*Following a lengthy video intro for the event we open up to the night's frenzied arena crowd in The Pan American Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico, with the Pyro event banner being displayed on the Xtreme-Tron, explosions going off all over the place and the official show theme of "Fire It Up" by Thousand Foot Krutch playing loudly across the PA System. We then zoom in even further on ringside moments later and the background music dies down completely as various pre-taped highlights of this evening's debut edition of Pyro in-ring action begin to air momentarily with brief commercial breaks in between each scheduled contest...*

Singles Match
CK Owens vs. Decoy
______________________________
The match started pretty fast paced with both competitors going back and forth with their action. CK finally got the advantage after a short time, and battled Decoy back to the corner and continuing an assault until the referee would tell him to stop -- he sent Decoy across the ring with an Irish whip, to the opposite corner, and followed in but Decoy was able to leap up and jump back to catch CK Owens with a cross body! He almost scored the cover, but it wasn’t quite over. Decoy kept control of this match, using simple moves to keep CK Owens grounded, and using speedy moves while he was on the ground using the occasional springboard. When he attempted a springboard moonsault, CK Owens was able to bring his knees up so Decoy landed right on them! CK Owens immediately got up and looked to finish it with The Cure, but Decoy was able to dodge the oncoming kick! Before CK could get up and turn to face him, Decoy grabbed his arms and spun him around to set him up for The Wall. He landed it perfectly, and immediately rolled him over and hooking the leg.
Winner at 8:43: Decoy!

Jayson Matthews vs. Brad Kane
______________________________
At the start of the match, Jayson Matthews seemed to have everything going in his favor by keeping up a fast pace, and taking Brad Kane down with some quick moves. It was when he attempted to land The JME, early in the match, that Brad Kane was able to finally take control. He used a lot of quick moves to keep the high flyer grounded, and submissions to wear him down…several times, it seemed that Jayson Matthews would be forced to submit, but he would always somehow hold on. It seemed that Jayson was finally about to get the momentum back on his side but he was caught unexpectedly with a dropkick to his chest! Brad Kane immediately followed for a quick cover, but Jayson still wasn’t out. Brad kept the match in his favor by keeping the slow, steady pace and trying to wear him down with multiple submissions. Jayson Matthews finally got some life in him by rolling Brad Kane into a small package as he approached, and got a near fall -- the match quickened again, and Jayson kept the advantage for the most part, until Brad Kane demonstrated his own speed with an enzuigiri out of nowhere. He was about to put the match away when Tara Fenix came strolling down the ramp, causing him a little bit of a distraction. Megan Kane, outside of the ring, was clinging to her Bradley Bear while staring a hole right through Tara. Both of the women outside of the ring started arguing with one another as Brad leaned out to try and tell them to break it up, as did the referee, and Jayson Matthews took the advantage by rolling him up into a school boy. Brad Kane was able to kick out just in time…when both competitors got to their feet, Jayson was lifted and brought down with the AMG Driver! Brad Kane hooked the leg, and scored the pin fall.
Winner at 13:12: Brad Kane!
After the match, Brad Kane again tried to break the two women up but was still inside the ring. Angel leaped over the barricade and quickly slid into the ring, before landing his move Revelations on Brad Kane, and leaving him wreathing in pain in the center of the ring. Megan Kane slid into the ring to check on her husband, and Tara retrieved the “Bradley Bear” while Megan Kane was too distracted needing to check on Brad, before her and Angel both made their way up the ramp…taking the “Bradley Bear” with them.

