Tag-Team Match
Aiden Merric / Mad Dog Smith vs. Frankie Webb / Xiaolong
Both Frankie Webb and Aiden Merric came out with wins at Road to Victory. For Webb, the teenager tasted gold for the first time and now he has to face-off against the longest-ever holder of the Phoenix Title. Joining him in the match will be Xiaolong, will the two-time Phoenix Champion have advice and guidance to help them get what would be a huge win for the pair of them? In their way is not just Aiden Merric but a debuting Mad Dog Smith, bringing a brand of chaos and excitement that is sure to be a handful when matched with the brutality of his partner. Which team will start their path to Clash of the Icons on the right foot? Tune in to find out!
Singles Match
Kallie Reznik vs Greg Adkins
We saw these two mix it up in the Scramble at Road to Victory and whilst Reznik walked away with the victory and a U.S. title shot in her back pocket, it wasn't done with ease. Adkins might not have picked up the win but he's no easy match when it's 1 vs 1. If he controlled his deviant nature he very well could have walked into Road to Victory as the Prestige champion. What will the rookie make of the more experienced Adkins and how much of an interest will Erin Gordon take in the match?
Singles Match
Neo James Carner vs Jitterman
Whilst both men walked away empty-handed at Road to Victory, counting either man out at any stage is at your peril. Jitterman might not have won the Scramble but he did survive the match without being pinned or submitted. Can the nefarious Neo do what seven people couldn't? He's sure to be wanting to set the record straight after the Revenants suffered a net-loss of one on titles held? Will he use the match to send a message to Erin Gordon or Adam Sanders or will John Eden and the Jitterman claim the highest-profile scalp of their AWF careers?
Singles Match (Non-title)
Erin Gordon vs. Cross Recoba
Talking of high-profile wins, you would argue that both these fighters picked up theirs at Road to Victory. With the title not on the line, Erin will be wanting to send a message to her many suitors that she's playing for keeps with the United States belt. Cross, on the other hand, will be keen to make sure that she doesn't double the list of people who have beaten him in AWF.
Main Event:
Tag-Team Match
Impossibly Awkward (Adam Sanders / Betsy Granger) vs. Chris Card / Dakota Jennings
(1 RP per Handler)
Heading up our show is a match that, on paper, has barnstormer written all over it. We have the team of Impossibly Awkward facing off against two former High Finance members. March ends with Eddie Walker's management looking to be wise, Adrien Cochrane won the X*Crown and Adam Sanders beat Keith Williams for the AWF Prestige title. His other XHF client, Betsy Granger must feel like the odd duck as she is in danger of forming a losing streak she'll want to put a stop to immediately. With her best friends in her corner, you'd have to say she has the best shot she can. Standing in her way though are two people whose only common ground is they wouldn't make Cross Recoba's Christmas card list. Chris Card will be wanting to win this match to remind people that why he is an AWF Hall of Famer and not just a dab-hand at scouting the best of the brightest of the AWF roster. For Dakota, she knows that to achieve the goal she has set herself, she needs to get back into the rich vein of form she found before here departure. Flip a coin, pick a hand, either way - this match is impossible to call!
