____________________________________________________________________
*Following the previous video intro for the event we open up to the night's frenzied arena crowd in Blacksburg, with the usual Gastro event banner being displayed on the Xtreme-Tron, explosions going off all over the place and the official show theme of "Superstar" by Saliva playing loudly across the PA System. We then zoom in even further on ringside moments later and the background music dies down completely as our usual commentators Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler cut in eventually while the in-ring action for this evening is on the verge of kicking off...*
*As the lights in the arena flicker, the fans explode into boos, knowing full well who's about to make an entrance. The blaring opening guitars of Stone Sour's "Reborn" begin to blast through the speakers, and as this happens, the following is played over the Xtreme Tron, followed by several in-ring clips of MGK facing various opponents.
Finally, MGK makes his way out from backstage, dressed in his ring attire, with black tape covering up his hands and wrists. In white, the letters KO are written on the backs of his hands on the tape. He stands on the entrance stage for a few seconds, before making his way down the ramp, occasionally stopping to glance at the ring, and the fans. He stops between the ramp and the ring, and looks up to the rafters, before slowly closing his eyes. A few angry fans can be heard yelling insults at him, but he ignores them completely and his gaze falls upon the ring. He then gets onto the ring apron, and enters the ring. Dropping down to one knee in the center of the ring, he crosses his arms over his chest to form an X, as a blue spotlight falls down on him alone, the rest of the arena caught up in darkness. MGK then stands up and pounds his chest, warranting a series of boos from the audience. As MGK begins to pace the ring, his music fades, and he goes to his corner and begins to hop up and down silently as he waits for tonight's opening match to begin.*
Cole: Well first off welcome to this week's huge edition of Gastro everyone, and right off the bat we start with a bang as MGK has arrived live at ringside and looks to take out Erez Smolowitz on his road to Chris Kanyon and a potential Birthday Show shot at the X*Crown Championship come July 9th!
King: And judging by just how incredibly focused MGK has been as of late then there's an extremely good chance we could see exactly that happen as far he and Kanyon doing battle just under a month from now. But, in order to get there he's still got plenty of stiff competition in front of him for this year's End of Days tournament needless to say.
*As Sarit Hadad's Yalla Lech Habaita Moti then blazes through the XHF's Speakers and Audio, Erez comes down dancing to the beat of his music. He thrusts his hips and gives a thumbs up to the crowd then jumps for pyro. He runs down to the ring where he anxiously awaits the start of the qualifying match itself.*

End of Days Tournament '09: Qualifying Match #5 of 8
"The Undisputed Icon" MGK vs. "The True Jew" Erez Smolowitz
______________________________
MGK and Erez are in the ring with each other and they slowly circle each other as each of them look ready to get it on. They then both charge towards each other and MGK knocks Erez down with a clothesline! Erez gets right back up to run over at MGK but he is knocked down once more with yet another clothesline courtesy of his first round opponent. MGK picks up Erez and Irishwhips him to the ropes moments later. MGK falls on his back and when Erez comes back, MGK hits him with a monkey flip! Erez falls hard on the mat and MGK gives an accomplished smile before picking him up. He knees in the stomach a couple of times then hits him with an enziguri! MGK then goes for the pin: One... Two... Kickout by Erez!
Cole: MGK's firmly in control of this match early on, but the huge underdog Erez isn't just rolling over and playing dead either by any means.
King: Yeah Erez is showing plenty of heart so far for sure, but sooner or later he's bound to wear down for good and that's where I'm sure MGK will look to take advantage and seal this thing once and for all.
MGK and Erez both get up and MGK lands a punch on him, causing Erez to stagger back. MGK goes for another punch and Erez staggers back again. Erez then goes for a punch of his own but MGK ducks it and kicks Erez in the stomach and hits him with a DDT! He then takes advantage of the situation and locks him into the Damage Plan! Erez screams loudly in pain but MGK holds onto his face hard. Erez's arm shakes wildly and we have the referee asking him continuously "Do you want to quit?" and each and every time, Erez refuses! He slides around the ring, trying to find the ropes and he moves hard and reaches far and finally becomes able to reach to the ropes! This gets a pop from the crowd and MGK lets go after the ref counts to four. MGK gets up and then picks up Erez who looks like he has no energy left, but suddenly he surprises everyone as he quickly steps back from MGK's grasp and hits him with a fierce dropkick!
