J-ROK Jam Session Ep.10 "Bad End Dream"

MUSHI: "(Thank you all for tuning into J-ROK this month, and thanks for Pay Money To My Pain for our theme, Ressurection tonight. We have some very special matches on the show for you along with some very big announcements as well.)"

Psycho KGB: "(We're going to find out who's in the King of Hokkaido Tournament as well as the brackets for it too! Not only that, but there's also some debuts tonight as well as some returns. Samantha Tolson makes her return to J-ROK taking on Esmerelda Kanyon in a match for her 5BW World Championship. A belt she's got over 10 defenses for already.)"

MUSHI: "(We'll also see the debut of Eavan Maloney as she takes on the up and comer, Haley Grimes. Grimes has been building up a lot of momentum for herself lately, but we'll see how she fares with a vet like Maloney later tonight.)"

Psycho KGB: "(We also have the wish of SERO. He wished for his team mates to get a trios title match, which will happen later on tonight. That's sure to be a hell of a match too. Speaking of SERO, he's taking on Super Sake Presents: Kris Quake for the New Wave Championship!)"

MUSHI: "(There's also going to be EVE taking on The Dominion, in what should be a break out match for them. And in our main event, there's Wolf Fang Ayame, taking on Nausicaa Suzuki in a rematch from last October for the IJWF World Championship! This and so much more is coming up here tonight!)"

Match One: 5BW World Heavyweight Championship Match; Standard J-ROK Rules; 60 Minute Time Limit
Esmerelda Kanyon Vs Samantha Tolson (C.)

Psycho KGB: "(We've seen Tolson make guest appearances for years now, and every time she's held gold of some sort. If that doesn't tell you just how good of a wrestler she is, i don't know what could!)"

MUSHI: "(Most of those appearances have been with this here belt too. But you can't count out Kanyon, she's dangerous and full of tricks. Not to mention her bodyguards who're always ready and willing to help her out.)"

The match would feature a lot of holds and brawling early on. Tons of distractions from Kanyon's bodyguards as well. she'd even get a two count at one point in the match, but wouldn't get that lucky much more later on. at one point it was Esmerelda firmly in control, just a ball of fire even hitting a puerto rican destroyer on Tolson!

she'd kick out at one of course like any other indy wrestler who's worth their weight in salt. Sam would make a comeback in the second stage of the match after reversing a superplex into a crossbody like splash. after that move the tides would change in her favor. She'd hit the ode to japan since well, that's where we're at. the fans would cheer loudly as she'd soon hit her finisher, The victory drop omega to finish the match.

Fumio Daemura: "(Your winner of the match and STILL 5BW World Champion... Samantha Tolson!)"

J-ROK owner, Kira Izumi can be seen on the screen. Behind him sits the King of Hokkaido Tournament trophy. On his desk is a few papers, in which he places neatly on the surface. He gives a warm smile before starting.

Kira Izumi: "(Good evenin' everyone. I hope ya'll've enjoyed the show so far. As y'all can see behind me, it's around that time of year again for the King of Hokkaido Tournament. Formerly knows as the Mach 20 in SSS. Last year the winner was Brad Swann. This year though? who knows who'll win it! I'm here to announce this years participants and the brackets, but before i do that, i'd like announce when this years tournament will start.)"

He picks up a piece of paper that says "July 8th - July 26th" in both Japanese and English.

Kira Izumi: "(As you can see, we'll be starting the tournament this year on July 8th. The A and B block matches will take place every day until the final days, July 24th being for Block A and July 25th being for Block B. The finals of the tournament itself will take place in the main event of Ride On Shooting Star on July the 26th. Like years past, this is a round robin tournament, the only round robin tournament in the entire XHF Network i might add, and as such, you'll see everyone in each bracket fight one another. So one loss or one win towards the end can make or break you going into the finals.)"

He puts down the piece of paper and holds up another one with blank names and places for pictures.

