Eric Dane saw him coming, and motioned for Steel and Jamester to keep their eyes on Stevens.
Stevens: "I can't let you do this, Unk."
Dane: "That's not your call, now is it?"
Both Steel and 'JJ; take an ambitious step towards Stevens, who keeps his eyes fixated on Dane.
Stevens: "I grew up watching you end careers, and humiliate those who crossed you."
Dane: "What's your point?"
Dane slapped the North American Double Crown over his shoulder.
Dane: "This championship says that I can do whatever I want, whenever I want."
Dane motions for Steel to rip off LD's mask once again.
As Steel moves in that direction, Jay Stevens stands in between Steel and Lord Dominicus.
The fans applaud Jay's guts, but they also fear the worst.
Stevens: "I said, I can't let you do this."
Other than eliminating Stevens from the match, which Eric would chalk up to collateral damage - Dane hasn't ever laid his hands on Stevens in an aggressive manner. But that doesn't mean he was above having someone else do it for him. With a quick lift of his eyebrow, Jesse Jamester blindsided Jay Stevens with a nasty short arm clothesline.
Dane motioned for JJ and Steel to pick him up. Eric Dane got right int Jay's face.
Dane: "I offered to help you. Is this how you decide to show your gratitude?"
Dane uses his right hand to smush Jay's cheeks together.
Dane: "Drive him to the canvas and make it so he won't be able to walk for a week."
Steel and JJ smirk and are set to do just that.
[Bryan Chase.]
Chase is no stranger to Eric Dane and Scott Steel, having been laid out backstage at the 2nd Chance event. Chase hit the ring to break up the double power bomb attempt, and Chase and Stevens started to fire up against Steel and Jamester.
Their offence didn't last long, As Dane dropped the championship in the corner, and executed a running knee into the back of Bryan Chase. It was 3 on 2, because Lord Dominicus still wasn't able to free himself from being tied up.
We watched as Gus Arnold waved to the backstage area, seemingly trying to get someone's attention. Within moments, Liam Beesley pushed through the curtain, but he wasn't alone.
[Joseph Mack.]
Gus Arnold and Liam Beesley are both very high on this talented young grappler who's been tearing apart the indies throughout Canada and the Northeast.
The psyique is something to admire, and Mack brings with him some excellent size and strength. Like a lineman rushing a quarterback, Mack sprinted down the aisle and went right for Eric Dane.
RAAAAAHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
The crowd was electric.
The North American Double Crown Champion took some heavy shots from Mack. Once Dane had dropped to the canvas, Mack took the right to Scott Steel alongside Bryan Chase. This resulted in a double clothesline which sent Steel to the outside.
Jay Stevens was starting to get the best of Jesse Jamester, and a running clothesline sent him to the canvas. There was finally something to cheer for, as The Syndicate had been promptly put back on their heels.
Mack, Chase and Stevens released LD from the ropes, but the 'NACWC' as still feeling the after effects of brass knuckles and a Star Driver.
Scott Steel is foaming at the mouth, and wants to get back in the ring to continue the fight. Much to everyone's surprise, Joseph Mack took a step forward and dared Steel to enter the ring. Stevens kept his eyes glued on Eric Dane, ready to call an audible should 'The Only Star' decide to send his crew after them one more time.
Bryan Chase looked as game as ever, keeping his eyes on Jesse Jamester, who was an absolute menace throughout the night.
Lord Dominicus was shaking the cobwebs, and seemed uncomfortable for a variety of reasons. Perhaps it was falling 'just short' of his goal to be the ONLY Singles Champion in Northern Pro Wrestling. Perhaps it was the overwhelming support that the fans seemed to be tossing his way. However, it would be accurate to surmise that he is the lesser of the two evils. Then of course, it was the fact that three members of the Northern Pro locker room felt compelled to put a stop to The Syndicate's plans of unmasking him, and humiliating him even further.
Nothing could've been as shocking as Jay Stevens being the first man out. Stevens has long been pegged as a top challenger to Lord Dominicus' North American Cruiserweight Championship - yet there he was. He was willing to step in front of two imposing figures, as well as the diabolical Eric Dane, who he has referred to as 'family' in the past.
At this point, Eric Dane picked up the North American Double Crown where he has positioned it, and draped it over his shoulder. 'JJ' reached under the bottom rope to grab the briefcase full of cash, and the two of them did all they could to prevent Scott Steel from powerbombing the entire ring.
Dane pointed his finger in Steven's direction - sending a stern warning that this wasn't over between them.
Once it was clear that the fight was over, Eric Dane raised his newly won championship over his head at the top of the ramp, as the Syndicate disappeared behind the curtain.
As the other four men stood inside of the ring, the crowd chanted - THANK YOU! - THANK YOU!
Bryan Chase and Joseph Mack exchanged a handshake, as Mack's presence is what turned the tide in their favour for good. Mack and Chase patted Jay on his back, and applauded his leadership for being the first man out of the locker room to 'do the right thing.'
All three of them looked back at Lord Dominicus. Before they could offer anything in the way of words, 'LD' exited the ring and kept his eyes on them. LD seemed to be reluctant to thank anyone, or offer any semblance of camaraderie.
Lord Dominucus hopped the guard rail and exited through the crowd, knowing full well he didn't want to run into The Syndicate backstage.
The final shot of the evening was of the series of events that Lead to Eric Dane winning the North American Double Crown.

[1 hour before bell time, prior to the fans being allowed inside of the Powerade Centre.]
[The arena is dark and there is a flash of light and Dark Stars and Dark Novas appear in the ringside area. They are looking around at the empty seats as if it's nothing special and just a familiar sight. They see the ring being set up.]
Commandrix: "We have arrived at your place of combat."
Niko: "Seems like any ordinary venue of combat only smaller."
Kono: "So where are our opponents."
Commandrix: "The event does not occur until this evening."
Niko: "They seem to be having trouble setting up this thing called a ring."
Kono: "Might as well get a workout before our match."
Commandrix: "They know what they are doing and don't need us to do anything to assist in assembling this ring."
Terminatrix: "I am scanning this arena to see if there are any threats to the competitors."
Commandrix: "The competitors are threats to each other."
Terminatrix: "There seems to be some strange beings heading our way at a quick pace."
[The Dark Stars unsheathe their weapons.]
Kono: "Let them come and we'll deal with them."
(A light and voices appear and The Dark Stars are ready to strike until Commandrix stops them as a Reporter and cameraman appear and they angrily put their weapons away.)
Commandrix: "Identify yourselves and the purpose of your incursion."
Reporter: "We're from the NPW's broadcast network and we're here to interview you."
Terminatrix: "He tells the truth since he's part of the CBC Canadian Broadcast Company."
Commandrix: "To what do we owe this honor."
Reporter: "Well what are your thoughts about your championship victory."
