Sinclair burst into the dusty room, tablet in hand as she jerked to a halt. Donzig sat there behind the desk in the chair, mask over his face as he watched the team of interns writing notes and doing calculations on the chalkboard. His fingers tapped angrily, and he hissed softly if any of the interns glanced in his direction. That sending them all into a panic before he would resume watching, and then he spun the chair to gaze at her as she slowly approached. She held out the tablet, and glanced at the chalkboard before flicking her hair back. 'Freakke had some things to say, I thought I'd rush over and show you.'
Donzig grunted, and took the tablet to watch it. Sinclair looked at the interns, watching them before she turned back to Donzig.
'Why are you wearing the mask?'
Donzig glanced up, shrugging before he replied. 'I find it makes them focus better.'
Sinclair considered this, nodding slowly with an arched brow. Donzig sat down the table, shaking his head before he leaned back in the chair. He steepled his fingers before him, tapping them against the chin of the mask. 'I get the feeling I am the only sane person in this match.'
Everyone in the room stopped, Sinclair's eyes widened as she stared at the thinking Donzig. The interns stood at the chalkboard staring at the back of the chair, clearly baffled before he spun the chair around to glare at them. They flinched, and started back to work with a storm of chatter as he stared at them for a long moment. Then he hissed, turning the chair back to Sinclair. 'Thank you for this information, I am sure it will be of great help in our calculations.'
Sinclair nodded, and Donzig held up the tablet as he turned the chair again. His fingers flicking before he pointed at a small blonde intern in glasses, who swallowed nervously as he held out the tablet. 'You, you're the biology one, yes? Get on figuring out how an alien gestated in the non-biological stuffed bear! There maybe something there we can use, or a horrible effect of the paradox.'
Sinclair sighed, shaking her head as she walked from the room.
