*Following a lengthy video intro for the event we open up to the night's frenzied arena crowd in Norman on the campus of the famed Oklahoma Sooners, with the Pyro event banner being displayed on the Xtreme-Tron, explosions going off all over the place and the newly official show theme of "Fire It Up" by Thousand Foot Krutch playing loudly across the PA System. We then zoom in even further on ringside moments later and the background music dies down completely as various pre-taped highlights of this evening's debut edition of Pyro in-ring action begin to air momentarily with brief commercial breaks in between each scheduled contest...*

Singles Match
Obsidian vs. Kris "Fa Sho" Destiny
______________________________
The match started off going back and forth with Obsidian and Kris Destiny matching each other move for move. Obsidian finally got a break by being able to reverse a power bomb attempt by Kris Destiny, and he kept control of the match for a while. During this time, Obsidian came close to hitting his finisher but Kris Destiny retreated out of the ring to seemingly get his head back in the game, and Obsidian followed him outside of the ring. Kris Destiny took advantage of the match by blindsiding Obsidian while he was getting out of the ring and slamming his head into the steel post. He continued assaulting him outside of the ring before tossing him back in at the count of eight, and quickly going in to attempt a quick cover. Obsidian managed to kick out. Obsidian started to come back into this match, but as he attempted a clothesline, Kris Destiny was able to reverse it and hit the Beginning of the End to keep Obsidian out long enough to score the pin fall.
Winner at 9:09: Kris Destiny!

Mr. Happy & Tyrone "Crazy Boy" Smith vs. "The Headliner" PM Acid & "The Walking Nightmare" Deathtrain
______________________________
Before the referee could even sound the bell, Crazy Boy took a couple cheap shots at Deathtrain, and sent him outside of the ring. Mr. Happy helped the referee with restraining him and getting him in the corner, and Deathtrain got onto the apron holding his jaw while staring across at Crazy Boy who was finally out on the apron. PM Acid and Mr. Happy started the match, as PM Acid blindsided Mr. Happy while he was sharing a couple of words with his partner… It took a little while but Mr. Happy did start to fight back as much as he could, but PM Acid dropped Mr. Happy to the canvas with a DDT to stop his momentum dry. PM Acid dragged him over to their corner, and tagged Deathtrain in as he continued to assault Mr. Happy using a few powerful moves to try to keep him grounded. This went on for a while with Deathtrain and PM Acid exchanging tags and taking turns to keep Mr. Happy as the weak man in the ring. Finally we saw some life from Mr. Happy as he dropped PM Acid with an Evenflow DDT! He managed to get over to his own corner and get the tag to Crazy Boy as the Chaotic Champion exploded into the ring and had taken complete control after preventing PM Acid from being able to tag out. He knocked Deathtrain off of the apron before taking PM Acid down with several clotheslines! After a while, he took PM Acid onto his shoulders and hit his patented Crazy Airlines before tagging Mr. Happy back in… Crazy Boy went over to take Deathtrain out of the equation, as Mr. Happy locked in the STF! PM Acid had no choice but to tap out!
Winners at 11:24: Mr. Happy & Tyrone “Crazy Boy” Smith!

First Blood Match
Decoy vs. "The Frozen Phoenix" Tara Fenix
______________________________
This match started rather slow as both of them showed impressive speed. The match finally turned in favor of Decoy as he took down Tara with a vicious Super Kick… Decoy continued a very bad assault on Tara, focusing primarily on her skull to try and bust her open. The referee constantly was checking to see if she had been busted open, but the match would always continue. He looked to end it by hitting The Wall on her, but she pushed him off to the ropes and as he came back she leaped up to drag him down with the Fallen Fenix! Immediately after hitting her patented move, she rolled out of the ring and started to search underneath the ring but Decoy met her outside of the ring as she had pulled out a steel chair from under the ring narrowly dodging a spin kick attempt by Decoy. Tara dropped her weapon and began swinging wildly at her opponent as he had gotten his foot stuck on the apron and after a couple strikes she had run him into the steel post. Decoy managed to get back inside the ring rather quickly to avoid further assault and Tara entered the ring with the steel chair in hand but Decoy quickly attacked her before she could even get back to her feet. Decoy kept steady control of the match during this time, doing any move he could to try and bust her open but to no avail. Out of frustration he tried to bite her forehead, but she took advantage at this point by delivering a low blow and sending Decoy back near the center of the ring. She picked up the steel chair and crushed it over Decoy’s head, but this didn’t bust him open! He fell down onto the canvas, face up, when she set the steel chair over his skull and climbed up to the top rope and came off of it to attempt Flight of the Fenix onto the chair, to crush Decoy’s skull! He moved out of the way, though, and left the steel chair there as Tara had connected with it. After hitting the chair, Tara rolled around the ring a bit holding her ribs in a lot of pain… Decoy picked up the weapon and began to stalk Tara while she was slowly getting to her feet. As soon as she turned to face Decoy, he took a swing at her skull! She ducked underneath it, and Decoy spun around to face her again with the chair still in front of his face as she connected with the Fenixide Kick and busting Decoy wide open!