Niko: "You know what we think. After what we've been through the past year. We were on the verge of glory in the PSW, which was located here too, but then someone ruined the promotion and we became like pariahs. During this past year we were kicked around, ignored, treated like we weren't good enough but thanks to one Gus Arnold. We got to show what we are truly made of."
Reporter: "There are still rumors about Cosmo Kid."
Kono: "DON'T YOU EVER TALK VENOMOUS ABOUT COSMO KID!"
Commandrix: "Stand down Kono."
[Kono steps back.]
Commandrix: "Let's set the record straight. Cosmo Kid did everyone good in the PSW and the promotion was doing good until one man ruined this great promotion and it wasn't Cosmo Kid. He was a competent leader and we pledged our loyalty to him and certain shoed no loyalty and decided to further themselves athis expense with slanderous comments. We owe our beginnings to him and the PSW."
Reporter: "There are some in NPW who think that you didn't earn the championships."
[Commandrix signals The Dark Stars to stand down.]
Commandrix: "In case you remember or were watching the former champions foolishly issued an open challenge and we answered the challenge. That is what gladiators do. That is what The Dark Stars do and that is accepting challenges and delivering brutality to the most maximum level."
Reporter: "Well there's a lot of teams that are out to get you."
Niko: "You know what? Bring it on because we'll wrestle anyone whether it's this Church of Desolation. We don't care if it's the Toronto Blue Jays, Ottawa Senators or even Toronto Raptors."
Reporter: "Those aren't tag teams."
Kono: "We could care less about that. The fact is we don't care who we face in the ring as long as we have someone who's on the opposite side of the ring and the bell rings. We don't care how tough they are or their so-called reputation. The Dark Stars don't back down from no opponent and never do."
Niko: "That's true fighting champions. They don't back down and if a challenge is made it has to be accepted. It doesn't take opponents to put you in submission holds and demand you sign the contract to defend the championship. We answer the challenge, show up for the match and defend our championships. That is Shaakar's will and that is our will too."
Reporter: "Everyone is wondering who is Shaakar."
Niko: "He is our leader and has great wisdom and we abide by his laws and compassion."
Kono: "Nobody says anything bad about our leader and if you even try and you shall see what we do when you speak ill of Shaakar."
Reporter: "Tonight you face Solomon Graham and Danuuwaahili for your NPW Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships."
Niko: "If you think we intend to underestimate any opponent whether they are newcomers or an established team. It doesn't even matter to us and we don't care at all. We do our business in the ring and we settle our issues in the ring."
Kono: "It's like being in a coliseum in the ancient Roman or Greek times where the brutality was ultimate back then. Now do you think that we intend to be the opposite of gladiators. No we aren't. Do you think we care about what we do to our opponents. Do you think we care who they are. The answer to both questions is no. We are gladiators in the ring and tonight is going to be no exception."
Reporter: "If you win tonight who's your next opponents."
Commandrix: "We already answered that question. Right now we're out of here."
[The Dark Stars glare ominously at the Reporter as they leave as the scene slowly fades to black.]

Gus Arnold walks to the ring, and he is greeted with a positive response from the Northern Pro faithful. Once the applause has died down, Gus begins to speak.
Gus welcomed everyone to Crowning of a Champion II, and called it a momentous step in the right direction as we head into 2021. Gus said that he would be at ringside for tonight's main event, and would present the winner of the Lethal Lottery with the brand NEW North American Double Crown. Gus said that he was ecstatic with the level of coverage the event has, and for all of the hardwork and dedication put forth by the competitors.
Gus said that he was also there to make an announcement in regards to the Main Event to the 'Northern Pro Does New Years Event'. Gus said that Dylan Black has been making his rounds throughout the various promotions under the XHF banner, and that Northern Pro Wrestling was set to be his next stop/ Gus reminded everyone that Dylan Black was indeed in the Lethal Lottery, and was one of the competitors vying for the North American Double Crown - that he was also going to be using his time in Northern Pro Wrestling to scout out a potential challenger.
After discussing things with Dylan, as well as ironing out the details with the XHF Front office - I can now announce that the main event on December 31st will be...

[RAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!]
Gus waited for the fans to calm down, as this was indeed a monumental Main Event. Also, Gus believed it was a sign that Northern Pro Wrestling had turned the corner in it's outlook and was now viewed as major impact player in the world of professional wrestling.
Upon the announcement of the X*Crown Championship match that is set to take place on New Years Eve - Eric Dane, Scott Steel and Jesse Jamester made their way out from the back, and walked the aisle towards the ring. Based on Gus' body language, he had anticipated this - but that didn't stop him from keeping a watchful eye on the trio as they walked towards the ring.
When they arrived, Dane smiled, as the two big men stood behind him. Dane extended his hand, to which Gus responded by handing him the mic. At this point, the crowd fell silent, and awaited what was to come. Gus looked the trio up and down, before he exited the ring.
'The Only Star' talked at length about loyalty, and how in his 20+ years in this business, he seldom found loyalty of any kind. Dane reminded the crowd that it was hard for anyone to remain loyal to him, because he was always willing to cast the next man aside for his own gain.
At this point in his career, Dane felt that preserving himself for one last major 'run' was of the utmost importance. While there wasn't much that he hasn't already accomplished in this 'business' - Dane said that his competitive spirit was still burning deeply. Which brought Dane to his point - he stepped aside to allow Scott Steel and Jesse Jamester to walk forward. Both men were a sight to see - towering over Dane, who was no small man in his own right.
Dane pointed to the two men, putting each of them over for their loyalty, and for putting themselves in the position to be successful. At which point, Eric Dane said that going forward there was a force in Northern Pro Wrestling that wasn't to be trifled with. Dane went onto place the name of 'The Syndicate' on the three of them.
The crowd met this announcement with displeasure. Deep down, they could feel that Eric Dane was building a protected force field around him.
To close out the segment, Dane declared that he was going to win the Lethal Lottery later on in the show, and that The Syndicate would showcase true teamwork throughout the match. Dane rubbed his hands together, and the cockiest smile imaginable curled over his lips.
At which point, The Three Members of the Syndicate raised their hands in unison, before exiting the ring.

Cruiserweight Cup Preview
20 Minute Time Limit
Black Diamond vs. Bryan Chase
As the Syndicate left, we couldn't help but notice the built in tension, as Bryan Chase made his way to the ring. He kept looking behind him, knowing That Eric Dane, Scott Steel & Jesse Jamester had just left the ringside area. If you recall, it was at the 2nd chance event, that Dane and Steel beat Bryan Chase down backstage, and did so to lure Dylan Black into their web. Chase was unable to compete in the battle royal later on that evening. Based on how he was carrying himself, he seemed to be 100% healthy, and ready to put that situation behind him, while still keeping tabs on his tormentors.
