____________________________________________________________________
*Following the previous video intro for the event we open up to the night's frenzied arena crowd in Charlottesville, with the usual Gastro event banner being displayed on the Xtreme-Tron, explosions going off all over the place and the official show theme of "Superstar" by Saliva playing loudly across the PA System. We then zoom in even further on ringside moments later and the background music dies down completely as our usual commentators Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler cut in eventually while the in-ring action for this evening is on the verge of kicking off...*
*The opening guitar riff hits the arena like a ton of bricks shortly thereafter as “The Real American” Jimmy Fat makes his way out from behind the curtain.
“When it comes crashing down and it hurts inside…”
Jimmy now makes his way to the ring hamming it up with taunts conversing with fans, and asking if anyone has some nachos. Once inside the ring Jimmy points at the crowd in all four directions before slapping his gut and doing muscular poses showing off something he doesn’t quite have. At the end of the routine red white and blue fire works go off behind him.*
Cole: A real American!
King: Shut up.
*As the lights in the arena flicker, the fans explode into boos, knowing full well who's about to make an entrance. The blaring opening guitars of Stone Sour's "Reborn" begin to blast through the speakers, and as this happens, the following is played over the Xtreme Tron, followed by several in-ring clips of MGK facing various opponents.
Finally, MGK makes his way out from backstage, dressed in his ring attire, with black tape covering up his hands and wrists. In white, the letters KO are written on the backs of his hands on the tape. He stands on the entrance stage for a few seconds, before making his way down the ramp, occasionally stopping to glance at the ring, and the fans. He stops between the ramp and the ring, and looks up to the rafters, before slowly closing his eyes. A few angry fans can be heard yelling insults at him, but he ignores them completely and his gaze falls upon the ring. He then gets onto the ring apron, and enters the ring. Dropping down to one knee in the center of the ring, he crosses his arms over his chest to form an X, as a blue spotlight falls down on him alone, the rest of the arena caught up in darkness. MGK then stands up and pounds his chest, warranting a series of boos from the audience. As MGK begins to pace the ring, his music fades, and he goes to his corner and begins to hop up and down silently as he waits for the match to begin.*
King: MGK is the odds on favorite for this entire tourney, so suffice to say Jimmy's got a big hill to climb.
Cole: Indeed.

*BUT, just before the bell rings, "All About the Benjamins" hits the P.A. Both men look up to see GQ and Obsidian emerge from the entryway.*
: Now boys, as Commissioner of the XHF I've decided to...change up your Quarterfinals match a little. So, for ratings purposes, and certainly not because Kanyon suggested it or the fact you could be a possible opponent for one or both of us, should we also advance. No, no, purely ratings based, and because the fans demand it. This match, is now a Scoop Slam Challenge Match!
*The crowd boos.*
: What this means is that in order to win, you must scoop slam your opponent once before trying to make a pinfall or submission. So have fun with that.
*The crowd boos as MGK looks furious. Jimmy looks perplexed.*
: Oh and by the way Jimmy, while you were entering the ring, I bought all the nachos at all the concession stands.
*Now Jimmy looks pissed off! GQ and Obsidian laugh and leave the entryway.*
Cole: Well that's just not fair King! Jimmy Fat is...well...too fat!
King: Hey MGK takes on all challenges, this is a challenge.

"The Undisputed Icon" MGK vs. “The Real American” Jimmy Fat
______________________________
The bell rings. MGK sighs as he looks at the girth of Jimmy Fat, while Jimmy still looks pretty damn angry about the nacho comment. Jimmy charges out of his corner at MGK, going for a clothesline, but MGK ducks. MGK turns around and Jimmy delivers a right, and then a left, and then a right. He's going crazy! MGK is reeling. Jimmy picks him up for a scoop slam! But MGK gets out of it by falling behind Jimmy. Jimmy turns around and MGK grabs him for a scoop slam, but can't lift him! Jimmy hits an elbow to the head of MGK. Jimmy then applies a headlock! MGK squirms around getting his head in some Jimmy flab.
King: Oh that's gross.
Cole: Yeah.
MGK tries to push Jimmy off, but Jimmy is unmoving. MGK then tries to pull back to get out, but Jimmy is clamped down. MGK then stomps Jimmy's foot with his own and Jimmy lets out a yelp and lets go of MGK. Jimmy turns around to a roundhouse kick to the head! It makes Jimmy stumble back into the corner, where MGK runs in with a clothesline! He then grabs Jimmy around the neck and delivers a bulldog! He covers, but the ref reminds him he can't make a pin yet. MGK punds the mat in frustration. He stomps on Jimmy a bit. Then he tries to pull him off the mat, but he can't. So MGK steps back and awaits Jimmy to stand. Jimmy gets up and MGK charges with a knee. Jimmy is groggy and MGK goes for another scoop slam. He starts to life Jimmy! But it's too much wait and MGK falls back. Jimmy lays on top, but the ref reminds him of the rules and that he too can't pin yet.
Cole: Silly Jimmy, you heard the rules.
King: He forgot them when he heard about the nachos.
Jimmy gets up and then delivers a standing elbow drop to MGK. He pulls MGK up off the mat and grabs him in a scoop slam. He lifts him up, but MGK reverses by wrapping his legs around Jimmy's head and delivers a head scissors! Jimmy falls into the ropes! MGK then gets up and runs off the opposite ropes. He charges Jimmy and jumps onto his back, putting his neck into the ropes. MGK then stands on Jimmy's back and pulls on the top rope to continue the damage. The ref makes a five count and MGK stops at four. MGK sighs, and then pulls Jimmy off the ropes, and tries to go for another scoop slam. Jimmy is an inch off the ground, but MGK can't lift him further.
Cole: This is imposible for MGK!
King: Where there's a will, there's a way!