Cole: What a surprising move from Erez!
King: He may some fight left in him after all!
Erez rolls over on MGK and goes for the pin: One... Two.... Thre-KICKOUT by MGK! This causes a mixed reaction from the audience as some of them clearly want Erez to win the match. Erez slowly rises to his feet and he begins kicking on MGK, with each kick causing a higher volume of a grunt. Erez picks up MGK and Irishwhips him to the ropes. He bounces back to a a snap suplex from Erez! Erez then climbs to the top rope and he signals for an applause, which he is granted very kindly. He jumps off and goes for a moonsault, aka the 911 Splash, but MGK rolls out of the way at the last possible second, causing Erez to crash and burn! MGK rolls over to where he's now on top of Erez and goes for the pin: One.... Two.... Thre-KICKOUT by Erez! MGK looks surprised and both of them begin to slowly rise to their feet, trading a series of punches back and forth as it becomes evident they're both eager to get this match over with one way or another!
Cole: What intensity!
King: This may be the opening that MGK needs!
MGK and Erez are still trading punches until MGK kicks Erez in the stomach and tries to go for another DDT but Erez FLIPS over MGK and runs to the ropes, jumps on the top rope and backflips to land in the position he was in front of MGK. Erez kicks MGK in the stomach and hits him with a single arm DDT! MGK hits the canvas hard and Erez follows it up with a pin: One... Two... Kickout! Erz glares down at MGK, disappointed. He is physically fatigued and doesn't know how much more he can take. He picks up MGK and Irishwhips him to the corner as hard as he can. This causes MGK to hit the turnbuckle extremely hard and Erez to fall down from the pushing! Erez gets back up and walks towards MGK and brings him on top of the top turnbuckle. He poses and goes for a superplex but MGK uses all the muscle in his body to make sure the momentum doesn't go in his favor. He stops the momentum and puts him in position for the Deflamation. He goes for it and sure enough, it hits! He falls on Erez and goes for the pin with both legs hooked tightly: One... Two.... Three!
Winner via Pinfall & Advancing to '09 EoD Quarterfinals: MGK!
Cole: After a long and brutal match, MGK comes out with the win and advances on to face either Jimmy Fat or Matt Hicks exactly a week from tonight in the Quarterfinals of this year's tournament for X*Crown number one contendership!
King: I still give props to my boy, Erez though, he showed some real guts to hang on as long as he did there, but as many expected MGK was simply too much for him to overcome once all was said and done here tonight.
*"My Own Worst Enemy" by Lit starts to blast on the dark ring area as we return from commercial. Suddenly, as the lights fall on the entranceway, out from the curtain comes....a stage hand? He shrugs at the audience, then, with a flashlight in hand starts looking around the entranceway, finally he comes to a man in a suit facing away from everyone, appearing to urinate. The stagehand shines his flashlight on him and the man squintily looks at him, holds up a finger telling the stagehand to wait a second. Then as he finishes what he was doing, he takes a swig out of a bottle of beer, zips up, and spins around, almost falling over. Yes folks, it's Randy Angel. The lights come up as he saunters down to the ring, having to be held up several times by the stagehand. Randy then rolls into the ring and decides not to get up until he has to.*
*"Mr. Happy" by ICP plays as Mr. Happy comes prancing out onto the stage, shaking two bottles of Root Beer Faygo soda. He gets about half way down the stage before he pops the cap on one and sprays the crowd on either side of the stage. Mr. Happy then rolls in under the bottom ropes, popping the cap on the other bottle and chugging the entire thing before throwing the empty bottle out into the crowd.*
Cole: And here is the....interesting new tandem of Randy Angel and Mr. Happy who are scheduled for tag team competition together for the first time here tonight.
King: But they've got a difficult set of opponents in the form of main event mainstay Steve Awesome and Hardcore Champ Jayson Matthews, so it'll certainly be interesting to see how they fare their first time out against the likes of these two.