The month of January has become synonymous with the Cruiserweight Cup since the Inception of Northern Pro Wresting. This year will be no different, as eight men from within the promotion, as well as some valued guests will all compete in a round robin tournament. The winner of the tournament will challenge for the XHF Jr. Heavyweight Championship. Besides the prestige of being considered the top man i the weight class, there is the extra incentive of a championship opportunity hanging in the balance.
This contest was would preview two very skilled competitors who use opposing styles to defeat their opponents. Black Diamond was signed to Northern Pro Wrestling with a strong reputation from his homeland. Bryan Chase has been turning heads from the moment he set foot inside of the organization - which also included a fantastic showdown with X*Crown Champion; Dylan Black.
Chase's catch wrestling was on full display in this contest. The ability to super and then hold 'BD' down, before transitioning into a trap hold was mystifying to the eye. Chase nearly took Black Diamond's arm with a KIMURA from the top position after he executed a beautiful Michinoku Driver. Diamond was able to roll through, and used proper leverage to sneak out of the grasp of Chase.
BD took to the air when he could, using his incredible athleticism to keep his opponent off guard. The fans seemed intrigued with BD's ability. At one point near the conclusion of the match, BD seemed to want to show off in front of Gebin, whom he assumed he might be inside of the ring with at some point or another. His lack of focus would prove costly, as when BD hit the top rope, the split second he took his eyes off of Chase, was all he needed to move out of the way of a frog splash attempt.
Chase then took to executing a few head stomps, that really seemed to rattle BD. Chase then transitioned quickly into his "Face lift" finisher, that he got all of! The referee was in position to make the count, and Chase hooked the leg, while the referee counted to three.
Winner: Bryan Chase via Face Lift - (8:12)
Bryan Chase leaned into the crowd, as he tends to do after a successful victory. The fans were really starting to choose him as one of their favourites based on how he has carried himself since arriving in Northern Pro Wresting. A solid win over a man with a big time reputation bodes well for Bryan Chase as he heads into The Cruiserweight Cup.
Once Chase had left the ringside area, The Black Diamond was getting to his feet. He was disappointed, as he dropped off the apron. He did so, right near where Gebin was sitting at ringside. Gebin smiled, knowing full well that his presence was a distraction. It appeared as though Black Diamond wanted to get his hands on Gebin, but the ringside officials wouldn't allow it.
Point taken and message sent from both parties' perspective. Based on the rumours, we've heard that Gebin was set to represent FIRESIDE at the Cruiserweight Cup. Black Diamond's inclusion was believed to be a slam dunk, but after this loss to Bryan Chase - that may no longer be the case.

Isabel Rios walks backstage wearing a black hoodie with the High Voltage™ energy drink logo on the back over her ring gear, carrying a plastic bag as she glances around before stopping a backstage worker.
Isabel: “Have you seen Lord Dominicus anywhere?”
The worker points down the hall, Isabel offering a thumbs up before continuing on her way, stopping before a locker room with an aura of… evil. She shrugs and knocks, stepping back as the door opens and the masked head of the DARKEST POINT IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE extends out.
LD: WHY DO YOU SUMMON ME!? WHO ARE YOU!? Wait…you look familiar…
Isabel: “Hey, so the dog thing? Total evil, great work. The kids are ignoring their chores to play with it, my cousin has to vacuum the house twice as often to deal with the dog hair, her husband smashed his thumb with a hammer when he was building a dog house for it, just top notch evil. Anyway, the kids wanted me to give you these.”
She reaches into the bag, producing a large, festively decorated, round tin container.
Isabel: “Chocolate chip cookies, really good ones too. I think their grandma must’ve done the baking ‘cause their mom would not have done this for you, trust me.”
LD: Ah yes, the dog. I am glad to hear he is making their lives miserable. TIS THE SEASON FOR EVIL, afterall. Are these evil cookies?
Isabel: “…Maybe?”
Lord Dominicus looks Rios up and down, then quickly snatches the cookies out of her hand.
LD: I will test these IMMEDIATELY!
He opens the container and begins cramming cookies into his mouth under the mask.
Isabel: “... right, well, I’ve gotta go warm up for my match. Deco’s not gonna drop herself on her head. Well, she probably won’t. It'd make my life easier if she did. Anyway, keep up the evil work!”
With that Isabel turns to walk away, flipping her hood up and starting to stretch her arms as she walks.
LD: OM NOM NOM YES! These shall do quite well in giving me the strength to DOMINIDOMINATE NPW! I SHALL REMEMBER THEE, ISABEL’S RELATIVES GRANDMOTHER!

Special Challenge Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Primal vs. Nicholas Windsor
In the second match of the evening, the crowd was treated to another stylistic match up from polar opposite sides of the spectrum. Windsor would use a more traditional technical style, which has propelled many athletes to the top of the marquee. Primal is much more unpredictable, the type of man who might prefer to use his own body as a weapon to inflict pain and suffering to those who oppose him.
After these two clashed in the 2nd chance battle royal, it seemed only fitting to allow these two to compete under more traditional rules, and see which of the two would climb that next ladder rung on their way to the top.
Windsor was on the attack early, thankfully for him - Primal decided to shower for this match, which he dubbed a 'black tie affair.' We will have to ask Windsor after the match if Primal's breath reeked of corndog. Primal showed great instincts inside of the ring, finding ways to work his way out of Windsor's ground attacks. Windsor did his best to stiffen Primal up with chops and strikes in the corner, but this seemed to be something Primal enjoyed. As Windsor amped up with force, Primal started to laugh.
Windsor then took Primal over, and took his arm, working a cross arm breaker. Primal wasn't laughing nay longer. in fact he was struggling to get his foot under the bottom rope to force the referee to break the hold. After a few moments of struggle, Primal was able to do just that. After the hold was broken, Primal stomped around the ring on the outside, and was doing his best to 'scare' some of the fans, by feinting like he was willing to climb the guardrail.
The referee kept the count going, and Primal waited until 9, before rolling back into the ring. Windsor thought he might've gotten off cheap with a win there, but Primal showed more presence of mind than many might give him credit for. Perhaps Primal is an evil genius - his reputation says so, but to the Northern Pro Wrestling faithful, he's a wild man who is completely unpredictable.
When they locked up again, Primal through his head into Windsor's jaw, stumbling him. Primal then worked an exploder suplex out of nowhere - showing some true strength and technical prowess. Primal then clasped his hands around Windsor and brought him down hard with a T-Bone suplex.
The crowd bustled as Primal was really showcasing himself. A half nelson/suplex driver followed, and it appeared to knock Windsor out. Primal held the position for the pinfall, and the referee made the count and awarded the match to Primal.
Winner: Primal via Half Nelson Suplex/Driver (7:33)
Primal stuck around to admire his work. After a slow start he was able to turn it around and clinch his first singles victory in the promotion over a competitor that Gus Arnold is very high on - Nicolas Windsor. The referee warned Primal not to continue his onslaught, as the match was no over. Primal grinned manically, before exiting the ring area.