MGK tries to lift again, but still can't. Jimmy smacks both sides of MGK's head with his hands and MGK staggers back holding his ears in pain. Jimmy then gets in a three point stance and tackles MGK with a shoulder block. MGK gets up and Jimmy picks him up with a samoan drop, and delivers! MGK rolls around holding his stomach in pain. MGK gets to his knees and Jimmy clubs him across the back. Jimmy then pulls up MGK and gets him in a bearhug. He squeezes hard, but then the ref reminds him he can't win yet. Jimmy nods, yet continues to apply the pressure. MGK screams out in pain. Jimmy wiggles around to get more pressure. MGK pulls his fist up, but before he can punch, Jimmy squeezes again. MGK then quickly hits a punch! Then another. Then a third. Jimmy is getting groggy. MGK then hits a haymaker, causing Jimmy to let go. MGK lands on his feet, then quickly grabs him from the side and delivers the Michigan Flame! Both men are down on the mat. Jimmy rolls over and starts to get up. MGK dives with an elbow to the side, then locks in the Damage Plan! Jimmy is screaming out in pain! MGK wrenches back and Jimmy is tapping! But the ref reminds MGK he can't win yet.
King: This match may last forever.
Cole: Well it's only the beginning of the show, we got time.
MGK lets go of the hold in frustration! He gets up and stomps on Jimmy a few times. He pulls Jimmy up to his hands and knees. MGK then knees him in the side, and stops to think. He looks to the corner. Jimmy gets to his feet on his own, and MGK hits an elbow to the side of the head, then whips Jimmy into the corner. MGK runs in with a knee to the face! He then leaps over onto the apron and climbs to the second turnbuckle. He grabs Jimmy by the underarms and pulls him up as hard as he can, making Jimmy stand on the bottom turnbuckle. MGK lays a few fists into the top of Jimmy's head. MGK then pulls Jimmy up a bit more so he's standing on the second turnbuckle. MGK then climbs back into the ring. He grabs Jimmy for a scoop slam.
Cole: Genious, half the work is done, you just gotta throw him!
King: Looks like Kanyon's plan has a flaw.
MGK tugs on Jimmy, but Jimmy holds onto the top rope! Jimmy then bonks MGK on the top of the head. MGK staggers back and Jimmy leaps off the top rope at MGK, but MGK grabs him in mid-air and uses the momentum to slam him! The ref says it counts as a scoop slam! Jimmy sits up holding his back in pain and MGK bounces off the ropes and hits the Bullet with a Name! MGK then covers him: 1, 2, 3!
Winner via Pinfall & Advancing to '09 EoD Semifinals Live on PPV: MGK!
King: MGK did it!
Cole: He found a way to slam Jimmy! Amazing! And as a result MGK is going to the End of Days Semifinals round a week from this coming Sunday, where he'll face either the Commish himself or Deathtrain there!
King: And speaking of which stay tuned as we'll be right back folks, and matter of fact that very match between GQ and the Walking Nightmare is coming up...NEXT!
*"All about the Benjamins" hits the P.A. as we return live to ringside and GQ slowly walks out and down to the ring.*
King: Have I ever mentioned how much I love our Commissioner's complex entrance?
Cole: ..............
*As the lights slowly begin to dim, a fog begins to cover the arena. A chill runs through the crowd as they feel an unearthly presence. A ticking noise begins to fill the arena. Tick, tock, tick, tock.....The opening gongs of "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Metallica blast out over the pa system.
"Make his fight on the hill in the early day
Constant chill deep inside
Shouting gun, on they run through the endless grey
On they fight, for they are right, yes, but who's to say?"
As the music continues to play, flames begin to slowly rise out from the sides of the entrance ramp, lining it all the way down.
"For a hill men would kill, why? They do not know
Suffered wounds test their pride
Men of five, still alive through the raging glow
Gone insane from the pain that they surely know"
As the chorus starts, Deathtrain walks out from behind the curtain. He stands at the top of the ramp, staring out into the crowd, watching each of their terrified faces.
"For whom the bell tolls
Time marches on
For whom the bell tolls"
Deathtrain begins to walk down the ramp.
"Take a look to the sky just before you die
It's the last time you will"
The flames on the sides of the ramp shoot up in a big explosion. Deathtrain continues to walk down the ramp.
"Blackened roar massive roar fills the crumbling sky
Shattered goal fills his soul with a ruthless cry"
Deathtrain reaches the ring and walks up the steel steps.
"Strangers now, are his eyes, to this mystery
He hears the silence so loud
Crack of dawn, all is gone except the will to be
Now they see what will be, blinded eyes to see"
Deathtrain climbs over the top rope and stands in the middle of the ring, staring into the fearful crowd.
"For whom the bell tolls
Time marches on
For whom the bell tolls"
The gongs of the outro ring out as Deathtrain stands in the middle of the ring, waiting for the match to begin.*
King: Cole...did you just wet yourself?
Cole: No...but even if I did this guy scares me. A chilling entrance like that is enough to throw off any opponent.

End of Days Tournament '09: Quarterfinals Match #2 of 4
("No DQ Rules" by the order of Commissioner GQ)
Commissioner GQ Money vs. "The Walking Nightmare" Deathtrain
______________________________
The bell rings and the match is under way. Deathtrain stands across the ring from GQ, taunting him. A smile comes across the face of GQ as Obsidian and Kanyon make there way out from the back and stand atop the entrance ramp. They do not go any further. Instead they stand firm on the top of the entrance ramp. Deathtrain sees them and turns towards the ramp. With a point and a yell, the distraction is already in place as GQ comes from behind, clubbing DT in the back. A second strike and a third sends DT back into the corner. GQ trying anything to gain the upper hand, strikes ferociously with kicks and punches into the body of DT. But GQ is giving up 6 inches and almost 80 pounds on Deathtrain and the blows seem to be barely fazing the big man. GQ steps back and charges forward into the corner but DT gets his boot up into the face of GQ. GQ falls straight to his back stretching and holding his jaw.
Cole: The early distraction paid dividends but Deathtrain was quick to put it behind him
King: GQ looks like he’s in over his head here early.
Deathtrain immediately drops down and goes for the cover but GQ kicks out aftera two. Deathtrain mounts GQ and strikes with some hard right hands to the forehead of the commissioner before standing up, dragging GQ to his feet as well by the back of his head. Once to his feet, Deathtrain connects with a strong uppercut that knocks GQ into the corner. GQ is practically sitting on the middle turnbuckle with his arms stretch across the top rope, holding him in a standing position in the corner. GQ charges and connects with a shoulder to the gut of GQ! GQ staggers out of the corner and drops on his face hitting the mat hard. Deathtrain goes for another quick cover but GQ’s feet are hanging just under the ropes and the referee breaks up the pinfall.
