The Past isn't always Present

(The Interviewer is waiting for Commandrix to appear being it's almost time to end the program and the Producer sighs but continues to be patient urging the Interviewer.)

Interviewer:  "Where is she?"

Producer:  "She should be here shortly since she's always on time."

Interviewer:  "Well if she's not on time I'll leave her alone in this studio."

Producer:  "Let's wait a couple more minutes."

Interviewer:  "The taping of the show is going to end in a few minutes."

(A flash of light blinds both of them and Commandrix appears in front of them dressed in tight combat wear and holding both  ends of a towel around her shoulders.)

Commandrix:  "I apologize for my rare bit of tardiness, but I was working out for my match with Sinclair Godfrey."

Interviewer:  "We might as well get this over with."

(Commandrix eyes the Interviewer.)

Commandrix:  "You seem to have an issue with me."

Interviewer: "You were late for this taping."

Commandrix:  "I explained why and I apologized and that's more than acceptable.  However, since you feel you want to end this taping on time and within the parameters of the original interview with me......"

(Commandrix presses a button on her armband and the lights go of and after what is a bit interminable moments.  The lights go back on and Commandrix and The Interviewer are seated and The Interview looks both stunned and shocked.)

Commandrix:  "Are you satisfied now that there is exactly five minutes remaining before the taping ends."

Interviewer:  "I guess it's satisfactory."

Producer:  "Let's roll the cameras."

Cue Man:  "Three.....Two.....One.....You're on."

Interviewer:  "Welcome back to the show and I'm joined by one half of The Dark Novas Commandrix.  Welcome and I'm glad you could join us for this interviewer."

Commandrix:  "Thank you and I'm glad to be here."

Interviewer:  "Sinclair Godfrey issued a challenge to you and you accepted.  Why did you accept her challenge."

Commandrix:  "Since she was the one who challenged me and was running her mouth as if she was better than anyone else.  I decided to meet her in the ring and show who is the better wrestler in the ring.  Let's see how good she really is."

Interviewer:  "You know Sinclair is both trained by Donzig and is a former women's champion.  She even showed parts of her past before and after she became champion after beating Chelsea."

Commandrix:  "The key word is past and that's only the word to describe that little trip is and that is the past.  What she should have done was remove the color and make it black and white like.....How would you call it.....old movie noir.  Why not add these things called a blacked out screen and captions along
with the music  and it would fit in like a silent movie as you would refer to it over a hundred years ago."

Interviewer:  "You know she's pure brutality in the ring since Donzig trained her.  The rumor after the match with Chelsea was that Chelsea was never the same afterwards."

Commandrix:  "You think that I'm falling for these things called rumors.  I don't believe in these rumors nor do I believe in the past events.  I believe in one thing and that's the present and the present is me and Sinclair are going to be wrestling in the ring.  We're going to see who is going to be going on to wrestle the so-called SWAT Amazons Women's Champion Isabel Rios.  I'm going to be the one going on face her for the championship."

Interviewer:  "Like I mentioned she's brutal with her opponents."

Commandrix:  "Like I mentioned and I'll mention that again.  Do you think I'm going to be intimidated by Sinclair Godfrey because Donzig trained her.  I don't intimidate and I don't flee the ring all because Sinclair Godfrey is in the ring.  That's not Commandrix and I'm not one to back down from anyone in any match."

Interviewer:  "She vows to show no mercy and intends to put you out of wrestling forever like Chelsea and her lackeys tried doing to her before she met Donzig."

Commandrix: "I have heard that many times but I'm still here and unlike Chelsea I'm not some overly confident and cocky champion surrounded by suck ups as you earthlings call them.  I'm quite disciplined and I'm a warrior.  I'm a fighter and I'm one who holds her own in one on one combat.  As you saw when I arrived I was working out quite hard and I was training quite seriously."

Interviewer:  "You seem to be in good shape."

Commandrix:  "I always stay in the sharpest condition unlike Isabel Rios and I always have a strict training regimen and I push myself until I feel I'm done working out."

Interviewer:  "She refers to you as an alien from another world."

Commandrix:  "What do you think."

Interviewer: "You seem to be what you say you are Commandrix."

Commandrix:  "Yes I am and I shall prove that I am who I say I am and beat that poor little rich girl who keeps living her past all over again.  She's going to see the present as it really is and it's not what she believes it is."

Interviewer:  "Well thank you for being here and I wish you the best against Sinclair Godfrey."

Commandrix: "It was my honor and I plan on teaching her a lesson about the present and the past."

Interviwer:  "It's been a pleasure...."

(The Interviewer looks into the camera.)

Interviewer:  "Well that's our show for today but we'll be back  next week for another edition of Up Close with NPW.   Until next time we'll see you at ringside."

(They shake hands and Commandrix presses a button on her armband and disappears as the scene slowly fades to black.)