30 Minute Time Limit
Isabel Rios [NPW] vs. Deco [J-ROK]
The spectacle of the inter-promotional match for the evening was on the horizon as music sounded throughout the arena. Fans in batches all over the place, sparing no expense with their signs in the air for their respective favorites. NPW’s native Isabel Rios would make her way to the ring, with an air of confidence in her stride. The fierce stare she had for the ring was a look of preparedness for this grueling bout she would endure. Isabel displayed the fitness and athleticism of an Olympian, with thighs that would crack a coconut without breaking a sweat. Stepping into the ring, Isabel takes to the turnbuckle and points around the arena as she strikes a pose as phones flashed for pictures.
"Demons” by Sleighs bells slammed through the PA system next, as the challenger, hailing from J-ROK, dressed to fight with her fists taped up, walked out of the curtain. Deco had arrived in the great northern territory and let the fans know that it didn’t matter where she was from – she meant business. Her graffiti style themed robe sparkled under the lights as she walked. The South Korea native took her time to get to the ring, making Rios wait for their anticipated clash.
Isabel Rios and Deco would take to their respective corners, as the referee provided the rules, laying out what she expected of these two competitors this evening. 30 minute time limit, pinfall or submission, count outs applied, and after a routine check to make sure of no foul play or hidden weapons, the referee signaled for the bell and they were off to the races!
The two circled the ring feeling out one another, Isabel Rios looking confident she would overpower Deco with the elbow collar tie up, yet Deco would reverse it and slip behind her, before tripping her to the mat, and hooking a headlock on. Rios responded by forcing Deco off the mat and then shooting her into the ropes, slamming a stiff shoulder to send Deco to the canvas. The J-ROK star didn’t let the power of Rios bother her, and instead stiff kicked Rios knee and returned with a sweeping leg trip!
Deco reacted quick by slinging off the ropes and delivering a hellacious knee to the upper torso of Isabel Rios. Rolling over her with the momentum, she would shoot to the middle rope and lion sault to Rios, but nobody was home! Rios rolled out of the way at the last minute. Rolling to a knee, Rios waited for Deco to reach her own knee before latching the neck and dropping her with a short impact DDT! Rolling Deco over, she hooked the leg, but only got a one count.
Isabel would display her power, by lifting Deco from the ground and straddling Deco on her shoulders in a fireman carry. With one swift move Rios would send Deco off her shoulders for a death valley driver! Deco instead landed on her feet, and fired back with a quick kick to the thigh of Rios, followed by a chop, and a round house wheel kick that took both women off their feet!
Deco landed next to Rios, and immediately latched on an armbar, maintaining control and grounding her opponent. Deco had the speed advantage, and knew she had to ground Rios or else she would be playing to Rios’ strength all night. You could hear the screaming squeal of Rios as Deco wrenched back on her arm, and fans were behind it! The two women were fighting like their lunch money was stolen from the other, and they had something to prove.
Rios would break the hold by grabbing the bottom rope. Deco beat Isabel Rios to her feet and went for her signature move, Tag and Bag, but Rios had it scouted or was playing possum at the ropes, and sent Deco to the outside ring area, using her own momentum to do so. Rios climbed the top rope and perched waiting for her spot, as Deco turned around Rios would launch herself off the top and deliver a hellacious Meteora! Deco would hit the ground hard, Isabel Rios would roll into the guard rail with her momentum, laying there motionless on the outside were both women, as the referee began the ten count.
At the six count, Isabel would use the guard rail to climb to her feet, shaking the cobwebs lose. Deco was stirring. Grabbing Deco by the hair, Isabel Rios would stumble towards the apron, her footing off, and roll Deco into the ring to break the count. Fans in the audience were chanting for Rios, their NPW native, which must have lit the fire in Deco. Rios lifted Deco up but would get no further as Deco elbowed her in the gut and followed up with swift strikes, each mounting more momentum as she gained that second come back. Launching herself into the ropes as Rios appeared dazed from the forearm smash, Deco delivered a high cross body into a pinfall!
One! Two! Shoulder up! The air in the arena felt lighter after that one, as fans could be heard exhaling on such a close fall. Deco began to pick apart the upper body of her opponent, seizing control of the arm she worked on earlier, Deco grabbed the wrist and bent it backwards, before delivering multiple kicks to the shoulder and chest of Isabel Rios. Every kick met with a noise from Deco, who was gaining control.
Deco pulled Rios up to her knees using the wrist she controlled, and leaned back, targeting the head, she delivered a hellacious kick that looked to almost fade Isabel Rios, who crumbles backwards near the corner of the ring. Deco sees the opportunity, wasting no time she ascended to the top turnbuckle and eyed up her target laying in front of her.
dotHACK delivered by Deco off the top rope! The fans gasp, as this would spell the end for many a wrestlers who have faced Deco. Covering Rios for the pinfall, Deco leaned on her upper body with all her weight.
One! Two! Foot on the rope!
Rios instinctively got her boot on the bottom rope, causing frustration in Deco who slaps the canvas as she stood up and held up three fingers to the referee. The referee shook her head, explaining that the boot went up at the last second and it was very close, but Rios didn’t appear to even know she did it, as she laid their motionless on the mat, still in la la land from the dotHack.
Shaking her head, Deco mouths something and turns back to Isabel Rios. Reaching down she would lift the dazed competitor up by her arm, stiff kick to the chest, and a second, and a third, this sent Rios into the corner. Deco looked back and then ran to the opposite corner, before full steam ahead running at Isabel Rios and launching herself into the corner with a spinning wheel kick, but Rios catches her! Deco’s eyes would light up in shock, as Rios somehow found the strength to catch her in mid air before dropping her into a backbreaker on her knee! Deco rolled away from Rios, who was reeling to gain her footing, the move she just delivered was out of desperation. Rios had taken a lashing from the arsenal of strikes and the speed of her opponent Deco.
Deco would get to her feet in the middle of the ring just as Isabel reached around her chest and under her arm. Exploder release suplex to Deco! Landing in the corner that Isabel just came out of, Deco appeared shaken from the impact. Isabel slams her hands down on the canvas, trying to find the energy after nearly 20 minutes of the match being surpassed.
Isabel Rios rose with purpose, stalking Deco who was using the ropes to stand up in the corner. Isabel clubbed the back of Deco and then grabbed her by the shoulder, hooking her neck under her arm. Walking backwards, she gets away from the corner and hooks Deco’s right leg, before delivering the Redtail driver! Cradling Deco between her legs for the pinfall!
One! Two! And with a shoulder at the last possible moment, Deco would break up the count and save the match. These two women were spent, both putting on a clinic and representing their brands with pride tonight. The fans in attendance cheered both women, as the chants went back and forth. Rios! Deco! Rios! Deco!
