Endurance and Will

(The Dark Stars are walking through the corridor to where Niko's Corgi, Lord Dominicus, is in his pen waiting for him to visit him. Lord Dominicus is waiting prancing and running around in a circle barking anxiously when The Dark Stars arrive.)

Niko:  "He's grown since the five months we received him."

Kono:  "Imagine for someone who tries to do all these evil things to his opponents and to this planet and still manages to make people cheer him like a hero. Lord Dominicus must not realize he's conflicted and needs to really decide what he really wants to be."

Niko:  "At least we know what we know which side we are on being we're on a collision course with those losers The Untouchables and Kirsty McKinney for threatening our mission to bring glory to Shaakar."

Kono:  "Our young have grown used to Lord Dominicus and vice versa."

Niko:  "The creatures known as pets seem to grow on those who take them in."

(Niko waves his hand and the barrier disappears and Lord Dominicus comes padding out.)

Niko:  "Ready for your exercise."

(The Corgi barks.)

Niko:  "Let's go."

(The Dark Stars start running with Lord Dominicus and the Corgi matches them pace for pace as they run through corridor after corridor not stopping and working up a sweat. They stop when they enter their workout area and Niko rubs Lord Dominicus's ears.)
 
Niko:  "Good job keeping up with us.  You shall make a good tracker one day."

Kono:  "The supplements we've been feeding him has made him grow big and stronger than the average Corgi."

Niko: "Yes and after we fully train him he shall be a great guardian of the toxic waste plant that we utilize for our quarters."

Kono:  "You angry enough to defeat Lord Dominicus."

Niko:  "After losing our NPW Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships and seeing The Syndicate parading round with our championship belts and not defending them.
It's an insult to the honor of both those titles and the whole NPW.  A  least 'The Real' Lord Dominicus defends his championship every time he defends his championship.
At least can respect that."

(The Corgi bends it's head and yelps.)

Niko:  "No not you.  I meant my opponent."

Kono: "He seems to respect you quite a bit."

NIko: "Because I took him to his limit and I plan on taking him to limits beyond even his endurance."

Kono:  "Because we were conditioned and trained that way."

Niko:  "The best part is that there's no time limit and there will be a winner in this rematch. It's just how we like our battles.  I plan on showing why my endurance is superior to human endurance."

Kono:  "Not to mention our will to survive any assault."

Niko:  "Especially will to survive all kinds of assaults."

Kono: "At least he respects you."

Niko: "As do I. Still I'm going to put that aside to meet Lord Dominicus in the ring and this time I plan on defeating him for the NPW Cruiserweight Championship even if it takes all night and into the next day."

Kono:  "Which shall prove you are the better man.  Now what about those infinity stone in his claw hand weapon."

Niko:  "He must be into these the literature called comic books.  The ones from this entity called Marvel mentions these jewels called Infinity Stones and the one acquiring them is this mad titan named Thanos.  They shall never work with on us because of our superior genetic makeup."

Kono: "I know and since he loves to mention our travelling to other time periods. We should invite him to one day travel to a time and continuum that he shall find either appealing or appalling."

Niko: "He will be impressed by our technological superiority.  Still I shall not think of doing that since I'm putting all respect aside and I plan on tearing him apart until I prove I'm the better wrestler and the true NPW Cruiserweight Championship."

(The Corgi barks and Niko rubs his head.)

Niko:  "No not you. I meant my human opponent."

Kono: "The intelligence level of your pet Lord Dominicus has expanded to understanding all expressions and terms."

Niko:  "That's a good thing and he shall be trained to do various tasks.  However, when it comes to my human opponent I shall prove my intelligence is that of a true champion and not one who is on the level of an idiot like The Syndicate."

Kono:  "When the Open Weight Tournament comes I shall rip apart anyone who dares to get in my way and I shall do it for the glory of Shaakar."

NIko:  "I know you will my brother in combat. Then we shall concentrate on making sure The Untouchables don't interfere in their affairs or Jeffrey doesn't interfere either
claim to be taking a break since he'll want a piece of us too.  That's only going to motivate me even further since my rage is going to be magnified as shall my focus on taking the NPW Cruiserweight Championship."

Kono: "Lord Dominicus is already motivated being he's already Double Crown Champion and he wants to keep both championships."

Niko: "Well in a matter of days and hours Lord Dominicus shall be relinquishing that NPW Cruiserweight Championship after I defeat him and end his winning streak of defenses. Then he shall see that a gladiator like myself is more than superior to hold that championship honor.  Then there shall be no doubt that I am both the better athlete and the better champion to represent the  NPW."

Kono:  "As the earthlings say on this world 'Beware of the Ides of March."

Niko:  "He shall know the meaning of that expression when I capture his championship and if he wants a rematch I shall grant it as is my nature.  Right now I'm goingtostart my final preparations."

(Niko activates the virtual ring as Kono activates the hologram to become Lord Dominicus as the scene slowly fades to black.)
