GIMMICK SUMMARY
What’s your gimmick? Jon Smith was the original White Light, as he dawned the persona after a very productive career in the US. Jon finished his career in the land of the rising sun with SuperstarPRO in 2008. His son, Marcus has enjoyed relative success in the world of professional wrestling in Canada, The UK, Japan and The United States. Marcus has set out to be a well travelled competitor with lofty goals of championship success wherever he goes. in 2020, Marcus had a brief run as the North American Cruiserweight Champion, before falling to Lord Dominicus in September of last year. At which point, Marcus left Canada to compete with NPW's sister promotion - BRAVE. Marcus brought back the White Light character to pay homage to his dad's time in Japan, and won the BRAVE Jr. Tag Team Championships alongside of The Black Jaguarr as The Speed Dragons - or SokuDoryu's. The Speed Dragons had a successful six month reign before eventually losing the titles to The Shining Stars in March of 2021.

White Light II seems poised to carve out his niche as a singles competitor with J-ROK, and is hoping that his years of seasoning around the world will serve him well against some of the best competiton in Japan.

White Light longs to be as successful as his father was. So far, he has shown tremendous promise - but some of the major championships in professional wrestling have alluded him thus far. However, over the past two and a half years, WLII emerged from the 'young boy' status to a regular challenger to some of the world's more prestigious championship.

His look when he’s unmasked would be Malenko. Dark features, clean cut. His work rate would be a Dean/Tully hybrid. Mat work, technical wrestling and some submissions. Both guys are in and around the same size. With the mask - Mr Wrestling II. (White Mask)
