2020 JROK Year End Awards Show

[Kira Izumi]

Kira: "that was uh... awesome. anyways next up is our future of JROK award. this goes to any wrestler under 25."

Kira: "in third place we have Hayley Grimes. in second place we have a tie. it's Nausiaa Suzuki and Fukushima Zombie."

Kira: "and first place goes to a former champion. a great performer... Brendan Harding!"

[bloodiedfox]

We cut to Brendan at The Bar. He smirks and raises a drink to the camera.

JROK fans, thank you very much for the award. I look forward to going one better this year and taking the top title from STRiFE. Get ready, because if you thought Dr Zen was something before, you ain't seen nothing yet.

He gives the camera a too sweet before we cut away.

[Kira Izumi]

Kira: "bold words from Brendan. but now we move onto our next award. Stable of the year! in third place we have a tie between The Pack and Death Startling."

Kira: "in second place we have Kado and in first place we have SKY Force!"

[Kyle]

Making this face, Keith Williams appears on-screen and interrupts any chance SKY Force has of accepting their award.

Keith Williams: "SKY Force?! Stable of the year?! Tell me you're joking!!"

Rolling his eyes, Keith Williams glowers.

Keith Williams: "Fuck you, Charles. Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you."

Flipping a double middle finger at the camera, the short clip fades to black.

[Kira Izumi]

Kira: "what the?! your not SKY Force! anyways they're probably asleep being in america and all so we'll move onto the next award. Heel of the year!"

Kira: "in third place we have Charles, Nausicaa Suzukiand Esmerelda Kanyon."

Kira: "in second place we have me! well then. and in first place we got... STRiFE!"

[Kira Izumi]

Kira: "lets keep the show rolling folks, this time with face of the year! to start it off a tie for third place with Anna Daniels, Lucas Swann, Olympia and Wolf Fang Ayame."

Kira: "in second place we have Fukushima Zombie . and in first place we have a three way tie with Deco, Randy Angel and Momoko Honda!"

[Deco]

Deco blinks into the camera for a moment.

Deco: Ahhh... three way tie? Really? I just...

Meanwhile, Eve is cheering in the background shouting, "TWO TROPHIES TWO TROPHIES". Deco regains her composure.

Deco: This is very sweet. I'm glad you all like to root for me. And Randy. And Momoko. I don't think I've done quite enough to be mentioned in such high regards yet, but, it is certainly an honor to receive the award. Although, you've messed up now.

She smirks into the camera.

Deco: If you gave this to me in 2020, you'll have no choice but to give it to me in 2021 too. You'll see.

[Momoko Honda]

Momo-chan gives a cheerful, heart warming smile. You can simple feel the emotion through the camera.

"One word can express my feelings......grateful. Even though the results ended in a tie between three."

Nodding her head from side to side.

"Just like me they worked hard to win this award as well. But....."

Momo-chan pauses, holding up her finger with her eyes closed. The pause felt like a eternity. Her eyes snapped open.

"Next time, hopefully I will win alone."

[Mongo the Destroyer]

*Bucking the trend of nobody actually being at this awards show, Randy Angel stumbles out of the back, bottle of sake in his hand and struts/wobbles to the podium.*

Randy: YES! WE DID IT EVERYONE! I have been recognized as having the best face in all of J-ROK!

*Kira leans in*

Kira: ...along with Deco and Momoko

*Randy straightens up and slicks back his hair.*

Randy: Oh, a menage a trois with two of J-ROK's best! Ha! Eat that Keith Williams! I bet that's what you really wanted! HAHA!

*He grabs the award and cradles it.*

Randy: Anyway, I'd like to thank my genes for giving me this beautiful face. I'd also like to thank my partner and best friend in the world, Kris Quake, for helping me to overcome stupid Eric Havok and get sponsored by Super Sake.

*He holds up the sake bottle in one hand and the award in the other.*

Randy: THIS IS ALL FOR YOU, SUPER SAKE! Who I'd also like to thank for sponsoring us! Remember to drink Super Sake responsibly!

*He thinks for a moment.*

Randy: Oh, and thanks to my brother, Nelly Angel, for trying to teach me everything he knew while I was getting wasted.

*Randy turns to the curtain.*

Randy: HEY I WON SOMETHING! SAKE BOMBS FOR EVERYONE- CARE OF SUPER SAKE!

*Back to the camera.*

Randy: Thanks again everyone and have a great night!

*He stumbles back to the back to party*

[Kira Izumi]

Kira: "i think he's a little confused, but that's ok. because now we're onto the final award of the night! JROK's wrestler of the year!"

Kira: "in third place we have a tie between Nausicaa Suzuki and Fukushima Zombie!"

Kira: "in second place we have STRiFE! wow what an upset! many probably thought she had this one in the bag. but that leaves us with limited options left... and the winner for best wrestler of the year is..."

Kira: "Dylan Black !!!!!! the X*Crown champion won it!"

[Dylan]

Dylan's face shows up once more, a big self-obsessed grin on his face.

Dylan: Wrestler of the Year. Heh. Fucking amusing, considering how far and few between my appearances were.

He leans in.

Dylan: But I want to give you guys a few cliff notes on why I am the Wrestler of the Year. It takes more than matches, wins vs losses. It takes global representation, something this crew has clearly lacked until this year. It takes being able to talk on the mic, captivate every person that comes to see you. And finally, it takes the hardware. 

He holds up the X*Crown. Defiant. Perhaps angry. Angry, yet smirking.

Dylan: But most importantly, it's about the undeniable fact that I BROUGHT J-ROK FROM THE RUINS AND RUBBLE IT ONCE WAS AND MADE IT A PHOENIX REBORN! I MADE J-ROK RELEVANT! And I...

He sits back, smirking.

Dylan: ...am gonna be the one to burn it down behind me.

Fade. To. Black.