Cole: Deathtrain using his size and strength to his advantage early on, wearing down the much quicker GQ Money.
King: But this is our commissioner and he’s got Kanyon and Obsidian standing at the top of the ramp here. I can’t and I won’t rule him out just yet.
GQ rolls out of the ring, holding his face as he walks around the ring. He’s taking the moment to reconstruct his stragegy. Deathtrain, however, is not willing to wait and exits the ring, following GQ around the ring. GQ stops after reaching the corner and turns to face Deathtrain. Seizing the opportunity Deathtrain charges forward, looking to connect with a body splash into the ring post but GQ just moves out of the way. Deathtrain’s shoulder is left wrapped around the ringpost. Now it’s GQ’s turn to capitalize as he grabs hold of the arm of Deathtrain, pushing back his shoulder and pulling it right back into the ringpost. A second time, and then a third time before Deathtrain is able to pull away, leaning against the barricade holding his shoulder.
King: There it is! There’s the opening GQ was looking for.
Cole: Just when things were looking bleak GQ is back in control.
As he faces the crowd, GQ picks up the cable from one of the cameras and comes up behind Deathtrain, wrapping the cable around DT’s throat and choking the walking nightmare! Deathtrain’s initial instinct is to throw back and elbow but he doesn’t get very far before stopping short and dropping to a knee, caressing that shoulder. GQ gets Deathtrain down to a second knee before releasing the choke and shoving his head into the barricade. Deathtrain, leans, on both knees up against the barricade, with his head pressed against it and GQ begins looking for something else. He grabs the ringbell from the timekeeper and strikes Deathtrain in the back of the head! The ding is heard throughout the arena as a startled GQ looks at the ringbell before striking Deathtrain with it again. GQ then throws the bell back to the timekeeper and begins to search under the ring.
King: How nice of him to return the ringbell.
Cole: GQ looks to be in complete control of the match now. Deathtrain is reeling and that shoulder is really going to handicap his strength advantage.
GQ pulls out a table. He sets up the table on the outside of the ring and grabs Deathtrain by the back of his head. He then bounces his head off the ringpost. As Deathtrain stumbles backwords GQ gives him a push and Deathtrain falls back onto the table. GQ quickly leaps up onto the apron and begins climbing the top rope. GQ looks out towards Deathtrain and leaps off the top rope looking for a body splash through a table on the outside but Deathtrain rolls off the table, sending GQ through the table himself!!
Cole: Oh my! GQ may be just as broken as the table! High risk produces high rewards, but there was no reward for our commissioner on that occassion.
King: That certainly was not in the cards.
Both men are down on the outisde and neither making much of an effort to move. The crowd is a frenzy, especially those right at ringside, witnessing the move gone wrong right in front of their eyes. Many of them are reaching over and patting the likes of GQ and Deathtrain on their backs, encouraging both to get up for more. A few more moments go by before DT and GQ are both to their feet. GQ turns and staggers right into a spinebuster from Deathtrain and both are down again!
Cole: Beating after beating after beating. It’s no wonder these two can’t stand right now.
King: The fans love it though. These two are taking each other to their limits.
Cole: There’s a lot on the line in this match. Deathtrain is after that X*Crown title he’s been hunting for so long while GQ is looking to protect that security blanket Kanyon has with both he and Obsidian in this tournament.
King: Both have certainly fought hard for it. Now it’s time for them to dig deep and seize it.
Deathtrain is the first to his feet this time, using the ring apron for support. As he gets there, GQ is only to his knees. Deathtrain charges and strikes with a boot to the gut of GQ. GQ rolls over to this side, right up against the barricade as Deathtrain strikes with some more kicks and boots into the stomach of GQ. Deathtrain picks up GQ and rolls him back into the ring under the bottom rope. DT walks around to the far side of the ring and snags a steel chair, tossing it into the ring before following GQ’s lead and enters the ring.
Cole: This is about to get uglier before it gets any better.
GQ has been using the ropes to help himself up and greets Deathtrain with a flying forearm. It’s enough to stagger the walking nightmare and GQ follows it up with some right hands. He sends Deathtrain across into the far ropes and meets him with a sleeper hold. Deathtrain immediately though runs backwards and squishes GQ against the turnbuckle forcing him to release the hold. Deathtrain turns and looks for a quick strike – a boot to the stomach but GQ leaps onto the middle turnbuckle pushing both of his feet forward into the face of Deathtrain. Deathtrain staggers back and GQ comes off with a crossbody! DT catches him but GQ is able to roll through and make the cover 1....2....almost a three!!
Cole: He did it!! What a counter! GQ is going to End of Days!!!
King: Uhh Cole...Deathtrain kicked out.
Cole: What!?! Oh my that was close!
Both men are quick to their feet and run forward but it’s Deathtrain taking down GQ with a devastating clothesline. The move is so hard and fierce that Deathtrain is once again holding that shoulder – the same shoulder that was ravaged around the ringpost several times earlier. Deathtrain leans over, facing the corner as GQ regroups. He sees the chair that Deathtrain threw into the ring earlier and picks it up. GQ moves forward looking to surprise Deathtrain but Deathtrain, instead, surprises him, punching the chair right back into the face of GQ!
Cole: And it doesn’t faze him. This man is scary strong and just plain scary. That fist right into the chair taking down GQ and not even a grimace for the walking nightmare!
King: This may be over right here. Deathtrain is sizing up GQ.
Deathtrain now begins stalking GQ. He’s motioning to the crowd it’s now time for the Rain of Fury (chokeslam). GQ is slowly crawling around the ring, looking to stagger back up to his feet. Kanyon and Obsidian have begun to make their way down the ramp. They’re coming to the aid of GQ as they smell the end is near. They get about halfway when suddenly Harold comes jogging out. Obsidian sees Harold out of the corner of his eye and motions to Kanyon to turn around. They see Harold and begin moving back.
Booker T: It’s on! It’s finally on. Suckaaaaaaaaaa!!!
Cole: What?
King: I didn’t say anything.
Cole: Me neither?
King: Then who did....
