Hey gang! It's been a while since we've done any form of announcements or updates, mainly because we haven't needed to, we've all been ticking over quite nicely. However, looking ahead to the next few months it felt like a good time to provide some updates.
NEW ADMIN
Let's start with the big one, NLW has a new admin to help Mav and I out, because I'm a bit busier now I'm back in work and I don't want to pile too much on anybody's plates, so I'm delighted to announce that Kris is now part of our team. Nothing else on this front is changing, Mav and I will still be answering any questions, although adding Kris means we have a US-based admin so some of you may not have to wait for me to wake up to get answers any more!
ALL THINGS TAG TEAMS
Look at us getting some more tag teams! At the moment We don't feel that there's quite enough to justify official NLW Tag Titles (small wink to The New South), but should any of you wish to go after the global XHF Tag Team Titles, you have our full support. A reminder of standings and rules HERE. Remember, you'll need to add your applications to the global section in order to get a shot, but teams are already accumulating points! If you have any questions on any of this do let me know and I'll do my best to help you out.
Secondly, there's been some feedback on rp management, specifically in and around where one handler may have to face two, we haven't forgotten about this but any further opinions on how people would like to see tag matches managed are welcomed, we may tweak things in the coming weeks and will of course let you know if that's the case.
NETWORK SHOWS AND NLW
With Supremacy firmly in the rear view mirror, next on the Network schedule is the XHF Rumble, which I believe will be April 25th. For those that don't know, anybody can sign up to the Rumble, which is a complete free for all both in concept and application. There are no word limits, no RP quantity limits, it's a slog, but the winner will be the X*Crown Champion, so the prize matches the size of the challenge! NLW will have a show on April 17th, and the decision has been made that if any of you are going to have a proper go at the Rumble, you're welcome to contact us and opt out of that show.
We then have a show on May 1st, and with it being just a week after the Rumble, we have decided to make it an opt in show...that's right, it'll be another Open Fight Night. For those who don't know what that is, here's the information from when we did it last time. Now I can hear some of you in the back groaning because we overdid these shows back in the days of AXW, and I'd agree with you. So I just want to assure that OFN will only occur twice a year, around the Rumble and around Christmas, both with the intention to keep things easier on you guys (as well as us).
MAY PPV
Finally, I'd like to once again say you all rocked out for Masquerade, and I really hope you all enjoyed it. However, if you look at our calendar you'll notice that at the next PPV is at the end of May, and it's currently got no name. All suggestions are welcome!
And that about covers it, as always do let any of us know if you have any queries!