Kira Izumi: "(Now onto the participants of this years King of Hokkaido Tournament! First we'll announce all of the participants from J-ROK. They are as follows: Fukushima Zombie, Dylan Black, Haley Grimes, Brendan Harding, Deco, Anna Daniels, Kris Quake, BBW, Wolf Fang Ayame, Kira Izumi, Hannah Rockford, Bodhi, and Randy Angel.)"

He places the names in order as he said them and peels off tape to reveal pictures of the participants next to their names.

Kira Izumi: "(This year we have seven guests representing numerous promotions from all over the world. First representing LAW, we have Dove Dynamite. Representing Wrestle World we have the current, as of this recording, WW Shogun Champion, Emmanuelle. We have free agent and veteran J.C. van Crushing. Representing NLW, we have El Rey. Representing SWAT, we have Keith Williams. Co-representing NPW and J-ROK we have White Light II. And finally we have our mystery participant... Coming back again ladies and gentlemen, representing CW and FWA, he is las years King of Hokkaido Tournament winner... he is Brad Swann!)"

He does the same for them, as we hear fans chant and cheer for all of the names listed.

Kira Izumi: "(Now for the brackets. In Block A we have as follows: Dylan Black, Deco, Dove Dynamite, Anna Daniels, Keith Williams, J.C. van Crushing, Wolf Fang Ayame, Kira Izumi, Randy Angel, and El Rey.)"

Kira lifts up another piece of paper that shows those in Block A. The camera focuses on it for a few seconds before they move on.

Kira Izumi: "(In Block B we have as follows: White Light II, Emmanuelle, Brad Swann, BBW, Kris Quake, Fukushima Zombie, Haley Grimes, Hannah Rockford, Bodhi, and Brendan Harding. Thank you all for yer time, we'll catch you July 8th when the greatest and most physically demanding singles tournament in the world begins!)"

With those words "Tsuki to Hanataba" plays its way into the arena. Shortly afterwards Nausicaä, holding a stuffed cat she calls Charles - who happens to have a rather feminine crown sitting on top of his head - in her hands, appears upon the stage with the IJWF Championship around her waist. Rin Kubo and Shizuku Yamamoto appear to the leader’s left and right respectively, both of which having a Super Duos Championship around their waist, as Suzuki parts her legs while moving both of Charles' upper paws out for the two brunettes fist bump. Hayley Grimes crawls out from between Nausicaä’s legs and gets up to her own feet - proudly holding J-ROK’s 2020 Feud, Tag Team and Stable of the Year awards while doing so - before all of them make their way to ringside. The girls circle around the ring and collect a single microphone from Fumio Daemura before entering the ring with Hayley handing the Super Saiyan Rosé said microphone.

Nausicaä Suzuki: “(A lot has happened since the last time I’ve touched one of these…)”

The index finger of her left hand points at the microphone in her right hand.

Nausicaä Suzuki: “(We not only won OUR war against J-ROK and took OUR Super Duos Championships back but also defeated the undefeated in under a minute while doing so. And that isn’t the only thing that has happened…)”

The crowned lady begins opening her left hand up in a way indicating that she is counting.

Nausicaä Suzuki: “(We’ve gotten more nominations for end of year awards than anyone else, let alone winning the joint most of them. Rin and her girlfriend, Maple, got themselves a house. We’ve managed to raise a great amount for the SKY Force Fund. I’ve gotten engaged. We’ve successfully defended the Super Duos Championships the most in the shortest amount of time possible. Thus proving that, without a shadow of a doubt, SKY Force is not only the best team in Japan but also the greatest stable in all of J-ROK-)”

Suzuki points the microphone off to her right and, with arms linked together, Shizuku and Hayley steps forward and the short brunette leans over toward the microphone.

Shizuku Yamamoto: “(Not those at PURE, some Pack or Death Feebling-)”

Rin Kubo: “(Or any pathetic group stupid enough to have Brendan Harding in it!)”

The sudden shout from the powerhouse who happens to be holding Charles now, which didn’t need any help from the microphone to be heard clearly, caused Shizuku to chuckle before leaning in to kiss Miss Grimes on the cheek while letting her get closer to the device.