*All the lights in the entire arena fade to pitch black as a strange synth line begins to fill the arena. Soon bass line begins to slowly pump and random lights in random spots in the arena begin to light up on each thump. Once the song finds its main rhythm a huge pyro engulfs the arena setting off a eye melting white light. Once your eye adjusts you realize that “Don’t Stop” by InnerPartySystem is playing over the P.A system and everybodies favorite; Steve Awesome stands on the stage in front of a big heart logo with his name written on it in sparkling white letters. The letters flash on and off as Steve Awesome begins to strut down the ramp, not taking his eyes off the ring.
“The road I walk is paved in Gold”
“To glorify my platinum soul”
“I am the closest thing to God”
“So worship me and Never Stop”
“The selfish blood runs through my veins”
“I gave up everything for fame”
“I am the life that you adore”
“Now feed the rich and fuck the poor!”
Steve Awesome arrogantly struts up the ring steps and spins around before facing the crowd on the apron. They boo him mercifully but he doesn’t care.
“I got, you want”
“It just, don’t stop”
“I got, you want”
“It just. Don’t stop”
Steve Awesome steps into the ring and walks into the middle of it. He kneels down on both knees, pointing to himself and his chiseled abs.
“This is entertainment”
“Lives are entertainment”
“You are down on your knees… Begging me for MORE!”
And with that Steve flexes his arms as silver and blue pyro rain down from the ceiling of the arena. It keeps falling as Steve stands up and walks to the nearest turnbuckle and raises his arms high in the air as the people hate him with every inch of their being.*
*An ambiance of digital sound then plays over the PA system.
“Now I’m Really Pissed Off”
Guitar Riff!
“Let’s Rock”
Guitar Riff!
“No Going Back Now”
Guitar Riff!
“Dance For Me Baby”
Guitar Riff!
“Crouching Mutant, Hidden Pipe Bomb!”
Then suddenly the rocking riffs of the Duke Nukem Theme by Megatron blast through the PA system as the young and energetic Jayson Matthews makes his appearance from behind the black curtain to a cheering crowd! Jayson throws his arms in the air and then beats on his chest to pump himself up as he runs down to the ring!*

Tag Team Match
Randy Angel & Mr. Happy vs. Steve Awesome and Jayson Matthews
______________________________
*We then cut back in to ringside several minutes later as Steve Awesome stands on the ring apron looking disgusted and irate with his partner Jayson Matthews, who has apparently just now been pinned by Randy Angel in this tag team matchup and the ref is raising both his and Mr. Happy's hands in victory for the odd tandem.*
Winners via Pinfall: Randy Angel & Mr. Happy!
Cole: Sorry for the brief technical difficulties experienced there as a result of a temporary power outage in the area folks, but as you can see Randy Angel and Mr. Happy have pulled off a huge victory here tonight and taken out the tandem of Steve Awesome and his sidekick Jayson Matthews!
King: A key win indeed as these two unexpected partners look to have some pretty good in-ring chemistry together as a team surprisingly enough. So it should be interesting to see where these two go from here and how they might look to build on this initial success as a duo.
Cole: Welcome back live to Gastro folks, and this next match is another qualifying match for the End of Days Tournament.
King: It is the 6th match of the Tournament.
*Suddenly, the arena lights begin to flicker off and on and as the crowd rises to it's feet immediately in anticipation, a combination of loud guitar riffs and the following words slowly begin to echo and scroll across the massive Xtreme-Tron screen above...
"Well it's midnight, damn right, we're wound up too tight,
I've got a fist full of whiskey, the bottle just bit me,
Ohhhhh...,
That shit makes me bat shit crazy,
We've got no fear, no doubt, all in balls out..."
