Sky Blue Eyes!
The color of her eyes, sky blue.
Like the unending star ocean, her eyes had a tremendous impact on his heart. The first moment he saw those eyes, those sky blue eyes, he knew he was in love. She was wonderful. Pretty, Smart, Courageous, you name an attribute, she had it.
It was love. That wonderful, amazing, beyond description, feeling that comes so slow and vanishes so fast, way too fast for such a wonderful sentiment. Love is an amazing emotion, something that gives life meaning.
He had searched for that love all his young life.
And the moment he found it…
…He left her behind!!!
Eron Hunter left the love of his life behind.
For a greater significance.
He wanted that girl near him, but even if she was near him, she would have to be near a man, a boy, who didn´t know who he was! Eron Hunter was the son of a rich Sicilian family, a well-known family, with a famous surname. Anyone who belonged to this family had his or her future well written for them.
But that was a future Eron didn´t want for himself.
He wanted to be a self-made man, a man who had built his future on his own.
And now?
Now that he had managed to reach for the stars, and grab them?
Would she…
..Would she be able to forgive him for his escape and join him in his adventure as a great fighter?
Maybe yes, if she was still free like the wind, but he was sure no one would leave such a wonderful shining star alone, for long. He was sure that girl had found the love she had been looking for. She was surely a mother now or at least had built a future for herself.
He, Eron Hunter, didn´t want to open an old wound. And thus he didn´t search for her. He did not want to hurt her again, now that she had finally found her place and peace to hang to. What he could do, was respect his love for the fight, and value the things he had reached.
He left her, to grow up as a man and become a fighter. Now that he finally was a fighter, all he could do for his lost love was respect the love he had left her for. Eron Hunter had to respect wrestling, the squared circle, the fans, and the belts he fought for.
Thus, how do you think he reacted to the speeches of Keith Williams? The speeches in which he told he would disrespect the belt he was fighting for? Eron Hunter was offended, to say the least. How could he not be? He had done such tremendous sacrifices to be where he was now, and look where his opponent thought he would place that belt in? Keith Williams compared that belt to a big pile of shit.
And by doing so, he compared Eron Hunter´s love to shit.
The young Italian fighter was offended, to say the least. If he would´ve been anything but a tranquil spirit, he would have shouted the most disgraceful words ever heard by a human ear. But he was not a rage machine, he was Eron Hunter. The young man knew for a fact that Keith Williams was a poor sob, who could not handle the truth he saw reflected in a mirror and thus acted the way he did.
But that was all Eron could do.
As far as justifying Keith Willams, that was all he could manage to do. He was an empathic human being. Mother Nature had gifted him with the ability to see the world through any man´s eyes. But even that had its limits.
Keith Williams said he would disgrace the championship belt, would he manage to win it! That meant he would disgrace Eron Hunter´s love for the fight, and the sacrifices he had done, to achieve what he had achieved thus far.
Some people have no regard for others if their interests are affected in the process, and Keith Williams was one of them. His words had offended Eron. His attitude had wounded the young Italians pride and spirit.
Eron Hunter had left loved ones and family behind, to become what he was now. He was a wrestler and fought to be the best. The belts won, the championships gained, were a sign of greatness and a mark of success that told Eron that he was a step closer to achieving what he left love behind, for.
People like Keith Williams had no respect for the fighters like Eron Hunter.
Eron understood that much. He also understood that turning the other cheek, as he did with Jamester, was not in the day's order. Eron Hunter had learned to fight eye for an eye if the situation required it. Lex Talonis, if need be.
And it did!
Sky Blue Eyes…
…Who knew, she might be watching Eron fight!
And he was sure she would not be pleased to see her lost love lose to some cynical moron from somewhere land. He would not allow people like Williams to tread on his dreams, because that’s what Keith Williams threatened to do.
Fighting for his dreams was what Eron Hunter had done since the beginning of this saga. And it would not end now. No! This was merely the beginning of the story. It was his story! He was the architect of this tale.
The Tale of a Vision.
Eron Hunter´s vision.
And he would do anything in his might to achieve his dream, his vision.
Keith Williams and Company would be the spectators of a great fight.
“Sky Blue Eyes.
Wherever you might be now, just look at what I have become.”