Hayley Grimes: “(US!)”

The blonde squealed out excitedly with an equally delightful bounce, both almost knocking her partner off balance and dropping the awards in her enthusiasm, which caused the pink haired leader to giggle for a moment before returning her attention to the matter at hand.

Nausicaä Suzuki: “(And not only am I IJWF’s Queen of the World but also the current IJWF Champion from a group of matches, against the hardest opponents I have ever faced, that could possibly earn me the right to be called ‘The Cinderella of Professional Wrestling’.)”

Quickly the twenty one year old shook her head at such a potential nickname before continuing.

Nausicaä Suzuki: “(But this isn’t about me…this is about us at SKY Force. For none of this could happen if none of us had each other’s back. And while a member of Death Startling would quickly run away in an attempt to hide their own feebleness, we are all still here…stronger than anyone else here. What makes SKY Force better than everyone else? One word…

Family.)”

Behind the pink haired competitor Shizuku is carefully taking the awards off Hayley, possibly helping the latter geet ready for her upcoming match.

Nausicaä Suzuki: “(We are each other’s family. Not by blood but by choice. And this family shares everything…every high…every low…every success…every failure…and every opportunity. Just like this opportunity to give all of you who’ve supported us a treat.)”

While saying her words Nausicaä reaches her free hand back to unfasten the IJWF Championship from her waist and hold it up.

Nausicaä Suzuki: “(For we share everything…including this. So not only am I going to defend this belt tonight against Wolf Fang Ayame-)”

Suzuki places the belt down on Grimes shoulder and accepts Charles back from Rin, so the Rōnin could take all three awards from Shizuku and carry them more comfortably, before smiling at the surprised blonde.

Nausicaä Suzuki: “(-but Hayley is also going to successfully defend it here and now against Eavan Maloney-)”

The Super Saiyan Rosé looks toward the hardcam with a defiant look on her face.

Nausicaä Suzuki: “(-as we at SKY Force, discounting Charles since he is a male, are proclaiming ourselves as the co-holders of the IJWF Championship!)”

The pink haired leader declares with a smirk on her face before both her and Rin exits the ring to hand the microphone back to the ring announcer. The shortest member meanwhile stays behind to hold Hayley’s hands, voice out something along the lines of “I know you’ve got this,” and hug her partner before letting go of her and walking around to get out the ring…though Grimes did jump at a rather vocal clapping sound for some reason.

Match Two: Standard J-ROK Rules; 30 Minute Time Limit
Haley Grimes Vs. Eavan Maloney

MUSHI: “(Our next match sees Haley Grimes take on the debuting Eavan Maloney. And with the words from Nausicaa Suzuki, this is now for the IJWF World Championship as well! This belt will be contested under IJWF rules now, so the champ can keep the belt under count outs or draws.)”

Psycho KGB: “(You gotta respect the hustle from Haley here. She’s taking chances and showing everyone just what she’s made of. She’s really been improving a lot since last year too.)”

The bell rings for the match and we’re already to a hot and heated start. Grimes saves the formalities and respect she had shown outside of the ring and gets right down to business. Hitting forearms and dropkicks till Maloney gets trapped in a corner. While she’s stuck there the sky force member hits her opponent with a few well placed hip attacks she doesn’t waste time and goes for a stink face as Eavan slumps down to a seat position. She dodges it though, and rolls up Haley into a school girl.

A kick out would be the end result. She’d keep up the offensive though, with low kicks and elbows. She whips her into the ropes and goes for a shoulder tackle. It gets reversed though and instead Haley hits a Crash BootyCoot! That deadly flying hip attack that’s ended many of matches. She covers, looking for a quick win tonight.

Two!!

Three!!

Psycho KGB: “(Hold on folks that’s not a three! Eavan manages to get a foot on the ropes to break up the pin!)”

The crowd is shocked as the action continues on. Haley continues to use whatever big moves she can think of to help her win. Even unloading a superkick party. Eavan would dodge a big boot soon after though, and hit her with one of her own. Coming back with a sorsh shot, her take on the superkick.