Inside the ring Deathtrain has his hand around the throat of GQ and lifts him for the Rain of Fury but drops him immediately. His shoulder in too much pain he can’t lift GQ up. Deathtrain hunches over and GQ grabs the chair. He raises it strike Deathtrain when it’s suddenly kicked right back into his face! Out of nowhere Platinum connects with a superkick sending the chair into the face of GQ!! The chair flies into the air behind GQ as GQ looks out cold on the mat. Arms and legs sprawled out as Platinum stands over him. Deathtrain, holding his arm sees an opportunity and just drops on top of him. 1...2....3!
Winner via Pinfall & Advancing to '09 EoD Semifinals Live on PPV: Deathtrain!
Cole: Where did he come from!?!?!
King: I didn’t see where he came from. We had Obsidian, Kanyon and Harold out here already, and with so much happening Platinum more or less went undetected. He came out of nowhere and cost our Commissioner the match. He cost him a shot at the X*Crown!!
Cole: Let’s not take anything away from Deathtrain here but really...what just happened out here?
King: And who called us sucka’s?
*Kanyon and Obsidian turn around after hearing the bell, Platinum is gone and when they turn back up the ramp so is Harold. Neither are sure what just happened but they know GQ has lost. Deathtrain is going to End of Days! Kanyon looks both confused and enraged at the same time. One of his proverbial security blankets has officially been eliminated from the tournament just when all seemed like it was going in their favor. Cut to commercial...*
*As we eventually fade back in from the latest commercial break we now see GQ in his locker room backstage, looking groggy and still beat up from the previous tournament match he was just involved with and especially so following the shocking sneak attack by Platinum. Obsidian, Kanyon, and Harold are nearby.*
: You son of a bitch?! How could you distract us like that?
: Really? You're really going to ask me that?
: I'm so glad I bought all these nachos!...but I forgot the soda!
: You suck Harold.
: Kanyon, I need money for a soda before my match against Randy Angel in a few minutes.
: Damnit Obsidian, I don't have any cash on me. Just a card.
: Gimmie!
: I have to be there to sign.
: Then lets go!
: But GQ...
: Harold can watch him.
: Yeah, I guess I could.
*Kanyon looks at Harold, then GQ, then Obsidian. Then shrugs.*
: Fine, whatever.
*They walk off.*
: So GQ, you in the right frame of mind?
: Yes mommy, I would like some chocolate milk.
: Then with the camera here, how about you do some Commissioner...ing?
: Whatever you say Mr. Snufflupagus.
*Harold whispers into GQ's ears.*
: *Ahem*, At End of Days...Kanyon defends the X*Crown title...against Harold Ramis...
*Harold smacks GQ and then whispers in his ear again.*
: -I mean Harold Campbell.
: Okay, now I'll leave you guys alone.
*Harold pats GQ on the head, then shoves him over. He walks off laughing as we fade back out to ringside for the next scheduled matchup and King/Cole quickly respond to this turn of events on commentary.*
King: What an epic championship match that was just made! Kanyon can't be happy about that.
Cole: Well, he'll find out soon enough after he gets back from the concession stand...
King: And we'll also find out between Obsidian and Randy Angel in a matter of moments who's next to reach the final two rounds of the tournament, which ironically will determine Kanyon's next X*Crown challenger after Harold Campbell!
Cole: IF he survives Harold to begin with that is, which is one hell of an "if" in itself by all means. But yeah Kanyon sure seems to have 'em lining up these days to get a shot at him.
King: No doubt about it Cole, everybody across the entire XHF wants a shot at that X*Crown gold, so it's no wonder Kanyon's so particular about when he chooses to defend it, the guy's constantly got a target on his back and a laundry list of enemies a mile long by now.
Cole: What a night so far!
King: End of Days Tournament still continues.
Cole: Everyone trying desparately to advance to the next round.
King: And the next End of Days Tournament matchup is happening now matter of fact.
*"My Own Worst Enemy" by Lit starts to blast on the dark ring area. Suddenly, as the lights fall on the entranceway, out from the curtain comes....a stage hand? He shrugs at the audience, then, with a flashlight in hand starts looking around the entranceway, finally he comes to a man in a suit facing away from everyone, appearing to urinate. The stagehand shines his flashlight on him and the man squintily looks at him, holds up a finger telling the stagehand to wait a second. Then as he finishes what he was doing, he takes a swig out of a bottle of beer, zips up, and spins around, almost falling over. Yes folks, it's Randy Angel. The lights come up as he saunters down to the ring, having to be held up several times by the stagehand. Randy then rolls into the ring and decides not to get up until he has to.*
Cole: How he made it past the first round is unbelievable.
King: What is so unbelievable about it?
*"All about the Benjamins" by Puff Daddy blasts over the P.A. Obsidian walks out eating nachos. He's wearing an expensive looking coat and snazzy sunglasses. GQ comes out behind him, following and strutting. Obsidian walks down to the ring, still eating the nachos and dropping cheese on his jacket. He climbs in the ring and gives a thumbs up to the crowd.*
Cole: I would say that Obsidian has about 64 lbs on Randy.
King: Of course, it is all of those Nachos and Cheese that Obsidian eats.

End of Days Tournament '09: Quarterfinals Match #3 of 4
Randy Angel vs. Obsidian
______________________________
Randy finally gets up and staggers into his corner. The ref has finished checking Obsidian and he find some Nachos in Obsidian hand and made him get rid of the Nachos. Obsidian turns around so that the ref does not see him and stuff his face with the nachos. The ref calls for the bell. Obsidian swallows the last bit just in time. Obsidian goes to the middle of the ring. Randy staggers his way to the middle of the ring. They bring talking trash. Randy tells Obsidian that his breath stinks. Obsidian tells Randy that he looks like shit. Randy tells Obsidian Thank you.
Cole: What an interesting way of starting the match.
King: Where is the damn action?
Randy goes to shake hands with Obsidian and Obsidian slaps his hand away from him. Randy did not take too kindly to that and goes to swing but Obsidian ducks under and Randy pulls his arm back as Obsidian pushes Randy backward. Randy staggers backward. Randy ends up on the ropes. Obsidian goes over to Randy and delivers 2 punches to Randy stomach. Randy looks like he could puke. Obsidian moves away from Randy. Randy leans over and well you can imagine what happen next.
Cole: That is just gross.
King: That is going to smell for the rest of the night.