This continued until the crescendo of their rise, as fans cheered each woman on, they both began to throw jabs, Isabel with the upper hand, Deco fighting back with all her might. The fans roared as Rios would swing with a right and Deco ducked it and went under her arm, bouncing off the ropes, and returning to Rios who turned around. The burst of speed for Deco gave her all the momentum she needed, as she dropkicked Rios in the shins, dropping her to both knees. Deco slapped the canvas as she jumped up, her tank nearly on empty, and went for the Tag and Bag on Rios!
Alas, as Deco left her feet to hit the Shining Wizard, Isabel Rios launched up and countered with a reverse STO! Rios doesn’t let go, using thighs, Rios locked in the Koji Clutch on Deco!
Clawing at the canvas, Deco wants to get out of the hold in the worst way, as her vibrant hair and facial expressions paint the picture of what pure determination. Lifting a knee up, Deco appears to gain some traction, and goes to flip her body over and in turn roll Rios with her towards the ring ropes!
Deco headstands the matt and flips her body upside down, foot grazing the bottom rope, but Rios quickly adjusts and rolls her back on her stomach, maintaining the Koji clutch! Deco fights to hold on, but life seems to be fading and with one last ditch effort with her feet, she stretches out to try and touch the rope but taps the canvas when her foot hits the mat.
Unlocking the move at the sound of the bell, Isabel Rios drops to her back as the ring announcer stands at ringside to announce the winner.
Winner: ISABEL RIOS via Submission (28:19)
The referee leans over as Isabel rolls up to her knees, and grabbing Isabel’s hand, she begins to raise it, but Isabel grabs her shoulder and pulls herself up to her feet, leaning a bit on the referee before finally having her hand raised. Isabel holds her neck as well, knowing this fight was one that could have gone either way, and both competitors having left it all out in the ring. Deco began to climb to her feet in the other side of the ring, using the ropes to do so. Slumped over, she glanced over at Isabel who noticed her standing. The two exchange a look, before Isabel nods at Deco and mouths something. At first Deco doesn’t seem to know what she is saying, but then Isabel Rios offers the hand, and motions to Deco to come over.
Apprehensive, Deco hesitates for a moment but then meets her in the middle of the ring to return the handshake. Isabel Rios steps to the side, gesturing to the fans to give Deco a round of applause for the effort in what was an action-packed match.

In the bowels of the Powerade Centre, hidden away from the rest of the Championship Rumble participants, Jay Stevens tries to find some peace of mind ahead of the biggest match of his budding career. Strategizing with his teammates, Jordan Neal and Nicole Anderson, Stevens perks up when he notices that his bubble is about to burst.
The Only Star.
Eric Dane approaches with a confidence and relaxed gait befitting a multiple time World Champion. Jordan Neal is quick to his feet and puts himself between Dane and Stevens.
“Take it easy, kid,” Dane nods at Jay. “I’m just here to talk to your boy there.”
Dane can’t help but chuckle and give Neal a flippant scooting gesture with a raised hand. Neal ignores the gesture and puffs his chest up, crossing his arms and not allowing Dane to pass.
Dane: “Big man, I get it, you need to bow up in front of your little buddies here. But let me tell you this, my dick is much bigger than yours, and his...”
Casting a shadow over the large Jordan Neal is a difficult task, but Scott Steel easily eclipses all light as he enters to back up the double-hall-of-famer.
Dane: “His dick is bigger than you and your whole crew.”
Defiant, Neal holds his ground. Dane keeps his monster, chomping at the bit to destroy, at bay with just a nod in his direction. When Dane turns back he is met by the fireball, Nicole Anderson, as she steps in front of Neal.
Dane: “See, this I believe. Take notes kid, I can tell looking into her eyes that she might stab a mother…”
“Alright guys, chill out, Eric isn’t here to kill us...”
Jay Stevens chimes in as he approaches.
Stevens: “If he was, we’d already be dead, right?”
Dane winks at Neal and Anderson.
Dane: “Absolutely.”
Dane and Stevens shake hands and the Only Star pulls the rookie into an embrace the same way an older brother would his sibling. He starts walking Jay down the hall with his arm around his shoulder.
Dane: “Let’s have a chat, Jay."
The Only Star looks back at his Mountain, standing there sweating and snarling, all vascular like some kind of an (allegedly) all natural adonis.
Dane: “Scott, don’t eat the kids.”
Steel towers over the young wrestlers while Dane and Stevens talk in the distance.
Dane: “Now, I’ve known you for how long, kid?”
Stevens: “Since I was born.”
Dane: “Your pop still breaks out the Cubans I gave him the day you were born. I’ve seen you grow up, watched you watch us do all the stupid shit we ever did. Since then I’ve watched you try and make your own mark in this business and I can’t help but notice that you’ve gone and gotten yourself an immigration problem.”
He refers, of course, to Bloodline. Manuel Mayorga, Esteban Fuentes and Santiago Ortega have focused on Jay and made his life hell since he stepped foot into NPW. Having just cost Bloodline their coveted NPW Tag Team Championships only to see them immediately retaliate, their conflict would finally come to a head in a Loser Leaves Town match on New Year’s Eve.
Dane: “Ol’ Gus’ll never let the girl fight Bloodline, don’t matter how explosive of a firecracker she is, so you’re one short for the show. Seein’ as how we’re practically family and all, I’m willing to lend that big bastard over there to you for the night.”
Skeptical, Jay Stevens spins away from Dane and stands face to face with the legend.
Stevens: “Oh yeah? What’s in it for you?”
Feigning innocence, Dane shrugs.
Dane: “Why’s it gotta be like that?”
Stevens: “Because it usually is like that?”
Dane: “Fair enough. Look, I got the muscle, you need the muscle. It’s not rocket surgery.”
Stevens: “And what’s in it for you?”
Dane: “Common enemy. You get rid of Bloodline, I don’t have to keep my eye on those taco munchers. And when you’re done with them, maybe I find some space on the payroll for you and your little friends. You all got some balls on you, especially the girl.”
Stevens: “I appreciate the offer, but Jordan and I are going to beat them, just the two of us.”
Dane chuckles, unable to help himself.
Dane: “Kid, don’t be a prick. Didn’t your daddy teach you anything that I taught him? You never walk into a gunfight with less bullets in the clip than there are assholes in front of you. You want to go two on three when I’m telling you that I can not only even the odds, but tip them all the fucking way in your favor?”
Jay nods in the affirmative. Eric smacks his teeth, nodding and stifling a snarky retort before answering with as much positivity as he can muster.
Dane: “Like I said kid, you got a pair on you, and I can respect that. Tonight ain’t about that, though. Tonight’s about the Double-Crown, and that makes you my enemy.
The Antagonist winks.
Dane: Unless it doesn’t. Naw’mean?
Jay holds Dane’s glare.
Stevens: I’ll see you out there, Unc.
Dane nods and disengages, turning to leave.
Dane: That you will. Stick around for the party after, we got all kinds of champagne and beer. You know how it goes. Come on, Scott, save it for the Rumble.