Both ladies downed by this point. The crowd chants their names. Targeting the neck of Haley throughout most of the match after the middle portion, Maloney goes for her submission finisher, Krigare Lock 2.0, a devastating dragon slayer submission. Haley starts to scream and squirm in pain. She manages to get to a foot though, and runs towards the turnbuckle, hitting a shirauni to get out of it. By this time it’s now roughly 20 minutes or so. Both women are tired and more than ready to just end things here.

They both try to go for their respective finishers every so often now, but the rest of the match would be heavy in counters and pin holds. Tons of back and forth, showing how good Eavan is and how far Haley has come since her debut last year.

25 minutes by this point. With each minute causing an increasing anxiety and panic from both competitors. They know the time limit is looming up on them like an unmentioned third opponent. Desperately they try to finish each other off, but in this mass hysteria and adrenaline induced race to the finish, they start to get sloppy and make slight mistakes here and there. The hits harder, the submissions tighter as each minute passes by.

We’re in the final minute now, Maloney abandoning trying to win with a submission, instead trying to land a stiff enough kick or her patented double knee facebuster fast enough to pin Grimes. Meanwhile Haley is doing all she can hitting boots and hip attack variations trying to keep Eavan down. But she won’t stay down. She just can’t stay down no matter how many times she hits her. The frustration grows to it’s crescendo once Haley hits a top rope Crash BootyCoot, and pinning Maloney in the final seconds of the match.

DING DING DING

MUSHI: “(That was way to close to call folks. But we’re getting word now… That the bell rang right before the referee counted three! This match is… it’s…)”

Fumio Daemura: “(This match has ended in a time limit draw.)”

Both women are reasonably upset at the announcement, but despite the frustrations they have with themselves, they gain a newfound respect for one another, celebrating and shaking hands in the ring.

Match Three: J-ROK Trios Championship Match; Standard Trios Rules; 60 Minute Time Limit
Kado (REIKON, OMI, & SORA) Vs. PURE (Deco & The Brother's Swann) (C.)

Fumio Daemura: "(The following match is for the J-ROK Trios Championships and is set for one fall at a sixty minute time limit! Introducing first, to my left, in the blue corner, they are REIKON, OMI and SORA, they are KADO! And their opponents, the REIGNING DEFENDING J-ROK Trios Champions... They are Deco, Zakk and Lucas, The Brothers Swann... they are PURE!)"

Psycho KGB: "(SERO used his wish from the Magical Mystery tournament to make this match happen for his team mates tonight.)"

the match would be a clusterfuck like most trios matches tend to become. tons of tagging in and out, lots of double and triple team combos too. Early on, the champs would keep control. They'd do everything right, keeping them to one side of the ring and everything. Deco would even hit her TAG and BAG shining wizard on OMI for a 2 count.

towards the middle of the match the tides would change though, we'd see KADO take out the partners of Lucas. Eliminating any escape he might of had. they'd keep him to their side of the ring, wearing him down little by little. eventually OMI hitting him with the ame no tataku. a brutal high speed roundhouse kick. It'd get a two though as no matter what they did Lucas would get back up. The fans would cheer and chant his name. Trying to get him fired up. Kado would keep his partners at bay, with SORA hitting him with a Ketsuki Toll, a bridging dragon suplex to get the three for her team.

Fumio Daemura: "(Your winners of this match and NEW J-ROK Trios Champions... KADO!)"

Match Four: J-ROK New Wave Championship Match; Standard J-ROK Rules; 60 Minute Time Limit
Kris Quake Vs. SERO (C.)

MUSHI: "(Our next match is another defense for SERO and his New Wave Championship. This time he's taking on one half of the popular team, Off The Wagon.)"

Psycho KGB: "(That's Super Sake Presents: Off The Wagon! besides that, we'll see if Kris can take that tag team momentum and use it here in a singles match.)"

MUSHI: "(Whatever, well... if MCCW is anything to go off of, it's not gonna look too good for Quake.)"