The ref goes to check on Randy to make sure he is ok. Randy shakes his head in a yes motion. Randy goes to the center of the ring. Obsidian is there waiting. They locked up and Obsidian get a Headlock on Randy. Randy sends Obsidian into the ropes. Obsidian hits the ropes but he holds onto the ropes. He happens to see someone eating some nachos. He steps out of the ring and walks over to the person with the nachos.
Cole: What is Obsidian doing?
King: I think he is hungry.
The ref begins to count. Randy drops to the mat. He figures he does not need to be standing at this moment, beside he felt like he was going to fall, so he made it look like it was a planed fall. The ref makes it to 6 when Obsidian gets into the ring. He sees Randy laying down so he goes and tries for a pin. The ref gets a 1 count before Randy gets a shoulder up.
Cole: Obsidian almost advance to the next round.
King: Randy was just laying there.
Obsidian gets to his feet. He brings Randy to his feet. He goes to swing at Randy but Randy staggers backward avoiding being hit by Obsidian. Obsidian Snap Suplex Randy to the mat. Obsidian goes to the top rope. Meanwhile Randy gets to his feet. Obsidian is about to leap off the rope when Randy staggers into the ref and the ref hits the ropes causing Obsidian to straddle the top rope.
Cole: Talk about a domino effect.
King: That had to hurt.
The camera pans around ringside and you can tell the guys facial expression that it hurts just watching it. Obsidian starts to get off the top rope. Randy tries to help him but ends up pushing Obsidian into the corner. Obsidian comes out of the corner and tries a Clothesline attempt on Randy. Randy ducks under the attempt and as Obsidian turns around Randy gets him in the Big Brother Headlock, but he loses his balance and ends up nailing Obsidian with The Drunk Dropper. Obsidian's head hits the mat hard.
Cole: Obsidian's head hits the mat but at the same time Randy's face hits the mat as well.
King: Yeah but Randy did not feel anything remotely like Obsidian just did.
Randy gets right back up and goes for the pin. The ref begins his count: 1...2...3!

Cole: Randy Angel advances on past Obsidian to make this year's Semifinal round, and furthermore the Main Event between Reeshi and Sexy Jason to determine his next opponent, is next!
King: One hell of a Main Event it will be now that you mention it.
Cole: You don't want to miss it fans, so stay tuned and we'll be right back as Gastro live from John Paul Jones Arena here in Charlottesville continues shortly.
*"I'm Too Sexy For My Shirt" now hits the PA system as we return from our final commercial break of the night and Sexy Jason comes out from behind the curtain to a chorus of crowd pops moments later. He points to his abs. You can hear him saying "I'm buff and I'm the stuff!" as he walks to the ring. He slides underneath the bottom rope. He goes to a turnbuckle, stands on it and points to his abs and the crowd says "Its not sexy unless Sexy Jason says so!". He eventually jumps off the turnbuckle and goes to a second turnbuckle, he stands on it and points to his abs and the crowd says "Its not sexy unless Sexy Jason says so!" He jumps down and gets ready now for his match to ensue.*
Cole: And the Sensational Rookie once again makes one hell of a Sexy entrance here tonight as he looks to keep his hot streak going yet another week, and pick up his biggest win to date to advance on to the Semifinal round of this year's thrilling End of Days Tournament!
King: But he won't even sniff the Semifinals, much less the Finals if THIS man has anything to say to say about it, and we know for a fact he will Cole....
Cole: Can't say I disagree there, but they're very evenly matched so time will tell who the better man is by the end of tonight's broadcast King.
King: We shall see indeed Cole, we shall see...a dominating victory by Reeshi that is!
*The arena now turns to black and guitar riffs echo throughout the arena. Smoke begins to fill the entrance way as the drum begins to join the guitar in the sounds. Flashes of light decorate the stage area as David Draiman's voice lets out a soft "can you feel that..." The crowd rushes to their feet looking to get their snapshot of the XHF legend about to walk through the curtain. Three large pyros go off at the top of the stage to the beat of Draiman's "ooh ah ah ah" The song immediately jumps to it's chorus as "Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed deafens the crowd and is it does Reeshi steps through the smoke and pyro to a loud chorus of boos and flashing lights. He stands atop the entrance way soaking in the feedback from the XHF faithful and walks slowly, yet with a purpose towards the ring. He walks around to the ring, eying up each corner, claiming it as his own before he uses the steps at the front of the entrance to climb onto the apron. He enters the ring and removes his jacket, walking towards the middle of the ring and raising his fist in the air. The boo's and chants grow louder once again, sparking a snarl like smile from Reeshi.*
King: And here's the Big Dog himself, looking to prove once and for all that it really IS his Yard around here as the End of Days Tournament continues!
Cole: And a win over the previously unstoppable Sexy Jason could admittedly go a long way towards making exactly that statement toward the rest of the tourney participants from here on out.

End of Days Tournament '09: Quarterfinals Match #4 of 4
"The Sensational Rookie" Sexy Jason vs. "The Biggest, Baddest Dog in the Yard" Reeshi
______________________________
The bell rings momentarily and both iconic Quarterfinal competitors slowly make their way into the center of the ring, circling each other, sizing each other up bit by bit now as they officially stand face to face for the first time ever in an XHF ring and what's certain to be a main event Gastro matchup for the ages is finally set to come to fruition. Sexy Jason backs away momentarily, leaning back on the ropes and apparently checking their elasticity. Reeshi meanwhile smirks at this possible opening for an early assault and charges straight at Jason while his head remained turned away. Sexy Jason wisely slips down however and flips Reeshi completely over the top rope and to the outside of the ring! Jason then struts into the center of the ring, flexing his muscles a bit and enciting the crowd to cheers. Reeshi's already up outside though and simply shakes his head in utter disdain toward the previous crowd reaction over Jason's taunting. Sexy Jason turns and beckons Reeshi to return to the ring. He does so while Reeshi points up at him in a 'You're going to pay for that' manner. Jason spreads his arms wide and confidently shrugs.
Cole: One whale of a rivalry between these two men it would seem.
King: Of course there is.. they're both after the same prestigious status as End of Days Tournament Winner for '09, and more importantly a shot at Kanyon's X*Crown gold itself come July 9th.