Eric winks again and makes his exit with Steel in tow.

Imperial Crown Tag Team Championship Match
The Darkstars(c) vs. Solomon Graham & Danuwaanahili
The Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships have only changed hands on three occasions in the year and half of their existence. The status that goes along with holding onto these championships shouldn't be taken for granted, as the wars that have ensued to capture these titles have become the stuff of legend. The Imperial Crown Tag League took place over a month, and had six of the very best teams competing for the honour.
At this point, The Dark Stars are in possession of the championships, and are looking to carry the mantle forward. Some may point to the fact that Jay Stevens had a hand in the championships changing hands, but it was Bloodline who issued the challenge, and had their attempt at a blindside thwarted.
Since entering Northern Pro Wrestling - the Dark Stars and the Dark Novas have left their mark on the promotion. With the Dark Novas injuring Cassie Hunter and with this match on the horizon, it seemed as though the group had a lot of positive momentum working in their favour. This was the kind of match that would crystallize The Dark Stars as legit champions, as they were set to fend off the challenge from two men who have built a bond on friendship, who are both very legit competitors in their own right.
Danuwaanahilli and Solomon Graham have both yet to be pinned in Northern Pro Wrestling, and both men sport impressive resumes as they look to dethrone the current Champions.
The match was hard hitting, and we nearly saw a title switch within the first five minutes, as Solomon Graham had a hold of Kono's neck, and he appeared to be moments away from tapping, but Niko was able to make the save. In doing so, the referee admonished him but it kept the championships with them for the time being.
Danuwaanahili looked strong in this contest as well, the fire inside and the warrior spirit was ever present. He had moments where he took the air with grace, while also working a strong mat based attack that nearly bought his team a victory. The tide of the match would change after a sloppy transition on a double clothesline attempt from the challengers, which a blind tag was executed, and Danu ended up being blindsided by a slingshot spinning heel kick from Kono, who was entering the ring.
The referee counted to five, and pushed Sol to the outside. Behind the referee's back, The DarkStars executed a nasty spike pile driver to Graham. Kono made the cover, but they could only get a two count. The Dark Novas were at ringside, and they were shocked that Danu was able to kick out prior to the three count.
After a High.Low attack from the champions, Danu found himself in rough shape, but fought on, doing his best to inch his way to his corner for a hot tag.
After reversing an attempted German Suplex from Niko, Danu was able to go behind and execute one of his own. The release German Suplex bought him enough time to get to his corner, and make the tag to Solomon Graham. Sol has been on the cusp of championships in NPW in the past, and he looked to make good on this opportunity.
Graham was on fire, bouncing the champions all over the ring. It was a distraction from Terminatrix that allowed Kono to execute a low blow behind the referee's back. When the referee turned around, The Dark Stars had just promptly executed a double DDT. Niko held for the cover, but Danu rushed in the make the save.
This prompted Kono to hit the ring, and now all four men were fighting it out. The referee tried to separate the fight between Kono and Danu as neither of them were legal. Danu eventually relented, and was escorted out of the ring. Kono circled around and executed a Back Brain kick to Sol from behind, that stumbled him forward into a Brainbuster from Niko.
Sol looked like he was out of it. Niko made the legal tag to Kono, where the duo executed their 'Death Strike' finisher on Sol. Kono held for the cover, and Niko prevented Danu from entering the ring to break up the pinfall. The referee made the three count, and the Champions retained their Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships.
Winners and STILL Imperial Crown Tag Team Champions: The Dark Stars via Death Strike (16:34)
The referee handed the championships over to the Dark Stars, as they celebrated with their wives on the outside of the ring. This victory cemented The Champions as legit, and should've gone along way in striking fear in the hearts of potential challengers.
Kono and Niko raised their championships above their heads at the top of the aisle, as their wives fell all over them.

Liam said he would keep close tabs on things, to make sure nothing got too out of hand - what with the North American Double Crown on the line and a ring full of men who big egos who expect to be victorious.
Gus nodded his head, and said that he appreciated it. He said that this was his vision, and that he wanted to be there to present the championship and the money to the eventual winner.
Gus excused himself, knowing that he had a few media obligations to tend to before the end of the night. At which point, Liam took his cell phone out of his pocket and dialled.

North American Double Crown
Lethal Lottery Royal Rumble
No Time Limit
Dylan Black, "Timeless" Alex Turner, "The Real" Lord Dominicus, "The Only Star" Eric Dane, Maverick, Jesse Jamester, Scott Steel, Nemo, "The King" Brad Swann, Jay Stevens, "The Professional" Leon Van Zandt, "The One Man Dynasty" John Cavanagh "Your Canadian Hero" Jonnie Valentine
It had been building for months. Since that fateful first moment that Eric Dane set foot in an NPW ring. Since the night that he trounced Oxford Osland for the Canadian Commonwealth Championship and sent Osland packing to SWAT. Since Gordon Carlson decided that he needed to shoot his shot at The Only Star…
Since Timeless Alex Turner decided to turn this place on it’s ass.
Since the Lethal Lottery was announced, and the Double Crown conceived…
It’s all been building up to this!
And here…
We.
Go!
“Inception” by Hans Zimmer ripped through the building, and Maverick was out like a shot. The former X*Crown Champion was glowing green and red, Christmas colors, as he made his way to the ring quickly. He slapped a couple of hands down the entrance ramp but mostly just got booed by the Canadian fans.
[00:00] Maverick enters at #1
As soon as Maverick slid into the ring his music cut into the opening riffs of Slipknot’s “Disasterpiece.” The new music was accompanied by green and white lights flickering at the entrance. Out stepped the long haired grizzly vet, Jesse Jamester. Dressed in his black tights, knee brace on his left leg visible, white boots with black laces, with signature pistols on each boot, and pistols crossing on his crotch with the initials "JJ" between them. Fists taped up, black elbow pad on his right arm, the tattooed and scars visible from neck to abdomen. Jesse Jamester took his walk to the ring, soaking in the crowd who were quite a bit more excited to see him than they had been for Maverick. As he approached the ring side area, he stepped up on the second step of the ring steps, cracking his neck, shrugging the shoulders, he grabbed the middle rope and stepped between them, gliding into the ring in a fluid motion. He threw his fists up for a fight, before raising both arms up over his head as he leaned on the ropes facing the fans.
[00:00] Jesse Jamester enters at #2
The bell rang and both former champions circled. Maverick spent this time jacking his jaw, he talked more shit in the first twelve seconds of this rumble than he had in the past two weeks and the crowd had no problem turning on him immediately. Jamester, himself a former PTC Global Champion, was no stranger to the trappings of standing against a man who made a habit out of writing checks his ass wasn’t going to have the funds to cash.
They locked up, jostled for position for a moment before Jamester muscled the smaller man back into the corner and unleashed on him with chest-blistering overhand chop that left Mav howling in pain! Jamester pressed the advantage with his Deadly 7 striking combination that left the former X*C Champion on his ass after the finishing superkick!