With this, the hellraising chorus of "Burn It To The Ground" by Nickelback kicks in over the PA as none other than Matt Hicks himself then emerges from behind the curtain with wife Jennifer Dream by his side! Moments later this infamous duo proceeds to make their way on down the rampway to an overwhelming sea of crowd jeers, and soon amidst this the former multiple-time XHF title holder in Hicks makes his way up the ring steps, leaving his lovely wife to continue cheering him on from down below. Once inside the ring Matt goes to lean over toward the ropes and taunt off some raising a set of fiercely clenched fists to this entire sellout, roaring crowd of Xtreme Hardcore Federation fans joining us here tonight. Afterwards Hicks begins to bounce back and forth off the ropes flexing a bit, eagerly awaiting the emergence of his opposition at this point...*
Cole: Matt has a tough opponent tonight...
King: PFFT!!! Matt is a far better wrestler then his opponent.
*The opening guitar riff hits the arena like a ton of bricks as “The Real American” Jimmy Fat makes his way out from behind the curtain.
“When it comes crashing down and it hurts inside…”
Jimmy now makes his way to the ring hamming it up with taunts conversing with fans, and asking if anyone has some nachos. Once inside the ring Jimmy points at the crowd in all four directions before slapping his gut and doing muscular poses showing off something he doesn’t quite have. At the end of the routine red white and blue fire works go off behind him.*
Cole: King I know you were excited to see “The Real American” slapping his gut.
King: The fireworks were nice.

End of Days Tournament '09: Qualifying Match #6 of 8
“The Real American” Jimmy Fat vs. Matt Hicks
______________________________
Both men were in their corner waiting for the bell to sound. Jimmy Fat was looking over at ringside and he spotted something out of the corner of his eyes, as he turns he notices a kid having nachos and Jimmy Fat did not hear the bell ringing. Jimmy Fat was paying attention to the kid eating nachos that he did not see Matt Hicks coming up behind him. Matt Hicks started laying in some Forearms to the back Jimmy Fat. He then grab Jimmy Fat's head and rams it into the turnbuckle. Matt tries to ram Jimmy's head into the turnbuckle one more time, but Jimmy blocks it. Jimmy nails a Elbow right in Matt's midsection. Matt backs away. Jimmy turns around and he was not happy at all.
Cole: “The Real American” Jimmy Fat is not happy.
King: Because he lost sight of the kid with the nachos.
Jimmy was asking if the bell had sounded. The ref nods his head in a yes motion. Matt started to circle Jimmy Fat. They go for a lock up and Matt slides between Jimmy's leg and goes right out to the outside of the ring. Jimmy turns and looks at Matt. Matt walks around the ring. The ref begins his 10 count. Matt goes to slide back in but when Jimmy gets close to him, Matt is back outside of the ring again. The ref again begins his 10 count. Matt walks over and stands in front of the kid eating the nachos. Jimmy sees this and he stares a hole though Matt. Matt walks around and slides into the ring right behind Jimmy Fat.
Cole: I think Jimmy Fat needs to take his eyes off of those nachos.
King: What a plan that was.
Matt nails Jimmy with a Drop Kick right square in the back. The force of the Drop kick sends Jimmy Fat into the ropes. Matt gets to his feet. Jimmy comes of the ropes and Matt takes him down with a Drop Toe hold. Jimmy hits the mat hard. Matt tries to lock in a hold with Jimmy's feet, but instead Jimmy just kicks Matt back into the ropes. Jimmy gets to his feet and turns around. Matt rebounds off the ropes and tries for a shoulder block. Jimmy does not even moves. Matt goes into the ropes again and rebounds and he tries for another Shoulder block, and again Jimmy stands tall. Matt goes into the ropes again, as he is rebounding, Jimmy sees some lady with nachos and runs over to her, at the same time he Clotheslines Matt. Matt hits the mat hard.
Cole: What a Clothesline!
King: Only because of some nachos.
The lady is not going to share with Jimmy, so Jimmy turns around and Elbow drop to the head of Matt Hicks. Jimmy gets to his feet and begins slapping his gut. He looks over at the lady with the nachos and she does not look like she was impress with Jimmy. Matt Hicks is making it to his feet slowly. Once on his feet, Jimmy picks him up and Body Slams him right back to the mat. Jimmy looks at the lady with the nachos and she just ignores him. Matt is starting to stir around. Jimmy picks Matt up and nails a Samoan Drop.
