How do you game?
I technically have my Gameboy Color and DS here in Korea but I haven't used them in years.
When I do game I just do it on PC (on a not-made-for-gaming 6-year-old computer). But I've only got three games: EWR- I'm slowly cutting pictures from Ranger Wiki to make a Kaiju-based fed (with power rangers and other heroes too. Pokemon Island- A great fan games with no gyms. The idea is to catch all the mon (up through Black/White) and beat a level 16 "tournament" (it's really just different levels of 4 opponents in a row like the elite 4). No Mercy- For when I really need a hit, lol. The controls are crap because switching a N64 controller to a small keyboard isn't very good. But I like making CAWs of modern wrestlers and making PPVs and stuff
I used to have a rockin' modded Age of Empires 2. It didn't have any of the campaigns but could be windowed. It was designed for I think Chinese or Russian plays to online play and stream easier. But I delete stuff from time to time so I can focus better and it got the axe- I'm not even sure how I found it the first time so I'll probably not get it back, lol.
What about you?

Games are my only thing at this point (eating, exercise etc don't count) so the list is a bit excessive. Wii U, 3DS, DS, PS3, PC, PSP, Mini-NES or whatever it's called, SNES, broken N64, GC, Wii, PS2, Dreamcast and Android if that counts. GBA, PS1 and GB games also via the DS, PS2 and Super GameBoy(!) respectively.
It's far too much gaming unless you take into consideration most people also watch TV which is just as dumb.

My goodness Ish. You should go into streaming as a job with that much variety!
Also, what happened to your N64?
Also, aside from android; all of those systems would count as being retro, lol.
Super GameBoy! I looked for years in my area as a kid to find one of those. I called every gaming store and many of them had never even heard of it. Is it as good as I imagined?

I've got a DS I use for Layton and pokemon and ace attorney. Oh and Chrono Trigger. It also lets me play GBA games of which I still have a few (pokemon, all 3 Donkey Kong COuntry games [best games ever], ad SUper Mario World).
I have my PS3 which I have a backlog to play on and my main system is PS4 which has been seeing lots of use (Rock Band 4, Gone Home, and Mass Effect Andromeda)

I most recently got a PS4, but only have a few games. I need more time to play! But that's been fun. It's actually the first non-Nintendo system that I bought. I have a PS1 and PS2, but they were hand me downs, never owned Xbox anything. So I own all the Nintendo console systems except for the original NES, and they all still work (sorry Ish). I have a DS, but I haven't used it in years. I think the N64 is still my favorite system.

Congrats on out-Nintendoing me, but I do not miss my N64. I too never have never had Microsoft systems but if I did my N64 paraphernalia would be straight on ebay because Rare Replay would cover nearly all of the Virtual Console gaps and I wouldn't have to deal with impotent analogue sticks. I'm not really a fan of any of the gen five consoles to be honest, but I will concede they are cool. Can see my N64 box from here - Mario and Bowser are standing next to Fulgore from Killer Instinct and a stormtrooper. The DS has an immense library but Ace Attorney and Chrono Trigger sounds like an ideal sample. If you liked the old Donkey Kong Countries I would recommend the newer ones if you get the opportunity. Not a step down at all. Streaming may be difficult with ADSL and CRT technology. The story with my N64 is that when I turn it on it doesn't turn on I liked the Super Gameboy, though it's odd to look back and think that I grinded through Pokemon Blue on a tv screen. Even though I never had many GB games (five plus a copy of Super Mario Land found at the side of a road that worked after the mud was washed off) and its features were only really used by one of them that one was Donkey Kong which remains a seriously classy game so no regrets.

I like how everyone at least has a DS. I think that's a testament to how good of a design it was. I got mine off Bongo for like....50 bucks, maybe less; he needed money and I was a terrible friend/person. But he was clever, he wouldn't give me any of his games to spite me- which I was ok with because I only wanted Pokemon anyway, lol.
I had always been an Nintendo kid (just because NES and SNES were closely available from neighbors looking to sell and Pokemon was on the Game Boy) and man, the N64 was such a paradigm change. Though, I ended up falling in love with FF7 and rather than buy a new system I just got it for PC.
Ish, one of the streamers I watched beat all the NES games on-air (over the course of 3 years) and toward the end of that he was able to get a good splitter so that he could play the games (which he now had most of) on his actual Nintendo and CR TV (because the zapper doesn't work well on digital) then the feed would also go to the computer (and stream). I don't know how ADSL would mess it up though, isn't that advanced DSL?