After allowing him to slide back inside the ring Jason gestures to Reeshi right away for a lock up. Reeshi walks forward, bearing the same old sadistic smirk he always seems to have. Reeshi finally locks up with Sexy Jason but after a very short time he breaks the lock and stomps on Jason's right knee, sending him down to that knee. He stomps on Jason some more. Jason can't take much more of it and rolls quickly away, getting to his feet before Reeshi can catch up with him. Jason doesn't wait for Reeshi though and attacks with a spear. Jason keeps Reeshi down and lays a flurry of stiff punches into his head. Jason stops with the punches and grabs Reeshi's head now, slamming it repeatedly into the canvas. Satisfied with the amount of pain he's infliced Jason eventually gets up and stalks Reeshi from behind, beckoning him to get up. Reeshi does so after a very short time. Jason then lunges for a fierce clothesline attempt, but Reeshi manages to duck this and as Jason's legs are briefly apart he takes the opportunity for a sneaky low blow from behind moments later. Jason drops like a lead brick as a result. The crowd gives Reeshi some real heat but surprisingly the referee didn't spot it.
Cole: Dirty play there.. how can our highly trained referee not see something like that?
King: We have trained referees now? And anyway..it's not cheating if you don't get caught Cole.
Reeshi picks up Jason who, understandably is reluctant to leave the canvas at this point. Reeshi looks into the face of Sexy Jason, appearing to speak a word or two of inaudible smack talk toward his hated nemesis. Then he pats him on the cheek and slams his head into the mat with a hard DDT! And Reeshi being the ruthless individual he is, doesn't stop there by any means as he picks him up again and walks him into the nearby turnbuckle. He then whips him across the ring and Jason slams hard into the opposite turnbuckle, stumbling back out a short distance only to be clotheslined hard into it again by Reeshi. Jason falls to the ground. Reeshi watches him fall to the ground and seems to share some sort of inner joke with himself as he chuckles a bit. Reeshi then picks up Jason and takes him to the turnbuckle yet again. This time though he lifts him up onto it. He climbs up closely behind and sets up for a top rope superplex.
King: It was quick.. but here comes the guaranteed Quarterfinals victory of our the Biggest, Baddest Dog in the XHF Yard here tonight!
Cole: Not so fast there my friend, don't count the Xtremely Sensational Rookie out just yet!
Jason now seems to get a sudden surge of energy from somewhere as he reaches forward and pushes Reeshi back off the turnbuckle just before he could finish setting up for the suplex and he lands hard onto his back down below. Jason doesn't waste any time, as while Reeshi is still lying on the canvus Jason leaps off from the top turnbuckle and lands an extremely hard Elbow Drop. Reeshi writhes in pain as Jason slowly sits back up beside him. But rather than making the cover as most would've expected Jason stands all the way up and begins stomping furiously on Reeshi's shoulder a couple of times before starting to pick him up altogether, a clear sign of just how incredibly personal and heated this ongoing feud has become over the past several weeks. On the way up Jason knees Reeshi in the face, sending him reeling backwards and onto his back. Jason then runs at the ring ropes and hits a very quick Springboard Moonsault on the rebound! Jason seems to have done something wrong though or tweaked a muscle as he falls over and clutches his own gut in pain thereafter.
King: HAHA! That move hurt him even more than it did Reeshi I think!
Cole: Obviously Jason's not quite as invincible as he thought, but nontheless he's still one sexy beast and that's still gotta count for something, right, right?
King: .....Um, if you say so Cole, if you say so.
Jason grits his teeth and somehow shakes off the pain though as he realizes the sheer magnitude of what's at stake here tonight and digs down deep so to speak as he picks himself back up, bringing Reeshi along with him. Jason lays a punch into the face of Reeshi, the crowd reacting loudly as he does so. This motivates Jason a little more and he lays a second punch into the face of Reeshi again with the same crowd reaction as they give a defeaning pop toward him and continue rooting their hero on. Jason smiles, hops back, hops forward and appears to be winding up some form of huge punch but unfortunately for him Reeshi is having none of it this time around. Reeshi kicks Jason in the gut and hits a jawbreaker. Jason doesn't go down but staggers backwards against the ropes. Reeshi follows up by walking up to Dave and just kicking his legs away. No technicality, no real athleticism, just a ruthless sweeping kick that sends the Sensational Rookie to the floor. Reeshi then gets in position on top of Jason before he can react at all, grabbing his leg from behind as he successfully locks in....YES the STF, better known as the Under The Sea!
King: Now! Now we're going to see the victory that's been a foregone conclusion all along and Reeshi will indeed move on to the Semifinals where we all know this certified legend belongs at!
Cole: Again don't count your chickens before they hatch though King, this one's far from over if Jason has anything to say about it-
King: -Which he won't!
Jason reaches back toward his leg, trying and flailing desperately to get Reeshi to release the hold at first. But Reeshi simply grins in maniacal fashion as he twists the entire hold harder, determined to literally break Sexy Jason in half one way or another here tonight. Jason meanwhile tries to crawl toward the ropes.. he inches closer... closer.... but then Reeshi drags him right back into the dead center of the ring. Unfortunately though for him this gives Jason just enough momentum to contort his body around with the twist applied to only his leg and no longer his face as well. He now lies on his back and gathers enough strength within himself to push Reeshi completely away with a foot to the chest, thus forcing him to break the strangehold he had on Jason's leg at long last. Reeshi then bounces back from the ropes only to find Jason already up, the crowd really roaring to life for him, giving him energy and more inner strength to carry on. Jason hobbles a bit on his bad leg but throws a dropkick directly at Reeshi. It connects and sends Reeshi rolling across the floor, but soon enough he's back up to his feet. Jason looks for another kick, this time with just one leg, but Reeshi suddenly catches it in mid-air and throws it away, only to have it spin around and kick him the other way as Jason's opposite leg connects with his face! Reeshi's certainly not beaten yet though. Jason kicks again but this time Snake catches his leg and sure enough throws it straight down to the floor. Reeshi seems to say 'AHA!' and goes for his own kick moments later. Jason catches this one though and lands a step-over heel kick which leaves Reeshi stunned and temporarily out of it on the canvus below. Jason then looks all around at the cheering crowd of loyal fans he has and makes a note of where exactly in the ring Reeshi is. Right in the middle. So is it time for the Sexy Splash? Sexy Jason sure thinks it is from the looks of things!
