(The scene opens at a playground. Various groups of children are running around playing, but the camera takes special notice of a smaller boy, maybe about ten years old, who is making an attempt at playing basketball but himself. He lines up a shot at the basket and shoots, but the ball bounces off the rim and away from the kid. The camera follows the ball as it bounces towards another, bigger kid, who picks up the ball. The smaller boy runs up for him, but goes pale when he sees who has his ball. The bigger boy smiles, but there is a sort of malevolence behind it.)
BIGGER KID: Hey, Dicksneeze! Lost your ball, huh?
(The smaller kid shifts uncomfortably, refusing to meet the would-be bully's gaze.)
SMALLER KID: Come on, Tommy. My mom just bought me that ball for my birthday-
TOMMY: Oh, your mommy bought it for you? Wouldn't want to upset Dicksneeze's mommy.
(Tommy holds out the ball toward the bullied boy, only to snatch it back away when the smaller boy tries to take it back. Tommy holds the ball out and takes a run up to boot the ball away, off into the woods at the edge of the park. The smaller boy watches, dejected, then starts to slink away when Tommy grabs him by the shirt.)
TOMMY: Where are you going, loser? Not gonna tell your mommy on me, are you? If you say anything to anyone, then you know what's going to happen.
(The bullied boy pales and nods his head. Tommy starts to release the smaller boy, then suddenly pulls him into a feigned punch. The smaller boy cries out in fear, but the bully lets him go without hitting him. The boy falls to his knees, and neither the camera, nor the bullies, fail to notice a growing damp spot on the kid's leg.)
TOMMY: Hahahaha! Look, guys, Dicksneeze pissed himself! I knew you were a sissy, but this is ridiculous! Hahahaha!
VOICE: Lay off him, kid.
(Tommy suddenly looks worried that he's going to be caught, but when the camera pans to reveal Bootleg Dragon, the bully rolls his eyes.)
TOMMY: We're just having some fun. Not like some loser in a costume is really going to do something about it.
(Dragon goes to help the bullied kid up to his feet, ignoring the bully for the time being.)
DRAGON: You think being a bully makes you cool or tough or something? Do you think that picking on your friend here makes you look impressive? You should be ashamed of yourself. Being a bully doesn't make you cool. It makes you pathetic. You shouldn't strive to be the bad guy, you should try and make things better, for yourself and for everyone.
(Tommy scoffs.)
TOMMY: Lemme guess what's coming next. You're gonna say that when you're bullied that you should go and tell an adult or the cops, right? Stuff it up your ass, you Power Rangers reject.
(Dragon is silent for a moment, brushing off the bullied kid, before he turns his full attention to Tommy.)
DRAGON: Unfortunately for you, Mr. Bully, I'm not here to preach that you should go an tattle on every punk-ass that hassles you. 'Go and tell an adult' is the anthem of the milquetoast. No, Tommy, was it? I'm not here today to preach a method of 'go and tell his mom' or a teacher or whatever. This world is doomed if we encourage people to be wimps. We don't need safe spaces, we don't need people who get triggered at every little thing that comes up. I am here, Tommy, to offer your little bullied friend here two words of advice. Any guesses?
TOMMY: Don't cry?
(Dragon whispers something in the bullied kid's ear, then makes a gesture, ignoring the bully who is laughing with his friends.)
DRAGON: Pay attention.
(Before Tommy has a chance to process what Dragon has said, the bullied kid pounces on him, clapping his hands on Tommy's ears, and then slamming his head into the bully's nose. The other kids scatter, but the bully quicklyfalls under the smaller boy's assault. Dragon starts to walk away, and the camera pans to follow him.)
DRAGON: Y'see that? I wish someone had told me that when I was kid. Nobody changes the world by being a wimp. If you're being bullied, or intimidated, or someone is using fear to control you, nothing changes if you don't fight back. The people that are using that fear to control you are just as weak as they're making you feel, so if you give them a taste of their own medicine, only then will things start to change. You're not a hero like me, but that doesn;t mean that you don't have power. Fight back, and you can help start changing the world.
Dragon poses, flashing a peace sign.
DRAGON: Remember, the villains in your life are obstacles for you to overcome. Do what you have to to overcome, and you'll never regret it.
(The camera pans back to the two kids. Tommy is on the ground whimpering, and the smaller kid is standing over top of him with a vicious, victorious grin on his face.)
DRAGON: Come on, kid. I'll buy you a hot dog.
(Dragon and the smaller boy walk off, leaving the bully in a quivering heap. The camera pans back toward the sky, then fdes to black.)