Fumio Daemura: "(This match is for the J-ROK New Wave Championship and is set for one fall at a sixty minute time limit! Introducing in the blue corner, Super Sake Presents: Kris Quake! and his opponent... he is the REIGNING DEFENDING J-ROK New Wave Champion... he is SERO!)"

the match would start out slow, with SERO working on the arms of Quake, and Quake working on weakening his legs and softening the sting of his nasty kicks. a lot of holds and submission attempts throughout this early stage of the match as well. we'd even see SERO try to go for a few kawada styled kicks to the arms of Kris and just brutalize his arms. Quake would trip him up and do damage with a leg lock.

towards the middle of the match, it'd spill to the outside, Quake would dodge an axe kick and SERO would hit the barricade. SERO would get revenge though, trapping in the arm of Quake and powerslamming him onto the concrete outside. they'd get back into the ring, and Quake would catch him with a Drought running yakuza kick.

a pin attempt and a two count. the damage to both men is visible by this point. Both really hurting now. we'd see them face off in a chopping and striking contest, neither man wanting to fall down. Quake would eventually be kicked into the ropes and bounce back with a standing go to jail shining wizard. He'd drag SERO to the middle of the ring and lock in an inverted figure four leg lock, putting on the pressure. SERO would be in pain, but would roll it around. he'd chop and punch quake some before getting out. he'd miss a kick and eat one to the gut, Quake would go for the Park Place pedigree, but SERO would break free, spinning out and hitting a ripcord lariat onto quake. keeping hold of his wrists, he'd stomp on the chest and head of Quake before grabbing his leg and stomping it onto the ground repeatedly, forcing quake to submit.

Fumio Daemura: "(Your winner of the match and still champion... SERO!)"

We cut to Kira Izumi’s office in the J-ROK HQ. Some men in black suits come in after knocking. It’s the same agents months back that were doing an investigation on the former SSS owner, Emi Sakata.

Kira Izumi: “Did you find anything on the investigation?”

Agent Smith: “Yes we did actually. It took some time, but we found out a lot of things about Ms. Sakata and SSS’ past.”

Kira Izumi: “So what’d ya find out? Will any of this mess up anything we got going for J-ROK?”

Agent Smith: “You had no knowledge of anything that was going on, so you’re not at fault. We’ve dug into J-ROK as well and it seems to be ran as legally and cleanly as one could get. As for SSS though…”

Agent Smith: “Ms. Sakata seemed to of had ties with the Yakuza at one point. She was starting up multiple promotions to only close them shortly afterwards, doing this repeatedly to make a quick buck. SSS and its subsidiaries were all apart of a huge money laundering scheme.”

Kira Izumi: “That explains why she sold the place to me for so cheap then. So… was she planning on trying to put all of this on me instead?”

Agent Smith: “Seems so Mr. Izumi. We’ll need you to come to court sometime in the next month or so. We already caught Sakata and are making a case to get her put in prison now.”

Kira Izumi: “Alright…”

We fade to black as the conversation continues off camera.

Match Five: Standard Trios Rules; 30 Minute Time Limit
E.V.E. (Dylan Black, Darlene Price, & BBW) Vs. Dominion (Alex Pierce, Raijin Takayama, & Ryo Sakazaki)

Psycho KGB: "(Just last week we saw Dylan Black join forces with EVE. Now with three of the most dangerous forces in J-ROK as one unit, there's no telling what chaos these three will cause.)"

MUSHI: "(Very true, what these three can do together will be unimaginable. But for their first match as a trio they take on The Dominion, a group who had choice words for all three on twitter and last month. We'll see if they can shock the world tonight and pick up a win in their biggest match in J-ROK to date.)"

The match would start with Dylan Black taking on Ryo Sakazaki. Both would start the match with a bumrush of strikes and violence. a lot of stiff strikes from both men, but you have to wonder how smart it is getting into a fist fight with a man who's 75% cyborg! Apparently not the best decision, seeing as Ryo gets knocked back and his chest gets turned to mince meat with some bionic chops! He manages to dodge a final one and tag out to Alex.