Cole: Listen to this crowd King, they are right behind Jason 200%, and this could truly be the end of the line for Reeshi in this year's End of Days tournament!
King: Oh don't be stupid Cole. Everyone knows you can't have more than 110%!
Meanwhile Reeshi disagrees, as while Jason climbs up top on the nearby turnbuckle and takes position for the Sexy Splash Reeshi sits up out of nowhere, grabs Jason's ankles and pulls, sending him down to the floor right alongside him as the crowd boos loudly toward this unfortunate turn of events for Jason's sake. Both men get return fully to their feet at about the same time shortly thereafter. Jason no longer has time for remorse and starts punching Reeshi repeatedly. But Reeshi's not exactly the patient type either and starts beating Jason back. An all out fist fight has erupted and it is unlikely to break up soon as the back and forth brawl ensues. Except that it does as Jason finally grabs Reeshi for an Irish whip. Reeshi reverses though and sends Jason running to the ropes. On the return Reeshi flips Jason high into the air and hits a devastating powerslam. He stays down for the pin as he hooks one of Jason's legs tightly: 1...2....Thr-NO, Kickout by Sexy Jason!
King: Almost a win for Reeshi right then and there!
Cole: But "almost" doesn't count for diddly squat when it comes to End of Days King, all that does count plain and simple is the victory!
The now livid Reeshi stands and looks down in pure disgust at Sexy Jason, who is clutching his gut. Reeshi puts two and two together mentally as he quickly devises another plan of sorts, raising his elbow high and then landing hard onto Jason's injured gut. He stands and does exactly the same thing again. Reeshi stands for a third time but instead of dropping he's quite happy to lay a series of relentless stomps into the gut of Sexy Jason. Reeshi finally stops and picks up Jason again, and after laying a couple of uppercut punches to his gut he whips his adversary into the turnbuckle. Jason hangs limply in place as Reeshi warms up the crowd booing at him as he does so and they once again begin chanting in favor of Sexy Jason. Reeshi pays no attention though as he charges at Jason moments later for a vicious spear. But the Sexy One must have overheard a few words of warning from the nearby audience members as he pulls himself together and sidesteps the spear at literally the last possible second! Reeshi dives through the turnbuckle as a result and connects with the pole as shoulder meets steel head on. Jason meanwhile collapses to his knees, still clutching his gut as a grimace crosses his face.
Cole: I just wonder if Jason has anything left to give, King.
King: He came with nothing in the first place tonight, nothing really but a win over Tara Fenix and we all know that one was tainted by MGK to say the least!
Cole: Oh now that's just a bunch of foolish nonsense King, Jason's been on one hell of a roll lately and deserves a ton of credit for all he's accomplished as of late!
King: Well he won't be getting it from me that's for sure, but Reeshi on the other hand deserves all the credit in the world, and then some!
The crowd start clapping and loudly chanting 'Finish Him, Finish Him' in regards to Reeshi. Jason looks up, his face showing considerable pain after all he's endured from his legendary opponent thus far this evening. But something about the crowd is keeping him going to some degree nonetheless. He now stands tall, looking left and right at the crowd who still keep right on cheering him on. They have obviously chosen their next potential X*Crown Champion for later on in due time and his name is Sexy Jason. Yet, unfortunately ruining this emotional moment Reeshi has recovered and spins Jason around, delivering a sneaky thumb to the eyes before lifting Jason all the way onto his shoulders. He then abruptly goes for the Fish Out of Water finishing maneuver but Jason miraculously slips from his shoulders in the process and plants HIS head into the mat with a DDT!
Cole: He's still alive and kicking King, the Sensational Rookie just flat out won't die in this match!
King: It won't last though, mark my words Cole, he's destined for defeat regardless!
Jason then slowly gets up, stalking Reeshi from behind as he signals toward the crowd that this one's over once and for all soon enough. Reeshi gets up meanwhile and staggers about. He finally realizes where Sexy Jason is but by then it's too late. Jason grabs Reeshi just as he turns around and plants him with a picture perfect scoop slam piledriver, aka the Sexy Relaxer! Jason falls over, downright exhausted after the move and tries for the pin as he hooks the leg of Reeshi: 1....2....Thre-NO, Reeshi gets a shoulder up! Jason's not happy and is in absolute disbelief in fact, much like everyone else in attendance here tonight. Reeshi somehow raised one of his shoulders off the mat, most likely out of pure instinct, but he's still not moving the rest of his body whatsoever. Jason then angrily climbs the turnbuckle again and briefly motions toward his waist in a belt-like fashion, a clear indication of his intention to become our next X*Crown Champion sooner rather than later.
Cole: I do believe we're about to see a first King.
King: What? Reeshi lose to the inferior likes of Sexy Jason? Never.
Cole: He's not moving and appears to be out cold though...
King: Of course he's not...he's just playing possum Cole, that's all.
Jason then faces straight ahead and launches himself high into the air. It's a double shooting star press and it has a very high leap and massive hang time on it. It's the Sexy Splash! Sexy Jason comes crashing down towards Reeshi for the ultimate finale, BUT WAIT! Reeshi has his knees up! Jason connects incredibly hard with the knees on his gut and receives so much impact that he bounces back up onto his feet amazingly.
Cole: GOOD GRIEF!
King: Holy crap, that was unreal! I told you Reeshi was playing possum! Jason's really committing suicide here tonight by thinking he could actually win this match!
Cole: That insane, sickening impact as he crashed and burned just then certainly can't have helped Jason's already injured torso that's for sure.
King: And now Reeshi's on the verge of going in for the permanent kill and shattering the hearts of countless Sexy Jason fans across the globe, do it Reesh, DO IT!
Reeshi quickly gets up and gives his adversary a brutal kick to the gut, more than ready to finish the dazed and shaky Sexy Jason off in his own anxious regard with an undoubtable Coral Reesh attempt, but a split second before he could put him in position for this he's caught off guard and gets distracted altogether as he catches a fleeting climpse out of the corner of his eye of a bald-headed figure who's just jumped over the nearby crowd barrier out of nowhere and who has an all too familiar weapon of choice gripped tighly in one of his hands with a look of pure disdain on his face....IT'S RAGE!
