Background: Jeff Andrews was running a wrestling promotion called Andrews*Promotions out of Wheeling WV in early 2020. When COVID hit, in a last ditch effort to replace his travel-restricted wrestlers, he looked for some local talent. Kirsty McKinney had been a state champion wrestler at the 140 lb division, and gotten very mildly memetically famous by losing a toughman fight to a female mechanic twice her age and a fraction of her looks (being a state champion wrestler has nothing to do with boxing, you see). Andrews decided to teach her to wrestle, and even though A*P ended up folding Kirsty continued her training. Jeff Andrews has decided she's ready to debut.

Outlook: Kirsty is a young female Jeff Andrews. She's surly, vicious, and kind of... socially regressive. She also resents the fact that since there's no money to be made in amateur wrestling, she had to pick between pro wrestling and MMA. She prefers finishing matches with amateur style pinning combinations, which are emphatically not 'flash pins', because she feels that a nice inescapable pinning combination is a more emphatic win than even a tapout.

Wrestling Style: Kirsty's a grinder. Even as young as she is she has excellent stamina by any standard, and wrestles by maintaining a dominant position and forcing her opponents to burn their own stamina wiggling out of pinning combinations and warding off a few choke submissions. Suplexes, mostly germans and gutwrenches, are delivered as the opportunity presents itself.

Gimmick: Standout amateur wrestler at the high school level turns college dropout turns pro wrestler. She's kind of bitter about a lot of things.

Theme Music: "In Walks Barbarella" - Clutch

Appearance: Kirsty's got natural blonde hair, blue eyes.  She's in good shape, with a lightly muscled upper body and a seriously muscled lower body.  Before she was a wrestler she was a farmgirl, and she's more at home in old jeans, loose t-shirts and work boots than anything else, but she'll also wear climate-appropriate workout gear in situations that call for it. She doesn't do the overt fanservice thing often, but isn't above wearing a miniskirt the size of a cocktail napkin to formal affairs.

Ring Attire: Kirsty wears a wrestling singlet with high cut legs, navy blue with gold trim, and white boots.  No elbow or knee pads.  No entrance attire.  All business.

Strengths:

*Seriously good stamina.  Even before she started wrestling on mats she was used to putting in the odd 12 hour workday

*Ring awareness. It's not exactly the same but she's been wrestling long enough that knowing where she is is second nature to her

*Very good grappling technique.  Some very basic pinning combinations that are distractions when used by most wrestlers are dangerous in her hands.

Weaknesses:

*Stark lack of standing striking offense - she's working on it, but still little to offer besides standard wrestling soupbones, kitchen sinks and front kicks.

*A little too arrogant about her "real" wrestling skill versus her opponents, underestimates pro wrestling techniques

*Zero aerial skills. Is smart enough not to try, but opponents never have to worry about her coming off the turnbuckle.

Biography:

Kirsty McKinney grew up in McDowell County, WV. Not in Bluefield as her bio states, but on a farm a half hours drive from it.  Her parents raised goats and sold milk and artisan cheeses, and from a very young age Kirsty was working long hours and picking up grappling instincts from handling the goats.  She first started wrestling in middle school, excelled at it, continued to excel at it in high school, and got a little bit of local infamy when she participated in a toughman fight during her senior year and lost to a female mechanic 30 years her senior (wrestling is great, but it doesn't teach one how to throw or take a punch). 

She was still given a full academic scholarship to Oklahoma University, but that ended with her getting expelled for fighting another student.  She returned to her parents farm much bitterer than she was when she left.

In March 2020, when the coronavirus panic was at its highest and states were closing their borders, Jeff Andrews had been running a wrestling promotion out of Wheeling WV called Andrews*Promotions.  Seeking local talent to replace his talent that was stranded out of state and familiar with Kirsty from the aforementioned toughman thing, he managed to track her down and offered to train her in professional wrestling.  She reluctantly accepted, since with having been expelled from college she didn't have any other way to make money off her amateur wrestling and didn't want to spend her life on a goat farm.

A*P closed but Kirsty continued her training. She cut a swathe through the West Virginia independent scene, which honestly isn't that impressive a feat (at 149 lbs she outweighed half the guys she wrestled).  Jeff Andrews deemed that she was ready to wrestle real talent, and shipped her up north to join up with The New Untouchables.