Winner at 12:56: Tara Fenix!
William Spencer: What a show we have had so far! And up next is our featured main event, which will be shown in it's entirety, so fasten your seat belts folks because this one WILL be an Xtremely bumpy ride mere moments from now!
Joey Hawke: I can’t believe how short that Steve Awesome will hold the championship for! New champion tonight!
Willy: Did you really bring champagne?
Hawke: We have to celebrate Platinum’s victory.
*"You Don't Know" by Eminem, 50 Cent, Ca$hi$ and Lloyd Banks strikes the speakers as the fans rush to their feet, as an undoutable superstar is about to make his entrance. Spinning pyro goes off on the side of the entrance ramp, while a large booming pyro goes off centre stage and Platinum steps out from the smoke with his Calgary Flames jersey and sideways Flames baseball cap. He stands at the top of the ramp, showing off a platinum "P" hanging from a chain around his neck. He makes his way to the ring, and dives under the bottom rope, running to the far corner and springboarding himself to the top rope where he again shows off the chain. He jumps down and faces his opponent, ready to go.*
Hawke: Whoo! Go Platinum!
Willy: A very talented athlete, nothing to take away from him. Although his leader is a jerk.
Hawke: You mind yourself, Willy, otherwise you'll be lucky to be sitting here next week!
*The lights fade to black as a single guitar note blares over the P.A system much like Orton’s old theme. As the drums kick in the lights begin to flash from black to red on beat. Then the guitar begins to rip a good solo as Ronnie Winter starts to wail on the mic.
“YYYYYEEEAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!”
It’s at this point that Steve Awesome comes blasting through the black curtain with a huge amount of energy, and a crazy ovation from the fans. He beats on his Steve Awesome T-shirt and outstretches his hands as the crowd cheers..
I see the sweat is dripping
That's because you know just what I'm thinking
Don't look back it's me who follows
And there ain't nothing from me you can borrow
Steve slaps hands with some of the fans lucky enough to be ramp side as he makes his way down to the ring...keeping his eye on his opponent.
You like to hide behind lies
But we see through your disguise
It's not a threat or a curse
Just a proper verse
Steve then locks eyes with the ring, pulling off his Steve Awesome T-shirt to the thrill of the ladies and tossing it aside to some lucky fan.
I'm gonna make you let go
Of what you tried to withhold
And I can promise it won't be long
Yes I can promise
He takes a deep breath, cracks his neck and sprints forward, sliding into the ring underneath the bottom rope and on his knees. Once inside he pops up and climbs a turnbuckle and holds his arms up in the air as the crowd stand on there feet and cheer.
Boy, you better pray
I don't seek you out, no
You better pray
The music fades as Steve waits for the match to start.*
Willy: And here's our very impressive X*Crown Champion!
Hawke: Wrong! He's just holding those belts until Reeshi decides to take them back.

"The Money Maker" Platinum vs. Steve Awesome ©
______________________________
At the sound of the bell, the X*Crown Champion and the challenger meet up in the center of the ring to lock up with each other. Steve Awesome, the champion, obviously with the size advantage quickly powers him back against the ropes but as the referee tells them they have to get off the ropes, he allows Platinum to come back near the center of the ring. They lock up again, and before Platinum has a chance to do any of his own moves, Awesome quickly applies an arm wrench. He keeps putting pressure on the arm and shoulder of Platinum, until Platinum finally manages to do a front flip, and drag the champion over with an arm drag! Awesome rolls right up to his feet, as Platinum also gets to his feet…
Hawke: Platinum is very fast!
Willy: That he is, an impressive arm drag right there!
Platinum leaps into the air as Awesome sprints after him, going for a hurracanrana! Steve catches him and slams him onto the canvas with a sit-out power bomb! He tries to quickly put this match away by rolling over him and hooking the leg. One… Two… Platinum kicks out! Platinum tries to get back up as fast as he can, but Steve grabs him by the head before he has a chance to get any running room. He applies a front headlock before taking him over with a headlock takedown, still keeping the hold applied. Platinum is trying to wriggle his way free while pushing up on the arm of Steve Awesome, to force him to release some of the pressure. Suddenly, while Steve still has the hold applied, Platinum manages to bring his legs up and wrap them around the neck of Steve as he’s now in a little bit of trouble! Steve quickly rolls away to get free from the hold.