Alex would turn the tides for his team hitting some quick strikes on the flesh of Black and using his speed to hit some more flashy moves on him. Black would tag out to the BBW. Big Bad Wolf would run through like a freight train. The powerhouse of EVE would show the fans why she's just that, hitting impressive power moves on her opponents. Alex would hit some more impressive fast paced moves before tagging out and hitting the Bat Country combo on BBW. it'd get a two count before it'd become Raijin and Dar facing off.

Towards the ending stages of the match we'd see lots of impressive moves and counters. Dominion proving they can at least hang with the big boys, even getting some near falls on their opponents. Dar however would be done playing with them after hitting a solebutt kick and a flash stomp. she'd finish the match with a RU486 getting the victory for her team.

Fumio Daemura: "(Your winner of this match... E.V.E.!)"

Main Event: IJWF World Championship Match; Standard J-ROK Rules; 60 Minute Time Limit
Wolf Fang Ayame Vs. Nausicaa Suzuki (C.)

Psycho KGB: “(This upcoming match is a rematch from their last affair. The last time these two fought they faced at the halloween show last year. Will the results be the same? We’ll find out soon enough!)”

Fumio Daemura: “(This match is for the IJWF World Championship and set for one fall at a sixty minute time limit! Now introducing first in the blue corner… Standing at 5’0 and weighing in at 105 pounds… from the Northern Mountains she is Wolf Fang Ayame!)”

Wolf howls and claws at the camera as her name is called.

Fumio Daemura: “(And her opponent in the red corner, standing in at 5’4 and weighing in at 122 pounds from Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan… she is the REIGNING DEFENDING IJWF Champion of the WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORLD! She is… Nausicaa Suzuki!)”

Suzuki holds her title high above her head before going back to her corner and waiting for the bell to ring.

The bell rings and we’re off to the races. Wolf and Nausicaa start off the match at a fast pace, with Ayame going for a shotgun dropkick towards Suzuki right out the gate. Suzuki is blown back and out of the ring already, we see Ayame jump up to the top rope and go for a diving crossbody. They crash with Wolf on a house of fire. Picking her back up and slamming her into the barricade.

She backs up before charging again, but this time Nausicaa flips her over. Wolf rolls through and lands on her feet, she charges Nausicaa again, jumping off the barricade and going for a hurricanrana. Nausicaa catches her though into a spinning powerbomb onto the ringside mats. The referee can be heard counting in the background, now at a 5. Suzuki picks her opponent up and throws her into the ring, going for a cover once she slides in.

ONE!

TWO!!

Ayame’s foot gets on the rope to break the pin.

Suzuki gets her up and whips her into the ropes, going for a dropkick to the knee. Wolf jumps over it and runs the ropes again, coming back for a running neckbreaker. Momentum on her side she hits her heaven’s howl double knees right onto Suzuki and goes for the pin. At two it gets reversed into a pin from Nausicaa. Wolf flips her into another pin attempt. A small package, a prawn hold. A gedo clutch. It goes back and forth till both women get onto their feet and hear a thunderous applause from the fans.

Wolf charges Nausicaa, getting thrown into the ropes again, she counters a lariat and whips Nausicaa into the ropes instead. Nausicaa comes back and whips Ayame into the corner, she does the flair flip over the turnbuckle and onto the apron. She bounces off the ropes going for a springboard crossbody. She eats shit and a boot right to the face as Suzuki catches her with a Dream Catcher. The cover…

THREE!!

No a kick out. Nausicaa picks her up again, going for her Pandemonium package piledriver. Wolf flips out of it and hits her with an enzugiri. Creating space and now going for a finisher of her own. She attempts her Crescent Moon Kick for it to be blocked. Suzuki grabs her leg and smashes her knee onto the mat before transitioning into that grounded octopus stretch she calls Destiny. With nowhere to go Wolf taps.

Fumio Daemura: “(Your winner of this match and STILL IJWF World Champion… Nausicaa Suzuki!)”