Arik Kaige vs. Tyrone “Crazy Boy” Smith
______________________________
Right at the start of the bell, Crazy Boy came out of his corner going for a flying forearm! Arik Kaige was caught with it, but quickly got back up to his feet as Tyrone also got to his feet, and both of them went at each other. Arik took him over with a move of his own, and both again got to their feet…the action went back and forth for a good while, and right when it seemed that the Chaotic Champion was going to take advantage and start building momentum while holding Arik Kaige ready for the Crazy Airlines until Decoy came down the ramp to distract the Chaotic Champion. Both of them started to share words with each other, shouting at each other, which gave Arik Kaige a chance to get his head together. He charges at Crazy Boy while he was still distracted, and hit him with a Running Yakuza Kick, stunning him long enough for him to get him setup for a power bomb…as soon as he had lifted him, Crazy Boy took him over with a hurracanrana, and quickly hooked both legs which managed to hold Arik Kaige long enough for the three!
Winner at 8:32: Tyrone “Crazy Boy” Smith!
When you walk through the door
It was clear to me
You're the one they adore
Who they came to see
You're a rockstar
Everybody wants you
Player, Who can really play you.
We're the ones who made you.
The music continues, as Kris "Fa Sho" Destiny walks down the ramp usually to a good cheer. He walks down the ramp acknowledging the crowd on his way to the ring. He rolls in, and he points to all of the fans around the ring with a grin on his face.
Hawke: Look at him. Angry!
Willy: No doubt about it, a great competitor. But he came up short in his match against Jason last Sunday, and he has not been a very happy camper since.
*The arena goes dark. The speakers blare a female computer voice stating matter of factly, "The Main Attraction ... now showing in the main hall." A huge pyrotechnic chain reaction goes off. The Xtremetron flashes the following banner:
The Xtremetron shows a loop of assorted clips with DT walking the ramp, taunting in the ring, speaking on the mic from his promos, and the text "The Main Attraction: Death Trap!" in red bubble letters crashing into the screen causing the background behind it to go black. The rolling baseline intro of "You're Going Down" by Sick Puppies plays through the speakers. Red strobes begin darting around the arena as the lights turn a deep blue illuminating the arena. Death Trap steps out onto the ramp as the verse's lyrics begin in his Death Trap "Main Attraction" shirt, a necklace, trademark black bowl cap, and black shades. He has on black leather pants with dual red stripes vertical down the outside of each leg, a green biohazard logo on his ass, and a yellow barbed wire cross on the front of each leg, and black wrestling boots.
"Define your meaning of war. To me it's what we do when we're bored. I feel the heat comin' off of the blacktop and it makes me want it more, because I'm hyped up out of control. If it's a fight, I'm ready to go. I wouldn't put my money on the other guy if you know what I know that I know..."
He steps forward out of the entryway and looks around before slowly raising his arms out (a la Evolution Orton). Behind him gold pyros spray down in front of the entryway to the back. He cracks his neck and walks onto the ramp. He absorbs the renewed cheers and bounces back and forth on each leg before throwing his right arm up with the rock and roll devil horns as blue flames pop up on either side of the ramp. He spins around pointing to everyone in the crowd before trotting at a quick pace to the ring where a blue spotlight highlights the entire ring and ringside area. The chorus rolls ...
"It's been a long time coming and the tables've turned around. 'Cause one of us is going ... One of us is going down! I'm not running. It's a little different now 'cause one of us is going ... One of us is going down!"
The Xtremetron shows in big bold green letters "Final Judgment will be passed!" as a fireball comes forward and hits and scatters the letters and the screen burns from the center out into a series of clips including the endings to all of DT's past title victories and him holding up the title. Each time it zooms in on the title and then burns outward to the next match clip. As it zooms in on the XHF Title in the final clip, it lights up saying "The Man, The Myth, The Living Legend..." He trots to the ring steps and climbs to the apron. He gets to the center of the side of the ring and spins locking his arms on the top rope while facing away from the ring and just smiles and nods to the crowd. He hurdles the top rope and turns shaking the ropes before bouncing to the side and walking to the center of the ring as the lights brighten. He leaps to the middle rope and throws his head back and his arms straight out as the crowd erupts in cheers. He mimes the lyrics of the song holding up his right hand with one finger up and pointing to himself with the left hand. He then points to the opponent (or entryway if he's first in the ring) and puts the right hand into a thumbs down. He then tosses his bowl cap and shirt to the crowd before handing the necklace and shades to the ref. He shows off the newly clean shaven head and chin as he drops off the ropes sits in the corner awaiting the start of the match*
Hawke: I can’t believe Death Trap is back!