Cole: MY GOD, HE'S BACK, THE REVOLUTIONARY REDNECK HAS RETURNED TO THE XHF!
King: Damnit, damnit, damnit, this can't be, it just, it can't!
Cole: Oh but it IS King! And furthermore he may be about to get his well deserved personal vengeance at long last for every single thing those two dispicable scumbags Reeshi and Tara Fenix did to his own wife Torrie inside the hellacious confines of that Steel Cage earlier this year!
Instantly upon noticing Rage's looming presence just outside the ring Reeshi turns completely away from Sexy Jason and his eyes go utterly wide in a mixture of shock and uncontrollable anger, clearly over the fact that he visibly failed to finish the job a while back and take out the infamous Bald-Headed Behemoth of the XHF for good when he originally had the opportunity. His and Rage's equally determined set of eyes soon lock together again for the first time in quite a while as Rage shows no fear or intimidation whatsoever, surprisingly tossing the tire iron aside right away and then quickly climbing all the way up and inside the ring itself while Reeshi stares him down intently. The two immensely bitter rivals seem on the verge at this point of a physical confrontation to settle this unresolved personal issue between them once and for all.
Cole: Uh oh, now that Rage has decided to crash the party so to speak this unresolved war between he and his despised nemesis Reeshi is about to boil over for the final time seemingly, and neither man is backing down a single solitary inch as things heat up here at ringside!
King: Yeah not good, not good at ALL, there's about to be some major bloodshed in a matter of moments if both of these men have anything to say about it.
Cole: Yep that much is inevitable I agree, since if there's one thing you especially don't do it's lay your hands on another man's wife and carelessly beat her to a pulp, and Reeshi did exactly that not too long ago so it looks to be the long overdue moment of truth right about now, and payback time as far as Rage is concerned.
Rage then decides to take matters into his own hands and makes the first move as he rushes straight toward Reeshi with the intention of clotheslining his head right off his body and annihilating him for good! BUT, just as he reaches him Reeshi manages to duck out of the way and as he does Rage still connects on the clothesline attempt however, but accidentally it's Sexy Jason directly behind Reeshi who he connects with head on! Instantly, cupping both hands on his forehead a shocked Rage realizes the horrific mistake he's just made and quickly spins back around to go charging after his original target again while Jason remains unmoving and visibly out cold nearby on the canvus. But as far as the referee himself is concerned it's also entirely too late in terms of the ongoing match that's still technically been in progress to this point in time, and moments later he abruptly calls for the bell which begins repeatedly ringing while Rage and Reeshi have engaged several feet away in an all out, back and forth melee of a brawl with fists flying everywhere and each of them already starting to bleed profusely from their faces!
Cole: Hey what the, what the hell does all this mean in terms of the End of Days tourney Semifinals though?!! And by the way someone needs to get out here quick to break up Rage and Reeshi before they literally rip each other to shreds and there's nothing left of either one of these men!
The referee is then seen conversing some more as he leans over the ropes in a lengthy conversation with the ringside announcer, apparently telling him some very detailed instructions about the way he's chosen to interpret the situation and more importantly how to announce the actual result of the Quarterfinal match as it were. Finally, after a full minute or so of careful deliberation the two men end their conversation as a whole group of XHF security members have also rapidly made their way out to the ring in the meantime and gradually forced Rage and Reeshi apart against their will and into opposite corners of the ring, where they're now being held firmly, and reluctantly in place by about five men apiece due to just how absurdly strong and determined each of these XHF legends are to lock up again and downright destroy one another. The ref is now seen tending to the fallen Sexy Jason as well, helping him to slowly sit and then stand all the way back up as the ring announcer remains outside the ring and momentarily raises the mic to his lips as a final conclusion to tonight's main event is forthcoming one way, or another from the looks of things...
Announcer: *Ahem*, now then ladies and gentlemen, due to what's been, hereby deemed as a Double Disqualification as a result of Outside Interference, interference that is which was distinctly aimed toward Reeshi, yet ended up involving Sexy Jason purely by accident, it has been ruled by the referee that in the sheer interest of unbiased fairness to both competitors involved in tonight's main event, well not just one, but BOTH individuals are officially allowed to advance on to the next round of this year's End of Days Tournament as a direct result!
King: Huh? Is that, um, even logically possible?!!
Cole: Well, it's certainly never happened quite this way before throughout our illustrious history as a company, so it's a new one on me to say the least, but technically yes it's possible since now the Semifinal match involving Randy Angel as the opponent would simply be re-adjusted to a triple threat contest of sorts, apparently.
King: And what an epic, epic triple threat match that's already destined to be in fact, so I can't wait to see this same matchup from tonight's Gastro all over again, except with the added twist of a third opponent in the form of Randy Angel! Man, June 28th can't get here fast enough now as far as I'm concerned!
Cole: Yeah it's bound to be a pretty surreal atmosphere in terms of the X*Crown stakes involved suffice to say, and in the grand scheme of things none of the remaining five contenders even knows who or what to prepare for still since they don't even know yet if they'll make it to the Finals round, and matter of fact even if they do they don't know who they'd be facing there! But again congrats to, bizarrely enough both Sexy Jason AND Reeshi for advancing it would appear, and until next Wednesday at the Countdown to End of Days Pay-Per-View Pre-Show we say goodnight, and so long folks, and as always, don't forget to take it to the Xtreme!
*With that the XHF logo flashes briefly across the screen, and as an intensely dramatic parting shot the camera focuses in once more on the three men who now all stand with grim, equally fierce and unpleased expressions on their faces as the various refs and arena security members who've poured out to ringside are continuing to hold each of them back in opposite corners, with Rage and Reeshi still desparately wanting to get their hands on one another for plenty obvious enough personal reasons, and furthermore Sexy Jason who also seems to be visibly irate towards Rage after he accidentally cost him any chance he would've had here tonight at cleanly eliminating Reeshi from any and all current X*Crown contention once and for all. In the midst of this utterly unexpected, and rather muddled, yet exciting mess of a scenario at ringside this week's edition of Gastro slowly draws to a close for good, and End of Days '09 live on Pay-Per-View looms large in the week yet to come with not just four, but five equally motivated challengers left gunning for Kanyon's coveted X*Crown throne in the wake of tonight's absolutely astonishing turn of events from start, to finish...*