Hawke: Look at Steve running!
Willy: A wise move by Steve Awesome to avoid Platinum from turning the momentum on him.
Both competitors get back up to their feet and Platinum lands a quick jab to slow Steve down. Steve fires back with left hook straight to the jaw of Platinum, but catches him before he stumbles back. He puts his arm over him and takes him down with a diving reverse DDT, but quickly lifts him up and applies a dragon sleeper. Platinum struggles a lot to try to get free from the hold but Steve has it locked in. The referee is checking to see if Platinum is going to give up, but Platinum restrains himself from giving in although slowly starting to fade. Steve Awesome sees that Platinum is unwilling to give up, so keeps the hold applied while forcing both him and Platinum to get up before dropping him down over his knee using a modified version of a backbreaker! Steve does this three more times before keeping him grounded and using the dragon sleeper again.
Willy: Vicious backbreakers from the X*Crown Champion! And he still has the hold applied!
Hawke: You sure he shouldn’t be disqualified?
Platinum is trying to get himself back up to his feet, but Steve is shaking his head while asking the referee to check on Platinum and see if he gives up. Platinum is shaking his head, and keeps a firm arm to let the referee know not to bother… Steve pulls him back up to his feet again, but the moment he does, Platinum back flips over him and takes the champion down with a reverse DDT of his own!
Hawke: Ha! Platinum on his way back!
Willy: Another impressive reversal by Platinum.
Steve Awesome is starting to get to his feet but Platinum was a lot faster than he was, as he lands a front dropkick to Awesome while he’s in a seated position! Platinum rushes over to the ropes to springboard off of them and is going for a moonsault, but Steve Awesome rolls out of the way… Platinum manages to land on his feet as the champion gets to his own feet. He takes a quick step before going at Platinum with a clothesline, but Platinum ducks underneath it. Both of them turn to face each other, and Platinum attempts a front kick into the sternum of Steve Awesome, but he grabs the leg of Platinum! Platinum leaps into the air to connect with an enzuigiri! Platinum quickly rolls the champion over and covers him. One… Two… Kick out!
Hawke: Three?! THREE!
Willy: It was just two, get a hold of yourself!
Platinum gets back to his feet while Steve Awesome seems to be laying there to try to get a breather. Platinum climbs the top rope and looks back to see Steve still in the proper position as he leaps off the turnbuckle to go for Air Time! Steve brings his knees to his chest as Platinum lands right over them, and holds his ribs in excruciating pain.
Hawke: What air time he had!
Willy: But it all went against him as Steve was able to bring his knees up.
The champion gets back up to his feet and connects with a few elbows into the skull of Platinum to force him against the ropes before sending him to the ropes! Platinum jumps onto the top rope, barely managing to balance himself as he springboards off and hit’s a modified version of his patented Mo’ Money! Platinum covers him and hooks the leg this time around. One… Two… Th--Kick out!
Hawke: Three! That was three, and I know it! Learn to count!
Willy: Another close call! Platinum almost walked out with the X*Crown Championship!
Platinum stares at the referee in disbelief as he was just mere inches away from becoming the new X*Crown Champion. The challenger grabs the champion by the head and starts to force him up to his feet. Platinum sends Steve Awesome off towards the turnbuckle as Steve lands in it rather hard! Platinum backs up to the opposite turnbuckle before running towards him and leaping up to go for a body splash! Steve Awesome manages to move out of the way as Platinum goes head first into the top turnbuckle. He staggers before turning to face the champion as he’s connecting with as many quick jabs as he can, and finishing with a hard right hook! Steve Awesome turns away from Platinum and walks a quarter of the way towards the center of the ring as Platinum stumbles out of the corner in a complete daze. Suddenly, out of nowhere; Steve Awesome plants Platinum with his version of a Jawbreaker, sending him straight down to the canvas!
Hawke: That could have broken something!
Willy: That looked to be a devastating kick. I’ve been on the bad end of that, against other people.
Steve Awesome walks over to Platinum and grabs him by one arm and one leg and drag him to perfect position for him to go for a high risk move. The champion climbs the turnbuckle at a moderate speed, but as soon as he gets up Platinum has gotten to his knees and just dives at one of the ropes to cause Steve to lose balance and land very uncomfortably on the turnbuckle! Platinum is still hanging on the ropes as he brings one hand up rubbing his jaw feeling like it may be broken.
Willy: Platinum wisely stopping the momentum of Steve Awesome by using the ropes to make him lose balance!
Hawke: It’s what he deserves!
