Name: Gaz "All Day" Maybury
Height: 6'4
Weight: 290
Alignment: Babyface
Wrestling Style: Brawler
Description: Oliver Reed. Black haired, blue eyed, overweight, drinker that has seen better days.
Background: Former rugby player turned wrestler, retired from Rugby for Wales in 1997 at the age of 24 after being a prodigy due to a knee injury. Was one of the more popular figures in wrestling, but was always solid but unspectacular and achieved more on his charisma than ring ability as "Mr Great" to save his body and left young, and on his own terms in 2005 at 31. Went back to his native Wales to work as a Rugby commentator, but a tabloid story about children he's never seen combined with throwing a glass at a journalist who called him past it in a Wrexham pub has left him with legal fees and maintainance to pay. And TV stations won't touch him again. So at 48 he's strapping up the knees and hoping for the best. Bills need paying! So, how can someone who wasn't a good wrestler, but used to coast on his name and character going to get on when he's been gone for 15 years and doing it in Canada where he never even wrestled in his prime, never mind now? God knows, but the odds are against him!
Outlook: 48, past it. Not even fit to be in the ring. There to collect a pay cheque. But when he gets that old look in his eye, he's Mr Great again. A case of not being as good has he once was, but as good once as he ever was. He can roll back the years, when he does get out of the way, but it's rare he can with his bad knees, back, neck and being unfit. If he does well, he's got that chance of making it again. And that's what he's battling for. Mind you, his attitude is always sunny. He's nowhere near an optimist, Christ, he thinks the worst of every thing, but he's always got a gallows sense of humour about things. If you can't win, why not have a laugh about it?
Moveset: Lariat, Rugby tackle, HANDS OF STONE BIG RIGHT HAND (Just a right cross punch)
Finisher: MAIN EVENT SPINEBUSTER. Greatsault (Never to be hit. The day that Moonsault connects it'll be with so much force the world will probably implode. But fair play, he still goes for it)
Allies: Depends if they'll borrow him a few quid and can help him pay for his mortgage.
