El Rey def. J.C. Crushing
El Rey would come up in dominating fashion, showing his crushing foe the door with a fast and furious display of offense! J.C. would make attempts to get their head in the game, but El Rey was in top form tonight. He nailed a Society Killer onto a steel chair, unbeknownst to the referee, and after the match cut a promo warning everyone this is how each of his matches would end throughout the whole tournament.

We cut out from the screen and find that we were watching on a laptop along with El Rey. The young man is wearing his mask and ear buds in on a first class flight. He smiles with his eyes as he clicks to replay the highlights of his J-Rok match.
El Rey: This was just the beginning. This was just the start of my marathon run to prove to the world that I am not just another spoiled brat here for kicks. Instead they will find out that I am THEE spoiled brat here to be the best.
El Rey smirks and pauses the screen right at the moment when he drives Crushing’s head into the steel chair.
El Rey: J.C.’s head being smashed into that chair was only the beginning of what is going to be an incredible run. I started with my first match at J-Rok’s King of Hokkaido tournament and now I am headed back to Philly where I got my feet wet earlier this week checking out the city. It was a good idea to get to Fireside early and check it and the city out, because now I have something that is sure to help me get on the right path. No, it is not my steel chair, I left that waiting for me in Japan. What I found in Fireside I will not need to use my chair, but I would hate to ruin the surprise.
We zoom in and we see a sparkle in his eye, but that quickly fades as an announcement is made overhead.
Pilot: We are beginning our decent. Please make sure you are seated with you belt fastened and all electronic devices are turned off.
El Rey rolls his eyes and reaches to power down his laptop. Before he does we see his screen saver.
El Rey’s eyes get big and his quickly mashed the power and shuts the top.
El Rey: You saw nothing!
El Rey’s face around his eyes turn red as we hear a commotion in the distance.
Dylan: What do you mean shut down my electronics? That is half of my damn body!
The red leaves the face of El Rey and he rolls his eyes.
El Rey: I hate that guy.
We fade out from the flight and fade in on the early evening in Philadelphia. We are at a particular place, Citizens Bank Park. The noises off a ball game fill the speakers as we are looking at the back of a baseball jersey. It is not a Phillies jersey, though, but instead their opponents tonight the Atlanta Braves. Specifically it is a jersey of Ronald Acuna Jr. The owner of the jersey turns around and we see the young El Rey, an Atlanta native, is the person on the jersey. Aside from the jersey he is wearing a Braves cap down low above his eyes and a mask over his face.
El Rey: It is nice to be in a city with an actual baseball team, even if they are the garbage ass Phills. You see, baseball was my first love, but I was born to be in the ring. I played shortstop in high school, and I was a good player. If I wanted I could have played in college, but while it was my passion it was not where my real talent was.
Fan: Yo fuck the BARVES.
El Rey pauses as the Phillies fan walks by laughing at his own heckling.
El Rey: As I was saying. My real talent lied on the mat. That is where I won state. That is where I excelled above all who I came across. It was in my blood and came to me so naturally. I could do anything I wanted on that mat. It has not quite translated to the professional ring yet, but I am on my way. That all starts with the run of matches I am going through right now. This weekend I step into a Fireside ring for…
Fan: Acuna is over rated. OVER RATED! He should play the game the right way or take one to the back.
El Rey again pauses. He breathes in deep and lets the fan continue walking by laughing at his own heckling again. El Rey watches as the fan disappears off screen before continuing.
El Rey: Ahem. This weekend I step into a Fireside ring for the first time and I get to learn on the job. I get to face new, and some old, faces in a place I am unfamiliar with. I get to get out of the comfort zone I have built down in New Orleans. No longer am I trying to do what someone else wants me to do, but instead I am doing what I know I am capable of. I will take each opponent to the mat and man-handle them the way only I can, and…
Fan: How’s losin’ over and over in the playoffs feel huh?
El Rey: How does losing daily feel huh? What has spending all that money on Harper done for you huh? Go sit down and shut up jackass.
The fan flips him off and El Rey watches as he exits the screen area once again. El Rey again takes a deep breath, but before he speaks he hears a huge crack of the bat. He turns over his shoulder and watches as Luke Williams’ ball flies over the fence giving the Phillies a walk off win.
El Rey: Shit, I better get out of here. Point is quickly, I am born for this.
El Rey quickly scampers off screen and we fade.