Cole: Good grief, Matt Hicks just had some major weight landed on him.
King: Just because that lady would not give up her nachos.
Jimmy goes for the cover. The ref is in position. He begins his count. 1....2....Matt Hicks gets a shoulder up. Jimmy gets to his feet. Matt some how finds a way to roll out of the ring, and onto the floor. He is on his back trying to get some air back into his lungs. The ref begins his 10 count. Matt slowly gets to his feet. He looks at Jimmy Fat who glances over at the lady with the nachos. Matt is angry and goes over to the lady and knocks the nachos from her hands. Nacho Cheese went all over the lady's dress. Jimmy Fat sees this and he goes to the outside of the ring.
Cole: That may have been a mistake on Matt Hicks' part.
King: *laughing* I think it was funny.
Matt Hicks sees Jimmy Fat a charging and he slides back into the ring. Jimmy stops. He knows what was coming next, but Matt did something else, something that Jimmy was not expecting. Matt goes to the other side of the ring and slides out onto the floor. Jimmy goes a charging around the ring. The ref begins his 10 count. Matt sees Jimmy a coming and he slides back into the ring. This time Jimmy was not thinking and went to slide into the ring and got Boots to the back of his head.
Cole: I think Matt Hicks just suckered the “The Real American” Jimmy Fat.
King: Awesome plan. Jimmy did not take it the first time, but he took the bait the second time around.
Matt takes his Elbow and lands it right on the back of Jimmy's head. Matt rolls Jimmy onto his back and goes for the pin. The ref only gets a 2 count when Jimmy gets his foot on the bottom rope. Matt then mounts Jimmy and starts delivering punches to his face. The ref tries to stop Matt, but he continue to punching Jimmy's face. Finally the ref pulls Matt off of Jimmy. Jimmy makes it to his feet. He is dazed. Matt had went to the top rope and as Jimmy turns around, he is nailed with a Missile DropKick. Jimmy is on the mat. Matt gets up and goes to the top rope again. He goes for the Hiccup. The lady that Matt spilled the nachos on had a chip with nacho cheese on it left. She puts it on the apron and just as Matt was getting close to land on his target, Jimmy smells the chip with the nacho cheese on it and moves.
Cole: Matt Hicks just crashed and burned.
King: Jimmy Fat had some help.
Cole: Matt Hicks should not have spilled that lady's Nachos.
Matt is holding onto his stomach and is rolling around in pain. Jimmy Fat picks up the nacho chip and eats it. Now the lady was impress with “The Real American” Jimmy Fat. The Lady goes back to her seat and Jimmy has a smile on his face. He looks back over at Matt. He goes over to Matt Hicks. He leaps and hits a Splash.
Cole: MY GOD that is 400 lbs coming down on Matt Hicks!
King: That has got to hurt..
Cole: Can Matt Hicks come back after a move like that. Will Matt Hicks advance in the End of Days Tounament?
King: Sure he will.
Instead of going for a pin, Jimmy Fat gets up and he looks over at the lady that did have nachos. She was smiling at Jimmy. Jimmy goes for Old Glory and hits right on the chest of Matt Hicks.
Cole: What wind was left in Matt Hicks, is surely gone by none.
King: I cannot watch this...
Jimmy goes for the cover. The ref is in position to make the count. 1....2....3!
Winner via Pinfall & Advancing to '09 EoD Quarterfinals: Jimmy Fat!
*Jimmy now gets to his feet and begins slapping his gut. He flexes for the ladies as the ref is trying to hold his hands up in victory.*
King: That is the part I could not watch. Him slapping his gut. Almost as bad as watching Sexy Jason posing.
Cole: “The Real American” Jimmy Fat advances in the End of Days Tournament to face MGK next week on Gastro. And by the way Sexy Jason's posing is a lot better than Jimmy Fat's.
King: I should have known that you would take up for Sexy Jason.
Cole: Well after all he is the SENSATIONAL ROOKIE.
King: You should know how Sensational he is.
*King got in the last word of that conversation as we go to a brief commercial break before the highly anticipated showdown between Sexy Jason and Platinum which is coming up next...*
