Here ye here ye, 2021 is here!
There is a lot I would say that 2020 has taken from us; but that is behind us. What is this year? What will be different about it? Well... resolutions, they are good to make, to allow for us to focus on just that. I'm thankful for finding NPW last year, I think it was exactly where I was meant to be, and am happy with this group of great writers that have joined in making this place fun! What are my 2021 resolutions?
- Raise awareness for literacy, start a fundraiser to help with such. Have a few things in the works for this, one being a poetry book I am finishing up that will be put on Amazon for a low cost - all proceeds going to a charity I find that aligns with this focus.
- Moving - I have been wanting to move from Pennsylvania for a while now. Love this state, grew up here, but I am very much in need of a change of scenery for my hobbies (kayaking, hiking, and writing inspiration). Looking to buy a house in Colorado Springs, CO; so I look forward to that.
- Be kinder to myself; I struggle with major bipolar depression, and have for over two decades. This year I made great strides in that area, and I will continue to take it easy on myself when I feel it creep in.
- Increase my output on stories across feds this year. I have some idea, hope that they are as entertaining to you all as they were for me to come up with.
- Read more; I read 50 books last year, and that was light for me. I am hoping to read 100 this year.
Those are my resolutions, or goals for myself. I don't expect them all to happen, but I am working towards materializing each one. Would love to hear all of yours.

Colorado Springs is pretty nice.
I am applying to doctoral programs for mathematics.
Running another 100 mile race.
You know, moderate goals.

Honestly I'm just trying to survive this year. I guess goals would be to get my newly discovered diabetes under control, get this house unpacked and more of a home, and maybe get a better job.

Honestly I'm just trying to survive this year. I guess goals would be to get my newly discovered diabetes under control, This. Diabetes can be a bitch, if you don't maintain it under control. Well, this and trying to have a good year as far as my Msc in Psychology goes. You know, modest goals.

Get in better shape--I'm not saying I need to lose a shit ton of weight, I lift dumb bells and walk my dog 3-5 miles every day but I could definitely use a little more cardio in my life and pay more attention to what I eat.
Job wise, I'm a teacher and I finished my classes to get raises last year so that's done with. I do sell quite a bit on eBay and have begun a "stockpile" of sorts of figures that I've been buying at retail price with the idea of sitting on them for a while until they're harder to find--idk if this would be in 2021 but maybe at some point a good old brick and mortar store would be a nice add (I also have an addiction for meet and greets with wrestlers so maybe I can make that work with it somehow lol).
After such an insane 2020, what with not being able to see friends/families as much as normal, losing my dog (I've lost a few in my day but still sucks each time), my father having a seizure and the shocking news on Brodie Lee recently another resolution I have is to either spend more time with certain people (if possible) or at least spend a little more time talking to them on the phone...life is short.
And then on the fun side? Hoping some travel restrictions are lifted so I can get back to seeing every MLB stadium (I've got 9 them bitches done so far) and I'm assuming seeing fam in Ireland may still be outta the question, maybe some new ink.

I am also aiming for survival. I need to find either some more contracts once the virus clears up- or if it doesn’t find a new source of income

My resolution is to remember to write 2021 instead of 2020.

I wish you all nothing but Happiness, Good Health and Prosperity.
They say that everyday is a gift, and I’m beginning to understand that notion as each day passes.
Listen more. Say less. Read more. Watch less.
I want to push myself to remain in the moment and to stop looking ahead to what’s next.
Try to learn something new everyday.
Stay safe and healthy everyone...both psychically and mentally.

Considering how NPW is doing, "Read more" should be pretty easy to accomplish