He shakes his head a little and starts to climb the top rope while landing a few shots to the skull of Steve Awesome to keep him dazed on the top rope. Finally, as Platinum reaches the top rope, he jumps up to land on Steve, and take him over with a hurracanrana off of the top rope! Platinum forces himself to go over and try for another cover. He hooks one of his legs, and the referee counts: One… Two… Steve rolls his shoulder off of the canvas! Platinum looks frustrated that Steve was able to get his shoulder up and crawls over him to start connecting with brutal shots to head with lefts and rights!
Hawke: How much more can Steve Awesome take?
Willy: After all these shots he’s receiving, I’m not sure he can take much more.
Steve is doing his best to cover himself up but Platinum seems to be relentless. Finally, the referee does pull Platinum off and tell him that if he does that again he’ll be disqualified. Steve starts to get up to his feet as Platinum rushes forward and flips over him then attempts to roll over him! Steve drops all of his weight down on top of Platinum to pin his shoulders down. One… Two… Platinum kicks out! Both of the competitors are getting back to their feet. Platinum connects with a quick jab, and tries to follow up with a hook, but Steve ducks underneath it and quickly applies the Steve-VD!
Willy: We might see Platinum tap out!
Hawke: That’s a chokehold, and he should be disqualified.
The referee is checking on Platinum, who is struggling as much as he can. Steve can’t drop down right away with him being so close to the ropes, knowing it’d be too easy for Platinum to get to them…since Steve can’t immediately drop, this gives Platinum an opportunity to force Steve back against the ropes and he gets one of his flailing hands to grab the rope desperately. Rope break is called, and Steve quickly releases the hold and moves back towards the center of the ring to allow Platinum to get a moment to get his head together, since his hand is still on the ropes.
Willy: Platinum is taking a moment to get his head together.
Hawke: As he should, Steve Awesome should be disqualified and stripped of the X*Crown!
Platinum glares at Steve before coming out from the ropes and trying to take Steve down with a spear out of aggression! Steve sidesteps, and grabs Platinum by the head to run him towards the ropes the rest of the way and out of the ring! Platinum rolls over to the barricade as he uses that to get back up to his feet and the referee starts to count for Platinum. One! Two! Platinum looks into the ring to see the champion grabbing the top rope… as soon as he gets into the proper position, Steve Awesome slingshots himself over with a corkscrew body press landing perfectly! The referee leans out of the ring, and tells them both to get in the ring and restarts his count.
Hawke: Get him back in the ring! Coward, sending him out.
Willy: Steve Awesome followed him right out of the ring!
One! The crowd is going absolutely crazy as Steve Awesome is the first to get to his feet almost immediately after landing the move. Two! Platinum stirs a little, but still not up to his feet. Three! Steve grabs Platinum by the head to pull him up to his feet. Four! He slams Platinum’s head onto the apron before pushing him into the ring. Five! Steve follows in after and hooks the leg to attempt a cover. One… Two… Kick out!
Willy: Almost retained, but not quite.
Hawke: Platinum’s foot! On the rope!
Willy: It’s not on the rope, that’s the canvas.
Hawke: ROPE!
Steve Awesome appears to be a bit frustrated now, but lifts Platinum up to his feet slowly while calling for the SteveKO. He quickly puts him up onto his shoulders and starts to carry him back towards the center of the ring, however, Platinum is holding onto the top rope to prevent himself from being able to be pulled away. Steve decides it’s best to attempt his move, but as he lifts him over to attempt his move, Platinum manages to pull himself over and land on the apron.
Willy: Platinum somehow keeps himself in this match by avoiding the SteveKO!
Hawke: What choice does he have? Steve Awesome is a madman!
Steve Awesome goes over to him and punches him in the abdomen before setting him up for a suplex over the ropes… Platinum manages to flip over Steve Awesome, and quickly rolls him back and holds him into a pin fall. One…Two…Thr--Kick out! Platinum rushes off to the turnbuckle to climb them as fast as he can, but he can’t get up fast enough as Steve Awesome has already gotten to his feet. He goes for a diving hurracanrana, but Steve catches up and sets him up now for the EGO Check! He lands the move perfectly before covering him and hooking the leg. One… Two… Three!
Winner via Pinfall and STILL X*Crown Champion: STEVE AWESOME!
Willy: Steve Awesome has done it, but Platinum put up one hell of a fight!
Hawke: We wouldn’t see Steve Awesome walking out with the X*Crown Championship if that referee knew how to count!
Willy: What a show that we had with the long awaited return of Monday Night Pyro! For all of you viewers out there, we hope you enjoyed the show and thanks for watching!
Hawke: See you next time folks!
Willy: That was surprisingly pleasant.