Knowing what was coming next, Jamester backed off and allowed Maverick to get his bearings, or at least get to his feet before the coming onslaught.
[02:00] Eric Dane enters at #3
Everything went dark. A familiar shredding guitar brought Halford’s “The One You Love to Hate” into the ears of everyone within listening distance. A spotlight fell on Eric Dane standing at the top of the entrance with Scott Steel writing in anticipation one step behind him. The Only Star and The Mountain made their way to the ring to a cacophony of cheers to which Eric Dane made a point to mock and berate every single person who was cheering for them as they made their way toward the ring.
Steel grabbed the top rope and stepped up onto the apron easily before stepping over the top rope and into the ring as the music played and the laser lights swirled around the ringside area. Dane took the steps, and was greeted by Jamester who held the top and middle ropes open for him as he wiped his feet on the apron before stepping through. The crowd were going apefuck as the house lights came back up and the entirety of The Syndicate stood opposite of Maverick in the ring.
To his credit, Maverick didn’t back up a single step.
Dane stepped forward, reminding Maverick about the broken arm he’d given The Only Star all that time ago in AWF and clearly showing no respect to the former X*Crown Champion, threatening him with the impending receipt. Maverick reached back with everything he had and slapped the taste out of Dane’s mouth.
Dane turned his back and jabbed a thumb at Mav, directing his two monsters to take care of his light work. Maverick did the only thing he could in the situation, he charged…
...directly into a big boot from Scott Steel! Jesse Jamester didn’t hesitate, picked him up, and he and Steel nodded. The two of them man-handled Maverick up into what looked like a double-powerbomb position. The two monsters took a couple of practiced and coordinated steps and launched Maverick backwards over the top rope and all the way into the first couple of rows of ringside chairs! Thank the lord for Social Distancing, otherwise we might have a lawsuit on our hands! After scattering out of the way, the fans in attendance lost their minds.
**Maverick eliminated by Scott Steel/Jesse Jamester at 02:37**
The fans in the front row immediately let Maverick know what they thought of the situation, booing loudly and throwing half-drank cups of beer in his general direction.
“NA-NA-NA-NA! NA-NA-NA-NA! HEY! HEY! HEY! FUUUUUUCK OFFFF!”
The chant was quickly picked up by everyone in attendance as Gus Arnold made his way out with the medical team to collect the former X*Crown champion and make sure that Steel and Jamester hadn’t accidentally killed him with the move that would become known as the Syndicate’s Edge!
In the interim Eric Dane had found himself with a microphone and cut a quick promo in the ring denouncing Maverick’s entire existence, calling Gus Arnold’s tactics of bringing in a bunch of wannabe ringers to pop a few buys, and berating the fans for cheering for him. Within thirty seconds he’d gone from the most beloved man in the industry to the most hated man in the building with almost zero effort. Effective heeling is effective.
Gus Arnold hit ringside once he was sure that Maverick wasn’t dead and he demanded that Scott Steel leave the ring. Dane explained in the most annoying way possible that not only were there No Disqualifications in a Rumble match, but there was also nothing stopping an entrant from handicapping himself by entering early. Gus was literally beside himself with anger, but couldn’t come up with a better argument before the klaxxon went off heralding the next entrant.
[04:00] Timeless Alex Turner enters at #4
“Orion - Eternity (Chillout Version)” hit and Turner strutted down the aisle, ignoring the fans and glaring at the three men left in the ring with contempt and disgust. Roxylishus stopped to interact with one of the crowd, then wretched and turned away.
From who knows where, Roxy produced her own microphone and handed it over to Timeless. The former SWAT champion took his sweet time yacking with the crowd some before doing his usual pre-match schtick.
Timeless: I got passion in my pants and I ain't afraid to show it!
Crowd: I’M, SEXY AND I KNOW IT!
Timeless: No! (holding his hand up to block them) You’re not! I (points to himself with his thumb) AM!
He dropped the mic and approached the ring, talking ten pounds of shit in a five pound bag. What he didn’t do, however, was get into the ring with Dane and his Syndicate. Timeless might be a lot of things, but stupid wasn’t one of them.
[06:00] Dylan Black enters at #5
“Blood, Tears, Dust” by Lacuna Coil hit the sound system and there was an eruption of boos. Dylan Black made his entrance, slowly raising his hands to taunt the crowd. A flash of light illuminates the aisle as the rest of the arena is cast in darkness. Almost as if the very gods themselves were announcing his arrival.
The X*Crown Championship belt was very visibly wrapped around his waist. Those abs, they’re fantastic, eight perfectly-molded little squares of pure washboard goodness! As Black made his way down toward where Timeless and Roxy stood waiting it was pretty apparent that Roxy had developed a slight quiver in her lady-parts region. Timeless wasn’t having any of that bullshit and sent her to the back immediately!
Once Black and Timeless were close enough to speak, they did. A few moments went by as they made some jabs at each other and measured their junk just to be sure, but neither man wanted to face The Syndicate alone, and so uneasily they came to terms of a truce before tentatively sliding into the ring.
That’s when all hell broke loose.
[08:00] John Cavanagh enters at #6
The One Man Dynasty didn’t waste any time as the buzzer went off and he hauled ass to the ring, sliding in and immediately standing on the side of Timeless and Dylan Black. He pointed at Eric Dane, calling his shot, while Jamester charged the X*Crown Champ and Steel tackled Timeless. There was a war on either side of Dane and Cavanagh as they stood at center ring becoming acquainted for the first time by trading insults and expletives.
Cavanagh threw a right hand, rocking Dane! Dane responded in kind! They traded blows for a few moments before Cav bulrushes the elder statesman of NPW back into a corner and started driving shoulders into his midsection! Meanwhile on the other side Timeless managed to wriggle his way out of the situation, letting Dylan Black take the brunt of both Scott Steel and Jesse Jamester’s offense.
[10:00] Jay Stevens enters at #7
Jay Stevens hit the ring in direct fashion and surveyed the situation around him. In a split-second decision he went and grabbed John Cavanagh off of The Only Star, ducked a wild haymaker, and sent him up and over with a belly to belly suplex! Dane took a second to catch his breath before extending a fist for Jay to bump, an alliance had been made!
And then there was Timeless.
Alex Turner stepped to the middle of the ring and began calling Eric Dane every kind of piece of shit in the book. Dane, not to be out done, started in on his thoughts on Turner’s taste in women. In one corner Steel and Jamester were punishing Dylan Black, in the other Cavanagh and Stevens were jostling for control and each trying to lift the other up and out of the ring.
In the center, Dane and Timeless had gone nose to nose. The two former champions had been bickering and picking at each other for weeks but this would be the first time that they’d stood this close together inside of a ring without a dozen security goons trying to separate them. The tension built and built until Dane unleashed a right hand right to the mush, Timeless responded with a knife-edge chop and the crowd Woo’d at him. Dane threw another punch but Timeless stepped in with a rising knee to the breadbasket that doubled Dane over, allowing Turner to take control and send The Only Star up and over the top rope!