I have just about everything. My classic systems are all gone, foolish sold them and the parents got rid of them years ago. It's a shame because you know much much some games are going for now? Ugh... Its getting to be ridiculous because I know some of those games I had. So I have to sit back with a smile on my face. Foolish move on my part, allowing them to give that stuff away for practically nothing way back when.
So I have...
Ps3 slim Dead ps3 phatty Ps4 slim Xbox 360 Xbox one Nintendo wiiner Nintendo ds Nintendo switch Nintendo 3ds
Just yesterday I bought a retropie so I can do some classic gaming.

Update: 360 added to my collection.
Spent a bit of time researching which of the Halo trilogy to get before I realised they were all like 50p.

I own a PS4, PS2, megadrive/genisis, 360, and a 2DS (because the 3DS gave me a headache)
In the past I've had a PS1, N64, Dreamcast, XBox, Game Boy, GBA and a DS. A fair range!
In terms of play, I go through phases. The PS2 gets love when I wanna play some classic PS1 games. Otherwise I don't play too much, though got into Pokemon again recently! It may change soon though, if my house move goes to plan I'll have a semi games room available...it will be glorious!

Well just to answer (since I had somehow missed this topic earlier) the original thread premise too myself though, I used to be MUCH more into gaming about 10 years ago though (for whatever reason I just sorta grew out of it and mostly quit altogether in favor of further increasing my constant sports-watching/fandom itself) and to begin with I did gradually collect nearly all the older major systems gradually at one point, the Sega Saturn/PS1/N64/Dreamcast/Gamecube/PS2/PS3, in that order I'm pretty sure, I actually never owned any X-Box consoles though, guess I was just more of a Sony/Nintendo lover all along, lol. The one system I do still have hooked up to the TV in my bedroom these days (although I think the N64 along with my beloved WWF No Mercy/WrestleMania 2000 games themselves are both still stored in a closet container somewhere nearby) is the PS3 though, I just LOVED and still do the fact that that system has the backward compatibility and can play all PS2/1 games which is why I've never even bothered to upgrade from it yet, lol, since I strictly have a fairly big pile of virtually every WWE/various Car or Racing genre type Sony game ever produced during the first decade+ of the 2000's, so I do like to go back every now and then when I'm bored and randomly just start playing any of those since I'm so fond of them specifically due to the very worthwhile nostalgia and all.
And, I suppose now that NASCAR itself has finally moved on too after releasing endless PS1-3 titles and is soon to release their 2nd consecutive yearly game for the PS4 later this fall, I'll finally have to relent and buy a PS4 in order to get with the times again just for that reason alone, so that I can purpose both those games too simultaneously and restore my overall NASCAR collection (which are still the ones I'm truly passionate about playing heavily) to 100% current/complete status, since I do own every prior Sony/Nintendo NASCAR game ever released since the late 90's when they originally got into the video game business. I just hope that NASCAR's latest game publisher (who is still a huge work in progress gameplay-wise apparently, but has real long-term potential nonetheless) can ever truly recapture the same incredibly fun/realistic game controls/atmospheres/feelings of both Papyrus/EA Sports who both put out some truly epic ones in the early to mid 2000's, I used to spend countless hours racing people online for some of EA's classic titles when NASCAR's overall popularity/online gamer count much like WWE's was literally through the roof and attracting fans from all over the US about a decade ago due to cars in general being such a fad, and I loved every second of it as someone who's been a diehard NASCAR fan all along and who was just looking for some consistently good competition on there.

Man, didn't even know Nascar games existed before this thread. My goodness Ish, where are you keeping all these systems/games? And what kind of job do you have that produces the cash? I'm increasingly concerned that the games may look like they're on display. They're all on shelves when ideally they should be tucked away in cabinets somewhere. HD consoles around the monitor I use for my PC and SD ones around a CRT. It's less of a space issue and more of a dust / cables one. So many plugs! I'm not a high earner but the spend isn't anything crazy as long as you're not impulsive about when you get things. My 360 for example was £150 total for the console, controller and thirty one games. My gaming spend before that this year was about £90 so about £20-£25 a month which is money you wouldn't blink at if it was spent on cinema / coffees etc. That said, a few years back when I broke a spell of unemployment I did go temporarily nuts and I've been living off the backlog ever since.

Ah, sounds like you've got a good source or you're buying things after the price drops then. A 360, controller and 30 games for like $200 is a great grab! So...it sounds to me like you have lots of time. Time to selflessly give to your favorite fake wrestling company