Willy: I know, I thought for sure that he was done with professional wrestling!
Hawke: After what Kanyon did to him, he should be!

Kris “Fa Sho” Destiny vs. “The Main Attraction” Death Trap
______________________________
At the sound of the bell, both Death Trap and Kris Destiny make their way towards the middle of the ring. Death Trap goes to lock up with Destiny in the center of the ring, but Destiny quickly grabs his arm and spins it around starting to wrench at his arm…Death Trap is stuck in this predicament for a moment before he pulls Kris Destiny towards him at his full strength, taking him down with an amazing clothesline!
Willy: What a clothesline! That almost took Kris Destiny’s head off!
Hawke: He’s facing a nobody, Willy! A nobody! Put him in that ring with Kanyon and he’ll get beaten. Badly.
Kris Destiny is holding the back of his head, as Death Trap rushes against the ropes and meets him as soon as he gets up to connect with a second clothesline -- Destiny again pops up to his feet, but is met with a third clothesline, and this time Death Trap grabs him by the head to pull him up to his feet. He forces him to stand all the way to his feet before connecting with a knife edge chop! Kris Destiny covers his chest with his arm, but Death Trap rips it away before connecting with a second chop! He battles him back to the turnbuckle with the chops, and right as soon as he gets him to the corner…
Hawke: Who does he think he is?
Willy: He’s Death Trap, and he is keeping good control of this match!
Destiny reverses a chop, and pushes Death Trap back into the corner. He starts delivering swift toe kicks right into the abdomen of Death Trap, until he’s forced to a seated position…he runs against the ropes and comes back to go for a running kick to him, but he’s able to roll out of the way! Death Trap is quick to push himself to his own feet, as Kris Destiny turns towards him. Death Trap connects with a left jab, immediately followed with a right hook to send him dazed against the ropes.
Hawke: Closed fist! Come on!
Willy: Right when we thought Kris Destiny was going to come back, he may have just been knocked out!
Death Trap sends him across the ring with an Irish whip, and catches him with a power slam on the way back, in the center of the ring! Death Trap hooks the leg, and the referee counts: One… Two… Kick-out! Death Trap shakes his head a little but pushes Destiny back down to the canvas and is apparently going for a second cover, but quickly manages to grab his arm and lock in a cross arm-bar!
Hawke: Come on, ref, get him to let Kris Destiny get up for a moment!
Willy: Death Trap following the rules, and he has that hold locked in.
Kris Destiny pats his own shoulder once and starts struggling a bit. Suddenly, Kris Destiny is able to roll Death Trap up so his shoulders touch the canvas, and the referee has to count; One… Two… Death Trap releases the hold to break the pin fall attempt. Both of the men get up to their feet, as Kris Destiny is shaking his arm a little in some pain…the veteran stares at him for a moment before putting him up to his shoulders!
Willy: What?! Could we see it?!
Hawke: No! No! NO!
Destiny reaches out for the ropes desperately, but is unable to reach them…Death Trap lifts him up further and brings him down to the canvas with The Seat Filler! He quickly rolls him over and hooks the leg: One…Two…Three!
Winner by Pin-fall: Death Trap!
Hawke: Rematch!
Willy: I wouldn’t mind seeing one when Kris Destiny can clear his head, and get back in that ring and give Death Trap a match he deserves.
Hawke: I guess so, he does need to clear his head. A lot of mistakes tonight.
Willy: Thanks for joining us for Pyro, ladies and gentlemen! We’ve got another great week ahead of us, so tune in this Friday for XHF: Gastro! Goodnight!