BUT WAIT! THERE’S JESSE JAMESTER!
Double J saw what was happening and dove into action, reaching over the ropes and grabbing Dane just in time to keep him from falling any further than the apron! He was just about to pull Dane back into the ring when Timeless sprung into action, lifting Jamester up and using his size and momentum and a little bit of gravity to get the big man up and over. Jamester tumbled down to the floor as Dane rolled himself back into the ring.
**Jesse Jamester eliminated by Alex Turner at 11:32**
Timeless cackled and started putting the boots to Dane again as Cavanagh turned the tables on Stevens in the opposite corner. Across the ring in the other direction Dylan Black fought back against Scott Steel, but the big man clobbered him across the back, flattening him back down to the mat.
The countdown started, it was about to get a lot more evil in there...
[12:00] Lord Dominicus enters at #8
The REAL Lord Dominicus is up next! He makes easily the spookiest and most evil entrance of any of the participants so far before trotting down the aisle and entering the fray, much like most everyone else standing opposite of Eric Dane and the Syndicate! NPW’s current only singles champion climbed the turnbuckle as he made his entrance, shouted at Timeless, and leapt off, flying and flipping and dropping hard across the prone body of Eric Dane with a beautiful Shooting Star Press!
Timeless celebrates, throwing a high-five at LD before pointing at Dane again and assuring LD that they could get rid of him if they worked together! Dominicus turned and set his sights on The Only Star but Timeless did a Timeless and grabbed him by the waist, lifted up like a belly-to-back suplex but twisted and slapped the North American Cruiserweight Champion down to the mat with his signature Turn Me Loose!
In the interim Scott Steel had lost interest in Dylan Black and was looking for some new prey when John Cavanagh stepped up! Steel, being the bigger man, attempted to bully Cav but The One Man Dynasty showed a lot of fire by standing and trading with the big man, even getting some momentum going by chop-blocking Steel’s legs out from under him and following up with a barrage of stomps and a hard knee drop.
Dane, having recovered, pulled Jay Stevens up to his feet and pointed pulled him in for some sage advice, showing the younger grappler how he had things in hand and was currently winning the match, even though Jamester had been eliminated and Steel was currently getting shit-stomped by Cavanagh. Stevens raised an eyebrow, nodding along as if he was taking any of Dane’s “advice” seriously.
[14:00] Jonnie Valentine enters at #9
Just as Cavanagh was really getting an advantage on Steel, who let’s be honest had been in the ring for twice as long tonight as he’d ever been before and was completely blown up at this point, “Canadian Tom Hanks” Jonnie Valentine made his way down to the ring and joined in on the putting the boots to The Mountain.
Valentine and Cavanagh work together to pick the big man up and they each grab an arm to attempt to Irish Whip him across the ring. The problem with that, of course, is that Scott Steel was carved out of granite and was stronger than God. He put on the brakes, laughed maniacally, and goozled both men! Lifting with ease, Steel double-chokeslammed JV and Cav damn near through the mat for their troubles!
On the other side Timeless and Lord Dominicus had been working out some of their issues with each other by throwing the kinds of potatoes that Scott Steel eats for Second Breakfast to wash down a gallon of dry creatine powder. They took turns scrambling for control and trying to eliminate one another until finally Turner had Dominicus upside down and about two-thirds of the way eliminated before Jay Stevens came into the situation and waffled TImeless in the guts, breaking it up. Stevens and Dominicus, two of NPWs premier Light Heavyweights, then went to work on Timeless with a series of high impact high technique combinations between the two of them. Somewhere in the multiverse, the greatest tag team of all time were smiling.
At this point the X*Crown Champion had recovered and made his way to the center of the ring, where he found Eric Dane waiting for him. The staredown was real; the tension was off the charts. After all the talk, all the attacks and all of the bullshit The Only Star, a former 7-time inter-promotional World Champion himself had himself an up close and personal look at the current reigning champion of the entire XHF Network.
Shit was just about to go down...
[16:00] Leon Van Zandt enters at #10
...when the buzzer went off and The Professional made his presence known! He was into the ring quickly and standing in opposition to both Dylan Black and Eric Dane, looking to make a name for himself. The three circled, Dane’s eyes darting back and forth as he moved strategically to set the other two up for a resurging Scott Steal to take them both down from behind with a vicious Double Northern Lariat!
Across the way John Cavanagh and The Million Loonie Man found themselves in an argument over their combined failure working as a team against Scott Steel. This of course led to blows which led to the tandem of Lord Dominicus and Jay Stevens attacking both of them and taking the upper hand.
This didn’t last super long, however, as Timeless had recovered and returned his attention to Jay Stevens, pulling him out of the fray and into fisticuffs! Stevens, the much fresher man, managed to turn it around on the Timeless One, though, and managed to work him into the corner and get him lifted up and teetering over the top rope on the verge of elimination!
Eric Dane saw this and went to lend a hand.
That is to say, Eric Dane came up behind and helped Stevens dump Timeless by lifting Stevens up and over the ropes and going for a double-elimination!
**Jay Stevens eliminated by Eric Dane at 16:49**
Somehow, Timeless held on. It’s like he’s got some kind of an iron grip or something. Stevens, once he figured out what had happened, found himself on the floor and hopping mad! He slapped the mat in frustration and shot hatedaggers at The Only Star. Dane had taken advantage of Jay’s trust, and simply shrugged and mouthed “Better luck next time, kid!”
Jonnie Valentine had recovered and tied up with Cavanagh again, and he’d found an advantage over him until Lord Dominicus interjected himself into their business. After a bit of brawling Valentine was looking good, double eye-poking LD and Cav before backing up just enough to charge in at them! At the last possible second Dominicus and Cavanagh both dropped down and pulled the low-bridge so that Valentine upended himself and toppled over the ropes and down to the floor!
**Jonnie Valentine eliminated by Lord Dominicus/Jon Cavanagh at 17:27**
As soon as they both made it to their feed Cavanagh went to work on Dominicus, proving once again that he had some serious tricks up his sleeve.
[18:00] Brad Swann enters at #11
Brad Swann charged down the ramp as his name was called, The so-called “king” saw himself as a house of fire, Sliding under the ropes…
… and directly into Scott Steel. Brad Swann had enough time to contemplate this tactical error as he was powerbombed into and then through the french-canadian announce table. Continuing his new journey as a curling stone, he came to a harmless stop against the guard rail with bits of table strewn about and atop his twitching frame.
**Brad Swann eliminated by Scott Steel at 18:09**
John Cavanagh grabbed Lord Dominicus bodily and started to once again use his size advantage over the smaller (but EVILERER) Lord Dominicus.

??
