So Mass Effect Andromeda drops in just under a week and it's the first game I've pre-ordered in a long time. I know a lot of people are all up in arms about pre-ordering being the devil and blah blah blah, but I'm not the most financially secure person so I did so when I had the cash available to make sure I had the damn game, so back off! Ahem. I'm a big fan of the previous three games, spent a lot of time playing them, and replaying them as both renegade and paragon. I've been talking Pav (The Ace is you remember him) into playing it as he's a big fan of Dragon Age but never touched a Mass Effect game before.
I know there's a lot of negative talk out there about the Character Creation and animations and such, but I'm not really one to read reviews and maybe I'm too forgiving because I'm the same with movies and TV shows too (I actually enjoyed Suicide Squad, so sue me) I tend to just make my own mind up and not go with what random youtuber 72 tells me. So I'm looking forward to playing it, and it's actually a game my girlfriend is looking forward to playing (Oh....that's another topic for another day but my life has changed completely since I left XHF way back when.....) she used to be a gamer but hasn't played a game properly in a long time, so I'm hoping it ropes her back in.
Anyone else looking forward to this, anybody even care?

Oh my God I am so hyped. I may just wait to play it until they patch the animations because I REALLY get engrossed in my characters (3 playthroughs of 2 and 3 and 1 of 1. I have 2 more planned so I can get the platinums). I am really sad I don't get to see anyone from my previous files though. Granted 2 of my Shepards are dead ... but Liara and Grunt were young enough and live long enough that I wanted to see them pop up. Steve Blum is the best btw. I loved Grunt in the Citadel DLC.
Anyhow I have it preordered and I will LIKELY be on playing the multiplayer with whoever else has the game on my friends list cuz that shit is always good and would not be affected by the horrible graphical bugs (they really do look pretty bad ...)

I haven't been playing my PS4 for the last week or two (really just been playing D&D via chat on Mondays, it's a thing....don't ask) and messed around on Guardians of the Galaxy, but if you add me: GrifKane, and you see me on, even if I'm playing something else? Shoot me a message or invite, or party invite or something. I'm almost always down to play.

Nothing at all, I mean the fact that we play via playstation party chat. Almost everyone pipes in with questions like "but how do you know if people are lying about their dice rolls" and stuff like that. At the end of the day, the DM just wants to tell his story, much like us as Efedders. If you cheat, hell, you're just cheating yourself, and a good DM can work around it. I've been really enjoying it because I play with Americans and they've gone out of their way to include me in their games.

I would lie on every single dice roll.
"Ok, I want to attack the horrifying centaur-dragon."
Alright Mongo, roll for attack.
"1."
1 What?
"I rolled a 1."
Mongo, do you even know how to play the game?
"I want to attack the statue of the centaur-dragon"
*Sigh* Alright Mongo, roll for attack...
